CHAPTER 1

The screeching alarm clock broke the boy's slumber causing a grumble to be
heard from underneath the pillows. Wanting nothing more than to stop the
inhuman wail that only an alarm clock can make, a pale hand snaked out from
underneath the comforter, blindly searching for the snooze button. Finally
finding the snooze button, Connor pushed it and pulled his hand back into
the warmth of his blankets.

"I know you're not going back to sleep. Connor today is your first day of
high school, so get up."

A blonde head rose from the tangled mess of blankets. "Yes, Janett, I'm
getting up right now."

"Thank you. Don't forget to shower and brush your teeth."

"Okay, Janett."

Leaving Connor to get dressed and ready; Janett shut the door and headed
downstairs to start breakfast. Pushing the blankets further off, Connor
moved off the bed and looked at the clock. "6:45, just enough time for a
quick shower." He pulled off his nightshirt and pajama bottoms, and moved
toward his bathroom but stopped short.

"A few stretches can't hurt."

Moving back to the middle of his room Connor slowed his breathing...
in...out...in...out. He reached down towards his feet while flexing his
legs. His muscular legs quivered with the morning stretch. Standing up, he
rotated his lightly defined arms and shoulders. Connor glanced at the clock
and decided to stretch later. Connor moved into the bathroom and made his
way to the shower to turn on the hot water. Waiting for the water to heat
up, Connor went to the toilet to empty his bladder. Heading back towards
the shower, he removed his boxers. Opening the shower door, Connor stood
underneath the warm spray. His light blonde hair turned dark. He reached up
to grab his shampoo groaning as his muscles stretched. Soap ran down his
back and onto his sculpted physique.

Connor was startled by a sudden bang on the bathroom door followed by
Janett calling through the door.

"Connor you better get a move on or your breakfast will get cold."

"Okay Janett, almost done. I'll be right out." Connor quickly rinsed off
and grabbed a towel. Walking into his closet, he went over to the dresser
where he kept his boxers. Pulling on a pair of tight boxer-briefs, he
grabbed a pair of dark blue jeans that had bright blue stitches on the back
pockets. The jeans hugged his legs and physique perfectly. Moving to where
his shirts are kept, he looked for where the white shirts were and grabbed
one of the plain white shirts.

(Today is the first day of high school and Connor didn't want to give
anyone a reason to pick on him.)

He grabbed a light brown Guess? -- Jacket and a silver Fossil -- watch, he
stood in front of his mirror. "Not too bad, not too bad...better hurry
downstairs before Janett gets mad." He murmured to his reflection.

CHAPTER 2

A knock at his door made Gavin look towards the door as he sat up.

"Gavin, time to get up." a soft voice said from the other side of the door.

"Already up mom...come on in."

A woman entered dressed in a white blouse and a dark purple dress-skirt.

"I see you're ready to start your new job Mom."

"Yeah, I'm so nervous, but this hospital is much better than the one in New
York. Today is a big day for you too... a new school and your first day of
high school on top of that. You must be just as nervous!"

"You bet I am...but I'm sure that it'll be great."

"Well, get up and take a shower because breakfast will be ready soon."

"Okay mom I'll be down in, like, fifteen minutes."

Gavin's mom walked out of his room and shut the door as she left.

"A new school, a new state, a new beginning; this is going to be great!"

Gavin rolled out of bed and landed on his feet. He reached down to the
floor; the muscles relaxed like a snake uncoiling from a night of sleep. A
low groan escaped Gavin's lips as he smiled with the release of tension
from his back. He straightened up and walked into the bathroom shutting the
door behind him. He stepped out of his boxers and slipped off his shirt.
Walking over to the shower, Gavin turned the shower and adjusted the heat
to a comfortable temperature. He grabbed his body wash (which was lightly
scented with vanilla caramel) and quickly and jumped into the shower. Gavin
used a sea sponge to clean his body causing soapsuds to cling to his toned
arms and chest. The water ran down his body like a white river following
the flow of his muscles. The water flowed over his six-pack like a clear
brook flows over rocks. The water washed away the soap from Gavin's body.
He turned off the shower, and grabbed a towel quickly dried off as he
wrapped the towel around his waist, he stepped out of the bathroom, and
walked into his closet looking for an outfit that would get him noticed be
everyone. He grabbed a light purple shirt, and slipped it over his head.
Walking to the other side of his closet, he grabbed a blue jacket and black
boxers. After putting on his jacket and boxers, Gavin moved to the back
where his pants and shorts are kept. Quickly scanning the rows of pants, he
saw a pair of dark blue pants that would pull his outfit together. Gavin
was so focused on getting his outfit ready he didn't notice the man
standing in the doorway.

"I see you're ready for school."

Gavin spun around looked at the blonde man in the doorway.

"Oh, it's just you Lincoln. You scared the crap out of me!"

"Sorry about that buddy, I was just coming to check on you and let you know
that breakfast is ready."

"It's no problem, I just need to slip my pants on and then I'll be
downstairs."

The 6'3 man, with blonde hair left Gavin to finish getting ready for
school. Gavin slipped his pants on and grabbed black skater shoes with
black socks. He hurried down the stairs two steps at a time. Gavin jumped
the last four steps almost ramming into Lincoln.

"Whoa there, is somebody ready to go to their new school?" Lincoln said
sarcastically with a wry smile.

"You bet I am. This is a fresh start and duh, it's California...do you know
how many cute boys are going to be there."

"Well I noticed that you're dressed to impress and I'm sure you'll tell me
all about the `cute boys' when I pick you up from school."

"Hehe, you bet, can we leave now? I don't want to eat breakfast. I'm just
too excited."

"Sure, go grab your bag and meet me by the car."

"Okay, I'll be right back with my stuff!" Gavin said as he turned to head
back upstairs.

"Alright, I'll be in the Lexus."

"Okay!" Gavin shouted as he reached the second floor
