What's Happening To Me?
By Biracialkman

I met Nick online about a week ago. We were both trying to score with this
chick that we'd met in a teen chat room. All I know is that I was a happy,
carefree and enjoying my life. Now look at me. I am a complete mess and I
don't know what happened to cause it.

Before I go on any further allow me to tell you a little about myself. My
birth name is Zurich Antony D'Alessandro but most people call me Zuri. I am
the product of an interracial marriage between two awesome people. I am 17
years old, a nicely built body, deep dimples, perfectly straight white
teeth, biracial, 5'5, 140lbs, and quite a cutie, as I am often told. And,
I am an identical twin. My brother's name is Kenth (nicknamed Keni), and
we are what you might call mirror image twins. It's like if we faced one
another, it would be like looking directly into a mirror. I am right
handed and he is left-handed. (You get the picture) Most of the time we
both wear our hair in cornrows that hang to our shoulders and as corny as
it may seem, most of the time we wear identical clothing. I guess that
comes from our need to fool people about who which one we really are. The
stories I could tell you. We are alike in lots of ways but different in
many other ways. Most people find it hard to tell us apart. One way we
distinguish ourselves is that, I have the letter "Z" embroidered on all of
my shirts and Keni has a "K" on his. (This was mom's idea) We are both were
very athletic, playing both basketball and football. Our pops, being the
sports fanatic that he is, would have had it no to other way. My dad,
Arthur, is a pediatric physician and is a second generation Italian in the
Boogie down Bronx. My mom, a beautiful African American goddess, as my dad
calls her, is from North Carolina. She came to New York after graduating
from college to accept a position as a high school Chemistry teacher in the
mid 80's, but since has become a Chemistry professor at NYU. They met
through mutual friends at a benefit that was hosted by the University.
They were made for one another in an odd but good type way. We live in
Manhattan's Lower East Side and have the best of everything. We are not
rich by any means, but our parents do well enough to keep us comfortable.
The placed a lot of emphasis on family and sticking together, taking care
of one another. I love my parents. They are two awesome, wonderful,
caring people.

Up until a week ago, I had always considered myself as everyday a run of
the mills type guy. We did almost everything together, but our view
differed when it came to matters of the heart. My brother and I would often
double date and would luckily score each time we went out. "The girlies
just couldn't get enough of our "sweet thangs", he often told his friends,
which usually irritated me. My brother was the more promiscuous of the two
of us, but I can assure you that I loved getting a nut whenever the
opportunity presented itself. I mean who wouldn't? I was 17 years old; it
was expected...hehehe. I remember once Keni convinced me to switched sex
partners mid session without the girls even knowing that we had. He
thought it was a hoot. I kinda felt bad about it, but laughed, give him a
high fives when the girls realized what we had done. They were pissed and
stormed out of our apartment, cussing and calling us every name under the
sun. My brother talked me into this one weekend our parents went on a
couple's retreat with a few friend of theirs. We always acted responsibly
around them so they had no reason to believe that we would misbehave and
get into any type of mischief. Little did they know that their precious
little twin boys were as mischievous as we were.

Anyway, it was a Thursday night a week ago and I decided to play around
online while my parents and Keni were downstairs watching some lame TV
show. American Idol or some shit like that. I got online and decided to
go into one of the teen chatrooms in AOL. That was when I met Nick or
Nicolas Arletti, the name given to him at birth. Let me describe him to
you. He is 6'2, 190lbs of All American male. He is Italian, dark
shoulder-length hair which he usually wear in a long ponytail, a pair of
piercing ice blue eyes that combined with his awesome and disarming smile
could melt the coldest of hearts, a six pack with awesome pecs that showed
his hard and strenuous workouts had paid off. We'd both began this
conversation with this chick whose screen name was "Biguns." What a name,
huh? I must admit that even though I talked a good game, Nick's game was
tight. Dude had mad skills and a silver tongue. She appeared to be
fascinated with both of us and we soon all found ourselves in a three-way
private AOL chat. Nick continued to work his charm on her and I must admit,
even I was impressed with him. We were all talking for a while when she
excused herself, saying that she was babysitting her little brother and
that she needed to give him a bath but asked us to stay around until she
got back. Nick and I talked while waiting for her to come back. We
discussed everything from the NBA and NFL to who's hot on the silver screen
to who's not. The more I talked with Nick, the more I like him. I was
never one to talk to guys much online but for some reason this felt right.
The real shocker was that we found out that we attended the same high
school. We were both seniors and shared some common interests. We were
both pretty smart guys but our personalities were as different as night and
day. I was sorta quiet and laid back (opposite my brother's personality)
and he was like the Sylvester Stallone-type character from the movie,
"Rocky. Man, I love hearing him talk. When I first met him, I was really
taken aback because he was not at all what I expected. His size could be
intimidating to those who did not know him, but he had the heart (an
sometimes the behavior) of a child"

"No way!" I'm sure I know you," said Nick. "do you play sports or
anything?"

"Yeah, my brother and I play on the school's basketball team. You may know
us. We're the twins," I said.

"Hell, yeah. I've seen you guys around. I tried out for the team but was
cut. I guess I wasn't impressive enough for coach but I definitely
remember seeing you two. You two guys are small but damn, you got mad
game. Sorta like two Mugsys on the courts...lol"

"Thanks! By the way, my name is Zurich but everyone calls me Zuri. My
brother is Kenth; we call him Keni. Our dad gave us these nicknames and
they just stuck", I said. "It's really hard to tell us apart."

"Yeah, I know. You two look like the identical same person. Yo, man,
anyway, I gotta bounce now and go get a shower before my mom throws a
hissy, but let's meet up tomorrow at school. Let's say before first bell
in the cafeteria. By the way, I'm Nick."

"Yeah, that'll be cool. I'd like that, I said. I'll be wearing a Giants
baseball hat and starter jacket with the letter "Z" on it so you'll know
it's me. Kewl? I said.

"Kewl," said Nick.

"Well, you have a nice one, dude, and I'll see you tomorrow," I said.

"Yeah, and oh, by the way, what happened to that chick that was supposed to
come back?" Nick said. "I really wanna get with her. Gotta give all the
ladies a chance for some loving and a taste of this sweet nectar, you know,
sending the lol's across the screen, indicating a hearty laugh.

"LOL, I can dig it. I don't know what happened to her, but I'm sure we'll
see her again. Talk with you tomorrow. I said.

"Peace," he said.

"Peace," I said.

I sat there at the computer for a moment after logging off thinking about
my conversation with him. Dude really seems cool and I think I'd like to
get to know him, can never have too many friends." I sat there for a few
moments longer then thought I needed to find that starter jacket that I
wanted to wear to school tomorrow. I got up from the computer desk and
went into my closet, searching through all the needless shit I had
cluttered in there.

"Yo, Z, you in here?" Keni shouted as he walked into the room and jumped
on my bed.

"I'm in the closet...be out in a few," he said, "Wassup with you?"

"Nada, nada, just stopped by before heading to bed to see wassup. Just
finished watching TV with the `rents. They started getting a little too
frisky for me and I got sick at the display of affection and decided to
bounce."

"Man, I don't know about them sometimes, dude. They're always over each
other. Don't they know that they can psychologically scar us by seeing
them do that shit," Zuri laughed, coming out of the closet.

"Z", Keni said laughing out loud, "I think dad's a mad, stone freak. And
you know what? I'm gonna be just like him. Can't get enough of dat booty.
Gonna be a freak til the day I die."

I looked at Keni and laughed. I admired and loved my brother a lot, but
sometimes wondered how we could be so different in what matters most.

I walked over to Keni after putting the jacket on the chair next to my bed,
sat down facing Keni, placed my hands on his shoulders and looked him
directly in the eyes. "You, my friend, are a Jackass", I said showing off
my deep dimples and perfectly bright smile. "And besides, what about
Calli?

"What about her? Calli's my girl, man, and I really wanna make it
work with her but that doesn't stop a brother from checking the girlie
girls out. You know her girl Stace really wants to get with you. You
should give her a call or something."

"Nah, I'm not interested in getting with anyone exclusively right
now."

	"You sure? Stace is hot."

	"Yeah, I know."

"Suit yourself. Well, I need to get to bed. Gotta be up early tomorrow."

Keni got off my bed and leaned over giving me a quick hug and peck on the
cheek Even though we bickered with each other, I loved my brother a hell of
a lot and I knew he loved me. Being twins, we were extremely close and
often shared a special moments. We would hug and kiss each other on the
cheek at the end of each night. It was something that they started as
children. Ourr parents always thought it was cute and encouraged us to
always be there for each other and to love and respect one another.

After getting into bed and moving around to get more comfortable, I began
my nightly ritual of playing with my dick beneath the covers. As my dick
began to get harder from my nightly manipulation, my thoughts drifted to my
conversation with Nick. I tried to imagine what Nick actually looked like.
I felt my member grow harder and harder as I thought about him.

"What the fuck am I doing?" I whispered quietly to himself. "Why
am I thinking about him? I laid there for a moment longer reflecting on
what just happened. "This is too weird." I decided to forgo jacking off
and turned over and tried to drift off to sleep. I found myself still
thinking about having almost jacked off to another guy. Eventually sleep
over came me and I fell into an uneasy sleep.

**************************************

I woke up with a start and looked around for my alarm clock. It flashed
6:20 a.m. I knew I'd set it but the alarm didn't go off at 5:45.

"Shit" I shouted out loud, "fuckin alarm clock!" I leapt out of bed and
ran toward the bathroom. When I got to the bathroom that Keni and I
shared, I found him just getting out of the shower drying his braids and
standing there in all of his glory.

"Yo, man, you gonna be late for school." He said.

I looked at him and thought to myself, "What a fuckin selfish dick." This
is one of the traits that we did not share. I loved Keni, he is a
wonderful person and he love him to death, but he seemed to be too self
absorbed at times and only thinks of himself.

"Duh! Why didn't you wake me?" I said, looking at him totally
pissed. "You know, Keni, sometimes I wonder about you, man."

"Hey, I'm not your keeper," He stated still continuing to look at himself."
Damn, I look good", showing off that killer smile that has gotten him so
much play.

"Yeah, whatever!" I said. I took off my shorts and jumped in the shower.
I began soaping up my body and thinking about what happened last night
while thinking about Nick. I thought about the meeting that we had
planned. In fact, I seemed to think of little else since talking with him
online last night for some strange reason. Again, thought of Nick, someone
who I didn't know or have seen to my knowledge, made my dick swell again.
As I begin to subtly play with my dick, pretending to be washing it, I was
interrupted by Keni

"So, what's your plans today? I'm gonna meet up with Calli and see about
taking her out this weekend. She fuckin hot, haven't you noticed?" Keni
said as he looked into the vanity mirror smiling then taking out this
toothbrush and began to brush his teeth.

"Yeah I've noticed. I met this guy in a chat last night while we were both
trying to score with this chick. He goes to school with us and we're gonna
meet up today. Says that he's seen us play and thinks that we got mad game
on the courts. His name is Nick Arletti. You know him?" Zuri said.

Keni rinsed his mouth and smiled once again in the mirror admiring his
look. (He was the vain one, as I am sure you have already noticed)

"Nah, I don't think so, but cool. He turned and looked at me out of the
corner of his eye. "Do you often meet guys in chat rooms and make dates
with them? Keni said. Then he walked out of the bathroom to go get
dressed.

"You know like I said last night, you're a Jackass," I shouted at him while
under the shower rinsing off his soapy body. I got out of the shower,
dried off, brushed my teeth and headed back to his room to get dressed.

Keni walked into my bedroom and sat on my bed while I was dressing.

"Hey Z! I've been thinking. Since next Friday is our 18th birthday, do you
think mom and dad will let us have a party? I think we should have a big
blow out. What do you think?"

I shrugged. "I don't see why not. Let's ask them at breakfast and see
what they say."

At that moment Dad shouted upstairs for us to get a move on or we'd be
late. He told us that breakfast was on the table and we needed to eat
before it got cold. Mom and Dad had always insisted on eating breakfast as
a family. "It was the most important meal of the day," Pops would often
say.

After dressing we headed downstairs to sit down to breakfast. Mom had
prepared an awesome breakfast of pancakes with maple syrup, eggs, sausage
and orange juice. Dad said prayer and we all talked a little about what
was going on at school and at home.

"Dad, Mom," said Keni looking at them from across the kitchen table and
then looking Zuri. "Z and I was wondering if we could have a party here
next Friday night. It's our 18th birthday, you know." Keni said.

"I know," she said. I was there."

What sort of party did you two have in mind?" Dad said.

"Just some friends from school and the neighborhood. Some food, music, you
know, the usual party stuff."

Mom and Dad looked at each other and shrugged.

Sure sweetie, I don't see why not," mom had said. "Do you need me to plan
it or do anything special?

"Yeah, Mom, if you can handle the food, Keni and I can handle
everything else." I said. "It's not gonna be anything really that special,
like Keni said, just a few friends, food and music.

"Will Calli be coming? Dad asked Keni, a grin spreading across his
face as he winked at him?

"I sure hope so. I'm gonna ask her today at school."

"Zuri, are you inviting anyone special?" Mom asked.

"I haven't decided yet," Zuri answered already somewhat irritated.
Unlike Keni, I was a little shy when talking about girls or anything
personal with my parents and like to keep my personal life private, even at
times from Keni. "I haven't found anyone that I am interested in yet," I
said.

"I'm trying to hook Z up with a friend of Calli's named Stace.
She's hot and is always trying to set up something with him. I don't know
why he's dragging his feet", Keni said looking at me then back to Mom.

"Look!", I said staring angrily at Keni, "I'm capable of getting a
date without any help from you. So why don't you just give it a rest,
man?"

"Yo, Chill bro!" I didn't mean to offend you or suggest that
you're can't get your own dates. I was only saying that Stace likes you a
lot and wanted to get to know you."

"Sweetie, don't be so offensive," Mom interjected. "Your brother was only
trying to help. He didn't mean any harm."

I knew that I was overreacting but I couldn't help it. Since talking with
Nick last night and my almost jack off session thinking of him, it bothered
me more and more. "Damn, what's wrong with me?" I thought to myself. I
paused for a long moment and took a deep breath. They all looked at me
with a concerned looks on their faces.

"Listen, I'm not angry. I just have a lot on my mind. Mom, Dad,
sorry for yelling. Sorry Keni. Thanks for what you're trying to do but
just leave it alone, ok?

"Yeah, ok. Sorry about making u mad, Zman." Keni said.

	"It's ok"

We discussed the details of the party with Mom and Dad a little while
longer. Mom interrupted our planning and reminded us that it was getting
late and that we should get a move on if we didn't wanna be late.

We quickly cleared our breakfast plates and ran back upstairs to get out
bookbags. I stopped off at the bathroom to wash up and take a pee. Coming
out of the bathroom, Keni stopped me in the hall.

"Listen, man, I just wanna say again that I am sorry for being such
an ass and busting your balls this morning about Stace. I'll leave it
alone, ok?" he said.

        It's ok. I don't know what's wrong with me but I shouldn't take it
out on you. You my bud, man," I said.

"Don't worry about it. We all have those days."

We both embraced for a moment and he kissed me on the cheek.

	"Love you, man," I said

"Love you, too, Z. And, I will stop nagging you about Stace, even
though the girl is PHYNE."

"Yeah, yeah, I know." I said. "If you think she's so PHYNE, why
don't you get with her?"

"Nah, man! I'm with with Calli and I'm not tryin to mess that up."

"I never thought I'd see the say that you would become a one
woman's man." I said laughing.

"Well, we all have to start growing up sometime." He said to me
with a wink.

"Alright, where is my brother and what have you done with him?" I
said showing off my deepest smile and an apparent show of brotherly
affection for him.

I punched him in the chest and took off running. "Faggot," he shouted and
ran after me downstairs. We stopped when we reached the kitchen and kiss
Mom and Dad and told them that we loved them and left. It was around 7:30
when we left home. Luckily, we only lived a few blocks from out school, so
it did not really take us long to get there.

We got to school around 7:50 a.m. and headed to our lockers. My meeting
Nick was still weighing heavily on my mind. I was anxious about it and
dreading it at the same time. We were putting away our books when Keni
noticed Calli working towards them. He gave Zuri a nudge and said, "There
she is, man, my future wife.

Zuir looked towards Calli then back at his brother shaking his head and
smiled.

         "Wassup, Keni...Wassup, Zuri?" she said.

	"Wassup, babydoll," Keni said.

"Wassup Calli? How are ya?" I said. I genuinely liked Calli. She
was always kind and sweet to both us, especially to Keni. We've known her
since grade school.

"What are you two up to? She asked looking from me directly into
Keni's eyes. She was one of the few people who could actually tell us
apart. Being mirror imaged twins, it was really difficult to tell us apart
by looks alone. Maybe it was the facial expression or something. I don't
know.

"Nothing much, babydoll. Wassup with you?" Keni asked as she
slipped into his arms and planting a wet one on his lips.

"Listen," I said. "I'll catch up with you two later. I gotta run.
Calli, you're looking good, girl."

"Thanks, Zuri. You too. You know you should..."

"Don't say it", I interrupted. "I know what you are about to say."
I guess she could tell by the expression on my face that I didn't want to
hear it.

"Yeah, babydoll, just leave it alone. I'll explain it later."
Keni said.

"Oh, ok. Well, talk with you later, Zuri." She looked at me with
a confused look on her face and then showingly shrugged it off.

Keni said that he needed to meet with coach about some extra practice time.
"Catch you in a few". Keni said.

"Yeah, ok. See you, Calli." I said, as I headed over to the
cafeteria. I was still somewhat nervous about meeting Nick, although I
felt that I was perfectly safe. I guessed meeting the unknown was the
reason I was on pins and needles. Also, the almost jackoff thinking of
Nick was fucking with me pretty badly, too.

When I walked in the cafeteria, I stood for a moment and scanned the
cafeteria looking for who I thought might be Nick. Someone walked up
behind him .

"You must be Zuri," said the strange voice coming from behind me.

I turned around to see the face that matched the smooth sounding baritone
voice. "Yeah, that me. You must be Nick". I said extending his hand out
for a handshake. This guy was a handsome, smooth-looking dude. He was
much bigger thatn I imagines. He hands were massive compared to mine. Her
had that most angelic face and a smile that could steal your heart.

"You know it like a poet," Nick retorted.

        "Nice to meet you, dude."

"Yeah, nice meeting you too. Like I told you last night, I have
seen you around but I don't really know too many people here yet. I only
transferred here about a month ago, at the beginning of basketball season.
I'm from the Boogie down, but we just recently moved out here to the city.
My dad got a new job out here and so he felt the need to move."

"Cool," I said "My dad's from the Bronx, too, over near the Grand
Concourse and East 164th Street.

"Yeah, I know the area. I'm from Westchester Ave." he said.

We both walked over the nearest table and sat down. I was beginning to
experience a little anxiety but not sure why. I knew I wanted to get to
know Nick but being around him was making me nervous as hell. I spent most
of my life around my brother and while I knew a lot of people, I never
really wanted to get close to anyone, but somehow it was different with
Nick.

"So, tell me about yourself" Nick said. He turned his seat around
backwards, straddling it and faced me. He looked directly at me and
flashed an awesome smile, showing perfectly straight white teeth.

I told him what was going on in my life. I told him all about Keni, my
parents, home and school life, etc. The more I talked, the more
comfortable I began to feel. Nick was looking directly into my eyes the
whole time. While I was telling him my story, Keni walked up.

"So this is Nick," Keni said reaching down to give Nick a
handshake. Both of us looked up to see Keni towering over us with his hand
extended to Nick. "Zuri's told me a little about you, that he met you
online last night. I'm Keni, Zuri's better half."

"Wassup, Keni," Nick said extending his hand for a shake. "Man,
you two look exactly alike. How can people tell the difference?

"I'm the better looking one, Keni said looking at me, giving me a
wink.

"Yeah, you wish, I retorted, smiling at my double.

I really wanted Nick to like me, but I was glad Keni was around; it made me
feel more at ease while I talked. We sat around for about 15 minutes
getting to know each other before it was time for us to head off to class.

"Zuri, let's meet up after school today. Maybe we can hang out or
something, Nick said.

"Yeah, that'll be cool but it'll have to be after basketball practice.
Meet me in the gym around 5:30". I said, looking at him intently. There
must have been a strange look in my eyes because I could see Keni's gazing
at me out of the corner of my eye.

He just stood and observed the conversation between the two of us. He
looked from me to Nick and back to me again. He looked at us with that
"What the Hell" look on his face, a look that I knew only too well. I
couldn't imagine what was going on in his mind but I just decided to just
leave it alone. He must have shrugged it off because he extended his hand
again to Nick and said, "Nice meeting with you, man".

"Yeah, same here, Nick said, "I'll be seeing you around." He
looked back at me, "I'll catch you this afternoon."

Nick walked off leaving us standing there alone. Keni looked at him
walking off for a long moment and then turned to me. "Wassup with that
dude?"

I looked at him and then at Nick walking across the cafeteria then out the
door. "Nothing! Why do you ask?" I said, looking at him with a look of
concern on my face.

"Just seems a little strange, that's all, he said.

I tried to play it off. "You think everything is strange."

"Yeah, whatever. I'll catch you later. Gotta go catch up with
Calli." He said as he walked toward the cafeteria doors where Nick and
just exited.

Keni took off sprinting as he exited the doors just as first bell rang. I
headed towards Trig class. I had just past through the cafeteria door when
someone yelled out my name.

        "Zuri..wait up."

I turned to see Stace walking towards me, coming out of the ladies
restroom. "Wassup, cutie?" she said

        "Hey, wassup Stace?"

"Calli just told me that you and Keni were having a party next
Friday night. Am I invited?

"Sure, yeah, you can come. Are you planning to bring someone with
you, you know, a date?"

"I was hoping that I was gonna be your special guest," she said. "I be
seeing you checking me out, boy." She said smiling at me in that seductive
way that only a girl with experience could pull off.

Even thought I was not interested in Stace sexually, I did like her as a
person, but her assertiveness was an absolute turn off. I wanted to tell
her to knock it off and be herself if she ever dreamed of having a chance
with me, but decided to just leave it alone. It would probably create more
problems than it was worth.

"Is that right?" I said looking at her with all the seriousness that I
could muster. "Well, u are invited to come but I don't think I'll be
inviting any special guests."

"Why not? You sound like you're not interested in me and I know you
are. Calli told me that Keni said that you were."

I looked at her for a moment and thought to myself. This girl is really
tripping and I'll deal with Keni's big ass mouth later. "Listen, Stace, I
really need to get to class before Mr. Williams have a fit. I'll talk with
you later." I said as I walked off leaving her standing alone in the hall.
I knew it was rude, but as I said earlier, her assertiveness was really
making me nervous and it was a complete turn off.

"Ok, cutie. Can I give you a call later tonight," she yelled behind me.

"Yeah, you do that," I said as I stepped into class, barely missing the
tardy bell.

I moved to my usual seat in the back of the class and I sat there for a
while not paying attention to what was going on, but thinking of my meeting
with Nick and my conversation with Stace. I was having strange and
conflicting feelings about what was going on with me. "Why am I thinking
about him? Why does she irritate me so much?", I thought to myself. I like
Stace and Nick's a nice guy and all and I would like to get to know him as
a friend, but why am I having this giddy feeling when I think of him and
not the same when I think of her. I like girls. Hell, I love girls.
These thoughts occupied most of my thought throughout the morning.

Finally the lunch bell rang and I headed towards the cafeteria to find
Keni. We usually ate lunch together surrounding by a bunch of his fans,
which always consisted of Calli, Stace and a few others who would just tag
along. After getting my tray of food or what they called food, I spotted
Keni in our usual seat and proceeded to head that way. Before I reached
the table, someone called my name. It was Nick. He was sitting across the
cafeteria with a bunch of dudes who were laughing and making all kinds of
loud noises. I threw my head back, indicating a "What's up" and he waved
me over. I was about to head towards him when Keni called me. "Z, come
over here, man. I looked at Keni and smiled. I'll catch up with you
later, I mouthed to Nick and headed over to my usual station.

"Wassup with you, man?" Keni said. "You know you eat with me
everyday and now you were about to head over to your `new friend' and leave
me high and dry, huh?

"You know it's not like that, man. Besides you have you fan club
and you seem to be holding court well." I said.

"We want you here with us," Stace said as she scooted over closer
to me. "Those guys over there are losers anyway, she said. Don't be around
associating with them, you may get the same reputation as they have."

"And what reputation is that?," I asked.

"You know, the kind that they have. The kind that shows that they
are not gonna amount to much", she said.

I looked at her for a moment, then over to Nick's table, then back to her
again. I was about to say something that I would NOT have regretted then
thought better of it. I looked to Keni who was looking at me with a
strange look. I knew he wanted to say something to me, but I guess he
decided to wait to later.

Calli interrupted the moment and looked at me. "We've been talking about
the party that you two are having next weekend and deciding who we are
gonna invite."

"Who WE are inviting?," I said, looking at her then at Keni.

"Yeah, We," Keni said. "You are not doing anything to help with the
preparations.

"We only just began planning it this morning, man. Give me some time to
get something together. I haven't had time to think about it. What's
wrong with you, I said, becoming very heated with him for making plans for
a party that I was apart of without any input from me.

I stared at him for a moment, then said, "Do whatever you want to do".

Calli and Keni snuggled closer to each other and began to discuss the party
with occasional input from Stace and the rest of the crew. I just sat
there, periodically looking over towards Nick who would always meet my gaze
with a smile. Once I look up to see Keni looking directly at me with a
cold stare on his face. I lowered my head and continued to eat my lunch.
I knew I was gonna hear about this later on. "What's happening to me?"
