What's Happening To Me?
By Biracialkman

After a very awkward lunch with Keni, Calli, Stace and the crew, I headed
off to gym class. I usually met up with Mouse [Alberto], a good friend of
ours who played on the basketball team and who Keni and I met the beginning
of our freshman year in high school. Mouse and I had PE together and
usually met up at my locker after lunch each day to walk to gym together.

"Zuri, wassup?' Mouse asked as he approached my locker. This was
the usual meeting place since my locker was closest to the gymnasium.

"Hey, Mouse! Wassup, man?" I asked.

"Nothing much. Just trying to get through the day. Wassup with
you? You seem stressed, buddy. Anything wrong?"

"Nah, I'm alright. Just a little pissed at Keni and his usual
selfishness."

"Oh, well, you know Keni. He's in a world of his own. What'd he do
this time?" He asked.

"The usual. Anyway, let's get going before we're late. You know
coach." I said, closing my locker and picking up my gym bag off of the
floor.

        "Yeah, I know."

"Hey, by the way, Keni and I are having our 18th birthday party
next Friday night. You're invited to come.' I said.

"Kewl, man. Are you gonna invite Stace?" He asked innocently.

I stopped dead in my tracks, turned and stared at him. I had had my fill
of this Stace thing with everyone.

"Don't you start, too." I yelled at him. "Why is everyone fucking
with me about her?"

"Whoa," he said holding up his hand in the universal stop mode.
"Don't bite my head off. I was just asking, Z. I didn't mean any harm."

"Sorry, Mouse," I said trying to calm myself. "I didn't mean to
yell at you. It just that I have a lot on my mind right now and Stace is
all that anyone seems to talk about. I know you didn't mean any harm, but
just let's not talk about her right now, ok?"

"Ok, man. You got it," he said. "I know how it is."

Mousey and I continued walking toward the gym, discussing the party and
some of the people that Mouse thought that I ought to invite. Right before
entering the gym, I heard someone call my name. We both immediately turned
around and I saw Nick jogging our way.

"Zuri, wait up," he called out again.

"Who's that?" Mousey asked. "He looks familiar."

        "Oh, that's Nick. He's a dude that I just met. He's cool," I
said.

"Hey man, what happened in the lunchroom earlier? Is something
wrong?" Nick asked, looking at me with a concerned expression on his face.
"Did I do something wrong?"

"No," I answered. "Why do you ask? Oh, by the way, this is
Alberto, my best friend. We call him Mouse. Mouse, this is Nick."

"Wassup Mouse. Nice meeting you." he said extending his hand out to
Mouse for a shake.

"Hey, nice meeting you, too, Nick," Mouse said accepting his hand.

"I just thought something was wrong when you were heading my way in
the cafeteria, then you went the other way when your brother called." he
said. "Then that Spanish girl who was sitting next to you walked past me
leaving the cafeteria and told me that you had better things to do than
hang around me. I have no idea what that meant or what it was about."

        "Stace said that?" I asked.

"Yeah, is that her name, Stace?" He asked, "The phyne Spanish girl
who was talking at the table with you and your brother?"

"Yeah, that's her. I don't have any idea what that was about, but
I'm gonna find out. Meet me here this afternoon like we planned around
5:30." I told him.

"Ok, buddy," he said, "hey, nice meeting you Mouse. Hope to be
seeing you around, man."

        "Yeah, same here," Mouse said.

Nick looked at the both of us for a moment and then turned and trotted back
toward the main building, leaving me and Mouse standing outside the gym.

"What was all that about?" Mouse asked.

"Fuck if I know. He's a cool guy, like I said. Only met him today
in person but talked with him last night in a chat with this girl we were
hitting on. Seemed to be cool and after we talked for a while, we realized
we both went to school here. So, we decided just to meet up this morning,
but for some reason, everyone seems to have a problem with it."

We walked into the gym and headed toward the locker room while I told Mouse
the whole story. I told him about how Keni acted when meeting him and how
he acted at lunch. I told him that Stace acted no better, calling him and
his friends a bunch of losers.

"Why would Stace approach him after lunch and tell him that?" I
wondered."

        "This is weird," Mouse said.

"Yeah, I know. Anyway, let's get dressed and out there before
coach starts yelling and gettin' in our shit about being late."

        "Word," Mouse said.

The rest of the period and school day went about pretty much routinely. I
still thought about Nick and the situation with Stace and Keni's behavior.
"Maybe," I thought. "because we are twins, he can sense what I am feeling
about Nick."

"Nah, he couldn't know that. No one could..."

During practice that afternoon, things were going no better. I kept
getting strange vibes from Keni while we practiced. This was something I
never experienced before from him. It was like he was looking directly into
my soul. I kept making fucked up shots and coach kept yelling at me to get
my head out of my ass and back into the game. Keni must have had enough
because he pulled me aside and asked what in the hell was wrong with me. I
told him that I had a lot on my mind. He started to say something to me
and I just knew that it would involve Nick, but he must have thought better
of it.

"Just shake it off and get back into the practice and your
performance, Z, " he said.

"Sorry, K, I'll do better," I said, smiling at my double.

He smiled back and gave me a quick hug and pushed me back on the court. I
turned and looked at him and he winked at me. I quickly jogged past him on
the court.

"I love you, man." I whispered.

        "Same here, bro." He mouthed.

We practiced until around 5:15. Coach blew the whistles in three short
blows, indicating end of practice.

"Shower up, gents," he yelled. We all scurried toward the locker
room. I quickly showered up and was back out in the locker room getting
dressed. I saw Keni talking and joking around with a few of the guys on
the team.

"Hey Keni! I'm gonna stay after for a while this afternoon. I
promised Nick that I'd meet up with him after practice. You'll let mom and
dad know?"

"Yeah, ok," he said, but I knew that he wasn't pleased about it.

I walked over to Keni and pulled him to the side. "Let me ask u a
question. Nick mentioned that Stace came up to him after lunch and told
him that I had better things to do than hang around him. Do you know
anything about that?" I asked.

"Nope. You gonna have to ask her, but she's probably just looking
out for yourbest interests."

I looked at him for a moment, bewildered at his comment. He must have
sensed that I was about to blow because he looked away like he knew he'd
said something wrong.

"What does she know about what's best for me?" I said out loud
causing stares from the team. The thought of her was beginning to piss me
off. In fact, the way everyone was acting was beginning to piss me off,
including Keni's behavior.

"Why?" He asked looking at my suspiciously.

"What do you mean why? She doesn't know anything about me. I mean
nothing more than anyone else. How can she know what's best for me? She's
only hounding after my dick. Fuck her!" I said fuming at the thought.

"Hey, don't bite my head off. Like I said, you're gonna have to
ask her because I have no idea." He yelled back at me. "You know, I don't
know wassup with you today but you better check yourself," he said before
walking off with some guys on the team. When reaching the door, he looked
back and said that he'd tell mom and dad that I'd be a little late. I
looked at him and nodded. He walked out and I just stood there for a
moment wondering if in fact I was acting strangely. I finished dressing
and walked out of the locker room.

There was Nick all laid out on the bleachers with a walkman on. I walked
up to him and punched him on the leg. He opened his eyes and he looked
over at me. The most beautiful smile spread out on his face and my heart
nearly stopped, looking at him.

"Zuri, wassup?" He said standing up, towering over me.

"Nothing much, guy. Just a little tired." I answered.

"Well, we can meet up and talk some other time if you are tired."
He said.

"Nah, nah, I'm okay," I said. "been looking forward to talking
with you all day long."

"You have?" he asked. Man, that smile and his eyes had me
mesmerized. I could have stayed there the rest of the night and looked at
him. "Zuri, you ok?" he said.

        "Yeah, I'm cool."

"You kinda zoned out on me. You sure?" Nick asked.

"Yeah, it's just been a long day and my attention span isn't that
long."

"Wow, thanks a lot,' he said.

"Oh, I didn't mean you were losing my attention, I just meant..."

"Hey, don't worry about it," he interrupted. "I was only joking
with you.. Chill out, it's ok."

We both laughed. "Hey, let's get out of here. Do you like the arcades?
He asked.

"Yeah, a lot. Why do you ask?" I said.

"Well, I've been wanting to check out that arcade over on 42nd and
8th Avenue. You wanna come along?"

"Nah, I better not. It's getting kinda late and I don't wanna be
too much later getting home. I have lots of homework and a paper due next
week that I'd better get cracking on. What about tomorrow? It's Saturday
and we can hang out all afternoon."

"Ok, that sounds like a good idea. It's a date then," he said.

Strange choice of words," I thought, but still, I liked the sound.

"Do you live nearby," I asked him.

"Nah, I have to catch the subway to and fro. What about you?" he
asked.

"I only live a few blocks away. Doesn't take me long at all to get
home." I told him. "I'll walk you over to the subway. We can talk on the
way." I said.

"Kewl!" He said as he gathered up his book bag and put his walkman
away. I gathered my stuff and we left the gym.

As we left the school and headed toward the subway. Nick asked me if I was
hungry. I was hungry as hell. He suggested that we stop off by this cool
little restaurant that was on the way to the subway and get something quick
to eat.

"Kewl, I can use something to eat. I'm starving." I said.

"I usually stop off here in the afternoons before going home. Dad
works late and there is no one there but me, and I can't cook for shit,' he
said laughing and giving me a high five. "Last time I almost burned the
joint down, and dad was pissed. Told me to stay out of the kitchen."

I laughed at his sense of humor and could only imagine him in the kitchen
fucking shit up. Of course, I was no better. Mom usually did the cooking
on the weekends and our housekeeper, Lydia, did it on weekdays.

"Yeah, I know what you are saying, man. My mom won't let me
anywhere near the stove. Never liked it much anyway.

We walked into the restaurant and grabbed a booth next to the window.

I love New York City. There is no other place in the world like it to me.

A cute black waitress walked over to our table and spoke to Nick as if they
were old friends. He spoke to her and they chatted for a few moments. He
introduced us, telling me her name was Cathy. I got a good feeling from
her and I liked her instantly. She took our orders and said that it would
be right up.

I asked Nick to tell me about his home life. I wanted to know everything
about this dude.

"I have one brother that lives with my mom, but I live with my
dad." He said. "My mom and pops have been divorced for a few years now.
It happened after dad found out that mom was hittin' it with the building's
super. When dad found out about it from one of our neighbors, he
confronted Mom and she didn't deny it. She blamed him, saying that he
wasn't there for her so she had to get it somewhere. Man, dad went
ballistic and one thing led to another. He left that night and only came
back once to pick up his stuff."

Nick paused a moment before continuing.

"I love my dad more than anything and it really fucked me up that
he was hurting so bad. I began to hate mom for what she did. All I knew
was that I wanted to be with my dad. The whole thing didn't seem to
bother, Dennis, my brother, but it pissed me off big-time. Things were not
good between me and mom, so I eventually moved in with dad. He was happy
to have me with him. He was always a good dad and we were always pretty
close anyway.

I looked into Nick's eyes and you could still see the hurt in them. He was
on the verge of crying, but he didn't. I wanted to reach across the table
and hug him but fought back the urge.

"Man, I'm sorry," I said looking at him intently.

"Nah, it's ok. I'm fine with it now." He said.

Cathy bought our food and we wolfed it down like nothing else mattered. We
ate in complete silence but from time to time looking at each other and
smiling. For some reason, this was so awkward. Anyway, after we'd
finished eating, Nick asked me again about the incident with Stace in the
cafeteria.

"Nick, I'm sorry about that. I don't know why she said that to
you."

"Is something going on with you two. Is she your girl or
something?" he asked.

"Hell no! She wants to be, but I'm not feeling her. She's too
aggressive for me and that's a definite turn-off." I said thinking to
myself that I needed to call her when I got home to see wassup with her and
why she had this thing against Nick. "But I'm gonna find out. Just don't
pay her any attention, ok?"

"Yeah, ok! I just didn't know what I did to cause her to talk to
me like that." He said.

Nick called Cathy over to the table and handed her a twenty to pay for the
check.

"Nick you don't have to pay for me. I can pay for my own dinner,
buddy." I said to him.

"Nah, don't worry about it. I wanna pay, ok?" He said.

        "You sure?" I asked.

"Yep, it's not much anyway." He said, looking and smiling at me.
He looked at the check and said to me, "Damn, you sure are a cheap date."

I laughed and thought to myself that this was the second time he used the
word "date".

"What's so funny?" he asked as a bright smile spread across his
ruggedly, handsome face.

"Nothing," I said, "just thinking 'bout something.

"Does it involve me? He asked.

"Maybe," I said smiling and then giggling.

"So? You gonna tell me what's so funny or what?"

"Nah, it's not important. Just something I was thinking about." I
said.

He looked at me seriously for a moment as if he was contemplating
something. I could only imagine what was running through his mind. Then
he said something that really caught me off guard.

"Would you date me?" he asked with a serious expression on his
face.

I laughed and was about to say something silly to change the conversation
when Cathy returned with his change. We thanked her and I told her how
nice it was to meet her. I left a nice tip and we left the restaurant. He
must have sensed my nervousness because he let the conversation and
previous question drop. We began to head in the direction of the subway
station.

"You really don't have to walk me, Zuri," he said. "I know the
way." He laughed.

" I don't mind. I don't live far from the station anyway." We
continued walking and talking until we got to the station.

"So," he said. "What about tomorrow? What do you wanna do?"

"We can check out that arcade and a movie, if you like. I wanna
check out Xmen2, if that's cool with you."

"Oh hell yeah, I'm dying to see that flick." He said. "Cool, it's
a date."

I looked at him again and he looked at me. "Date, huh?" I asked.

"Yeah, a date," He answered, showing that smile again.

"Yeah, ok, a date it is then." I smiled. "Let me give you my cell
number. Call me in the morning and we can figure something out then. Or
better yet, call me later on tonight around 11, if you are up."

"Bet. I can do that." He said.

He held out his hand to me. "Nice meeting you, Zuri. It's been really
cool getting to know you." He said. "I feel like we've really connected
and like we've know each other for a long time."

"Same here, Nick," I said. "It's been cool, man. And thanks again
for dinner. It meant a lot."

We said our goodbyes and I stood at the subway station entrance while he
descended the stairs. He kept looking at me as he went down. At the
bottom he turned and looked back at me again. We held each other's gaze
for a moment and he suddenly raised his hand to his ear like he had a phone
in it.

        "Call you later," he said

I nodded my head, smiled and turned and began walking home. I couldn't
help thinking about my afternoon with him. I mean, yesterday morning I was
a happy-go-lucky guy, but today I felt totally different. I felt good and
disturbed at the same time by the events that had taken place throughout
the day. "Wassup with me," I thought to myself as I walked home. "I'm not
gay but why am I having these thoughts about Nick. Hell, I don't even
know."

When I got home, Mom, Dad and Keni were in the kitchen talking about the
party. I gave mom a kiss on the cheek and dad a high five.

        "Hey sweetie," Mom said.

"Hey, Mom and Dad! How was your day?' I asked.

"The usual." they both said in unison and we all laughed.

We sat around for a few and continued to discuss what we had planned so far
for the party. Well, actually, what Keni had planned. I hadn't done
anything as of yet. Keni had a written list of all the people that he
wanted to invite and asked if I would like to add some people that I wanted
to invite. Strangely enough, Stace's name was no where on the list. He
must have sensed that I noticed it because he looked at me signaling, "I
know." My brother sometimes amazes me with his keen perception. I must
admit, he knew me better than I thought he did. He also noticed that I was
adding Nick's name to the list of people that I wanted to invite. He
looked at me, but said nothing.

After talking with Mom and Dad for a while, I told them that I had load of
homework to do, and that I would talk with them later.

"Aren't you hungry, sweetheart?" Mom said. "Lydia fixed all of
your favorites."

"No, ma'am." I said. "Nick and I had something to eat before
coming home."

"Who's this Nick anyway?" Dad asked. "Keni told us that you were
meeting him after school. He says that he's some guy you met on the
internet."

I looked at Keni, who in turned stared at me. Our eyes were transfixed on
one another's. I could have whipped his ass right then and there for
making a statement like that. I'd told Keni exactly how we met and under
what circumstances and now he was trying to imply that I was cruising for
guys on the net, at least that was the way I saw it. I was pissed to no
end. "Why in the fuck would he do something like that?" I thought.

"It's not like that, Dad, and Keni knows it," I said seething with
anger but composing myself. I explained to them how we met online and how
we found out that we attended school together. "We just decided to meet up
at school after talking online and introduce ourselves to one another. It
wasn't like I was picking him up. Geez, who do you think I am?" I said
looking with hatred at Keni. He knew exactly what he was doing but for the
life of me, I couldn't understand why he was doing it. I mean, Keni is my
bro, my double, my doppleganger. "What was up with him?" I thought.

"It's no problem," Dad said. "We know you better than that, son.
And, your brother didn't imply that you were picking up guys on the net.
He loves you, Zuri, and he would never make a comment like that to hurt
you."

"That's right, sweetheart," Mom said. "You need to calm yourself
and stop thinking Keni is out to get you. He loves you, baby."

In spite of what my parents were saying to me on Keni's behalf, I knew what
I knew. Yeah, he may love me but his implications were damned
intentional. I just didn't know why. He'd never done anything like that
before. We've always been close, sharing everything. I knew him and he
knew me. I would have never believed that he would do this to me.
Honestly, I don't know if I was more pissed at him for how he treated Nick
or his betrayal of me. I sat there a moment longer listening to them
defend Keni to me while he said absolutely nothing looking at me the entire
time. I got up from the table in the middle of their talking. "I have
work to do," I said and was about to leave the room.

"Hold it," Dad said, getting up from his seat. Your mom and I were
talking to you. Don't you ever interrupt us and dismiss us like you just
did. Do you understand, Zurich?" he yelled. I knew he was pissed because
he used my full name, and his tone was not pleased.

"Yes, sir." I said. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that. I just
have lots of work to do and wanted to get started, that's all. Sorry,
Mom."

"It's ok, Zurich. Are you sure there is nothing bothering you?
Your dad and I are here for you. So is Keni." She said.

"No, I'm ok. It's like I said, I just have a lot on my mind. I'm
fine." I looked at Keni for a moment and then asked if I could be excused.

"Yeah," Dad said. "Just watch your tone from now on, son. Ok?"

        "Yes, sir."

I grabbed my book bag and went up to my room. I was overwhelmed with
emotion.. I was having such a good evening with Nick and now I had to come
home to this. "How can things get so fucked up so quickly," I thought. I
sat down at my computer desk, laid my head on my folded arms, closed my
eyes and thought about everything what was happening to me. I must have
been in a very deep thought because the next thing I knew Keni was knocking
at my door.

"Can I come in, Z?" he asked.

"What do you want Keni?" I said.

"I just want to tell you that I'm sorry if I made u mad. I didn't
mean to. I was just telling Mom and Dad that you were meeting Nick after
school, and they wanted to know who he was. That's all, man. I swear." He
said.

I just sat there for a moment, looking at him. Why was he on this on
again, off again mood? For the life of me, I couldn't figure him out.

"I see you invited your boy to the party," he said holding the list
of names in his hand.

"Yeah, he's a good guy." I said. I studied him for a moment, then
I asked, "Let me ask you something? Why do you have a problem with Nick,
and don't tell me that you don't because I know that you do. I know you,
Keni"

"Apparently you don't know me, bro, because I don't have a problem
with anyone," he answered. "What is it with you and that question? Why
does it matter to you how I feel about him anyway? As long as you like him,
what does it matter?"

"Listen, forget I asked. Just leave me alone, man. I don't wanna
talk right now.

        "Zuri." He said.

"Keni! I said that I don't wanna talk right now. Leave me alone."
I yelled.

Keni stood there for a moment and then turned and walked out. I sat back
down at my computer desk, took out my books and busied myself in my school
work. I didn't wan to think anymore about what was happening. Before I
knew it, it was 10:30 and I wanted to be in bed when Nick called. I put my
stuff away, went down stairs to say good night to my parents who were on
the couch asleep. My mom's head was laying in my dad's lap and he was
snoring. I went to the kitchen to gett something to drink and then headed
back up stairs, making a pit stop by the bathroom before heading to bed. I
was just finishing up undressing and getting into bed and right on cue my
cell rang. I looked at my alarm. "11:00 on the dot," I said, "at least
he's punctual."

"Wassup?" came a deep thick Italian voice over the phone line.
"What are you up to?"

"Hey, Nick. Nothing much, just finished my homework, and getting
into bed. What are you up to?" I asked

"Nothing really. Just laying across my bed talking to you. "You
seriously do homework on Friday nights." He asked.

"Yeah, if I have a lot to do, which is not too often."

"Ah, a brainiac, huh?" he said in the sexiest voice I'd ever
heard. My dick was automatically at attention just listening to him. I
decided to just go with the flow and not question my feeling."

"Not really, but just gotta do what I gotta do." I said.

"That's cool. So, you ready for our big date tomorrow?" He said
lightly laughing into the phone. I laughed, too. He knew he was fucking
with me and I had to admit, I was eating it up.

"If that what you wanna call it." I said.

"That's what it is, isn't it?"

"Whatever!" I said laughing. "Where do you wanna meet?"

"That depends on you. It's your day. Whatever u want, u get."

I laid there listening to him and what he was saying. My dick was
throbbing and dripping wet. This dude was turning me on bigtime. My hand
had slipped into the waistband of my boxers as I listened to him. I was
intoxicated with lust. My voice was calm and had slipped unconsciously
into sex mode.

"So, I can get what I want, huh?' I asked.

        "That's what I said, man."

I think we both felt the heat that was developing between the two of us,
but were unwilling to comment on it. All I knew at that moment was that I
wanted to be with him more than anything else. I wanted him in bed with
me, to lay close to him, to feel my body against his, to talk with him. I
had never felt this way before, but it just felt right. At that moment, I
didn't care about anything else. I didn't care about whether it was right
or wrong, or gay, or what anyone might say or think. I just wanted what I
wanted and what I wanted was Nick. I was about to say something that I may
have regretted when he said that he had to go. His mom was calling him.

"Fuck!" he said "Man, my mom is calling me. I gotta run. I can
call u back in a few."

"Damn!" I thought to myself but knew this was the only escape I
had from going to the point of no return. His interruption bought me back
to reality. "Nah, man, I think I'll be going to sleep. We can talk
tomorrow. Let's meet at that arcade we were talking about around one. Is
that ok?" I asked.

"Yeah, that'll be cool. We can do that."

"Cool! Well, I guess I will talk with you tomorrow. Be there at
one o'clock and I'll see you there." I said. "You have my cell if
something comes up, ok?

"Yeah, ok. Zuri, it's been cool talking to you again, man. I
can't wait 'til tomorrow. We gonna have some fun." He said joyfully.

"Yeah, I know. Anyway, you be good and I'll talk with you then.
Good night, buddy," I said.

"Yo, you be good too and have a nice night," He said in the sexiest
voice that I have ever heard.

I hung up with phone and laid there thinking about our conversation and
where it almost led, if his mom hadn't interrupted. Man, my dick was rock
hard and I needed to get off badly. I slid my boxers off and threw them on
the floor next to the bed. I spread my legs open and gently began to play
with my nuts with one hand while I stroked my dick with the other. Nothing
else came to mind but Nick. Fuck, I want him," I thought. I could see
myself laying next to him with my 5'5" frame against his 6'2 massive body.
The more I thought, the more I pumped. I laid back with my eyes closed, my
hands working my dick and nuts and on the verge of shooting a nut like I'd
never experienced before.

"Oh, Nick, yeah, man. Damn, u feel so good, man. I love your
mouth on my dick. Come on, baby, make me feel good." I whispered to
myself in the darkness of my room. I felt the cum boiling in my sack,
ready to shoot like Vesuvius must have felt before blowing. "Ah, yeah, ah,
yeah, ah, yeah, take it Nick." I said between short breaths, and then it
happened. My dick blew. Four or five shots of cum erupted from my
dickhead at least 3 ft in the air. It was so intense. I'd never cum so
hard in my life.

After the bursts of cum subsided to a flow, I laid there for a long while.
I couldn't believe what had happened. I had to catch my breath. I
couldn't move. It felt so good, so right.

After catching my breath I got up and walked over to the dirty clothes
hamper and got a used towel from it and began wiping the cum off of me.
There was so much! I didn't know that a body could make that much at one
time. After cleaning myself off, I got back into bed and stretched out. I
thought of what just happened for a few minutes longer, not allowing myself
to get upset about it or let it bother me. Then, sleep overtook me. I was
out for the count, happy, relaxed and cumless.
