Who killed Bryan Langley?

Characters and possible suspects:

Jerry Campton - We know he and Luke is innocent of the murder as they were
kissing inside the pantry when the murder was committed.

Luke Tate - We found out he and Jerry were in love, and was confessing it
in the pantry during the time the murder took place. Something that Luke's
dad asked him about Bryan's murder made Farrow and Jerry suspicious.

Henry Westerfield - The first person Jerry and Luke ran into after the
power went down. He also told them where the rest of the guys were. We
found out Henry's mom, Rita, and Farrow are good friends, while Henry is
the only person without any alibi.

Tyler Hudson - Hid behind the couch as he is terribly afraid of the
dark. But does that entirely rule him out of murdering Bryan? We also found
out that Tyler gave his parents wedding anniversary a miss to attend the
sleepover.

Matthew Solosis - Farrow asked for his help upstairs with "something" as
his son Jerry was busy in the kitchen, during when the murder took place.

Farrow Campton - Jerry's father, came rushing from the top story when he
heard his son's screams after finding Bryan's body. He emotionally hugged
his son to comfort him, before calling the police. We also found out that
Farrow knew that there was a mobile phone in their trash, with photos of
the dead Bryan, aswell as a video that was filmed right before his death.

Derek and Freddy Madison - The twins were the first to leave the house,
with Derek furious at Jerry and Carone making fun of their mom being a
former Playboy model.

Carone Parker - His parents ordered him to leave with the twins, as he
arrived with them at the sleep over. Neither himself or the twins was
seemingly at the house when Bryan was murdered.

Bryan Langley - Made jokes, laughed with the others, thanked Jerry
personally for the party and even said they should do it more often before
he was found dead after the power came back on.

*Now, on with the story*

Carone stared at his phone after he read and re-read the message that Jerry
had sent him. Bryan had been murdered last night. It had to have happened
after he and the twins went home. As Carone read about what happened, he
immediately thought of a incident that happened the previous week. Carone
didn't wanna believe that Derek or Freddy would have done anything to
Bryan, because they were too tight a group for them to do something to him
just out of spite. But as he was walking over to Jerry's house, he knew
that he had to tell someone, it was weighing way too much on his mind not
to.

"Hey dude, come on in," Jerry said as he opened he door and saw Carone
standing there.

"Are you sure, I mean I could come back another time..." Carone said,
suddenly scared of what had happened in there.

"Dude, there was a murder here, I can't run away from that. If you don't
feel comfortable here, then lets go to your house."

"Nah, its cool, I guess I'll live," Carone gave a small laugh of irony as
Jerry closed the door behind them. They went into the den, and switched on
the TV. Jerry had been in his room all day with Luke, who was taking a nap,
exhausted from the previous night's events. Just as he wanted to ask Carone
if he wanted a Coke or something, Farrow came bursting in from the kitchen
backdoor, holding something in his hands. When he saw Jerry and Carone, he
quickly shoved it underneath his sweatshirt.

"Hey Carone, how's life treating you?"

"Im cool, Mr Campton. Just a bit freaked out at what happened to Bryan."

"Yeah, its a tradgedy isn't it? Anyway, I gotta make a couple of
calls. Jerry, you know where everything is, right?" Farrow said before he
dashed up towards his room and swiftly closed it behind him.

"Whatsup with your dad? He looked a bit out of it..." Carone asked Jerry.

"We are all a bit freaked out, dude. All of us, even my dad had to testify
to the police of where we were when the power went out and when Bryan got
killed. Im telling you, Carone, if it wasn't for the fact that you weren't
here when it happened, I wouldn't have let you in. I don't fucking know who
the hell I can trust!"

"Jeez man, so it was one of the guys that killed Bryan?" Carone asked,
fishing a bit for information.

"Well it had to be! We were the only ones here! Me and Luke were in the
pantry when the lights went off, and the police say that it was about that
time when Bryan was killed, so that rules us out. My father and Matthew can
vouch for eachother allibi's because they fixed the chandelier upstairs at
that time, but Henry and Tyler can't vouch for eachother. They can't say
100% they know where eachother were during the black out."

"Jerry? You for real? Tyler? That dude can't be a killer, especially not in
the dark! You know how he gets!"

"That's his defence, dude. He said he ducked behind the couch when it
happened."

Carone nervously looked around him, still imaging Bryan dancing with them,
drinking Coke and beer that he secretly smugged in, laughing and making
jokes before looking back at Jerry.

"Is there anyone else here except your dad?

"Yeah, Luke is staying here tonight, but he's asleep upstairs. Why?"

"I have something to tell you, about what happened. You remember last week,
Derek and Freddy were at eachother's throats all the time but they wouldn't
tell us why?" Jerry nodded, sitting himself down opposite Carone.

"Well, before we came here last night, Derek finally told me what was up
between them. They had a terrible fight, so bad that their dad had to come
and separate them. It was after Freddy had been caught sleeping with
Derek's girlfriend, Larisha."

"What? Why the fucking hell would he do that to his own brother? Even worse
because they're twins! And why didn't they tell us?" Jerry asked, very
confused. But Carone wasn't done yet.

"Last night, as we were waiting for Freddy to join us in the car, Derek
vowed that he would have killed Freddy if their dad didn't stop them, in
the mood that he was in that day when he found them. He said Larisha
wouldn't allow him to have sex with her, and yet he found his brother
fucking the living shit out of her. You remember it has always hurt Derek
that Freddy had a bigger cock than him? The two had patched up their
differences though when their father forced them to talk things through.

"Well dude, im sorry for Derek, but why are you telling me this?" Jerry
wondered, thinking that there HAD to be more around this somehow.

Carone once more looked around and upwards nervously, before he continued:
"That's not all, Jerry. Then it was found out that Derek's supposed
girlfriend was not just cheating on him with Freddy, but with a number of
other boys in school. Yeah she is a real slut, dude. But...and this is the
most unbelievable of all...Freddy told me last night that Bryan was one of
the boys she slept with!"

"What the fuck??" Jerry yelled, unable to stop himself. "Bryan had also
slept with Larisha? Does Derek know about it?"

"I don't think so, Freddy said no. I then asked Freddy it he was going to
tell Derek, because Bryan was also here at the sleepover, and his words
were: "Dude, if Derek knew one of his best friends slept with his girl, he
would fucking slice them apart."

The two friends saw eachother's eyes widen as the full reality of what was
being devulged was setting in. Jerry stood up and took a walk to the
kitchen. He opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water, before
gulping it down. He spilt some on the floor and on his clothes, but he
didn't care. He finally finshed the bottle, emptying the last few drops on
his face, which had become unbearingly hot. He turned around to see Carone
with his hands behind his neck.

"Carone, think about what Freddy said....slice them apart...Dude, Bryan was
stabbed numerous times before he died. Do you think...?"

"I know one thing Jerry. They dropped me off at home, and where they went
from there, I don't know."

"Dude, you have to tell the police. If Freddy had somehow told Derek about
Bryan sleeping with Larisha, and he came back and killed him...?

"Then we would have heard him come in."

Both Carone and Jerry's faces turned towards the kitchen door, where they
saw a sleepy looking Luke stare back at them. He walked towards the empty
water bottle, walked over to the sink and filled it up.

"Dude, I was there when you locked the doors after the twins and Carone
went home. It was just us inside the house, along with your dad. There was
no way that Derek could have come back into the house."

"Luke, but what Carone is saying is just too important to just let go! This
could be a big lead!" Jerry stressed.

"I just thought I had to tell someone, Jerry. No one is gonna believe Derek
killed Bryan just because his brother said he would! That doesn't mean he
actually did it!"

"Dudes...I've just thought of something...what if Derek did find out, but
asked one of the guys to murder Bryan for him?" Luke said, his face pailing
as he did so.

"You really think either Matthew, Tyler, Henry or Derek would go that far?"
Carone asked.

"Think about it...nobody else came into the house because everything was
locked, and even if they did, one of us would have heard it. Say Derek knew
Bryan slept with Larisha...he could have planned on going home, knowing
that someone here would stay around and take revenge on Bryan!"

"I think you have been reading too many murder mystery stories, dude,"
Jerry said with a laugh.

"I have an idea...but its gonna need a lot of work and genuine acting
skills. Jerry, you stay here. Carone, come with me. Don't worry Jerry,
we'll be back in an hour or so." And with that, Luke grabbed a confused
Carone and dragged him away from a equally confused Jerry, before shutting
the door behind them.

"What the fuck just happened?" Luke wondered before opening the full bottle
of water and gulping it down once more. This situation was getting freakier
at the minute!

Meanwhile, Farrow was in his room, calling a number of people, desperately
wanting help to cover this problem.

"I understand that, but I have no real evidence to prove that! I didn't
mean it THAT way when I said I wanted to get rid if him, you fool! Well, I
knew I had to keep a watch out on him, but...So there is no way you can
help me cover this up? Well, then don't come blaming me when your entire
plan goes down the drain!" he hissed before slamming the phone down. He
layed back on his bed, once more relieving that happened the previous
evening...

He came down into the den, looking for his son.

"Sorry to bother you guys, but I need Jerry for something quickly."

"Oh he's in the kitchen getting us some food and drinks, can one of us help
you maybe?" Derek asked.

"Okay, thanks...Matthew, you're the tallest, care to give me a hand?"

"Sure, Mr Campton. Hey, don't start the movie without me!" he yelled as
they made our way upwards. Before we got to the top of the stairs, Farrow
heard Bryan call him.

"Mr Campton, can I use your toilet, please? After all those Cokes I gotta
piss like a racehorse!"

"Haha anytime, Bryan. You know where it is, yeah?"

"Sure Sir."

Farrow and Matthew had fixed the chandelier when they heard a noise, which
sounded like a scream coming from the bathroom.

"Jeez has Bryan gotten stuck in the toilet or what?" Farrow laughed.

"Wouldn't be the first time. I'll go check on him, Mr Campton."

Farrow switched on the chandelier to check if it was working properly, then
took out his reading glasses, and tested his eyes on the book that he was
reading, to see if the new light was doing its job. He had just layed
himself down on the bed and started to read when Matthew knocked on the
door.

"He's fine Sir. Just had one hell of a crap he needed to get out!"

"Haha, he actually had the nerve to tell you that?

"No, actually Jerry did. He was on his way back from the bathroom himself."

Jerry opened his eyes to the present hour...he looked at the phone which he
found in the trash with those pictures and video of Bryan on it. He closed
his eyes and prayed that what he suspected to be true, wouldn't be. It just
COULD NOT be true.

The doorbell rang again, and this time it was just Luke which Jerry let in.

"Where's Carone?" he asked.

"Had to baby sit his little brother. Anyway, here it is!" Luke said before
throwing two documents onto the coffee table. Jerry quickly sat down to
take a better look, and then he frowned at his best friend.

"Where the hell did you get these report cards and statements?"

"From Mrs Playboy model herself, the twins's mom! She's so fucking dilly
she would have let me fuck her right then and there! Only joking jeez..."
he said when he saw the look his boyfriend gave him.

"Anyway, me and Carone lied to her and told her that the twins asked us to
collect it for them, but they didn't tell us why!

"Motherfucker...she believed you?"

"Dude, you should have been there, she was putty in our hands. Luckily she
remembered us."

"Mmm, so what are these supposed to tell us?"

"Dude, you remember what Derek said why they couldn't stay longer?"

"Uhm...let me think..."

"Derek said that their mom wanted them home early because of their bad
report cards! Well dude, check these, and tell me what you see."

After Jerry spent a good 5 minutes going through them both, his mouth
opened wide in shock and he looked quickly over to Luke.

"The twins had past every single subject with fucking flying colours..." he
whispered.

"Exactly! They were fucking lying! If they were lying about that, then mybe
my theory isn't so farfetch'd as you and Carone think!" Luke said, his
heart beating super fast in excitement.

"So you think Derek or Freddy, or even both, told one of the guys to kill
Bryan? But why would anyone endanger them like that?" Jerry asked, his
hands shaking.

"That's the only thing I don't know. But I get the feeling that we're on to
something here, Jerry. They lied about why they had to leave early...both
Derek and Freddy had a motive! It all makes sence!

As Jerry and Luke were talking and speculating, Derek and Freddy had just
come home from the gym. Derek opened the fridge and tossed a Gatorade over
at his brother. Just then their mom entered the kitchen with a worried look
on her face.

"Have you boys seen the newspaper this morning? Isn't Bryan Langley one of
your friends at school?"

"Mom, please keep up, we have been friends with him for nearly 10 years!"
Derek laughed and stuck his tongue out at his mother.

"Well, then I've got some sad news for you guys...he was found dead last
night!"

"What?" Derek screamed as he ran over to his mom, grabbing the paper from
her.

"Jeepers...he was killed inside...oh my gosh, he was killed inside Jerry's
house last night! No fucking way...Freddy! Come look at this!"

Freddy was still drinking his Gatorade when he saw what Derek was making a
fuss about. He gently took the paper and started reading calmly as Derek
was going beserk.

"I bet it happened right after we left! Jeez! It could have been one of us,
dude!" he shouted at his brother. Freddy however, put the paper down and
walked over to Derek.

"There wasn't a chance that it would have been one of us, bro. That I can
promise you..." he said before walking to his room. Derek was too shocked
at Bryan's death to completely take in what Freddy had just said.

Back in his room Freddy picked up his Blackberry and went into his BBM. He
then chose a certain contact and started to type.

"Just read it in the paper. Well done, dude."

He placed his phone on his night stand as he started to undress, getting
ready to wash the filthy sweat off him from the gym. Just before he could
leave the room, his Blackberry peeped. He picked it up and read.

"Wasn't easy, you owe me."

Freddy deleted the messages before closing the door behind him.
