Gilgamesh

Part 6

By Bald Hairy Man e-mail bldhrymn@aol.com or bldhrymn@yahoo.com

By the end of the night Esaw and Solon were men. They were young, but
became devoted to me as well as Davidal and Hulcegal. Taken away from their
families, they found love with us. All was well in my palace.

While all was well in Urak, the threats from Lagash grew. My spies were
everywhere and reports were grave. The new king was killing his enemies
and their families. Other opponents fled.

While this insured the new king's power, Hilgal was pleased. "He sits
firmly on the throne, but his enemies multiply. Each murder is like the
sperm in the womb of the Devil's bitch," he said. "Gilgamesh of Urak, you
must become Gilgamesh the Merciful."

Wise was Hilgal. I followed his counsel.

My own plans to build alliances went well too. I married a sister to the
oldest son of the King of Ur and another to the King of Gudea. My metal
workers made new armor of bronze for my army and polished the breast plates
to a mirror like shine. The parades and exercises in front of the city
walls were dazzling. The lightning like flashes of the armor and the war
cries of my soldiers were awe inspiring.

Watching them, I realized you couldn't tell how many men were before me.
Amid the flashes you could have easily mistaken them for twice as many
men. I knew Lagash had spies watching. I hoped they inflated their
reports.

Several weeks later Hilgal came to me. "I have found a refugee from
Lagash. You might want to meet him." This was unusual and I knew there
must have been a reason to meet the refugee. Many such men filled Urak.
This man was different. Hilgal said he would bring the man by my quarters
after dark.

That night, Hilgal and Gilgal returned with a filthy beggar. When I spoke
to the man, he spoke with the accent of Lagash. "Who are you?" I asked.

"I am Samson, son of Lagash," he replied. The man responded proudly and
insolently refused to look at me. I knew he was lying. The king and his
family had been murdered.

"Bow before the king," Gilgal demanded.

"What king?" the man responded. Gilgal took a torch and held it so
illuminated my face. The man did not react. Gilgal moved the torch toward
the man's face. The man had no eyes. They had been gouged out and hadn't
healed yet. It had happened recently.

"I am Gilgamesh," I said. The man looked confused. He bowed his head.

"Greetings, Great Gilgamesh," he said. "My father spoke of you as an
honorable man and the son of an honorable man. "You could be trusted" he
told me." I knew this was indeed the son of Lagash. To be the son of an
honorable man was the title used by the king in his letters.

"Welcome to my palace," I said. "Gilgal, take this man to the baths and
treat him as is fitting for a mistreated prince. Get the healer to look at
his wounds. I will join you." Gilgal took him away.

"How did you find him?" I asked Hilgal.

"His enemies abandoned him in the wilderness, left to die after they
blinded him," Hilgal said. "I don't know why he wasn't killed outright."

"The oldest son of the king was the High Priest of the Sun," I said. "Who
does the new king worship?"

Hilgal smiled. "He is the leader of the Sun Clan," he said. "You are wise,
Gilgamesh." I left and joined Gilgal and Samson in the bath. I found them
with Enkidu in the bath chamber. Sampson was a brave man and seeing him
naked made it clear he was a strong man. He looked uncertain. Slipping on
the wet floor, Enkidu caught him.

"Fear not," Enkidu said. "You are with friends."

"How do I know that?" Samson asked, bitterly.

"You are a guest in the house of Gilgamesh," Gilgal said. "No harm will
come to you." Enkidu picked up Samson and carried him into the pool.

"Are you giants?" Samson asked.

Enkidu laughed. "You are with one giant." He glanced over to be, "Two
giants. The water is warm. It will feel good." He gently lowered the man
into the water. The flickering light of a torch only dimly illuminated the
room. Even in the dim light I could see the man was bruised and beaten.

Enkidu was like a mother with an injured child. Samson must have felt the
affection. He relaxed and let Enkidu wash him. The healer came. He had
salves and ointments and covered Samson's wounds. My healer knew much
about herbs and spices. I could watch the pain drain from Samson's body.
Enkidu carried the man to our bed. Samson fell asleep.

He slept through dawn and woke when the sun was high. I had Gilgal's son,
Bilgal, watch him. After the morning audiences I went to my quarters and
found Samson and Bilgal talking. In the daylight, Samson was strong and
powerful, handsome except his mutilated face. Priests of the Sun never cut
their hair, since their hair was plentiful as the rays of the sun.
Samson's hair had been hacked off.

Servants brought in food and we ate. Bilgal fed Samson. He told the story
of the murder of his father and the queen. He did not mention his own
misfortune. "Humbaba must die!" Samson proclaimed.

"Who is Humbaba?" Bilgal asked.

"He is the dog who murdered my Father and Mother. He is a thief and an
outlaw. He is a monster. The people are terrified of him," Samson
replied. I had heard of Humbaba. The farmers on the northern parts of my
kingdom sang songs about him. They sang of a devil without mercy; a man who
would kill for a bit of food; a man who would betray his closest friends
for the smallest advantage. I didn't know this was the new king.

"I have my own monster," I said, "the wild man, Enkidu."

"Enkidu is only a story told by peasants," Samson said.

I laughed. "Enkidu carried you into the bath last night," I said. "You
slept in his bed." As I said that, Enkidu entered.

"The wild man is here," he bellowed. He picked up Samson again and took him
to the bath. The healer returned and applied his salves again. I went to
watch my army.

AR-ron and Hilgal stood with me as I watched the army. "To defile a priest
is an abomination," Ar-ron said, "a great desecration, the gods will be
enraged."

"Do the gods of Urak care what the gods of Lagash feel?" I asked.

"They all live in the same sky," Ar-ron said. "If they defile their own
gods, how will they treat ours?" Ar-ron made sense. "For you to treat the
priest of the sun with due honor would please all the gods," Ar-ron
added. Hilgal listened to our conversation and looked pleased.

When I returned to the palace, I had audiences for the rest of the
afternoon. They were property disputes, nasty, but complex. It was late
then I returned to my quarters. The servants told me Enkidu had taken
Samson to meet Ar-ron. I ate and went to bed.

In the middle of the night, I woke and found Enkidu and Samson in bed with
me. I reached over and felt a cock, then began to suck it. I was only
partly awake. After sucking for a while I realized it was Samson, not
Enkidu. I tried to pull away but a large hand held me. Samson's cock was
not as large as Enkidu's, but his juices had begun to flow. They were thick
and sweet.

"Suck him, taste his juices," Enkidu whispered. I was surprised Enkidu
wanted me to eat Samson's seed. Samson moaned as his cock twitched. I
slowed and let him calm down. I licked the edge of the cock head, where the
skin joins his member. I tried to take the entire organ in my mouth, but
before I could do that his cock twitched again and flooded my mouth. It
was a true flood. As his cock continued to spurt his seed, I knew his balls
must have stored weeks or months of seed. There had been no outlet for his
man juices until my mouth caressed his cock. "Thank you Enkidu," Samson
murmured.

"You have fed the god Gilgamesh, my friend," Enkidu replied. "Your seed
will join his. He will avenge the wrong done to you and your people." When
Enkidu said that, Samson's cock spurted more seed. His member continued to
spurt and drool until he fell asleep, but Enkidu came over.. He said,
"Thank you," Then he drained my balls.

I fell asleep. When I woke, Enkidu was gone, but Samson was awake. If he
had eyes, he would have been a handsome man, with a thick, curly black
beard and broad chest. I helped him get up and took him to the bath. It
was odd to be with a man who was blind. I had never encountered such a man
before. Helping him into the bath, he touched my body. He moved his hands
all over by body.

"You are a god?" he asked.

"My people think that," I said.

"Is Enkidu a god too?"

"I am not sure. He is a wild man and my best friend," I replied. "He is
perhaps a god of the beasts?" Samson's hands had reached my cock. He felt
my member then cupped my bull balls. He leaned close to my cock.

"It is large," Samson said. I took my cock and rubbed his lips with it. He
opened his mouth and took it into his mouth. He licked my cock head
carefully. The prince was careful, not vigorous like Enkidu. "I have never
done this before," he said, as he took my cock into his mouth again. After
a few moments he was beginning to enjoy my cock. As my cock grew, so did
his.

As he sucked, I could feel his enthusiasm grow. He was a big, impressive
man, but he treated my cock as a sacred object. He loved my cock and he had
no problem taking my seed. I went to the morning audiences, but asked
Bilgal to be his eyes.

After the usual supplicants, Ar-ron came to see me. He asked to see Samson
and I gave him permission. With him was my armorer. The day was filled
with audiences and an inspection tour of the city walls. At the end of the
tour I had a banquet with my soldiers. I promoted new officers and gave
honors to some older men. It was a great festival with the families of the
new men joining in the festivities. Two bulls were slaughtered and all
were dazzled by my generosity.

Returning to the palace, I found Ar-ron, Samson and Enkidu talking. "A
blind man is nothing, an abomination," Samson said. "Less than a dog. My
family is murdered, my friends killed."

"Even blind, you will be a better king than Humbaba!" Ar-ron cried. "You
have greeted the Sun for years. You cannot see the sun, but you can feel
its life-giving warmth."

"I am the man of the beasts. I feel when an animal is hurt and must die,"
Enkidu said. "You are a powerful man. The loss of your eyes is as a
scratch on the side of a Leviathan."

"We can find you new eyes," I said. "Bilgal would serve you willingly. I
will give you concubines. Your balls are full of seed. Your cock is hard
as bronze. Your family is dead only if you wish it to be. You can have
many sons and daughters."

"You must come with me to the temple. Tomorrow we will greet the Sun and
ask his guidance," Ar-ron said. Ar-ron rose and helped Samson to his feet.
Bilgal appeared from behind a column and the three men left.

"You are a god, mighty Gilgamesh," Enkidu said. "You are so great. You
can show mercy and love to the blind." He came over to me and kissed me.
"I feel Samson will be a good friend and a great man," he continued. "You
see that as clearly as it do, do you not?" I nodded. We talked quietly.

In the moonlight we saw a figure at the large pool in the courtyard. I was
a full moon , and in the bright light I saw it was Esaw. Hulcegal was the
night guard this evening and Esaw was alone. I called him over.

"Join us, it is a beautiful evening," I said. He came over slowly.

"Sit between us," Enkidu said. "If it gets cold, we will keep you warm."
Esaw was naked as is normal for a man at night in the summer.

"I'm just a boy. I shouldn't sit with great men, like you," he said.

"Part of you is already a man," Enkidu said as he fondled Esaw's genitals.
"The rest of your body isn't far behind. "Your balls are already full of
seed."

His cock was hard and the length of a man's hand. It was curved like the
bow or an arrow. He sat between us and shivered a little. A cool wind was
blowing from the north.

"Sit with me, I will keep you warm," Enkidu said. The boy seemed afraid.
Enkidu laughed.

"I have only been with Hulcegal," Esaw said.

"Let us all stay warm," Enkidu said. We went to bed with Esaw between us
and we all were warm. When I woke in the morning, Hulcegal was with us.
