(Again forgive the typos. I will spend time proofreading. Hopefully there
will be fewer. However, I have no doubt that the dangling and misplaced
modifiers and grammatical mistakes will continue. But let's get serious
here Ð I do not get paid to post here and you do not pay to read my
story. So, let's try to enjoy ourselves despite my mistakes.)

You might wonder why I decided to change emails and close down JoshRJosh.

I've been getting negative emails for a while. And by that I don't mean
criticism about my writing abilities. I can handle that. I know my
limitations and accept them.

Aaron has not read this story and he will not read this story, nor will he,
my fiancŽe who you know as Aaron. write any part of this story.

However, we have talked about my story at length. Actually, it was his
idea that I start writing. Since many of you now know the trajectory of
the plot, he suggested the character Aaron be given a voice, giving the
story a new twist. Once the story begins again, I will be the voice of
Aaron. He has given me permission to use his experiences and fictionalize
what I want.

But before I do that, my real fiancŽe wants me to include something. So
let me introduce you to him by letting him speak before we get back into
the story.

Some of you may know me as Aaron from a story written by Josh titled
A Brothers Love, which I have not been allowed to read. He tells me that
it was last posted on April 9, 2016. He decided to abandon the story and
his many faithful readers after receiving many repellent emails.
Unfortunately, we sometimes find ourselves confronted by people who
find it more reasonable to deride and threaten others rather than give
praise and support. After many emails from readers who enjoyed his story
and a long discussion with me, he has decided to further his efforts in
storytelling. (Josh insists there is a difference between writers and
storytellers. He counts himself amongst the latter.)
My first suggestion was that he might write a new story that was pure
fiction. He immediately balked, arguing for his lack of imagination. Josh
and I have had arguments. Yes, we are just like any married couple. After
I received my Master's, we argued about whether or not I should apply for
acceptance into the PhD program. I was convinced that I was not capable of
doing the work and argued the point. The argument finally ended. As we
always do, we made up before going to bed. The next morning I found a note
on our refrigerator that remains there today. It was left by Josh and it
read: Argue for your limitations and they become yours. I'm certainly not
talented enough to convince you otherwise.
Of course he won the argument with that choice bit of wisdom. I
applied and was accepted. But what goes around comes around. And on
several occasions I've moved his note from the side of the refrigerator to
the door. And Josh, being who he is, yells across the kitchen, "Yeah,
yeah, yeah. Fuck you and your horse."
It has taken every ounce of mental energy to curb my curiosity not to
read A Brother's Love. But hearing that it is over 600 pages long and
knowing Josh as I do, it was hard for me to accept `lack of imagination' as
a reason. However, I know Josh. Trying to convince him of something he
holds to with such certitude only makes him dig in his heels. If you ever
want to find a picture of Josh, look up the word obdurate in the
dictionary.
Trying to encourage his return to the story, I suggested that he
stretch by giving Aaron a voice. His first concern was that he would not
know how to view life through `my eyes'. And this is from a man who barks
at me when we argue: I know what you're thinking/feeling/going to say. I
said, "That's what writers do - sorry storytellers. They get to know their
protagonist(s) and then bring his/her inner world to life." Before he
began his story, I had convinced him that the first step in storytelling
was to write from experience. The next step was to write from someone
else's experience Ð Imagine what that person would feel/think/do/say in
any given situation.
I do not know what Josh has said about himself in his story, but his
natural inclination in any situation he approaches for the first time is to
doubt his abilities, especially when he feels a pressure to perform. His
parents actively nurtured this in his brother and him. (Encourage
self-doubt and then ask God for the power to perform. Then your success is
His.) However, his anxieties do not stop him. Once he `gets his feet wet'
off he goes. Also, I am convinced that competitive swimming was a great
outlet for him. It was where he could prove to himself that he was not
what his father accused him of being Ð a fraud. And although I do not
understand why it is the way it is, without that outlet he has felt a need
to be creative. Perhaps they are one in the same needs.
What is also important to know about Josh is that he is an athletic
nerd. Inwardly, he is the socially awkward nerdy math and science geek
with the shirt pocket liner and pens. But he is also the stunningly
handsome college jock who sits in the classes that I TA and who writes
run-on sentences, misplaces modifiers and makes grammatical and spelling
mistakes that make me want to scream. He dragged me through high school
and college math and sciences classes, rolling his eyes when I pleaded,
`maybe one more time; after his fifth attempt at explaining what the
difference was between a dependent and independent variable or the
structure of a hydrocarbon.
There is much I could say about Josh, but he is going to read this
and will edit out anything that sounds like I am `fawning over him'. His
brother and I have often said to him that one of his worst qualities is
that he is impervious to praise (Yeah, yeah, whatever) and yet spongelike
to criticism (I can't believe I fucking did/said that). One of his best
qualities is that he is generous of heart with those he loves.
Josh just called out from his desk, "Wait. These guys had to have
been reading the story for a while because I don't really mention you for
several chapters. I was saving you until the story got going. I didn't
want them to guess that we'd be together. If they're so offended by all of
this why did they keep reading?"
I said, "Crazy people do crazy things."

Okay, so that was Aaron's two cents. From now on, in this story, the Aaron
speaking will be me, putting myself in his place and speaking as I think he
would. By the way, he hasn't read the emails. I've just described them
to him.

But it was so many emails like this that help me decide to continue:

I never write to authors about their stories, but if you have not shut
down this email yet I hope you get read this one. I was very sad for
you after reading your personal statements at the end of the last chapter.
I am in my late sixties and have seen much hate in this world, but there is
so much more love out there than hate. Hate just glows brighter for
everyone to see, while love is a warm peaceful glow. From what you
wrote I assume you are still very young, so do not let the haters (even
within the gay community) make you jaded. Life is so full of beautiful
moments and people who really care. Enjoy those moments, enjoy those
people and forget all the rest as they really do not matter in this world.
They are "butt" hemorrhoids on the road of life.

Thank you all for your supportive emails.

But let's put that all behind us.

Back to the story and no more DRAMA.

A Brother's love (2) part Thirty-three

We all felt so much pride watching David graduate Summa Cum Laude. My
grandfather was beaming. I had a lump in my throat knowing that at some
level he wished he had parents attending. Maybe not our parents, but
parents we wished we had.

We all went out to dinner to celebrate David and Tina and sing their
praises.

Soon the families left and we went back to our lives. David and I worked
at the YMCA. David and Tina moved into their new apartment. David was
also taking a graduate class. Aaron and David joined me for my early
morning workouts. The coach was happy to have him in the pool instructing
me and I no longer felt any resistance to his tutorship. Aaron had signed
up for another creative writing class and a class in Modern American
Poetry.

My summer was working and the YMCA, working out in the pool and in the
weight room.

By the end of the summer, I felt that I was swimming better than I had swum
before and David agreed. We swam beside each other and swam hard. Once
classes started I would be swimming with the team and not with David.
Standing in the locker room showers the week before, I said to David,
"Thank you." I felt my throat tightening around my words. "You're always
there to help me be better."

He smiled. "Likewise."

My junior year was going to be tougher than my freshman and sophomore
years. No electives and no classes with Aaron. I was taking a chemistry
class, a biochemistry class and a genetics class and a math class. David
could help me with the math class, but other than that I was on my own.

I had made several friends who were also chemistry majors and with whom I
had studied in the past. On the first day of classes several of us got
together and formed study groups. They knew I was on the swim team and
worked around my schedule. I felt somewhat relieved, since I traveled to
away meets and I would be missing Friday classes.

Our first meet was at home. The coach had me in the 200 M Backstroke, the
200 M Butterfly and on the senior 4x50 Medley Relay. He told me that he
might change it up a bit, but I should get accustomed to that race
schedule.

I didn't sleep well the night before our first meet.

My stomach ached all day.

		* * * * *

We were sitting in the stands watching the meet. They had just called the
50 M Backstroke. Josh's race would be called next. "He's nervous," I said
to Tina. "He was really restless last night. Kept tossing and turning and
kicking."

David was sitting beside her. He glanced at me. "It's weird sitting here
watching. I'm use to being poolside."

The race was over. UX took second and third. They called the 200 M
Backstroke. I watched as Josh walked the length of the pool.

"He's very nervous," I said. David nodded.

Tina said, "How can you tell?"

I pointed toward him as he slowly walked to the edge of the pool, "When
he's nervous, he stares downward and he rubs his stomach. Watch." The
three of us watched him. "There see. He just pressed his hand into his
stomach."

"I never noticed that," Tina said.

I remembered the first time I saw him do that. It was the first day I met
him.

I was short and skinny for my age. My birthday was also just before the
cut off date to start kindergarten. So, much to my parents delight, I
started school early. My parents were liberal minded, college educated,
upper middle class, hippy throwbacks. Their teenage years were during the
early eighties but they longed for the sixties. I was raised seeing my
parents swim naked in our backyard pool. I don't remember wearing a
bathing suit until I invited my best friend, Josh, to our house to swim.
And I grew up with a strange odor that emanated from my parents' bedroom.

Being an only child, I received a lot of love and attention from my
parents. Both of them were readers. We had only one TV in our house and
that was in the downstairs den and it was only turned on to watch the news
or a sporting event. Instead of television, I had books. My mother tells
me that she started to read to me before I could walk and started teaching
me to read when I was four years old.

Keeping with their hippy, nudist, pot smoking way of life, neither of them
was religious. Unlike other kids who knelt by their bed to pray, when I
was a child, every night after either my mom of dad read with me, they
would have me look out the window of my bedroom, search the sky and recite
the poem, `Star light, Star bright'.

"Close your eyes," one of them would say as I got under the covers, "and
make a wish."

And I did.

I sailed through kindergarten and first grade until it came to math.
Reading was fun. Numbers? Math? What the fuck was with addition and
subtraction?

Some of my friends Ð Devon, Alex, Nate and Danny - had a better time
with math than I did, but I was far and away the best in reading.

The first day back from Christmas break, Mrs. Lindstrom, my first grade
teacher stood before the class and announced that we had a new boy joining
our class.

"Class," she said, "I want you to welcome Joshua to our class."

He looked up at her and said, "Josh."

Mrs. Lindstrom glanced at Josh's mother who nodded. "Okay, he likes to be
called Josh."

"Welcome, Josh," everyone called out.

She glanced around the class. "Aaron, why don't you take Josh around and
introduce him to everyone."

I walked up to the front of the class. I was happy to see that he was no
taller than me and perhaps even skinnier. As I approached him, he grabbed
onto his mother's hand. She immediately pulled away. He glanced up at her
and then at me. I saw tears in his eyes.

I put out my hand. "Hi, I'm Aaron. We can be friends."

He stepped back, grabbed his mother's leg and began to cry.

There were chuckles from the other kids.

"Children," Mrs. Lindstrom called out. "Josh is in a strange place." She
bend down and said to him. "It will be okay. You can wait to meet the
other children. Right now why don't you just sit at Aaron's desk with
him."

It took a lot of coaxing, but eventually he sat beside me at my desk and
watched as his mother left the classroom. He sat there and pressed his
hand into his stomach as he bent forward.

"Does your tummy hurt," I said.

He nodded. "It feels like I'm scared."

I saw tears in his eyes. I said, "It's okay. You just stay with me."

At lunch I introduced him to Devon, Alex, Nate and Kevin. He kept glancing
around the cafeteria. Then he spotted someone and waved. A bigger boy
came up to us and said, "Hey Buddy, how are you doing?"

"I want to go home."

"In a while. I'll get you this afternoon."

Josh sighed as the boy walked away.

"Who is that?" I asked.

"My brother, David. He's in the third grade."

Weeks later, he relaxed into being my friend. Academically, we were a
perfect pair. He could go though a page of adding single numbers while I
struggled trying to count on my fingers. So he helped me with math and I
helped him with reading.

I said to David as Josh stood at the edge of the pool. "He never looks at
the crowd." David shook his head. We watched him jump into the pool and
get into position. This would be his first race of the year.

The buzzer sounded. My body tingled all over. I held my breath. He
settled into a fast and steady pace. At the first 100 meters he was barely
ahead of their best swimmer. I glanced at David. He said, "He's got this.
Watch."

I breathed out loudly, nodded and turned my attention back to the pool.
Tina grabbed my arm. He approached his last turn. He was a foot or so
ahead. He made his last turn. We stood. Tina began to scream, "Go, Josh,
Go."

I stood, watched and swallowed hard. He seemed to be moving faster. David
said to Tina, "There it is."

He seemed to be effortlessly gliding through the water. While everyone
else saw a young man in a swimmer's cap, goggles and a pair of Speedos, I
saw him naked as if he were lying asleep in our bed. He looked beautiful.
He was the first to hit the wall. Everyone around us cheered and
applauded. Connor leaned in and said, "He seems so much faster. Is he?"

I pointed at the board as I watched Josh pull himself out of the pool. I
knew he hadn't looked at the board yet. He wouldn't until he took several
steps along the length of the pool. This is where David would use his
fingers to signal Josh's place in the race. I knew David was thinking the
same thing. I saw Josh glance up and then stare at the board.

I said to Connor, "He took over two seconds off his best time from last
year."

"Wow. That's good? Right?"

I nodded and smiled. I watched Josh disappear into the area where the
swimmers wait. David looked at me and said, "He's going to the toilets."

I nodded.

Tina said, "Why?"

"Butterfly is next for him and the toilet is one of the few places he can
be alone. He worries he's going to throw up, but he never does."

They called the 25 M Breaststroke. The guys stood behind the blocks and
waited. The 100 M Breaststroke would be next.

"David," I said when I noticed Josh step out. I pointed. "Is he swimming
the breaststroke?"

David stared. "No. That guy he's talking with is swimming the 100
breast."

"Who is he?"

"Hunter. He's a sophomore. I don't think he raced last year. Josh has
been helping him out." David glanced at me. "I heard he gets really
anxious. I guess Josh is talking him down."

I nodded and watched them talking and then watched Josh disappear again.
Hunter took a third in his race.

When they called the 200 M Butterfly, my stomach churned. This was the
race that he was expected to do well in, but it was the race he dreaded the
most. He walked the pool length with his hands on his hips and stared at
the ground.

Tina said to David, "How's he been doing?"

"Great. Now I fight to keep up with him."

I heard her sigh loudly. She glanced at me. "You look more nervous than
him."

"No. I'm just hoping he does well."

She chuckled.

The buzzer sounded. He looked late off the blocks.

		* * * * *

Fuck, I screamed to myself. Late! Okay, put it aside. Swim your race or
you'll fuck up your turn. I went into and came out of my turn feeling
good. I tried to clear my mind and let my body do its thing. All I had
was my training. I fell into a rhythm and imagined David swimming behind
me. Move your ass. This isn't the time to take a nap. That's the
100. Pick it up.

I swam hard. The plan was to come out of the last turn and then kick it
into high. Being late off the blocks was haunting me. With 50 M left, I
gave it everything I had. I made my turn and headed to the wall.

I touched it and took a deep breath. After a few seconds I turned to my
right and then my left and said, "Nice race."

As I pulled myself out of the pool it hit me again that David wasn't there
to give me one or two fingers. Or would it be three, I wondered. I
glanced at the coach. He nodded and smiled. I took a breath and looked up
at the board. I had taken first place. And my time was better than when I
beat David.

"Hey," Hunter said. "Nice."

"Thank you. You did well, too."

"Third."

"Third is great. You're a fucking sophomore swimming against seniors."

"My dad won't be happy." We sat down on the edge of the Jacuzzi. He was
waiting to swim in the 50 M freestyle and then the freestyle relay. "They
came to watch me race."

"Talk to the coach."

"Why?

"I'm sure he'd love to meet your parents. He'll talk you up."

He smiled and nodded.

Hunter took another third in the freestyle, which I thought was really
good. Jeremy, who was a senior, was our best freestyler this year, took
first place. I swam the freestyle leg of the Medley Relay.

Aaron, Tina, David and Connor were waiting for me outside the swim center.
David pulled me into a hug, kissed my neck and mussed my hair. "You
fucking kicked ass," he said.

"I fucked up. I was late off the blocks. I almost went off early, pulled
back and the buzzer went off."

Tina hugged me. Aaron smiled and pulled me into a hug. He said, "I know
it wasn't but you make it look so easy. You looked great."

Connor put out his hand. I pulled him into a hug. "Good to see you," I
said.

We all went out to dinner, including Connor. He had been dating someone
the year before but that ended because the guy insisted that he come out to
his parents. Connor wasn't ready. That ended the relationship.

I liked Connor and so did Aaron. He seemed painfully shy, unsure of
himself and still lived in a single room in the dorms. He had been running
with us, and started lifting weights with Aaron when I couldn't make it to
the center.

We didn't go out dancing after dinner. I had to get some sleep and get up
early to catch up on my studies. After making love, we lay in bed. We
seem often to find ourselves wrapped around each other in the same way with
Aaron on his back and me with my arm over his stomach and my head on his
chest. He ran his hand through my hair and said, "When you were doing the
backstroke, I imagined you naked in the pool."

I laughed. "You're weird." He chuckled. I said, "Did you get wood?" He
laughed. I put my hand on his cock and balls.

"What do you know about that guy, Hunter?"

I lifted my head and glanced at him. "What's this about? You're not going
to get weird are you?"

"Weird? No."

"He's just a guy. He seems kind of skittish and shy." I rested my head on
his chest. "I really don't know much about him. Why?"

"Connor noticed him and thought he was hot."

"He is hot in a kind of boyish way, but I don't know if he's gay or
straight." I thought for a moment. "He's never mentioned a girlfriend."
I paused. "Never mentioned anything about anyone except his parents."

"Connor never says anything about anyone. I just thought,"

"I'll keep an ear open."

The next week we traveled. When we got off the bus, Hunter came up to me
and said, "I hope you don't mind, but I asked to room with you. The coach
said he had you with Jeremy, but I should talk to you."

"Oh, okay. But I should talk to Jeremy."

Jeremy and I had become friends at the end of the last season and had been
working out together. He was a senior, a friend of David's and straight.
He swam freestyle. We had talked about rooming together.

"I already asked him. He said if you were cool, he was."

We had dinner and then went to our rooms. I stripped down to my boxer
briefs, threw a towel on the floor, sat on it and started to stretch. "I
always get so tight sitting for so long."

He sat across from me and stretched. I noticed him glance at me. I said,
"What's up?"

He sighed. "So, I know you're gay."

I nodded. "It's not a secret." I felt a twinge in my stomach. "Everyone
knows I have a boyfriend."

"I know. Aaron."

I stared at him. "Okay."

He sighed. "The coach said I could talk to you."

"You're gay?"

He nodded. "I haven't told anyone."

"No one?"

He shook his head. "I mean I told the coach."

"You told no one and you decided to tell him?"

"He called me into this office. He said that I wasn't swimming up to my
potential and that he thought I was not focusing, that I was distracted or
detached from the team."

I nodded, knowing exactly what the coach meant. "So you told him you were
gay and that you had worries about people knowing and he told you to talk
to me."

He nodded. "I kept wanting to, but I didn't know how to at school. I
thought this would work."

"Okay. Look, my experience is that no one gives a shit. Or maybe what I
should say is that none of the coaches gives a shit and if any of the guys
on the team care, they're not going to give you shit about it. They'll
just keep their distance. But I can promise you that most of the guys
don't care."

He sighed.

"Jeremy is straight as they come and he was going to room with me. I'm
friendly with pretty much all the guys on the team Ð gay and straight."

"There are other gay guys on the team."

I smiled, kept stretching and nodded. "Yes, gay, bisexual, bi-curious,
straight and curious."

We smiled at each other.

I said, "If no one knows, does that mean you haven't dated anyone?"

He sighed loudly. "My parents are very conservative. My dad gets nuts
with gay stuff. He gets crazy when he sees the rainbow flag."

I exhaled loudly. "I have a father like that."

"Does he know?"

I told him what happened the night I told my father.

"Wow. Yeah, that's what's going to happen if he finds out."

"Well, he won't until you tell him."

He said, "I get scared because he comes to UX to see me swim. I think
he'll talk to guys on the team. He saw me talking to you and he wanted to
know who you were."

I stared at him.

"He wants me to be like you."

I smiled. "You can tell him you are."

He chuckled. "You know, swim like you."

I nodded. "Bedtime," I said. "Big day tomorrow."

I put the towel away, pulled off my boxer briefs and climbed into bed. He
did the same and climbed into his bed.

I said, "Can I ask you something? I mean you don't have to answer."

"Sure."

"Are you happy not dating anyone?"

I heard him sigh. "I'm scared that people will find out and I'm scared
that if I date someone, he'll think I'm a coward and beside, I've never
done anything with anyone."

"That sounds very sad and lonely."

Another deep sigh. "It is, but I guess I'm use to it."

I sat up in bed. "Hunter. You're a good-looking guy. You've got a nice
body and if you're at UX you're pretty smart."

"I guess."

"I get that you're scared. I remember feeling scared about being gay and
not wanting people to know. And no one should know until you are ready to
tell them."

"Thank you for saying that. The coach said you were the guy to talk to."

"I want to say this too. If you decide you want to meet someone, someone
who is in much the same situation as you, except he has dated, I can
introduce you to him."

"I don't know."

"Well, I won't say a word to him. I promise. But I will tell you this.
He saw you at the swim meet, when you and I were talking. He thinks you're
hot."

He chuckled.

"He a nice guy. His parents don't know and he would never tell anyone that
you were gay and dating him. I've known him for over two years now. He's
shy like you. Good looking, athletic, smart and looks good naked."

"He thinks I'm hot?"

"Yes. Aaron told me that this guy never ever comments on guys but one look
at you and he said something."

He laughed.

I sat up and looked over at him. "You've got wood, don't you?"

He laughed and rolled over onto his side.

I said, "I'll cover my head with the pillow. You can take a minute and
take care of that."

"A minute," he said and laughed.

I laughed. "Good night, Hunter."

"You're cool," he said. "I feel better."

"Good."

Silence. "I'd like to tell Aaron about our conversation. I promise it
won't go any farther. But if you don't want me to, I understand."

"It's okay. I trust you."

"And I'd like you to meet him. He's a great guy."

"Just him. Not your friend. I don't know if I'm ready."

"I promise I won't ever do anything without talking to you."

"Thank you."

"Good night."

"Good night."

"I'm putting the pillow over my head."

He laughed.

		* * * * *

Josh had called and said they were about twenty minutes from campus. I sat
in the parking lot waiting. The bus pulled in. I saw Josh step off the
bus. He waved to me and went on talking to someone. Jeremy followed him
to my car. Josh got in the front seat. Jeremy opened the back door. Josh
said, "Jeremy needs a ride."

"Hey, Jeremy," I said.

"Hey. Cathy's at a friends' place."

"No problem."

Josh leaned over and kissed me. "Did you miss me?"

I smiled and nodded.

Jeremy said, "That reminds me. What did Hunter want?"

Aaron looked at me. I sat silently for a moment. "His father is giving
him pressure. A lot of pressure."

"About?" Jeremy said.

"Swimming. He's coming to the home meets. He told Hunter he wants him to
be like me."

"That's all that kid needs. He's so quiet. I'm surprised he didn't ask
for a room by himself."

I turned in my seat and looked at Jeremy. "I think we need to draw him
out. His parents are very conservative and hovered over him. He never
dated either."

"Damn. Is he gay or straight?"

"Or somewhere in between?" Josh said.

Jeremy chuckled. "Yeah, everyone seems to be taking the middle road."

Aaron said, "Not you."

"Hey, if you guys ever want to take a straight boy on one night, I think
Cathy would say okay."

Josh and I laughed. Josh said, "Why's that?"

"She says you gays guys know how to make sex last for more than ten
minutes."

Josh and I laughed. I said, "It takes that long for Josh to decide if he's
going to be the top or the bottom."

Jeremy laughed and reached forward and mussed Josh's hair. "My boy, the
bottom."

Josh said, "Don't knock it unless you've tried it."

"I know, I know. I keep hearing that a guy gives the best head and the
best orgasm is with something up your ass."

Aaron said, "And when Josh is the top, that something is huge."

Jeremy laughed and mussed up Josh's hair again. "That's what I've heard."

I laughed. Josh just shook his head.

Jeremy said, "Jared used to say, `whenever I hear those commercials for
those sandwiches, you know they say foot long. I think of Josh."

Josh hung his head. Jeremy and I laughed hard. I said, "Subway's foot
long sandwiches."

Josh said, "It's not a foot long."

We pulled up in front of Jeremy' apartment. He leaned forward in the car
and said to Josh, "I love teasing you."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever."

"Thank you, Aaron."

"Anytime."

He stepped out of the car and closed the back door and then tapped on the
passenger side window. Josh opened the window. "Say hi to David."

"Yeah, okay."

He leaned in, put his hand over Josh's mouth and then kissed his hand as if
he were kissing Josh. "I love you, bro."

Josh laughed and shouted as Jeremy walked away. "Next time I want tongue."

Jeremy said, "Fuck, I can't believe I'm getting wood."

We drove away. I said, "I like him a lot."

"Yeah, he's a good guy."

"So Hunter roomed with you?"

Josh looked at me. "You going to get weird about this?"

I sighed. "No." I glanced at him. "Look, we've talked about this. I
can't help that I have anxieties any more than you can. And I know it's
not about you doing anything. I'm not putting it on you at all."

		* * * * *

I've come to expect to have to deal with Aaron's anxieties about someone
trying to pull me away from him. At first I felt accused. Then I felt as
though he didn't trust me and my commitment to him. I explained that he is
everything that I wanted in a boyfriend. I told him, "I have the gay gene,
the dancing gene, the asshole gene, the anger gene, but so far the cheating
gene hasn't expressed itself, so maybe I don't have it. If it ever rears
its head, I'll tell you."

Aaron said, "It's not you. I can see that most of the time. I just get
anxious."

I had to admit that I did not understood why he was anxious unless he was
lying and really didn't trust me. His parents were always dedicated to
him. They never cheated on each other, or so he said. He hasn't had a
girlfriend or boyfriend who cheated on him. And, as I've had him read,
straight guys cheat as much as gay guys and women have affairs too. So,
odds may be that one of us will cheat, but that's true of everyone.

"Hunter's just a scared gay guy," I said. "Not everyone had it easy like
you and you were scared."

"I get it."

I chuckled. "His father wants him to be like me. Isn't it ironic that
he's homophobic and he picks me as the guy he wants his son to be like."

"His father knows, but doesn't know."

I glanced at Aaron. "I wonder if my dad knew but didn't know."

Aaron looked at me and said, "I know it was only one night, but I missed
you."

I smiled. "I missed you too. Did you jerk off?"

He smiled and shook his head. I put my hand on his junk as he drove. He
glanced at me. I felt his dick getting hard. I said, "I bet I can make
you come in your pants."

He laughed. "You'd win that bet."

I laughed and pressed harder. "I want great head." Aaron smiled and
nodded. We turned down our street. "I'm going to suck you dry." He
chuckled. "Then I'm going to fuck you like you like it. Long and hard."

"You keep pressing into my junk," he said as he tried to park the car, "and
we'll be out here trying to explain to that car's owner why I smashed into
his car."

I let him park the car. We got out and walked to our apartment.

Aaron repeated what I said to Jeremy and chuckled. "Next time I want
tongue."

I laughed.

"Let's have them and David and Tina over for dinner again."

"Sure."

As I unpacked my bag, Aaron stood behind me, reach around, lift my tee
shirt, pressed his hand against my skin and slid his hands down under my
briefs and grabbed my junk. He kissed my neck. I turned my head and
kissed him.

"I want tongue," he moaned.

I turned. We kissed. My body tingled all over. I sighed. We wrestled
each other's clothes off. He pushed me down on the bed and knelt between
my legs. I lay back. He held my dick so that it was pointing up toward
the ceiling and smiled. "That was pretty funny. Foot long."

I rolled my eyes and shook my head and then felt the warmth of his mouth on
my cock. I sighed. Before long we were head to toe, my face buried in his
junk and his in mine. Each time he got close, I licked and sucked on his
balls, taking in his man smell. He did the same to me. Then he took me
over the edge. I buried my face in his junk and had an eye rolling, hip
thrusting, body shaking, toes curling orgasm.

After I recovered, I took him deep into my mouth and worked his cock until
he exploded into my mouth. He came and came and came and I swallowed.

We held each other. My stomach was pressed against his back and my arms
were around him. My semi erection soon was a full erection.

He said, "I know this sounds stupid, but even though it's only for a night,
I hate it when you're not here. But I do love it when you come home."

I chuckled and put my hand on his junk. He was hard.

He said, "Do you think he was serious?"

"Who?"

"Jeremy. Do you think she really said they do it in ten minutes?"

I chuckled. "I doubt it. She was probably just giving him shit."

He turned and faced me. "Fuck me?"

I smiled. "I'm just a piece of meat to you. Aren't I?"

"Foot long piece of meat." He laughed.

I pinched his nipple and said, "Asshole."

He laughed.

I said, "Cocksucker."

He laughed harder.

I said, "Cum breath."

He kept laughing.

"I hate you."

He laughed, pointed at me, nodded and said, "I knew you'd say that."
