Epilogue to Back from New York.

After Todd's second surgery and three months later it was on Todd's visit

he apologized that he couldn't come in and was sorry he hadn't stayed the
night.  He could have stayed we have several guest rooms, he had made it as
far as his aunt's house, Todd's parent's home.  He assured me he was safe
and I was glad.

It took three days to dig out of the snow by then Todd and Bryan were now
together forever.

Four and half years have passed, the twins (Bradley and Joshua) were now
attending their first year of school at an all day kindergarden.

Todd was now in his last year of residency and was deciding what he was
going to specialize in.

Bryan had gotten a position with a local chemical company and was head of
their new bioengineering department.

My internet business had done so well that I didn't need to work any longer
and just had to spend a few minutes each day updating and forwarding orders.
  I had hired out the call center so complaints and missing orders could be
handled but w/o me having to hear from Mrs. Johnson why the item she had
ordered arrived in muted orange instead of plum read.

Jamie had worked for us as a nanny for all those five years and now was
ready to move on.  I had fallen in love with Jamie and Todd had made sure I
knew that Jamie is gay.
