Subject: Buck, Part 3 (gay: incest)

Where we left them:

Mr. Greer turned to his son and said, "What are you going to name him son?".

Through misty eyes, as he gazed on that little human that was his son,
he answered his Dad and said, "Benjamin, for good luck and strength".
That is when Roy Denton fell into his Dad's arms and wept. Wept for
his children. Wept for the woman that gave birth to them. Wept for his
own strength.

Missy died two hours later.

Part 3:

Really, when you think about it, it was an easy decision to make. Roy
Denton's parents were still in their forties. His mom was a housewife
with little to do anymore. So once the baby was released from the
hospital, after he reached 4 and a half pounds, he went to join the
Greer's and Bucky in Grand Island.

As much as he wanted his boys with him Roy Denton knew it would be
best for the first few years to remain with his parents. Especially
until little Benjamin was strong enough.

Mrs. Walker was in agreement. Although she never took the children to
her house she helped Roy Denton's mother whenever possible. Mr. Walker
had buried his head in the sand about the whole situation but no
longer fought with his wife about it.

Roy Denton still made it to Grand Island almost every weekend and
spent every minute with his boys. The only thing that kept him away
was when the highways were closed because of weather. He wanted them
to have no mistake of who their father was. Barely 21 years old and
all he could think about was his boys.

His relationship with his Uncle remained close. But never really
romantic. He was like an Uncle with benefits who he admired greatly.

Roy Denton moved into his Uncle's guest room and they rented out the
other unit to another mechanic and his wife, Rich and Tracy. Roy
Denton had also thrown out anything that reminded him of Missy. It was
never a happy home and the ending was just sad. He wanted it all
behind him.

As the years passed Roy Denton became very proficient at his job. His
Uncle Roy could feel confident in leaving the garage in the boy's
hands if he ever went anyplace. Which he never did. The garage and Roy
Denton was the extent of the man's life.

Five years pass. Roy Denton is 26. Bucky is past his eight birthday
and Benji is going to be six.

During one of his weekend trips he walked into the boys room one
morning to get them up. He found Benji curled up in Bucky's arms.
Bucky woke up and smiled at his Dad.

"Morning dad." The boy was always happy.

"What's up with Benji?" Roy Denton asked.

"When he's scared he comes and sleeps with me."

"How often does that happen?" A concerned Roy Denton asked.

"A lot. But I think he makes it up a lot because he just doesn't want
to be alone." This made Roy Denton feel sad. Benji feeling alone. He
didn't want his boys to ever feel like they were alone. He had to get
them back with him soon.

A few more years pass. The boys are growing fast. Bucky definetly
takes after Roy Denton and Uncle Roy but Benji seems to always be a
year behind everyone else physically. But intelligence wise the roles
are reversed. Benji is always testing genius level and is very
serious. Bucky, on the other hand, is an average student who is always
happy go lucky. But the bond between them just grows stronger.

About the time Bucky turned 14 Roy Denton was in Grand Island for the
weekend with the boys. He got a call from Uncle Roy and his neighbor
Rich. Uncle Roy was in a traffic accident and the police came around
looking for someone in the family. He was in Clarkson Hospital and was
critical.

Roy Denton and his Dad made the trip to Omaha right away. But, alas,
they were too late. Roy had lost a lot of blood and there was nothing
they could do. He had died an hour before they had arrived.

Both the Greer men took it very hard. Roy Denton most of all.

Roy Denton's Dad made all the arrangements to have Roy sent back to
Grand Island where they would have a family service and bury him. They
both went back to the duplex to rest.

Roy Denton took the week off and went back to Grand Island to bury his
Uncle and to spend time with the boys. It was all very sad. There were
pieces of Roy Denton's life missing now and he was only 32.

When Roy Denton got back to work the next Monday there was a letter
waiting for him. It was a request for him to call a lawyer in town. He
didn't recognize the name nor did he know what it was about. He was
widowed and didn't have a pot to piss in. Maybe it was about the
garage. Selling it off for the state or something.

He called the number and made an appointment for the next morning to
see a lawyer named Meyer. Sean Meyer. Never heard of him either. The
appointment was for 9 am Tuesday.

When he arrived at the lawyer's office he was asked to wait for a few
moments because Mr. Meyer had not arrived yet.

He waited about 15 minutes and then a slim but attractive man about
the same age of his Uncle came in the door. The secretary nodded at
the man and then nodded towards Roy Denton.

"Ah, Mr. Greer is it? Roy Denton?" the man asked.

"Yes sir. You Mr. Meyer?" Roy Denton answered.

"Just call me Sean Mr. Greer." the man answered with a large smile.

"Well then just call me Roy" Roy Denton grinned back at the man.

"Well come into the office Roy and get settled. You do remind me so
much of your Uncle when he was a bit younger." Sean said.

"You knew my Uncle?"

"For a very long time. He wasn't such a hermit back in the day. I very
sorry for your loss, for all of our loses really, he was a good man."
Sean said.

"Yes he was. So why am I here? Dad took care of the hospital and
funeral already. I figured the rest was up to the state." Roy said.

"The rest of what son?" Sean seemed confused.

"Well I don't know. Whatever they do with estates of unmarried men."
Roy was now the one confused.

"Oh I see. I see where the confusion is. Well, normally, when someone
is unmarried and there is no will, the state would seek out the next
of kin. Since his parents are no longer living and their are no
children everything would go through probate and then left to the
closet sibling. I guess that would be your father. But in this case
there was a will Roy." Sean clarified.

"Oh there was? Well that's good. I'm sure that helps a lot" Roy was
still unsure why he was there. It should have been his dad.

"Yes. Your Uncle updated it every couple of years. He was very good
about it. Didn't want to make any mistakes. When he sold a property or
bought one he ensured that every t was crossed." Sean said.

"Property? I thought he just owned the garage and the duplex" Roy asked.

"No, with the inheritance both your dad and uncle got from their
parents they both invested wisely. Your Uncle more so. He had several
properties. Now, which leads us to the reason we are here, you and I."
Sean said.

"Ok?" Roy replied.

"Although he updated his will very often there was always only one beneficiary."

"Ok? Who?"

"You" Sean simply said.

"Me? I'm just his nephew. Why me?"

"Why you? As far as Roy was concerned there was no one else. You were
his primary family. You were like his own son. Hell you even look a
lot alike." Sean laughed a bit.

"Wow. That was awful nice of him. So the garage and the duplex?" Roy
was overwhelmed.

And four other properties around Omaha and a home in Palm Springs.
Which I never understood why he bought it. He's been there twice.
Anyway. What ever money is left as well as an insurance policy. You're
not wealthy but you will be comfortable. Also there is this letter
that was included with the will. He wrote it about a year ago and
asked me to give it to you if anything ever happened to him." Sean
handed him the letter.

Roy opened the letter and it said:

Roy Denton,

Hopefully your not reading this until I'm a ripe old man. But if it
didn't turn out that way I just want to give you one bit of advice.
Live your life. Don't be like me. A hermit. Not being true to the
person I am. I think you know what I mean.

You, being with me these past few years, has been the best thing that
I could have ever dreamed of. Thank you for that.

Take whatever is left with my money and enjoy life with your boys. Go
and see the world or something. Don't live in fear like I did.

I love you Roy Denton. Always have.

Uncle Roy.

Roy's eyes got a bit misty. He was really going to miss the man. The
man he looked up to his whole life.

When Sean saw that Roy was done with reading the letter he said, "Find
a good lawyer and a good accountant. You'll be paying taxes on all
this at the end of the year. Don't spend too much until you know how
much you'll be owing Uncle Sam."

"Well can you just be my lawyer? Uncle Roy seemed to have trusted
you." Roy said.

"I'd be honored. And I won't let your Uncle down, I never have."

"There is one other thing. After reading the letter I guess I wouldn't
mind taking the boys and moving. That house in Palm Springs? Is it
empty?"

"It has tenants but the lease was up last month and they said they
were moving out at the end of this month. I'm sure it will need some
refurbishing. But you can see what you want to do with it."

"Great. I think its time I live full time with my boys. Away from
here." Roy said.

"Well if you are set on leaving town I would suggest that you sell the
garage. It would be hard to manage from Palm Springs. But keep the
rest of the properties as they are generating income for you. What do
you think?"

"Sounds good to me Sean. You know more than me. But I would like to
ensure everyone at the garage is taken care of. Maybe the buyer could
keep them on or something." Roy said.

"We'll work it out Roy. We'll work it out."

After the meeting with the lawyer Roy decided to go back to Grand
Island. He had to have a talk with the boys. Wanted to make sure they
were ok with moving half way across the country. They were young but
he wanted them to be a team.
