When they got to Mrs. Tillison's, the guys unloaded the car and she took
Jeff aside, "You take my car home, and have Tyler bring it back. Drop Toby
off on your way home and when you are leaving for Farmer Brown's, drop
Spencer off at Toby's, so he can go with Anita and Greg. We'll form a
convoy so you and Jack can be there first to make sure that everything is
set. I think both young men need this, to get them jump started."

Toby and Spencer came in and said, "Everything is on the counter."

"You didn't put the things away for her? I'm embarrassed." Jeff said.

Toby and Spencer turned to go back to the kitchen, but Aunt Cora
interrupted. "Jeff, honey, I already put everything away. Now stop picking
on my boyfriends here."

"Yes Aunt Cora." Jeff answered. "Ready to go, guys?"

The three of them went out and got into the car. "Why are you driving
Grams' car, Jeff?" Toby asked.

"Do you want to walk? Jeff asked.

"No." Toby answered.

"How else are going to get Jeff's groceries home?" Spencer laughed.

Jeff realized I had come home early when he saw all the cars in the
driveway. The three of them came into the house carrying bags of groceries.
"Dad, where are you?" he yelled.

"I'm right here, what do you need?"

"Where are the other guys?" he asked.

"They are in the living room cleaning up. Drew has something he wants to
tell you, and Tyler seems upset." I answered.

"Okay Dad, help Toby and Spencer bring the rest of the bags in, while I
find out what's going on." Jeff said.

Jeff went into the living room and Drew yelled, "Guess what."

"I have no idea." Jeff answered. "What?"

"I got paid for working this week." Drew said, as he pulled his check out
of his pocket with the biggest smile.

"Great, my man, I knew you could do something." Jeff laughed as he hugged
him. "I want you and Kenny to go help bring the groceries in to the
kitchen."

They left and Jeff said, "Okay Mr. Tyler. What's bugging you, now?"

"When I got my check, I realized it was for way too much. I asked
Mrs. Albright about it and she said that Mr. Hendrix had made the raise
effective retroactive to the beginning of the week. He also paid us for
eight hours today and tomorrow. I can't accept this charity?" Tyler
sobbed.

"Wait a minute. Did Kenny and Drew get paid for the same hours?" Tyler
shook his head yes. "Do they think that they are receiving charity?" Tyler
shook his head no. "Have you asked anyone for anything?" Tyler shook his
head no. "Then I don't think this is charity. Just because your and
Tiger's lucky stars are getting back into alignment, and your parents are
watching out for you, things are finally starting to go in your favor.
Proudly accept what people are doing for you. Let them know that you
appreciate it. You two guys have had a lot of baggage to carry, so it's
time to let others help you."

Jeff added, "Now do I need to sit you in a chair and talk to you like I did
Kevin?"

That did it. Tyler lost all control and came to Jeff and said, "Just hold
me please." Then the tears started. Jeff held him for three or four
minutes and then pulled away and said, "Time's up. Now go into the bathroom
and wash your face and meet us in the kitchen in five minutes."

Jeff came into the kitchen, shook his head and said, "Wait a minute guys, I
thought I told you to put everything away."

The five of us looked to see what the problem was. I finally said, "Okay
Jeff, what's wrong?"

He simply looked at the table and said, "I don't remember a pile a brown
bags being on the kitchen table before." He turned and left.

Spencer picked up the bags and asked, "Where do you want these, sir?"

"Why don't you put them in the garage on a shelf?" I answered.

Tyler came in and Jeff turned to Kenny, Drew and Toby and said, "You guys
stink. Go home and shower and get dressed, or I am not eating with you
tonight." He tossed the keys to Drew and said, "I want you to take Kenny
and Toby home, and then drive to Mrs. T.'s house. When you get there, give
the keys to Tyler and he can bring the car back here. Take Spencer with
you so he can see where Toby lives."

Everyone got their jackets and left. When everyone was gone, Jeff handed me
a large gift bag and said, "Put this on the TV and then come to the bedroom
and help me."

I did as I was told and as soon as I walked in, Jeff grabbed me and pulled
me to the bed and said, "Take me quick. I need to feel you in me."

I quickly took off my clothes and crawled on top of him and positioned my
penis at his opening and he pulled all the way in. I responded and we both
lost control and began to erupt. We had just finished when we heard the
guys come in.

Jeff said, "Quick take a shower and I'll throw on a robe and go talk to the
guys."

He went downstairs and said, "You, Mr. Tyler, go the bathroom between the
two back bedrooms, and you Tiger, use the bath in the hall. I want to see
you dressed in 15 minutes, in slacks, dress shirt and a sweater. Go."

Jeff came into the bedroom as I was finishing getting dressed. "Dad, when
you are dressed, take these gifts and put them in the trunk before the guys
come out."

Again, I did as I was told and went back upstairs to comb my hair and brush
my teeth. Jeff was standing at the door of the guys' room in just a pair
of bikini briefs. The door opened and Jeff asked, "Are you guys ready?"

"Yep, we're ready to roll." answered Spencer and then he added, "Jeff, you
are beautiful."

Jeff simply said, "Guys aren't beautiful. Better get used to seeing a lot
of men's bodies, since there are going to be seven of us living up here.
Now you, Mister Tyler, go to Mrs. Tillison's house and get the three of
them. They will direct you to the dinner."

"Spence, you make sure all the lights except the one in the kitchen are off
and lock the front door. I'll be down in five minutes. Oh, by the way,
you both look absolutely super. Now move." he ordered.

Jeff got ready in record time and we went downstairs and Jeff said, "We're
ready to put the pedal to the metal." No sooner said than Spencer was
there.

As we were walking out the door, Spencer asked, "Aren't we forgetting
something?"

"What?" Jeff feigned innocence.

"The gift." Spencer asked, and he looked like he was going to cry.

"Oh that. It's already in the car my little Tiger. Now, let's move out."
Jeff laughed.

We started to Toby's house and Spencer picked up on where we were going
real fast. "Is Toby going with us?" he asked.

"Nope, you are going with him and his parents." Jeff answered.

Toby met us at the front walk, and practically drug Spencer into the house.
I turned to Jeff and said, "I guess we are on our own." "Good." said Jeff.
"We really need some time to talk." That's exactly what we did the entire
45 minutes to the restaurant. More precisely, Jeff talked almost the
entire way. I was stunned at some of the things that had happened.

We pulled up in front of the restaurant and he got out and took the
television into the restaurant and was directed to the private room and
then he came back and grabbed the other gifts. He told me to meet him
inside after I parked the car.

When I got into the room, Jeff was working with a man fixing a special
place for Mrs. Baxter to sit and be comfortable and not be in anyone else's
way. The room had a Happy Birthday banner and a bouquet of birthday
balloons on the front table.

"Okay Dad. Let's go greet the people and help them into the restaurant."
Jane and Stan arrived with Kevin and his mother, and the Hendrix's pulled
right behind with Kenny driving. Jeff helped lift Mrs. Baxter out of the
van and put her in the wheelchair. Mrs. Hendrix got out. Jeff helped
Mrs. Baxter up the ramp while Kevin and I escorted the other two ladies.

When we had everyone settled, we went back to the front and met Greg and
Anita and two excited boys. We directed them to the room and then Drew
pulled up with Mrs. Tillison and Aunt Cora. We helped the ladies out and
escorted them in. When we got to the room, Jeff told Spence and Toby to go
meet the guys and show them where to come.

They took off and finally arrived with Drew and Tyler.

Jeff went to work and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to
introduce our birthday boy, Mr. Tyler Knight, and his brother Spencer
Knight."

Everyone clapped and shouted "Happy Birthday." The two young guys just
about lost it right there, but Jeff took over again and led them to the
people they didn't know and introduced them.

When they got to Mrs. Baxter, Jeff said, "Kevin, I think you had better
introduce this lovely lady, since I have never met her." When Kevin
introduced her, all three guys gave her a hug and Spencer gave her a kiss.
She was beaming. Jeff announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, time to be seated.
Tyler, sit here. Spencer, you sit here. Toby, you sit beside Spencer and
Kevin, you sit on the other side of Tyler. Mrs. Baxter, we fixed a special
place for you here. Everyone else, find a seat. Everyone intermixed and
Jeff waited until everyone else was seated and he took the remaining seat.

The waitresses started to bring the food and everyone was so busy eating
that there was only a light mixture of conversations with an occasional
giggle from Spence and Toby. Out of the clear, Toby asked, "Jeff, can I
come to your house for exercises in the morning. You can pick me up after
you get the other two guys."

"Sure you can, but you need to get permission from your parents first and
they are not going to wake you up. That's your responsibility and if you
are not waiting when we get there, we aren't waiting for you." Jeff
answered.

Toby asked, "Dad and Mother, can I go to Doctor Wilson's in the morning at
6:00?"

"Yes, but what Jeff says has to happen. I don't have to go to work
tomorrow, and I want to sleep late." Greg answered.

"Okay Toby, you will need to be wearing sports clothes, bring some work
clothes and some other things to wear for your physical." Jeff reminded
him.

"What physical?" Anita asked.

"Toby." said Jeff, shaking his head.

"Doctor Wilson said it would be okay if I got a physical with Tyler and
Spencer tomorrow, and I figured it would okay with you, since I will need
one to play baseball this year anyway." Toby said and then asked, "It is
okay, isn't it?"

Jeff jumped in and said pointing a finger at Toby, "You are only ten. You
need to get permission from your parents before making any definite
commitments. If you don't shape up, I will have to divorce you from being
my brother."

Toby looked at everyone and said, "I'm sorry. I guess I was trying to act
like a teenager."

Jane turned to me and said, "I think Toby thinks he can act like Jeff and
get away with it." Then she laughed.

I heard Mrs. Baxter quietly ask Mrs. T., "Who is this Jeff person?
Everyone seems to respect him so much. I know Kevin came home talking
about him."

Mrs. Tillison answered. "Jeff is Doctor Wilson's son, and he is a most
talented young man. He is also extremely kind and honest. If I had to
guess, he probably doesn't have a wicked bone in his body. It is exciting
to watch how he brings out the best in people without a lot of fuss."

Aunt Cora said, "Gracie, I can attest to that personally. See Andrew over
there. He was on his way to becoming a lost punk when we brought him here
less than a week ago. In a matter of less than thirty minutes Jeff changed
that."

Jeff turned to Mrs. Hendrix and asked, "How was your trip down here? Did
Kenny do a good job?"

She laughed and said, "He is already a better driver than his father. My
knuckles didn't turn white once on the way down here."

"Watch it dear, or you may be walking home. Jeff, he did really well until
we went to park. He parked so far the left field foul line that it took an
hour for us to get back to the restaurant."

"He wasn't alone sir, Drew parked so down the right field line that I think
he might be in the bull pen." laughed Tyler.

Everyone was laughing when the waitresses brought in a large birthday cake
and started to light the candles. There were 20 candles. When the candles
were lit, Jeff said, "Okay birthday boy; see if you can blow out your
candles so you can get your birthday wishes."

Tyler had Spencer help him blow and all of the candles went out. Everyone
clapped. The waitress came and said, "We'll cut this gentlemen and bring
in the pieces shortly."

"Could we have a scoop of ice cream on the cake please?" asked Toby.

"Sir, it is an ice cream cake. Do you want another scoop of ice cream?"
the waitress asked.

"No, that's okay. Just make sure that Spencer and I get big slices. Thank
you." Toby answered.

Jeff had gone to the gift table and announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, it is
now time for our guests to open their gifts. Toby and Spencer front and
center." Jeff handed them the second largest box and they delivered it to
Tyler and hugged him and said, "Happy Birthday."

He opened it and said, "You guys can't afford this."

"Jeff helped us." Spencer said. "We only owe a hundred hours of slave
labor."

Jeff motioned for Drew and Kenny to come forward. He whispered something
to them and he handed them the packages. Drew handed his package to Tyler
and said, "This is from Kenny and me. We hope you like them. If you
don't, we have a gift receipt so you can return them."

He opened the package and said, "Thank you guys." He had tears in his
eyes.

"Okay birthday boy, you need to come here for this one." Jeff said.

Tyler went to the table and Jeff pushed the gift to him and said, "This is
from Dad and me. Happy Birthday big brother."

Tyler pulled the package out of the bag and looked at the box and asked,
"Is this what it says?"

"Yep, what you see is what you get." laughed Jeff. "Why do I need a big
television?" asked Tyler. "What am I going to do with it?"

Jeff whispered, "You will find out why in just a few minutes. We will
discuss it more, when we get home." Tyler walked back to his seat like he
was shell shocked.

"Okay now, Mr. Spencer. This is from Dad and me." Jeff said as he handed
him a package.

Spencer didn't waste any time. When he looked at the box, he held it up
with the biggest smile and said, "Thank you, so much." He hugged Jeff and
then came and hugged me carrying his play station."

Jeff motioned for Toby to come up and Jeff handed him a package. Toby took
it back and handed it to Spencer. When he opened it, Spencer said, "Oh
wow, two games for the play station. What great games!" He turned to Toby
and gave him a high five.

Kenny took his package to Spencer and said this is from Drew and me."
Spencer opened the package and when he saw that it was Game Boy he jumped
up and gave both Kenny and Drew the biggest hugs.

The waitresses started to serve the dessert and everyone started to eat
except Jeff and he shook his head no. Instead he went to the table and
picked up two envelopes and went to Tyler and Spencer and said, "Okay Ying
and Yang, these are for you. They opened them and the reactions were very
different. Spencer jumped out of his chair. He ran to Mrs. Tillison and
gave her hug and kiss and said, "Thank you Grams. I have never seen a
$50.00 bill before."

Tyler said, "This says for services to be rendered. What do I have to do?"

Well, I thought you could paint the empty rooms before I put anything else
in them and Drew's room needs a fresh coat of paint."

Jeff stepped in and handed each of the guys another envelop. Spencer tore
his open and there was another $20.00. He read the card and hugged both of
the Hendrix adults.

Tyler slumped further when he opened his envelope. It was a check for
$250.00. There was a note that said Happy Birthday and a belated Christmas
bonus. He looked at Mr. and Hendrix and said, "Thank you sir, but
Christmas was last week."

Mr. Hendrix said, "Mrs. Albright didn't include them last week because she
was out, ill."

Jeff intervened again and went to the guys and handed the two guys another
envelop saying, "Here you go, King and Kong."

They opened the two cards and again they each receive money from Greg and
Anita. Again Spencer got up and hugged them. Tyler slumped a little
further and said, "Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Thompson."

Jeff handed them another set of envelops and they opened them. Tyler
received $50.00 from Jane and Hank. Spencer got another $20.00. The
reaction was the same. Jeff was about to sit down when Aunt Cora motioned
for him to come and she handed him two more envelopes. Jeff returned to
the two guys and announced, "Okay, Romulus and Remus, here are two last
gifts."

They opened the cards. Tyler received a $100.00 bill and Spencer had
another $50.00 bill. Spencer jumped up and ran to Aunt Cora and hugged her
and kissed her on the cheek. Tyler smiled and said, "Thank you Aunt Cora."

Hank said, "I recommend that you two gentlemen stop by the bank after your
physicals in the morning and open accounts."

The waitresses cleared the plates and Mrs. Tillison said, "I will be right
back."

Jeff went to Tyler and Spencer and whispered, "I think you two guys should
go thank everyone for coming and the gifts, but whatever you do, smile.
Tyler you look like you are going into melt down again. Forget it until we
get home and them we can discuss whatever the issue is. Now get busy."

Both guys were really gracious and impressed the people. Spencer hugged
and kissed everyone. Tyler shook everyone's hand except for Mrs. T. and
Aunt Cora and he did kiss them.

"Okay everyone get the cars so we can get home before the sun comes up.
The way Drew drives, we might make it by noon." laughed Mrs. Tillison.

Jeff spoke up, "Toby and Spencer, would you help me with the gifts. Put
the cards and envelops in the bag with the small gifts. Mrs. Thompson,
could you carry the bag? Toby you get the boom box, Spencer you get the
play station, and I will bring the television."

They came out and loaded my car and then Jeff helped Kevin get his mother
in the van and made sure everyone was taken care of. He turned to Tyler
and said, "Call me when you get back, and I will come and pick you up.

We all left. When we got home, Jeff turned on the lights and unlocked the
doors. Spencer came in like he was flying, he was so excited. "That was
the most fun I have had in a long time."

Just then Tyler came in looking like he was about to cry.

"Tyler, sit down, and let's talk. What's wrong, man?" Jeff asked.

"I'm so confused, I feel so happy and upset at the same time, and I don't
really know anymore what I think." Tyler sighed. "I'm going to bed to
think about it. Come on Spencer, let's go to bed."

They went to their room and Jeff and I closed up the house. After we were
in bed, Jeff sighed, "I hope we can take care of the problems in the
morning."

He kissed me and just cuddled and said "Dad, I love you. Just hold me
tight. I have a feeling that the next couple of days are going to be very
exhausting." He fell asleep immediately as usual.

I was thinking about everything that had happened and was just about ready
to fall asleep wondering what tomorrow would bring.

Editor's Notes:

Well there you have another great chapter. I think that was a real nice
Birthday Party. Spencer and Tyler are both fine kids. Well, I guess Tyler
is not really a kid any more. They have been through a lot, and now things
are going to be a lot better for both of them. I keep saying this, but
each chapter gets better than the last one.
