Subject: Me and My Brother  11

Sorry it been longer than I expected but lets just say there where things
that I needed to work out.

We left off with Mark, Matt and Tony where having a telephone conversation
with their lawyer Mr. Adams about lies that Brian, Dennis, Kevin, Brad
along with his wife Kathy had been convince the boys that she and Brad had
legally separated when in truth it was a total lie.  Also the so called
missing Kevin and Brad where no longer missing, but now where partners with
the others in a newer version of the restaurant they ran called," The
Dungeon".  Here is further conversations between our young men, their
lawyer along with Kathy and Dennis who where acting like they where looking
for Brad, Brian and Brad.

So to answer the question that I left our previous installment of our
story: "What really gives"?

As in a previous chapter where Mark was suffering some nasty nightmares as
well as daydreams that messed up his train of thought not to mention that
he did not trust Anthony or his dad after what had happened.

Matt was talking to Mark about what was going on one day after a game
against Miami, on the Delta flight back from Florida to Alabama.  Mark
admitted that he had thought that it be nice to have mentors like Brian and
Dennis, but after the out burst during that so called special dinner
involving Kevin and Anthony.  Mark, than continued on that he was madder at
Anthony, his dad, and aunt for all lying to him about who really was who in
his life, and than he mentioned Matt's mother claiming that she did not
know what to really do after she and his dad had gotten her pregnant not
once but twice before she took Matt running home to mom and daddy.

I called Tony to discuss what he and Kevin had planned especially since
Coach Stevens was serious about helping him and Mark out when it came to
dealing with their parents. I actually made the comment to Anthony," You
are either with us or you are against US", and I had never called Tony by
his given name until I saw how much it was hurting Mark.

Tony called me back to let me know that he did not want his older brothers
angry at him, and to treat him the same way that we where treating our
parents.  He continued his conversation by saying that being with Kevin had
become like living in a dungeon, and that he was starting to worry about
Kevin along with Brad and Brian who seemed to be talking about nothing but
opening a sexually themed restaurant in either Jersey or down in Miami.

Thinking back to Mark's dream about Kathy worrying about Kevin who had run
off, and than Brad located him in an underground newspapers where Kevin
advertised for a Master or Mistress who was totally into the BDSM scene.
Than remembering that Brian and Dennis where at one time talking about the
restaurant they had bought a few weeks before, after all the years they
worked there as waiters, bartenders, and than as managers.

Matt was starting to realize that he could not always lean on his
boyfriend/partner/brother to be the wall to hold them up, but that Mark
needed to be able to rely on Matt just as equally.  After waking Mark up
from another nightmare during his nap during the return flight so that
Coach Stevens would not see him shaking as well as the cold sweats he was
having at the time.  That would have been the last straw from the Coach who
had threatened to declare Mark ineligible for the rest of the season if the
nightmares continued without Mark talking to Mr. Adams a local psychologist
to find out what was causing his problems.

Mark told me that Mr. Adams was also in his nightmare, but as a lawyer who
had wiretapped the telephone lines to find out where Brad, Dennis and Kevin
really where hiding.  He than also told me that Kathy had lied to him by
saying that she and Brad had separated, but after some checking in New York
as well as New Jersey there was NO documentation to confirm this statement
by Kathy.  Also he told me that restaurant had a new name called "The
Dungeon" with Kathy, Brad and Kevin Summers along with Dennis Richardson
and Brain Wilson listed as owners of the new restaurant with the liquor
license pending.  Mark decided to make some personal calls to some New York
City officials to see if these fact where true, and he found out that the
restaurant had been renamed "The Dungeon" now owned by the Summers as it
had been sold by Brian and Dennis earlier in the month as matter of fact
the date of sale was the same date of the Alabama loss to Maryland in the
Pig 'skin Classic.  That was enough for him to hear so Mark notified the
liquor board that he objected the granting of a license to the Summer
family that had bought the restaurant because when he was there with his
family that Brad and Kevin Summer had tended bar, and slipped some "Date
Rape" into his drink which he did not want because he was not of age to
drink in Alabama nor in NYC.  They asked if he had any proof of this and he
stated that a teammate was present, also that it made the local news that a
University of Alabama had been rushed to the hospital after suffering from
unknown illness. He than asked them if they wanted to speak to the teammate
that was present when this happened at the restaurant, and they replied of
course if we can record it.

I got back in the picture by asking that they call the Head Coach Stevens
Office as we where scheduled to meet with him anyway, and that he also had
witness what happened both at the restaurant as well as at the Hilton later
on that night when Mark got seriously ill.

An hour later we sat in Coach Stevens outer office waiting to be called
inside to talk to the two of them about what has been going on, and wanting
to find out if the New York City Liqueur Board had contacted him yet about
that weekend in New Jersey that started all of Mark's trouble.  After being
buzzed into his office by Coach Stevens secretary, we where greeted by a
major shock as there stood Anthony next to Coach Stevens with two documents
in his hands.  One of the documents was a letter of intent to play both
soccer and football for the University of Alabama in the fall, and the
other was a court order giving both Mark and myself legal guardianship of
Anthony.  I wish that last one had somebody else's name on it as both of us
where not talking to Anthony, and I told the coach that very bluntly.  As I
was talking the intercom came across from his secretary saying Mr. Adams is
here also sir there is a call from the NYC liquor board about something
that happened when you where there during the Maryland Game after the
classic.

Putting the call on speaker so we all could tell the government folk from
New York City what had happened, and especially Anthony since he was still
in high school also being served drinks by the Summers.  Coach and
Mr. Adams had discussed the fact that all three of us where brothers, as
well Mark and myself being lovers/partners having just found out about
Anthony also being a brother not a cousin.  They also knew that we called
Tony "Anthony" when we where really pissed off at him, and yet they could
not figure out what the boy did to have pissed us off so bad that we did
not want to be his legal guardians.  After the phone called ended some 45
mins later, I suggested that Anthony tell them the whole truth as Mark and
I where going to sit here to make sure he did not lie like he had to us in
the past couple of months.

To be truthful I told him that since mom and dad had thrown him out after
they where arrested, and awaiting their trials on bail that I did not care
if he ( Anthony) lived on the streets or went and sucked up to that asshole
Kevin again, but if he went to Kevin and his family than he was never to
try to contact us again as long as we lived.  I also told him that the
lifestyle that Kevin lived that most likely both of them would contact AIDS
especially since Kevin enjoyed the BDSM scene along with getting fucked
bareback.  He asked what bareback was, and I told him bluntly." Getting it
hard without a condom on". so go find Kevin get all the STD's he probably
has passed around along with the greater possibility of contacting AIDS
from Kevin because of it.

Tony that looked at both of us and asked," You do not love me do you?"  I
replied that I was really pissed at his attitude towards what mom and dad
had done towards Mark and myself, and that if he thought that Kevin Summers
was such a damn God than why did he decide to attend this college and not
move in with him.  Anthony turned towards Mark and asked him, "Are you not
going to say anything to me", because usually its you that goes off like
Matt just did.

For the first time in almost a month Mark talked to Anthony.  He said,"
Tony we have been hurt really bad by your actions towards us, and those
actions speak much louder than any words that you could ever say".  Both
where crying when Mark looked at me to see if I believed Anthony or thought
that he was bullshitting us again.

Just before I said anything to Mark.  Coach Stevens told me that I should
really consider whether breaking up family over personal feelings was the
right thing to do as a young man.  Hearing Coach Stevens say that both Mark
and Anthony separated, and just sat there looking at each other quietly.
All of a sudden Anthony said to all of us," I know that I have fucked up
big time but please let me prove that I deserve your trust again".

Coach Stevens suggested that we all sleep on it as well as talk to
Mr. Adams about how we feel toward each other, and he told Anthony that
until there was some form of resolution that he was going to sleep at his
house.
