"We have too," I said, as I kissed him and wrapped an arm around him.
"Yes we have," said Andy, as he kissed him and snuggled up to him as
well.
"Wanta talk about your dream?" I asked.
"No," Jacob said, yawning. Then he added "I love you guys!"
"We love you too," I said.
"Yeah," Andy agreed.
We stopped talking then, and within minutes I could tell Jacob and Andy
had both drifted off to sleep. It wasn't long before I joined them.

Jacob and I spent a few hours with Duke the next day. We visited his
mother, and went out for dinner. Andy didn't join us this time, as he
had an essay to write for school.

The following week went by quickly. Thankfully, the cold snap lifted,
and suddenly it was much warmer.
Friday at school, Evan was very nervous because of his imminent first
date. Betsey appeared nervous as well. Lunch was oddly quiet as the two
of them just kept glancing and smiling stupidly at each other, and the
rest of us were busy watching them. I was a bit uptight myself, as I was
due to play professionally at the Bell & Crown for the first time that
afternoon. I noticed that my friends all kept looking at me, and then
whispering to each other, when they thought I wasn't looking. I wondered
what was up with that...
