Subject: The Chandlers Chapter 6

			       The Chandlers
			      John and Ronald

				Chapter Six

From the moment his twin sister introduced him to her beau, Ron was
smitten. John Chandler was everything he was not; tall, and as handsome as
a god. Ron was the same height as his sister and not much larger in his
frame. He was nice looking, but he would never turn heads. Ron
masturbated at least once a night, sometimes twice, dreaming of making love
to his future brother-in-law.

John liked Ron right away. He was attracted to his quick wit, and his fun
sense of humor. He wished he had met him years ago. He knew they would
have been good friends in spite of a six year age difference. Never mind
all that. They became fast friends immediately after they were introduced.
John wished his fiancée had her twin brother's fun humor. She was a
somber, very religious person. It was the one thing he did not like about
her, but he was so bewitched by her beauty, he was willing to overlook that
one tiny fault.

Soon after they met, John accepted Ron's invitation for them to go on a
hunting trip together. He was surprised that Ron liked to hunt. He had
tried it with his uncle once, but he couldn't bring himself to fire at a
beautiful, stately deer. He really wanted to spend some alone time with
his new friend so he reluctantly agreed. Driving up to the hunting
grounds, Ron admitted that he couldn't kill a fly, and that he went to have
some peace and quiet and to commune with nature. John breathed a sigh of
relief. "Now that's what I call a hunting trip," he said, "hunting for
peace and tranquility."

After they set up camp, and cooked some canned soup, Ron said, "I hope you
don't mind, John, but I find that peace, quiet, and meditation come easier
for me when I strip." Without waiting for a comment from John, he stripped
naked, and also without any comment, John stripped too.

John was not surprised at Ron's cock size. It was proportionate with his
body size, but Ron gasped when he saw John. It was proportionate also, and
it looked massive to Ron. All he could think about was wiggling John's
cock up his receptive ass. As much as he would have liked to have seduced
his future brother-in-law, Ron always kept his decorum on this and future
hunting excursions. The two men may not have bonded physically at those
times, but they grew closer and closer emotionally and spiritually.

During the whole year that John was engaged to his sister, and for two
months after the wedding, Ron never stopped coveting his best friend and
future brother-in-law. When John came to him a couple of months after the
wedding, and complained that Hope had denied him any sex until after the
baby was born, Ron was quick to attempt to seduce John. It was risky, but
he was so hungry to make love with John, that he threw all caution to the
wind. What surprised him was how easy the seduction was.

After the third or fourth time Ron and John made love with each other, Ron
dared ask, "John, honey, did you ever make love with a man before me?"

"No," he answered immediately. "I never made love to a man, but I sort of
had sex with a friend in college more than a few times. He just so
happened to be my roommate, so we had plenty of privacy and abundant
opportunity. Neither of us identified ourselves as being homosexual. All
we did was jerk each other off. We were just having a little fun."

"Are you still in touch with him?"

"No, after we graduated, I felt that the best thing to do was to forget
about what we had done together. I assume he felt the same way. Neither
of us has attempted to contact the other. I gotta admit, I think of him
often, and wonder what has happened to him. We were both studying
pharmacy. If I thought it would be a good idea to reconnect, I guess I
could find him through the State Education Department. That's the
department responsible for issuing professional licenses."

"Do you want to contact him?" Ron asked.

"Yes and no. I think that it's best to let sleeping dogs lie. I have a
wife and a family on the way now, and he may well have too. I wouldn't
want to open up a Pandora's Box."

"What was his name and where did he come from?" Ron asked.

"Carl Hutchinson, from Toledo."

Ron filed the name away in his memory bank. Over two decades later, when
he and John were living as a couple, and they were almost empty nesters,
Ron contacted the Ohio State Education Department and obtained a list of
pharmacists, who were registered in the State of Ohio. He found two Carl
Huthinsons in Toledo. One was listed as retired, but he obviously had
maintained his certification.

He got up his courage, and wrote a letter to the other Carl.

Dear Mr. Hutchinson:

My name is Ronald McPherson. You don't know me, but I am writing to ask
you a question or two. Did you get your pharmacy degree at OSU? Was John
Chandler your roommate? If yes, please write to me. I am his partner and
I have news of him for you."

Hoping to get an answer,

Ron

Carl and John were roommates all through college. They were both good
looking and tall. Both of them were popular with the ladies. They often
double dated, but in the mid 1920's, young ladies did not give themselves
before they had a wedding ring on the appropriate finger. Unfortunately
the boys often returned to their room with raging hardons and colorful blue
balls. They would discreetly whack off under the covers those nights,
spilling their seed into purloined toilet paper.

While they were still freshman, they returned to their room one night after
a date, and Carl was in a highly agitated state. His date had let him pet
her, kiss her, and caress her breasts, but she stopped him short of
anything more. She never let her hand wander below his belt. The minute
they got home, Carl ripped off his clothing. He had a raging, fat,
seven-inch hardon. John had seen Carl naked before, but never in such an
advanced state of arousal.

"I can't wait," Carl yelled and he threw himself on his bed and started to
jerk off. "If I offend you, don't look," he said, "but I need to do this
badly."

John wasn't as worked up as Carl, but he undressed quickly, and began to
whack off also. Carl glanced over at his roommate. He was very impressed
at how well endowed John was, and somehow it made him even hotter, and he
came quickly, screaming loudly. That put John over the top, and he came
noisily as well. The boys lay silently for a moment, rubbing their copious
cum all over their bodies. Then they turned to each other and smiled.

"That was fun," Carl said. "We should do it again."

"As often as you like," John said. "Let's shower now."

One night, shortly after their first `encounter', John returned from a
date. It was his turn to be highly turned on without relief. He ripped
off his clothes as Carl watched with a grin.

"You're going to do it? Aren't you?" Carl asked. John just nodded, threw
himself on his bed, and began to whack off. Carl got out of bed.

"Move over," Carl said. "Let me help you with that."

John was stunned, but he didn't stop Carl, who took over the stroking.
John came in record time, and Carl took the cum that remained in his hand,
and he swallowed it. He rubbed the excess cum all over John's chest. John
had his eyes closed, and he felt Carl's lips on his. It felt so nice that
John kissed him back.

For all their remaining days in college, they masturbated each other quite
often. They both wanted to explore male sex further, but they were afraid
to do so. They continued to take out women, and tried hard to get laid,
but to no avail. John entered marriage as a twenty-five-year-old virgin,
as far as women were concerned. To his credit, he didn't consider the act
of masturbating his friend to be sex either. He truly believed that he was
a bona-fide virgin when he first penetrated Hope.

Less than a week after he mailed his letter to Carl, Ron got a letter from
him:

Dear Ron:

When I got your letter, I nearly passed out. It's a good thing there was a
chair close by. I literally collapsed into it. I have never stopped
thinking about John, and regret every day that we did not stay in touch.
Yes, a resounding yes, I do want to reconnect with him.

Please tell me. When you say that you are his partner, can you be more
specific? What kind of partnership are you referring to? Professional or
otherwise?

My telephone number is CL7-4130 in Toledo. They are about to change it to
257-4130. Please call me any evening after 8 PM. Let's arrange to get
together.

Carl H

That evening Ron went into his old bedroom, which was vacant. He carefully
closed the door. There was still a working phone in the room that he
quickly used to call Carl. He dialed O and asked for the long distance
operator. She was happy to put him through to Toledo. A deep male voice
answered.

"Hello. Is this Carl?" Ron asked.

"No, this is Vince. I'll get my father. Can I ask who is calling?"

"Ron McPherson. He's expecting my call."

"If you say so. Hold on. I'll get him."

The phone was silent for nearly two minutes, and then Ron heard, "Ron, this
is Carl. Thanks so much for calling."

"Is Vince really your son? Do you have any other children?" Ron just had
to know.

"He's really my son," Carl chuckled. He didn't have to wonder what Ron was
getting at.

"That's great. John has five sons."

"Vince is my only child. I divorced when Vince was five, but when he
graduated college this past June, he moved in with me and Greg. Greg's son
graduated with Vince last June. They introduce each other as brothers.
The boys just moved back in until they could find jobs, and decide where
they are going. Greg's son has a friend in your home town, Ron, and he and
that friend decided that whoever got a job first, the other would move
there."

"Who is Greg to you?" Ron asked.

"I asked you first. Who is John Chandler to you?"

"I think we both know the answer to those questions," Ron said. "John told
me about the relationship you two had in college, limited as it was."

"Ron, I want to see John so badly. Let's you and I arrange it, please. We
are planning a family get together for Christmas. Perhaps we could get
together over the New Year weekend. Let me check with Greg to see if he
can go to Canton with me. Greg's son is visiting his friend in Canton for
the New Year holiday, so maybe he'll want to go to Canton to meet the
friend as well as John. I'll try to get my son, Vince, to come with us
also."

"I'd like to surprise John, so I'll wait until I hear if you can come to
us. If not, I'll have to let the cat out of the bag, and see if John wants
to go to Toledo. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you. Please make
it ASAP."

"I will, and thank you, Ron, for setting this up. I can't tell you how
grateful I am."

Ron gave Carl his work number, and two days later, Ron got a call from him.
New Year's Eve fell on a Friday night. He, Greg and Vince would be driving
to Canton Friday morning, and should arrive there in the early afternoon.
Greg's son was driving down two days earlier. He had given Greg the
telephone number where he was staying. Greg was going to meet his son's
friend at last, and he was very excited at everything that was happening.

Christmas came, and the Chandler family was all together again for dinner
on Christmas Eve. George was a senior in college, Harry was a junior and
he and Jane were engaged to be married. They wanted to marry even though
he was facing four years of medical school. Jane said, she would work and
help her husband get through medical school. She was studying to be a
teacher.

Ron outdid himself with his Christmas dinner. He actually found a goose in
a butcher shop, and made goose instead of turkey. "All we need to make
this perfect," Frank said, "is Tiny Tim at the table." Everybody laughed.
When the laughter died down, Junior said that he had an announcement.

"I've finally landed a job with Price Waterhouse." Everybody cheered.

"There's a but," Junior continued. "The job is in Columbus." John and Ron
felt a knife penetrate their guts, but they smiled and wished their son
well.

"What about Carson?" John asked.

"He's coming here for New Year's and we are driving to Columbus the day
after to look for an apartment, and to see what he can do about getting
work. He majored in business administration. There are so many big
companies in Columbus. We are very optimistic."

"You'll be just fine," Ron stated with assertion.

George stood up next. "I've got big news also," George said. "I've been
accepted to Harvard Law School. David has secured a job teaching math at a
high school in Boston. We'll be moving shortly after graduation."

"Wow," John said. Everyone is leaving us. Next year Harry will
undoubtedly be accepted to a medical school quite distant from here, and
we'll lose him and Jane also."

"Well, Dad," Gerry said. Frank and I have every intention of taking over
the drug store, and putting you out to pasture so you're stuck with us."

"Thank God," Ron said.

The dinner was joyous, but a bit bitter sweet. It didn't matter. The
family knew that however distant life took them, their love for each other
would remain constant.

That night in bed, Ron held John close. For all his bravado, he was crying
inside, and now in bed, he was shedding real tears. Ron kept thinking of
the surprise John would get in a week, and he prayed it would lift his
spirits. Ron had alerted the rest of the family to the surprise reunion,
and they all agreed to be home, when the surprise arrived Friday after
lunch. After that they could run off to their various parties and
celebrations.

John didn't know why everyone was hanging out in his home that next Friday
afternoon, but he didn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth. It was
rare for the whole family to be together those days. To Ron, every minute
seemed to be an hour that day. Finally at about 2 PM, the doorbell rang.
Ron ran to open it. There stood two middle age men, both tall and
handsome. Behind them stood an even better looking young man who looked
like a football player.

Ron took the hand of the man nearest the door. "I'm Ron," he said.
"Please come in."

"Who's there?" John yelled from the living room. Ron ushered the three men
into the living room. He pointed at Carl and said, "John, I think you know
this gentleman."

John recognized Carl immediately. He ran to him and wrapped his arms
around his old friend. He couldn't talk so he just held him as tight as he
could.

In the meantime Greg and Vince kept staring at Carson in disbelief.

"Dad," Carson yelled, "is that really you."

"Your young man must be one of John's five sons," Greg said incredulously.

"Yes, Pop. The eldest."

The rest of the room just stared at the scene with their mouths hanging
open.

Vince said out loud to nobody in particular, "It's been tough being the
only straight guy in a gay family, and now it's getting worse."

"Tell me about it," Harry said. He got up and extended his hand to Vince.
"I'm Harry," he said. "Until now I've been the only straight brother in
the family. I've got an ally at last."

To be continued...
