-Chapter 2: Noah's Submission-

The buildings in the resort are painted in bright colours.
Brightly coloured artwork adorns the walls. The floors are made
out of marbles and tiles designed to stay cool. Fans and air
conditioners keep them cool from the Caribbean heat. The
Fosters, having flown, landed and checked in, sit in the main
restaurant together for lunch. Noah eats quickly; the boy is
anxious to get to the beach.

"You need to digest your food before you can go swimming.
Unpack and then we'll meet at the beach," mom says. Caleb
smirks as he finishes the last bit of his food. Noah gives him
a shove as the four of them walk back to the rooms. On either
side of the pathways are well manicured gardens filled with
little statues and tropical plants. The smell and sound of the
ocean is present throughout the resort. The saltiness of the
air increases as they get closer to their building, one of the
ones closest to the beach.

Caleb locks the door with a click once he is alone with
Noah. Noah goes over to his suitcase, sitting on the bench at
the foot of his bed. Caleb looks at his brother's slender
frame. From the angle, Noah suddenly looks older than he
usually does. A ray of sunshine makes his skin look slightly
rougher. He has been getting taller. As Caleb watches his
brother, the sound of Noah's breathing and whimpering from last
night flood his mind once again. Noah retrieves his swim trunks
and walks towards the bathroom.

"Where are you going?" Caleb asks.

"To change."

"Why don't you just change out here?"

"Don't be gross."

Caleb sniggers. "Suit yourself." When Noah shuts the
bathroom door, Caleb goes to the mini fridge and finds a cold
can of beer. He cracks it and begins to unpack his suitcase.
Noah comes out of the bathroom, his shorts and underwear changed
to swimming trunks.

"Hey, what's that?" Noah asks. He goes back to his own
suitcase and looks for himself, before Caleb can answer. "Cool!
Can I have one? You won't tell mom and dad, will you?"

Caleb turns to his brother and smiles. He can feel himself
growing, down there, because of the anticipation. Noah has
given him something he can use. Caleb hesitates for a moment.
He knows that what he is doing is also wrong. Noah is his
brother; his younger brother no less. He is supposed to help
him and protect him. Noah's skin is moist from sweat. The air
conditioning in the room is helping though. The boy looks
delicious. Caleb takes another sip of his beer, and cannot
resist.

"Nah, you're not old enough," Caleb says.

"Well neither are you!"

"That's true. I meant to say you're not mature enough."

"What do you mean? I am so! Mom says I'm very mature for
my age." Noah will turn thirteen tomorrow, and there is nothing
a boy that age wants more than to feel that he is all grown up.

"Well, you're not even mature enough to change in front of
me."

"Why do you want me to change in front of you anyway? Why
are you being such a pervert?"

Caleb laughs. "I'm not, Noah. I don't want you to change
in front of me. I'm just trying to help you."

"Help me how?" Noah's face is turning red.

"What do you think is going to happen next year, when you
have to shower after gym class? If you get used to being naked
around other guys, it won't be a big deal. So if you practice
doing that around me, next year things will be easier when you
have to do it."

Caleb goes back to putting away his clothes, letting Noah
think about what he said.

"Oh," he says finally. Caleb knows he has never led his
brother astray; he has always been there to help Noah, and the
boy trusts him.

"Look, how about this?" Caleb says. "Mom won't let us swim
for an hour anyway. And it's just us in the room. How about if
I go first? I'll take off mine, and then you take off yours,
and then I'll let you try your first beer."

Noah does not respond. He begins to put his own clothes
away, knowing that mom will probably check later that they did
as they were told.

"I-I don't know ..." Noah says, his voice shaking a bit.

"What's the matter?"

"Nothing."

"I won't make fun of you or anything," Caleb says. He
knows how Noah thinks; he knows what goes through his brother's
head when the boy gives one word answers in a dejected tone.

"Promise?" Noah says, brightening up just a little bit.

"Yeah. Come here." Caleb leads his brother to the seating
area of the room. He puts his beer down on the coffee table,
and retrieves a second one from the fridge for Noah. Caleb
quickly strips off his shirt, shorts and underwear. He sits on
the couch and picks up his beer. "There you go. Your turn."

...

Noah is still standing. He is looking at Caleb, taking in
his body. Caleb knows he is probably noticing the things he
himself does not have. Caleb has hair under his arms, and on
his legs too. Though it is neatly trimmed, there is a crop of
hair above his fully grown penis. It is semi erect; it is
taking all of Caleb's willpower to keep it that way, to keep it
from fully extending. He takes another sip of his beer,
allowing Noah to take in his nicely toned body, hoping it will
make the boy more comfortable.

Noah seems to be going over it in his head, his face
strained with concentration. Caleb looks up at the boy and
smiles. It is a reassuring smile, and it is all that Noah
needs. The boy smiles, a bit mischievously like a little boy
about to do something naughty, and he pushes his trunks to the
floor. The boy reveals an erection; albeit a smaller one than
his big brother's. Despite being hard, his foreskin still
covers the tip. Caleb can not hold it in. He looks at Noah,
seeing the small, sparse hairs above Noah's boyhood. His
erection grows fully and Noah can see the tip of his brother's
penis just slightly out of the foreskin. The two brothers,
immediately, start to laugh.

...

Noah settles into the couch next to his brother. He sits
right up against him, and Caleb hands him the beer.

"Nobody likes the taste of beer the first time they try
it," Caleb says. "So just take a small sip. Take your time and
get yourself used to it."

Noah looks at the can with fascination. He cracks it like
a soda can and watches it fizzle for a moment. He takes a sip,
and makes a face. He looks at his brother.

"It's gross."

"Told you," Caleb says. He finishes off his own, and puts
his arm around Noah's shoulder. He pulls the boy close to him,
like he has done so many times, though never when they have been
naked. "This is cool," he says. "I'm glad mom and dad got us
our own room, so we can do stuff together like this."

"Yeah," Noah says excitedly. "Caleb?"

"Yeah."

"Thanks for not making fun of me, you know, because it's
kind of small," he says sheepishly. Noah's face is red, and
Caleb knows that if it were not for the beer, the boy would have
felt too embarrassed to say that.

"Why would I make fun of you? You don't have to worry
about the size, you know. You're only twelve. It'll grow."

"Hey, I'm thirteen!"

"Sorry kiddo, but you're not actually thirteen until
tomorrow."

"I guess that's true. Hey, do you think we're going to see
a lot of fish?"

"Yeah. We'll see lots. It's going to be great."

Noah giggles as Caleb pulls his face towards him and kisses
his cheek. Caleb squeezes Noah's shoulder. It is all he can do
to keep himself from exploring the boy's body further; from
touching Noah in places he knows he should not.

...

The boys finish unpacking and pulling on their trunks. The
beach seems to stretch for miles. There are young boys and
girls playing volleyball. Some people are in the ocean. The
smell of sunscreen lingers around them as tourists relax on the
beach, taking in the sun and sipping on colourful drinks. Mom
and dad have found a spot to relax and take a nap. Noah and
Caleb leave their shirts on one of the chairs and take their
snorkelling equipment out of the bags.

It is an entirely different world, under the turquoise
water. The sun shines through it, letting the boys see clearly
down to the sand. Schools of skittish fish swim, shooting away
from the boys as they approach. Noah points here and there,
constantly telling Caleb where to look, showing his brother the
fish. Caleb knows that Noah can recognize the names of all the
fish; he can recite them without even thinking.

Caleb follows Noah through the water, immersing himself in
the water, forgetting about what happened earlier. He wants to
enjoy this experience. Every time he does something with Noah,
his little brother makes the experience that much better.
Noah's passion and excitement at the prospect of anything new is
infectious. The way he looks up to Caleb makes Caleb feel
proud. He loves touching the boy; holding him and cuddling him.
Hugging him and kissing him. Noah responds to his big brother's
touch the same way a little boy responds to being tickled by his
mother.

It is apparent that the beer is affecting Noah. He is
darting back and forth, getting distracted by every sight of a
new fish. They swim deeper into the ocean water. There is no
danger for the boys; they are staying on the surface of the
water because of their snorkels. And they are both excellent
swimmers. They are comfortable in the water and they will look
out for each other. Noah waves his hand and motions for Caleb
to follow him. He turns, heading towards a school of a new type
of fish that he spots. Caleb cannot see the fish, but after a
few moments of swimming, he sees something else.

It was definitely on the larger side of things; drifting
there gently in the water.

"Noah!" Caleb calls. There is no noise through the water,
of course. Noah does not hear. Caleb has to get the water out
of his mouth and put his snorkel back in. He swims faster,
trying to get to his brother. He can see, from the way Noah is
swimming, that the boy does not see the creature.

Caleb is close to his brother, but it is too late. Noah's
body jerks in a spasm as the tentacles of a large jellyfish
brush the inside of his thigh. Noah spins around and sees what
stung him. He swims away quickly, despite the pain he must be
feeling from the sting. Caleb follows him, the boys swimming as
quickly as they can. They slide up onto the beach, on their
backs so their flippers do not get in the way. They fling their
masks and snorkels over their backs.

"Are you okay?" Caleb asks, grabbing his fins and running
up to his brother.

"It hurts it hurts it hurts ..." Noah says, repeatedly.

"Shit," Caleb says.

Caleb takes the snorkeling gear. Noah, holding onto his
thigh, hobbles back to mom and dad. A jellyfish sting is not
serious, but it is painful.  The boys find their parents asleep;
the remnants of brightly coloured drinks on the sand beside
their chairs. The words `jellyfish sting' repeat themselves in
Caleb's head; the only thing for a while that has now taken his
mind off the beauty of his brother's body.

Noah looks up at his brother with pleading eyes. He does
not know what to do and he does not want to wake his parents.

"Come on Noah," Caleb says firmly. He dumps the gear on
one of the empty beach chairs and puts his arm around his
brother. "Let's get back to the room; I know what to do."

...

The empty cans of beer the boys had left on the coffee
table are gone. Towels folded into swans adorn their beds.
Caleb and Noah's room is in one of the villas closest to the
beach. Despite the short walk, the sun has dried their skin.
They step into the refreshing coolness of the air conditioned
room. The rooms have high ceilings and brightly coloured tiles.
White drapes that were earlier drawn are open, allowing the
bright, Caribbean sunshine into the room. Noah's skin glows in
the light.

Caleb has not taken his arm off his brother for the
duration of the walk. He knows how to comfort his brother. He
leads the boy into the bathroom. The floor in here is marble,
and cool under their feet. The marbled counter contains two
sinks; the boys' toiletries separated beside each one. The maid
neatened it up, when she was there earlier that day. There is a
large tub, as well as a glass enclosed shower. The ocean has
left Noah smelling like salt.

Noah's face is red. Once in the bathroom, Caleb lets go of
him. He leans against the countertop and looks at his brother,
desperately needing to be told what to do. Caleb looks back at
Noah, still wracking his brain. Even though he knows what he
needs to do, he is unsure that it will work.

"Noah, I need you to do exactly as I say. Understand?"

"Yes Caleb. I will," the boy says, his voice shaking with
desperation. "I will do whatever you say. Just make it stop."
