     The Cruise

     Chapter 3
     A Private Show


Today is the day we are going on our real vacation. We will be on the boot
for two weeks. I helped Blake pack the night before. My dad said it is
going to be an hour car ride to get to the boot. I wondered what was there
to do on a boot.  After a long ride we were finally on the boot. Blake and
I had our one cabin. Our folk's cabin was just two doors down.  We saw a
list of things to do on the ship.  They had pools and hot tubs, spas, game
room, bowling alley, a theater that shows live acts, restraints, gift shop
and room service. Blake and I looked at the type of shows they had. They
had comedy acts magic acts and talent show. We decided to see the talent
show.  We looked to see what the times and the days.  Tuesdays and
Thursdays at 2:30 4:30 6:30 and 8:30 the shows where. We were going to see
the show at 2:30 tomorrow.

"So what are we going to do until then?" Blake asked.

"We can go to the pool" I said.

"That is a good idea but don't we have to ask mom and dad?"

"Yah we do." I said.

So off we went to find out if we can or not. We knocked on the door and
waited. My dad was the one opened the door. There room looked better than
ours.

"Dad can Alec and I go to the pool? He is old enough to watch me."

My dad looked at our mom and back at us.

"Well I don't see why not. We will join you in fifteen minutes"

Blake jumped up for joy and hugged mom and dad. When we went back to our
room we read the rules for the pool. They where the common rules; no
running, running, hors playing, must be companied by an adult if you are
younger then a current age. Then we came across the last rule. Must take
shower before entering pool and or hot tub. I guess it made sense. So we

say he was going to see the talent show tomorrow and asked if they would

in the pool it became lunch time.  We went back to our room and took
another shower. I could tell Blake cannot wait for tomorrow. I wondered
what kind of talents we will be seeing. When we went to the restraint Blake
saw the boys again. He just waved as we walking to our table. There was so
much good stuff to eat. I did not know what I should eat. When it came to
ordering I picked the veal paragon. It was big plate and good.  I eat the

act. After the show the boys went up to Blake.

"So, what did you thought of our act?" One of the asked.

"We missed it. We would have made it if we did not get lost." Blake said.

"We will show you in our room." The first boy said.

"Where is your room and what time should we be there?" Blake asked.

"Why not now; it will only take two minutes to get there." The other boy

As we were walking we stopped by our folk's room to tell them where we will
be. To my surprise there room was next to ours.  When we came in there room
looked the same. The boys started to move the table and chairs for more
room.

"Do you mind if we take this off? It gets real hot in this." One of the
boys asked.

"I don't mind. By the way what are your names?" I asked

"My name is Nick and I am nine."

"I am Steve and I am ten."

in front of us. As they were doing so I saw that they did not have any

none of them came in. Nick and Steve looked at each other and looked at us.
