This story is pure fiction as are all the characters, it's totally from my
imagination with a bit taken from my fantasies. Thanks once again to all
of you who have taken the time to e-mail your comments, here's Chapter 10
of "The Love of Brothers".

"The Love of Brothers"

Chapter 10

Frank, Jack, Mark, and Sam were running for the pond when Stan, Lance,
Roger, and the Marines came chasing after them stopping only long enough to
remove their clothes before diving in. As the Marines came up for air,
Frank, Jack and the kids were on top of them dunking them underwater,
climbing on their backs, splashing and just having one heck of a great
time. Lance and the other guys started tossing the kids into the air and
watching them splash down and swim underwater trying to get away. Once
across the pond Frank, Jack, and the boys headed for land and raced around
to the Oak tree where there was a rope they used to swing across the water
and come crashing down on the Marines.

With laughter ringing out, Warren called, "time out!"...everyone stopped as
he said, "Mark, Sam out of the water NOW!" When they were on shore Warren
said he needed to check on the boys to make sure they weren't over doing it
with their injuries. Leaning over Mark, Warren was amazed at the fact that
there was absolutely no sign of the injuries that were there only two days
earlier. Kneeling beside Mark's head, he stretched out across Mark's body
running his hands down Mark's legs searching for signs of bruising when
Mark slipped between Warren's legs sucking his cock into his mouth, causing
Warren to cry out, "what the heck is......." before he could finish his
sentence Brad stepped up and slid his eight inch cock down Warren's throat.
The scent and taste of Brad's cock fucking his face, along with Mark
sucking on his cock had Warren so turned on he didn't think he could take
anymore stimulation until he felt someone
licking his ass and probing his hole with a very talented tongue, which
meant it had to be Chuck, obviously running the business of the farm wasn`t
his only talent.

Once Chuck had him lubed and loosened up with his tongue, he pressed his
cock head against Warren's hole and forced his way in. Once inside he
waited a minute to let Warren adjust to having his hole filled before
pushing in balls deep. Mark's brother Sammy crawled between his legs and
started to suck Mark's already dripping cock as Mark continued to suck
Warren's cock down his throat. Brad was busy feeding Warren's face with
his cock when he felt someone licking his own hole, turning he saw Kentucky
spreading his ass cheeks to get better access as he ran his tongue over
Brad's more than willing ass. Kentucky was working Brad's hole loose with
his tongue and fingers getting him ready to receive the fucking of his life
as Chuck continued to fuck Warren. One hot six man sex orgy was taking
place on the grass as......(If you readers can keep who's doing what to
whom straight, you're way ahead of me and I'm the one writing this).

Slim, Stan, Roger, Lance, Jack, and Frank had their own daisy chain going
full steam when Frank called for everyone to shift positions so they were
now sucking the cock of the man who had been sucking theirs. Just as
everyone was about to explode Slim called for a nipple pinch, each man
reached up and tweaked the nipples of the guy he was sucking which turned
out to be more stimulation then they could bare bringing each man to a
massive climax, spilling their seed down the next guys throat in a
simultaneous cum fest. The guys in the six man orgy taking place next to
them went wild seconds later with cum filling throats and shooting deep
into asses just before everyone collapsed into a heap of sweaty, happy, and
very exhausted men.

They all ended up back in the pond before drying off and heading back in to
the farm, David, Mary, and Elizabeth must be wondering where everyone went
off to. Slim and Roger needed to get started on the BBQ they had planned
as a celebration of the boys rather miraculous recovery. Returning to the
farm they found Elizabeth and Mary preparing snacks as they both explored
the kitchen that was a chef's dream come true. It was better equipped than
any restaurant kitchen Elizabeth had ever worked in. She also couldn't get
over the beautiful apartment that was to be hers, complete with a fireplace
and furnishings that were fit for royalty. Mark and Sam had their own
apartment down in the bunkhouse with the other guys which was furnished in
a grand but more masculine decor. They were given the choice of being in
the main house close to their mom or having an apartment in the bunkhouse
with the guys, needless to say they chose the bunkhouse, who
 wouldn't?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following day Slim and Roger were finishing the clean up from that
mornings breakfast crowd at the café, when a very tall, very handsome
black man came in and sat at the counter. Roger thought he looked familiar
but couldn't quite place him. He asked for a cup of coffee and something
sweet to have with it. Slim said the coffee was top notch, but the only
thing he had sweet were some store bought Danish that were a long way from
being anything he personally would consider edible. Roger and Slim
introduced themselves and shook hands with what turned out to be Gil
"Stretch" Johnson a former NBA basketball player.

Roger said he thought he recognized him but wasn't sure, "what are you
doing way up here in Michigan farm country?" "I heard about a gay friendly
community developing in this area and since retiring I figured I wanted to
live the rest of my life as who I am, and I happen to be a gay man who's
tired of hiding the truth". Slim said, "We're not sure how the word's
getting out since we don't advertise ourselves but we're hearing more and
more people tell us they've heard about this area". Gil asked why they
didn't have fresh baked goods in the café and was told that there wasn't a
bakery within fifty miles of the area. "That's interesting, I grew up
working in my dad's bakery in Fayetteville". "Sounds like it might be a
great place to start my own bakery, by the way who designed this building,
the architecture is wonderful". Slim asked Gil if he could stick around
the area until closing time and they'd take
him up to The Meadows and introduce him to Stan and Lance. "They have
architects that can do just about anything you'd like". "If you guys are
willing to take the time to do that, I'm more than willing to stick around,
I'll just drive around and see if there's some land available close by to
build on". "We close at seven thirty if you want to stop back then".
"Okay, see you then guys".

Later that evening Gil followed Slim and Roger to the farm where he was
introduced to Lance and Stan. Mary was in the kitchen pouring coffee to go
with the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies Elizabeth was just taking out
of one of the ovens. The ladies hardly got the coffee and cookies set down
in the living room where the men were discussing business when in came Mark
and Sammy asking if they could have a cookie. Their mom asked, "how did
you two know I was baking cookies, you couldn't possibly have smelled them
all the way down to the bunkhouse". Sam said, "we were watching Jack and
Frank put the horses through their paces when Frank rode over to us and
said, we'd better hurry up to the house if we wanted some warm chocolate
chip cookies. "Frank?, how'd he know I was baking cookies, he hasn't been
in here since noon?" Mary put her arm around Elizabeth and said, "don't
ask, it's one of those things you'll never figure
out but you'll learn to appreciate, like how quickly your sons healed".
"You'll soon learn this place is special in many ways".

Lance and Stan introduced Mark and Sammy as two of their sons, which
brought both of the boys running for a hug before grabbing a few more
cookies and heading back down to the bunkhouse. Gil was told by Stan and
Lance that they were more than happy to have him join their small
community, especially if he was planning on starting a bakery, and they
would have their architects get in touch with him in a few days. Gil said
he'd like to follow the architectural theme of the café, different, but
similar, if that would be okay with them. The guys replied that they
thought that was a good idea and hoped other's moving in would do the same.
Gil mentioned that while driving around he noticed a number of farm houses
that were exquisitely done and a few others that were in a state of
remodeling. This was surprising since he'd heard Michigan was in pretty
bad shape economically. Lance explained that within the last year there
were some fairly wealthy
gays moving into the area buying up farms at more than fair market value
giving the locals here a boast economically.

Most of the local folks have already been hired to run the farms and keep
the profits which has made a whole lot of people very happy. Stan added
that most of the guys moving into the area that they had met so far,
appeared to be loving and kind hearted men who were looking for a place to
fit in, they'd heard about us and wanted to become a part of what was
happening here. When we ask how they happen to hear about us no one can
ever give us a definitive answer, it's always the same story, we just heard
about you, not sure where or how.

Lance asked Gil if he had a partner, Gil said that he did not and it was
totally his own fault. He had met some great gays in and out of the NBA
that would have made wonderful lovers, but his fear of being discovered
kept him from making any commitments, which he sincerely regretted now.
Stan said, "the way gays are moving in, you just may discover Mr. right
walking right into your bakery one day. Gil actually blushed at the
thought, making everyone laugh. "I've never been anyplace where I felt
more welcome and comfortable then I am sitting right here in this room with
all of you".

David spoke up as he walked into the room and saw Gil, that's because you
just walked into one of the those very special places that exists on planet
Earth". "Gil you have been one of my favorite players in all the years
I've been hooked on watching basketball, I'm sorry you retired so young,
but very happy that you turned up here". Stan said, "Gil this is my
father, David Lockhart, and Mary is my mother, they've been adopted by
everyone here as their parents so they're kind of stuck with all of us as
their kids I guess" Mary said, "yes and we couldn't be more proud of all
our kids".

Elizabeth was still digesting that fact that Lance and Stan had introduced
Mark and Sammy as their sons. Fighting back tears she could only think of
how lucky she was to have become a part of this wonderful accepting family.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eight months later Gil opened his bakery in the best looking shop he could
ever had imagined. The architects really out did themselves when they
designed this place. If only pop could see this, he would be so proud.
The architects had designed it with an exhaust fan the blew the sweet scent
of freshly baked goods out onto the sidewalk in front of the bakery, making
it almost impossible for anyone to walk by without coming in to buy
something.

Winter set in with a vengeance creating a Christmas card like picture of
snow covered farms with a tiny village with a café and a bakery. Mark was
now working at the café and driving his brother Sammy to school each
morning. On Marks nineteenth birthday he woke to find a registration and
set of keys laying on his nightstand for a new four-wheel-drive Jeep which
was parked near their apartment in the bunkhouse. He and Sam were yelling
so loud everyone was soon up congratulating him and admiring his new
possession. Jack put his arm around Sam and whispered in his ear that he
hoped Sam was looking forward to his graduation present, hint, hint,
Sammy's smile lit up like the fourth of July fireworks. "Do you think we
can keep this our little secret until then Sammy?" "No problem Jack, you
guys are absolutely the best there is".

Without telling anyone, Stan's parents had bought the large farm that
bordered the Meadows. The barns had been enlarged and redesigned to fit in
with the surrounding architecture. The old house had been leveled and a
huge English style mansion was going up in it's place. Lance had noticed a
large circular pad going in behind the barn which he thought a bit strange
but decided he'd have to wait until it was finished to find out what it was
for.

David and Mary were spending more and more time with the guys and had
become as much a regular part of the family as everyone else. Elizabeth
was pure magic in the kitchen, giving Slim and Roger a run for their money
with her gourmet cooking which kept a constant but loving rivalry going
between them. Sam had taken on the added responsibility of keeping the
drives and parking areas clean of snow using the tractor that now had a
snow blade attached. Lance and Stan had made arrangements with a gas
company to serve a gas station they were having built which increased their
tiny village to three buildings. They were having a small park landscaped
next to the café, when Roger and Slim noticed a sign on the land on the
other side of the park that read "Haberdashery coming soon". Roger called
Lance and asked if he knew about anything about it, Lance called to Stan
and asked if he was aware of it and he said he wasn't. "We'll check on it
and get
back to you and Slim as soon as we know anything Roger".

That evening at dinner Frank looked at Mary and David and said, "don't you
think it's time you let Lance and Stan in our your plans?" Stan and Lance
looked up and both said, "what plans?" Mary and David both laughed and
said they were wondering how long it would take before Frank made them
spill the beans. "Frank, you were aware of plans by Mary and David and
didn't let us in on them?" ~~You two aren't the only ones who like to
surprise people, it's time you were on the receiving end of a few surprises
yourselves~~. Lance replied "I guess you're right Frank, you really did
catch us off guard, but we still don't no what's going on". David asked,
"Frank's right about what Lance?" "What he just said about surprising
people". Mary started laughing, "Lance, Frank didn't say anything, at
least anything that the rest of us heard". Lance and Stan both turned and
looked at Frank. "Sorry dads, I should
have warned you that thought was headed your way". I try to avoid my mind
link going from me to others unless it's a necessity as it was when David
and Mary needed rescuing in Ethiopia. That one sort of slipped out.

David interrupted by saying, "getting back to Mary's and my plan, we wanted
to surprise you with the information that we're the one's who bought the
property bordering on yours and we're hoping that it's okay with all of
you. "We were talking last night and had come to the conclusion that we
should have come to you guys before going ahead with things, so we do
apologize for springing this on you". Stan said, "I can't believe you
would leave Boston and come here to be close to us, that's wonderful to
hear, at least for me". Lance and the others agreed that this was great
news and how fantastic it would be to have them living so close by. Lance
added, "I'm guessing that the pad that was put in behind the barn is a
landing pad for your helicopter". "Yes, we had it placed way to the north
end behind the barn so your horses wouldn't be frightened when it was in
use".

Mary added "well there's more to it yet, we've purchased a large parcel of
land next to the park that you're developing, but we haven't made any firm
commitments until we discussed the details with you". Lance asked if Mary
was referring to the Haberdashery sign, she and David said yes that David
has thought about opening a clothing store for years and when we saw this
beautiful area we thought that it would be a good place to for us to follow
through on that dream. "Well we could sure use a nice store here since
we're so far away from any major cities". David pulled out a roll of
architectural drawings he and Mary had the architects make for them, and
spread them on the floor for everyone to see.

Lance said, "it looks like something off a Burl and Ives Christmas card,
it's beautiful it'll fit right in with the other shops that have been
built, what do you think guys?" Everyone agreed that it was needed and
would be a great addition to the village. Jack wanted to know where people
would park, it didn't look like there was a parking lot anywhere in the
plans. David explained that other than curb parking on the street that fit
in with the rest of the village setting, there would be underground
parking, they didn't want to spoil the beauty of the village by adding a
big parking lot. "We wanted the shop to be surrounded by flowers and trees
as you see in the drawings". Lance and Stan asked when they thought they
would get started building and David said "as soon as you give us your
okay". "Our okay, you don't need our okay it's your land", Mary added, "oh
but we do, you see there is nothing we'd even consider
doing if it didn't meet your approval".

Everyone agreed on the plans and there was a growing excitement in the air
as they realized their little piece of paradise was growing to include many
others. Lance asked if they thought having a Christmas party at the
Meadows and inviting all the new arrivals to join us would be a good idea
so everyone could be a part of what was taking place. Frank said, "do you
suppose your architects would mind drawing up plans for an entire village
showing the possible addition of buildings for things like a fire
department, small health clinic, Veterinary hospital, church and other
things that would be welcome additions"? Upon hearing church, Mary light
up, "I was wondering if there would be a church close by, that's something
I miss attending each Sunday".

Stan looked at Frank with a big grin on his face, "what a great idea Frank,
let's do it and we can share it with everyone at the Christmas party and
get their input and ideas".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Christmas party had been a success with nearly seventy-five people
showing up with ideas coming in from everyone. David and Mary's
Haberdashery was in the framing stages and it was going to be called "David
and Mary's Haberdashery", how original is that? It turned out that Warren
had friends in New York City who operated a small clinic who were planning
a trip to the Meadows to discuss the possibility of moving their clinic to
Michigan. Dr. Glen Harrelson and his partner Gary Summers who was an RN
would be arriving May twenty-eighth. There were already architectural
drawings for a clinic for them to look at and consider.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A year later the village had grown considerably, and was named simply, "The
Hamlet" by unanimous agreement of everyone in the surrounding area. The
streets had been paved with paving bricks, and lined with beautiful Maple
trees. There was now the Café, David and Mary's Haberdashery, Dr. Glen
and Gary's clinic, a veterinary hospital operated by Jeff Collins who moved
in from L.A., Gil's Bakery, a fire department, gas station, ....and just
bring you up to date, Jeff and Gil seemed to be spending a lot of time
together and I doubt they were eating baked goods.

Continuing with a description of the new buildings, on a slight rise at the
end of the street there was a non-denominational church with large oak
doors made to swing open at the slightest touch, there was no latch or
lock. The building was built of stones local to the area with a high
pitched slate roof that matched the architectural style of the rest of the
village. To one side was a large rough hone cross with a brass plate at
the base that read, "Christ died for all you". The cross was surrounded by
large boulders set into the ground at angles so folks could sit on them,
just below the cross water bubbled up and splashed down over rocks into a
lily pond. Beyond the pond were Dogwood Trees interspersed with lilac
bushes. Flower gardens were just about everywhere throughout the lawns.
Along side the church was a cottage for the pastor, the architects didn't
miss a thing, the setting was idyllic.

To Mary's dismay after nearly a year passing there still wasn't a pastor.
Talking with Frank one day she mentioned this to him and his reply was that
the pastor, Joseph and his companion Aaron were on their way. Mary's heart
sank a little on hearing the pastor would already have a companion, she was
hoping someone would come along that would catch Elizabeth's eye. She was
still a fairly young and vibrant women who needed someone to love and be
loved by. Hardly before she had finished her thought Frank sent,
~~Elizabeth will find her mate do not concern yourself~~. She had to smile
to herself wondering how often Frank was aware of her thoughts.

Elizabeth came into the Haberdashery on a gorgeous spring morning with
coffee and sweet cakes from Gils bakery asking Mary if she would like to
join her in the church yard for a break. The Dogwoods and lilacs were in
bloom and the scent was heavenly. Mary and Elizabeth sat on a couple of
the boulders by the lily pond chatting when they noticed a tall man
approaching from down the street with a big yellow dog tailing along beside
him. He came into the church yard and seated himself on a boulder next to
Mary and Elizabeth wishing them a good morning, which they returned. The
dog laid his head in Elizabeth's lap looking up at her wishfully, she broke
off a piece of her sweet cake and shared it with him.

Mary notice the mans shoes were worn to a frazzle, his pants were old and
torn as well and the red flannel shirt he was wearing was threadbare, when
suddenly her eyes met his. "I've never in my life seen bluer eyes, they
radiated joy and happiness". His hair was blown every which way by the
wind and yet he was startlingly handsome in spite of his disarray.
Slightly embarrassed by her staring she said, "I'm Mary and this is my
friend Elizabeth, you're welcome to share our sweet cakes if you like". "I
believe I would enjoy a bite or two they look delicious". "I'm Joseph and
my companion here is Hank". Mary's thought, "Joseph" that was the name
Frank said the pastor would have but there's no Aaron with him. Before
catching herself she asked, "where's Aaron?" "He's busy teasing your
friend Elizabeth for more of her sweet cake". "But you said his name is
Hank". "Yup, Hank Aaron". "You wouldn't
happen to be our pastor would you?" I would be if you folks will have me.

Mary had to laugh thinking to herself, Frank you and I are going to have a
chat about your sense of humor, Hank Aaron indeed.

Noticing that Elizabeth and Joseph appeared to have caught one anothers
eye, She suggested the Elizabeth take Joseph and Hank to the cottage where
he could put his backpack down and freshen up before you show him through
the church. Elizabeth rose saying it would be her pleasure as she held out
her hand to Joseph which he took as they walked down the path with the
yellow dog trailing along with them.

As Mary started to the store, she glanced back to see Elizabeth, Joseph,
and Hank entering the pastor's cottage. Looking toward the sky she
whispered, "Thank you God for all your merciful blessings".
