From Chapter 18


The three of us then headed out to the backyard.

Everyone seemed to be having fun, with Ryan and Paul off to
the side talking.  Paul came over and said "Dad, Ryan is a
computer geek like me and works at Mr. Sorenson's law firm.
I called Ryan over and asked him if he would find having a
software person to assist him helpful.  Ryan told me that he
would like that very much.  I reach out and shook Paul's
hand and told him that if he wanted it, he had a job.  He
smiled broadly and thanked me.

It seems that the law firm just got bigger.  I told Paul to
come along with his dad and brother on Monday and he could
start right away.

Chapter 19

Sunday morning I woke up a few minutes before 7:00.  Seth

"You already have, Thomas designed the room and both worked
on and supervised the construction, both down here and other

well covered, and if he could get it done in the 7 days I

agreed and said that he and a crew would be over that
afternoon to begin.  I then called and got an associate
working on equipment, furniture, and so forth.  I then
called down to Ryan and asked him and Paul to meet us in
personnel.

I left all of them there and told them when done to come to
my office.
I called a favorite restaurant and made reservations for
lunch for Knight, Sean, Paul, Thomas, Ryan and myself.  By
11:15 everyone was back all set up as employees.  The guys
were very thankful for the jobs.  We then headed off to
lunch.  After lunch I asked Ryan to take Paul and Thomas
back to the office as the three of us had another stop to
make before we went back. Both had a puzzled look on their
faces but I told them to relax they would understand soon
enough.  I took them to see my old friend Mr. Caleb
Silverman.  When we entered the shop Sean's eyes got wide.
I just looked at him a told him to hush.  Mr. Silverman saw
us enter and came right over to help us.  I told Caleb that
we need a new set of rings.  I asked Sean what Star's
favorite jewel was.  He told me that Star really liked
sapphires.  Ever the pro, Caleb asked me if we wanted
something on the order of the other rings I had gotten.  I

"I will be right back" he said. He disappeared into the back
and returned with a try and a set of rings.  They were

Sean said.  "We will take it Mr. Silverman" I told Caleb.  I
handed him my corporate credit card and while he finished
the transaction I told Sean that we would work something
out.  The purchase being complete we headed back to the
office.  Sean said he was going to propose to Star that
night.  Once back at the office I had Knight go with my
secretary to find him a temporary office to use till the
third floor was ready.  I took Sean into my office and
closed the door.

"Now then Sean, about those rings, I think you need to make
a down payment on it now".  I reached over and undid his
belt.
