Extra special thanks to both Trenton and Brett, football experts for the
story. They gave me some great tips on this chapter!

And thanks to all you guys who emailed me after chapter six. I guess I'm
an email junkie, because I sure enjoy each one of them.

This chapter was a lot of fun to write. I hope all of you enjoy reading it
half as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Chapter Seven

(Kaiden narrates)

Gritting my teeth, I ran at the ball carrier with every ounce of strength
in my body, knocking the ball free and driving him to the ground.

A few moments earlier, the coach had taken a time out and gathered the team
around him. It was Thursday night, late in the fourth quarter of the first
away game of the season. The score was tied 14-14, and our opponents were
driving down the field. Looking back on it, if middle schools have
archrivals, Louisville was definitely ours! The Boulder Valley School
District covers a large, heavily populated area, and all of our opponents
that season were other schools within the district. Regardless of his
skill level, Coach tried to give every kid who went out for the team a
chance to play in each game. But it seemed like only the better players
got much playing time against Louisville.

"Guys, we've got to mix things up and try to get something going out
there!" Coach exclaimed, waving his arms at the team as he paced back and
forth. "Matthews ... I want you to play left outside linebacker."

Coach also shifted several other guys around. In practice, Coach had most
of us try several different positions. Some guys ... like Ryan
... excelled at one spot right away, but others of us got the chance to try
quite a few of them. I'd played linebacker a couple of times in
scrimmages, but never in a real game.

As the football bounced crazily, I scrambled for it, along with several
players from both teams. And I had it in my hands ... for a while, that
is. When the refs made everybody unpile, Louisville ended up with the
ball. Their running back had to leave the game with the wind knocked out
of him, but they still went on to win 17-14.

The mood was somber on the thirty-minute bus ride back to our school.

"Boys, you know how I hate to lose," Coach said, holding onto the pole, as
he stood in the front of the moving bus.

All eyes were on him as he walked down the aisle.

"And if I thought you boys weren't playing up to your potential, I'd be
letting you have it right about now." Coach paused for a long moment
before continuing with his thought. "There's a LOT we need to work on
... a WHOLE lot! But I did see some good play out there, too."

He stopped next to me.

"Matthews, that was some hit you put on their running back," Coach smiled,
putting a hand on my shoulder pads. "Just try to hold onto the ball next
time."

I nodded my head.

"I will," I said softly, pulling off my helmet as Coach encouraged a few
other players.

It had felt SO good to win last week, but I felt awful after this game. I
had let my teammates down. If only I could have kept my hands around the
ball!

"Guys ... in a lot of ways, football is like life," Coach continued with
another smile. "Sometimes you try your hardest to succeed, but you don't
quite make it.  When that happens to some people, they throw in the towel;
but others look at it as an opportunity to learn from their mistakes and
improve in the future."

He paused for a moment to let his words sink in.

"We're going to learn from our mistakes and be better next week," he added,
as he took his seat.

Most of the guys were pretty quiet on the ride back to our school, as we
took off our jerseys and pads. After unloading from the bus, everybody hit
the showers, without much fooling around. The locker room was sure a LOT
more fun after a win! And after we helped Eric with some final cleanup, we
collected our duffel bags, Eric turned out the lights and we left.

Nobody even mentioned jacking off!

Josh and Tim were standing around with a few other parents in the hallway
outside of the locker room. The twins' parents didn't make it to the away
game, so Carlos and David would be riding back to the ranch with us.

"Guys ... you both played your hearts out," Tim commented, draping an arm
around Ryan's and my shoulders. "David, I thought you and Carlos did a
good job, too."

"It sure doesn't FEEL that way," Carlos replied, as we slowly walked down
the hall.

"Well, I'm proud of all of you!" Tim continued with his thought.

"Same here," Josh added, tousling David's mop of damp, brown hair and
draping an arm over Carlos' shoulder.

On the way back to the ranch, Tim reminded us of something I'd almost
forgotten about ... with the football game, and all. We were going to be
models for a backpack photo shoot on Friday after school ... me and Ryan,
David, Carlos and Devon, too. In fact, we were gonna get out of school
early because of it! I never knew kids could get out of school for
something like that. Of course, you've still gotta know the stuff you
missed, when test time comes around.

"Tim," Carlos began, "Mom just bought each of us a couple pairs of cargos
and new hiking boots. And she's already laid out some shirts for David and
me to wear tomorrow."

"That's one of the side benefits of modeling ... new clothes," Tim laughed.

"I guess," David answered. "But do we have to take all that stuff to
school with us?"

"No," Tim replied, turning around in his seat, "Ben and I will get the
clothes from your mom and bring them with us when we pick you up from
school."

He looked around at all of us.

"All of you guys know to go to the office and check-out before your one
o'clock class, right?" Tim asked.

"Yeah, we'll be waiting for you and Ben, in the office ... along with
Devon," Ryan stated, as the rest of us nodded agreement.

"We SHOULD already be there waiting for YOU," Tim chuckled. "But one of
you call my cell phone, if we aren't."

That sounded good to all of us ... until Tim added, "And don't forget; you
need to get your homework assignments for the classes you'll miss."

"Damn ... I've still got homework to do tonight!" Ryan blurted out, as Josh
was parking the SUV near the ranch house.

"Me, too," I added, shaking my head.

"I've already finished mine," Carlos bragged, opening the car door.

And David said he'd done his, too.

"I bet it feels good to have your homework out of the way," Josh said to
the twins. And as they nodded, he turned to Ryan and me. "On Thursdays,
you two ought to take care of yours BEFORE the game ... like David and
Carlos."

Josh was right; but I guess it's easy to put off something you don't enjoy
doing. Maybe I hoped it would just go away ... but unfortunately it never
has! Anyway, after we said goodnight to David, Carlos and our dads, Ryan
followed me into my room.

"I guess we've gotta study," Ryan said dejectedly.

"Yeah," I responded, pulling my cell phone out of my pocket, before I fell
onto the bed. "But first, I want to call a guy Chris and I met back in
Missouri. His name is Steve, and he's done a lot of modeling for A&F.
Maybe he can give us some tips."

As I brought up my contact list, Ryan nodded.

"I wasn't planning on doing anything special," he said, pulling off his
t-shirt and plopping on the bed next to me. "Is he a kid, like us?"

"Well, he's WAY cooler than you!" I joked, dropping my phone on the bed for
the moment. "And he's fourteen."

Ryan and I tussled for a little while, before I pushed the button to dial
Steve's number. He answered on the third ring; and Steve said he'd been
taking a break from HIS homework.

"Damn, Kaiden," Steve said. "It's been a long time. How'd you know to
call me right now?"

I didn't know what he meant by that and I told him.

Steve laughed, "I was just laying on my bed, thinking about all the fun I
had with you and your brother that day; and my dick is about to poke a hole
in my shorts!"

He laughed again, saying he was rubbing it.

"Is Chris there with you?" he asked.

"Nah, he must be in his room. I'm here with Ryan," I replied, with a smile
towards my brother. "He's a new brother of ours."

Ryan perked up when he heard his name and the word brother mentioned at the
same time.

"Hey, Steve," he almost shouted.

"I didn't know you HAD another brother," Steve commented.

"I didn't, back when I met you," I laughed, shaking my head. "Actually,
I've got TWO new brothers. It's a long story, but maybe I can tell you
about it one of these days,"

"Okay," Steve responded. "Say, Kaiden ... do you still go swimming naked?"

"Um, yeah ... whenever I can," I replied with a big smile on my face.
"I've still got a dark, all-over tan. How about you?"

"Almost every day ... before school started, at least," Steve answered. "I
never knew how good it felt, until you showed me."

Just thinking about the fun we had with Steve, at the Lake of the Ozarks,
got me hard. We talked about swimming in the nude for a little while, and
both our schools. Then I brought up the real reason for my call.

"Steve ... you've done a lot of modeling, right?" I stated the question.

"Yeah, quite a bit, I guess," he replied. "Why?"

I laughed.

"Tomorrow, Ryan and I ... along with some of our friends ... are gonna be
doing some modeling for our dad and his partner," I said. "And we don't
know what to do. I mean, how are we supposed to act, and stuff?"

It was Steve's turn to laugh.

"Well, Abercrombie wanted me to look as sexy as I could. They wanted me to
pretend like I was the hottest college guy I knew," Steve replied. "I had
to stand a certain way and have a pouty look on my face all the time."

"Is that what EVERYBODY wants models to look like?" I asked.

"I guess," Steve answered.

"How do I know if I look that way?" I asked.

I was full of questions! And Steve answered all of them as best he could.
It seemed that he printed off a few pics of Abercrombie models, and had
practiced getting just the right look, before the mirror in his bedroom.
After his first photo shoot, everybody was so happy with how he'd done,
that they called him back three more times.

As our conversation was winding down, I told Steve that we'd email him some
of the pics from the shoot. And then I invited him to drop by the J bar A
and visit us, if his family was ever in Colorado. I told him that the
mountains were awesome and the ranch that we called home was a lot of fun.
He said that sounded great. They usually went skiing in Colorado every
winter, and he'd tell his folks.

Anyway, after we hung up, I told Ryan what Steve had said to me about
modeling.

"I wonder why neither Tim or Ben said anything to us about that?" I asked
softly.

"Who knows?" Ryan replied, hopping off of the bed. "Maybe they just want
us to act like ourselves." He paused for a moment. "Well, I better do my
homework."

"Yeah, me too," I agreed, as Ryan went through the connecting bathroom to
his room.

I didn't think Ryan could possibly be right, about us acting like
ourselves. Tim had said they were going to pay each of us a lot of money
for modeling the backpacks. I was sure Dad and Ben had been so busy with
everything, they'd just forgotten to tell us how we were supposed to act in
front of the camera.

But I had other things on my mind, too ...

"Hurry up and get your homework done," I yelled to my brother through the
open bathroom door. "Talking to Steve made me REALLY horny!"

"I noticed," Ryan replied with laughter on his voice. "I'll get through as
fast as I can."

I may have only been thirteen, but I'd known for a while that jacking off
... or better yet, sucking and being sucked ... was a great way to relieve
stress. And I was stressed, BIG TIME, until Ryan and I took care of each
other. Afterwards, it was easy to go to sleep, but by the next morning,
the anxiety was back.

I woke up real early on Friday, and was immediately wide-awake, thinking
about the photo shoot. I got up, found the Abercrombie & Fitch website and
printed off a few photos. And I spent several minutes before the mirror
with my hands low on my hips. I twisted my torso like in the pictures and
tried to get the same look on my face. It wasn't easy! And I wasn't sure
it looked all that good. But if that was what they wanted, then that's
what I'd try to give them.

I took the printouts to school with me, planning to show them to the twins
and Devon. Maybe Ryan didn't care what kind of job he did as a model, but
I wanted to do my best!

That Friday, every minute of school crept by at a snail's pace. I was SO
excited about the photo shoot ... and all the money we'd be making. Fifty
dollars an hour ... I never knew people could make anywhere NEAR that much!
At our eleven-thirty lunch, I passed around the A&F pics and told the guys
what Steve had said to me.

"I don't know," David said, laying down the prints and taking a drink of
milk. "I guess those guys look okay, but I'm not sure I can look like
that."

"Me either," Devon agreed, gray eyes wide. "I thought this was gonna be
fun ... but now it sounds like it'll be hard!"

"Yeah," Carlos added. "I wonder what we got ourselves into?"

Everybody was getting worked up and I tried to calm them down by telling
them it wasn't that hard to look like the A & F models. Unfortunately, I
wasn't having much luck at it.

"Well, I'm just gonna be myself," Ryan stated firmly. "I think if Tim or
Ben wanted us to do something special, they'd have told us."

"I hope so," Devon agreed, looking at the wall clock and picking up his
tray. "Damn ... we've gotta hurry, or we'll be late for class!"

Ryan and David had Math with me, right after lunch; and as Devon and Carlos
were about to head off in another direction for their class, I added, "See
you guys in the office, right after class."

"You bet!" Carlos said, as he and Devon trotted off to Social Studies.

I don't think I heard a word the teacher said, as I was torn between
excitement and fear at the modeling job. But when one o'clock rolled
around, Ben and Tim were sitting in the office, waiting for us. They both
seemed to be a little tense, too. I guess this afternoon was going to be a
big deal for all of us!

"Are you guys ready to go?" Ben asked as soon as Carlos and Devon arrived.

"I think so," I replied, glancing at the other guys.

Tim signed the five of us out, and after talking to the school secretary
for a few moments, the seven of us headed out to the Suburban. Someone had
hung a rod in the back of it that was filled with our clothes. The SUV was
sort of like a rolling closet!

"Wow ... are we gonna need ALL that stuff?" Ryan asked as he climbed into
the back seat with Devon.

Tim laughed.

"I hope not, Ryan. But it's better to have too much than not enough."

He started the car and pulled onto the road.

"Where are we going, anyway?" David asked.

"Boulder Mountain Park," Dad replied, glancing in the rearview mirror. "Do
you know where that is, Carlos?"

"I'm David!" the older twin replied.

"Sorry David," Tim laughed. "But sometimes it's sort of hard for me to
tell the two of you apart."

"I wonder why?" Ben grinned, turning around in his seat and looking from
Carlos to David. "Have you been there before?"

David said he thought he had. A group of kids from their church had camped
there for a couple of nights, a few summers ago. The way he remembered it,
the park had a lot of hiking trails.

"Well, since we're going to be shooting backpacks," Ben stated, "I'd say
we'll need a hiking trail or two."

"I hope those people know what they're talking about," Tim added, talking
about the backpack manufacturer. "They said this spot would be perfect for
the photography; and Josh agreed that it's a beautiful location."

It took us fifteen or twenty minutes of uphill driving to get there, and it
WAS a nice location. When we arrived at the spot, a couple of cars were
already there. A man and a woman were unloading backpacks from one of the
cars, while a second man wandered around the area. Tim parked the Suburban
next to the man and woman, and the seven of us piled out of it.

"Carol ... it's good to finally meet you!" Tim exclaimed, after closing his
door.

I thought he was talking to the woman, but the man who had been wandering
around replied, "Same here, Tim; and you must be Ben."

I guess he had walked towards our car when he saw us pull up.

Carol. What a weird name for a man! (I found out later that the name was
spelled Carroll.) If I hadn't been so nervous, I would have probably
laughed out loud. I was sure glad Mom and Dad had the good sense to name
me something I liked. I could imagine all the teasing that guy must have
gotten when he was a kid in school.

Carroll, who was dressed in cargos with a button front shirt, was tanned,
wiry and medium height. He looked like he was in his thirties. After
shaking hands with Tim and Ben, he introduced them to Mona, who was an
athletic-looking, older woman. She was a Product Manager ... whatever that
was ... and the other man, Mona's assistant, was a tall, thin guy named
Jeff. He had a great smile and looked to be about the same age as Cole.
But I guess he was already out of college.

"And these must be the boys you were telling me about," Carroll said with a
big smile, as he looked the five of us over. "You were right. They'll be
perfect for the job."

After introducing us to Carroll and his co-workers, Tim added, "This is the
first time modeling, for all of them."

Then he laughed.

"That's why we gave you the reduced rate. But I don't think you could ask
for a group of guys who fit the bill any better."

"These packs were designed for boys their age," Mona commented, with a
smile for all of us. "Are any of you scouts?"

None of us were, but Devon had been a Cub Scout when he was in second
grade. As we talked for a while, I think all of us guys began to get more
comfortable around the people from the pack company. They were all pretty
cool, for adults, and they seemed to love the outdoors.

Carroll, who I found out was the Art Director ... another position I didn't
know anything about ... took charge of the shoot.

"Tim, what do you think about taking the first shot over there ... among
those rocks?" he asked. "I'm not too sure about the light, though."

"I'll check it out, Carroll," Tim answered, "while you pick out the clothes
you want the boys to wear."

As Ben and Jeff began to unload tons of photography gear from the Suburban,
Tim looked over the area Carroll had pointed out. Mona helped Carroll
choose clothing that coordinated with each pack color. Who knew that
people cared about stuff like that? I thought you just used a backpack
with whatever clothes you were wearing. I guess I had a lot to learn about
the modeling business!

We changed into the outfits they chose for us and Mona fitted the packs to
each of our bodies.

"Wow ... this is WAY lighter than the ones we used up in the mountains,"
Ryan commented. "It'd be a LOT of fun to carry a pack like this!"

"That's the way I designed them," Mona laughed, as she adjusted the waist
belt on Ryan's pack. Then she opened the top of the pack and pulled out a
plastic bag filled with air. "Of course, the pack might weigh a LITTLE
more with gear in it."

As the five of us laughed, agreeing with that statement, Mona tucked in the
loose straps and looked each of us over.

"You look like five boy scouts out for an afternoon hike," she pronounced.
"You guys look perfect!"

Everything that everybody said was positive as Carroll and Tim positioned
us just so for the first shot. Ben and Jeff were holding large, shiny,
golden reflectors that bounced the sunlight on us. It seemed like all of
us boys were really nervous, and just before Tim snapped the first shot, I
put on my best pouty face.

"Boys, you're supposed to be enjoying yourselves," Carroll stated with a
smile. "Backpacking is fun!" He looked towards Tim and added, "Let's try
it again."

Tim took a couple more shots and then the adults huddled around a laptop
and looked at them, discussing what they saw. Whereas everybody had been
happy just a few minutes earlier, it didn't look as if the backpack people
liked the photographs very much.

As Tim walked in our direction I thought to myself, 'It was probably Ryan.
He should have listed to what Steve had told us. But no ... Ryan said he
was just going to be himself. And he'd spoiled the photos, making all of
us look bad.'

"Kaiden, where did that expression come from?" Tim asked, with half a smile
on his face.

Proudly, I replied, "I called Steve last night. He was the guy we met at
the Lake of the Ozarks back in April ... remember? He's done a lot of
modeling for Abercrombie & Fitch, and he told me how to get the look people
want."

I was sure Tim was going to tell the other guys to do what I'd been doing,
but he just shook his head and grinned.

"So THAT'S where that face came from!" he laughed. "Kaiden, these people
just want you guys to laugh and be happy." He waved his hand towards Mona,
Jeff and Carroll. "They want their customers to look at the photo and see
how much fun you guys are having when you use their backpacks." He scanned
the five of us. "All of you guys ... just be yourselves and have fun!
Don't be so stiff and nervous. Talk to each other and goof off a little.
Be boys, don't try to be something you're not."

"But I thought ..." I began.

Tim put his hand on my shoulder and said kindly, "Just be yourself, Kaiden,
and follow our instructions. You'll give these people exactly what they
want."

Wow! All that worry and lost sleep for nothing. The rest of the photo
shoot was a snap. All of us had the most fun! And in a couple of weeks,
we were all going to get checks for five hundred dollars. We each got
fifty dollars an hour ... but that was just for modeling. They also gave
us three hundred dollars each for usage rights. At the time, I didn't have
any idea what those were. But I gladly took the money ... even if most of
it had to be put into savings for college.

When we got home, I found out Chris and Tyler had gone on another date.
Ben and Tina were going out for dinner and Josh was away for the night, on
some kind of ranch business. The twins invited Ryan and me to spend the
night with them. Ryan went, but I decided not to. I promised to get
together with them in the morning, though. I guess I didn't want Dad to be
lonely in our big house ... and it would be fun to spend some time with
him, again! It had been ages since the two of us had been alone together,
for more than a few minutes.

This is the perfect spot to end chapter seven. I sure hope each of you
enjoyed reading it. I hope I didn't get TOO carried away with the photo
shoot. I guess you can tell that's what I do for a living.

Just in case you're interested, Steve appeared in chapter seven of "I'll
Suck You", if you want to reread about him.

Back when I was writing "I'll Suck You", I began a database of people
who've specifically told me they'd like to be notified when I posted a new
chapter on Nifty. If you'd like to be added to that notification, please
let me know. Over the months, some of the email addresses I had are no
longer valid and I've removed them. I will NEVER put your name or email
address on any list I keep, unless you specifically ask me to. And then it
will only be used for this one purpose.

Each one of my readers means a lot ... a WHOLE lot ... to me! Without you,
there wouldn't be any reason for me to write. (Well, it IS fun ... but
it's a lot of work, too!) I'd sure like to hear from some of you who've
never emailed me. And, of course, I always enjoy hearing from those of you
who email me on a regular basis.

What do you like? What would you like to see done differently? Which
characters are your favorites? Is there someone you don't like? Is there
something you'd like to see the guys try? I'm open to having the guys try
most anything, as long as it is consistent with the characters as I see
them, and it fits into the story line. I've used lots of my readers' ideas
over the many chapters I've written. And I'll always give you credit for
your ideas, unless you ask me not to.

My email address is fotogme11@yahoo.com. Why don't you send me one right
now, while you're thinking about it? Many of you are members of the Yahoo!
Group for my stories. If you'd like to join it, you can do that here:

I hope each one of you has a great week! And next Friday, hopefully the
beginning of chapter eight will be as good as your fantasy! lol Greg
