Chapter 19 By Terry Claybourn If you are not legal age to read this please don't. Chad's best friend Jon comes to the rescue but will Ry be happy. *************************************************** "Ry, it's lightning" I yelled, as I dove back under the covers on the bed. Ry just growled, and rolled over onto his side. "What got you so scared?" Ry asked, as he pulled the blanket over his head. "It's thundering!" I cried out, trying to get closer to him. "Yeah, so it does that now and then," he said, looping his arm around me to pull me close "I don't like storms," I told him, scooting closer to him. Ry rubbed my back for a few minutes. "Can I stay home?" I asked. I hate storms; rain is not that bad, but downpours, lightning and thunder, I hate with a passion; and to drive to school then walk from class to class, is not my idea of fun. "No," Ry said. I did my best to get him to change his mind, but he had his mind made up; it was either get dressed for school, or get my ass smacked, and then dress for school. I decided to get dressed. Two days later, there was a banging at the door. I glanced at the clock: the dads were at work, and the moms would call first before coming over. "Yeah?" I asked through a closed door. "Is Ryan home?" the man asked. Like I said before, I could not see out the peephole, so I opened the door just a little; the chain stopped it. "He's asleep," I told him. "May I ask who you are?" I said. "Just tell him his dad is here," he told me, as he pushed the door a little, and I heard it give a bit. "I don't think so. Go away," I said, trying to close the door. The guy pushed against it again, making the chain tighten - those little chains don't help much. The next thing I knew, I was tossed back on my ass, and the door opened all the way. The guy, who stood at least six foot five, towered over me. Before I knew it, there was a fight going on around me. I rolled over to see Ry and this guy pushing each other. Ry would punch him, but the guy never hit back. I finally grabbed the guy's pants leg and pulled him. This threw him off balance and he fell to the floor. Ry then grabbed one of his hands and pinned it behind him. I went to go get something to restrain him. Once we got the guy up and setting in a chair, I went over to call the police. "Ryan, I am your real dad," he told him. Ry and I just looked at each other. I hung up the phone and called Dan. "Hello," Dan said. "You might want to get over here; we got a problem," I told him. "Is everything ok?" he asked "Not sure," I told him, and hung up. It took about ten minutes for Dan to get his ass over to our place. When he came in, he just looked at the guy. "This person tells me he is my real dad," Ry said over a cup of coffee. "I've never seen him son, so I could not tell you," Dan told Ry. "Maybe we should call your mom," Dan said, and pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Yeah, go ahead and call her; she'll set you straight," the man said. "Jean, we've got a guy over here at the boys' place saying he's Ry's real dad. Can you come over here?" Dan said into the phone. His eyes moved back and forth between Ry and the guy. I also looked at them; I could see a resemblance, but not a real match. Ry's looks come from his mom. "Is your name Sam Richardson?" Dan asked. The man nodded, and Ry hauled him up and pulled the guy's wallet out of his pocket. "That's what this says," Ry said, as he let the guy drop back down into the chair, tossing the wallet onto the table. "Yeah, it is," Dan said. "Ok, thanks. No, that's ok. I'll be home after I set this straight," he said, and flipped his phone shut with a snap. "Is he telling the truth, dad?" Ry asked, putting down his cup. "Yes, I am," the guy said. "I was talking to my dad, so shut the fuck up!" Ry yelled at him. "Yeah, that's you sperm donor," Dan said, as he cut the tape we had bound the guys hands with. Dan gave me a funny look, and then a smile crossed his lips. Ok, so the only tape I could find was bondage tape. Ry took the used tape that was handed to him, while the guy rubbed his wrists for a few minutes. "Do I need to call the police?" I asked. All three of them looked at me. "Well, he did force entry," I pointed toward the door; the little gold chain hung lifeless from the latch. "And he did assault me," I said, watching Ry's face go dark with anger. "Did he hurt you?" Ry asked, about ready to grab the guy, but Dan stopped him. "No, just scared me a bit" I told him; that was the truth. Ry came over to me and checked my head, making sure I didn't bang it when I hit the floor. "Look; all I wanted to do was talk with my son; not have some little snot tell me to go away," the guy said, or should I say Sam? "Then talk!" Ry bellowed. "I mean alone," Sam said. "Whatever you got to say to me, you can say in front of MY dad and Chad," Ry told him. "We have nothing to hide so either talk to all of us or leave," Ry said. Sam just looked at Dan, then me, and shook his head. "Chad, can you please make some coffee?" Dan asked. "Sure," I said, and headed for the kitchen. I didn't hear any talking. "It will be ready in about five minutes," I said. "Ry, I can go; it's not really any of my business," I told him. "You need to stay for Ryan," Dan whispered to me. I just shrugged, and took a seat across from Sam. "You turned out to be a real looker," Sam said. "Enough about my looks; talk or leave," Ry said, as he took a seat beside me. Dan sat on the other side of me. "Your mom and I were high school sweethearts. When we got to college, we decided to get married, but her family didn't like the idea of her marrying a white guy with no money. They told her to call it off, or she would lose everything. Sam took a deep breath. "We moved in together when she told me she was pregnant. I dropped out of school, and got a job with a company where I could work my way up. The only bad thing was it was in another state. I asked her to stay to finish school, and when summer came, I planned to come get her for a visit. She was almost two months, and she made an unannounced visit, and caught me with a co-worker; we were in bed," Sam said. "You don't have to draw us pictures," Ry told him. "I knew I had lost her then and there, so I never tried to catch her. I did try to see you several times after you were born, but I got this one day." He tossed a very old slip of paper on the table. No one reached for it; Dan only shook his head, so I picked it up and looked at it, "It's a restraining order until Ry turns eighteen," I told them. "You were about eight years old," I said, looking at the date it was issued. "Dad" Ry asked "Your mom loved this fool. I never knew him or saw him; he started coming around after I left for work. If I had known, he'd be dead." "Like I said before, I loved your mom since the first time I saw her," Dan said. "I always asked her out, but she shot me down in a heartbeat. She always said `no', I'm taken, or I can't do that on my man, no matter if he is in another state. Same story every time I asked her out; so I stopped asking. Then one day, she came to me and said she was in trouble. God, this is going to be so hard. Ryan I love you, and you are my son. She came to me and told me she was pregnant by this scumbag of a boyfriend, and she needed my help to fool her parents." Dan took a breath. "All she wanted was my last name. After a year, we could split and she'd make sure I was set for a few years." Dan took a sip of coffee. "I told her that I loved her from the first time I saw her, and I didn't care if she was pregnant with another man's a child. I would call this beautiful bundle of life my own, if I was allowed. "You were born June tenth at five in the morning. Your mom was too small to give birth to you, and it did some damage. So they had to go in and take you out. Then they tried to fix it, but they had to do a hysterectomy on her. That's why you have no siblings. We tried to say you were born early, but at nine six, no one was buying it. Your grandpapa figured out everything. He just told her that he was glad she was alright, and one grandchild was better than none, and she picked a fine man. Ryan, when you were born, I was so scared. She put his name on the birth certificate, naming you after him. I cried when she put my name down as father. Sam just shook her head. "She had no right to do that; I am his dad, and he belongs to me," Sam said. "We had to get the restraining order on him, because you came home one day in tears, telling us some man was trying to grab you on your way home from school. Your mom went the next day to walk you home, saw him, and told him to stay away; and the following day we went down and got a restraining order issued. He was lucky he was not arrested for trying to abduct a child. "All I was trying to do was talk to him," Sam said. Both Ry and Dan grunted. "I turned eighteen three years ago; how come you took so long?" Ry asked. "I didn't have a clue where you were. The only reason I found you now, was because someone I know worked at the hospital where you were born. She knew your mom in college, and she put two and two together, and did some checking, and bang. It all added up, so she called me," Sam said. "I'll have someone's job," Dan said, as he got up. There was a knock at the door, and I went to answer it. When I opened it, there stood a couple of officers standing there; one smiled at me. "We were called because someone broke in," one of them said. "Yeah, he did," Ry said. "He also assaulted my cousin there; so arrest him; I'll file charges," Ry said. As he got up, the cops came over and Sam stood. "Ry, you don't want to do this; I know your secret," Sam said, jerking his head toward me. Ry just looked at him. "You break in here, calling yourself my dad, when my dad would never push his way into anyone's home, and my dad is sitting right there. You, sir, are a sperm donor, and nothing to me," Ry said, as he slammed his coffee cup down. "And you don't know shit," he said, as he went into the bedroom. The two officers escorted Sam out. Once the door was closed, I headed for the bedroom; I never saw Dan go in there. "What if he does know? He can get us all into a lot of trouble," Ry told his dad. Dan just held him tight "I don't know, son; I really don't know," Dan said, as he rocked Ry in his arms. "I can go back home until this dies down," I said, standing by the door. "You are home; you're not going anywhere without me," Ry said, as he held out his arms. I was on his lap in a flash. It was about two weeks later when we got a visitor. I had just come home from school, and a really nice looking older lady came out of the elevator. I couldn't help it; I stared at her while I was getting the mail out of the box. I mean who couldn't look; the only women who lived in the building usually dressed in jeans and t-shirts; not too many dress like this lady, unless it was Tim again. I watched her for a minute, and then she stopped and looked at me. "Hi, I'm Miss Nelson, and are you Chad?" she asked "Yes, um, I am," I told her. She smiled at me, and asked, "Is your dad around?" "No, he's probably at work or at home," I told her. "He doesn't live here with you?" she asked. I was about ready to say `no', when I saw someone on the stairs. He was shaking his head `no', and waving his hands back and forth. "I stay here with my cousin, because dad and I had a falling out." Alright, so I lied. "Oh, I see. When you see him, can you give your dad this please?" she said, handing me a card. I looked at it. "Ok, sure, no problem," I told her. She gave me a smile again, and left. I looked at the card again: Miss B Nelson, Child Protection Services Officer. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "God, that was close," Jack said. "She knocked on our door, asking if we knew you, and where you were. I told her that you were probably on your way home from school. She also asked if we heard anything odd or strange going on in your apartment. I told her `no', not really," Jack said. "What the hell is this?" I asked, as we headed back upstairs. "She works for CPS; I thinks she's trying to make trouble, or take you away from Ry, and your parents" Jack told me. When I got into the apartment, I called dad and Dan on a three-way. "Hey, we've got big problems," I told them. "I got a card in my hand from a lady from the CPS office, whatever that is," I told them. I heard Dan say "oh, shit," and dad told me to stay cool; they would be over as soon as possible. The dads were there when Ry got home. It took Dan about ten minutes to calm down, after Dad called someone he knew that worked in that office, or something like that, to find out what the hell was going on. "Someone said that you and Ry are having sex, and that I allow it," Dad said. Dan, Ry, and I looked at each other; I got a sick feeling in my stomach. "Sam!" they both said together. "You mean the guy who came to see Ry?" Dad asked. The next thing we knew, there was a loud knocking at the door. Ry went to open it, and there stood two cops and Miss Nelson. We all just looked at them. She had to have been watching for Ry and the dads to get there; because it was like half hour after the dads got there that they arrived. "Come in," Ry said with a smile. They came in, and one of the officers took me by the arm, and walked me toward the kitchen. "DAAAAAAAAD!" I yelled for him. "Easy, son, we just need to ask you some questions," the cop said. "Your dad can be in here if he wants," the cop said. "Not without our lawyer," dad told him, coming to my side. "It's just simple questions; no need to get them involved," Miss Nelson said. "When you were at the hospital, the doctor that did the examination on you, noticed that you'd had sex before you came into the hospital," The woman said. I just looked at dad. "Yeah, so," I told her. "You're underage," she told me. "Yeah, so," I said. Dad gave me a push. "I mean, the person who had sex with me is my age; I didn't think it mattered, if we're the same age," I told her. Ok, I lied again. "Was it consensual?" she asked. Now I am smart, but there are some words I don't know the meaning of, unless I look them up. I looked at dad. "She wants to know if you gave this person the ok or were you forced." Dad said. "No, I let him," I told her. I was hoping they didn't ask who he was. Miss Nelson did some writing in her notebook. "How old is your friend?" she asked. "Sixteen, like me," I told her. I heard dad breathing hard; he was getting nervous. "Who is he?" she asked. "None of your business," I told her. About that time, there was a knock at the door. "I got to get that," I told them. The cop followed me, and I opened the door to see Jon standing there. "Babe, are you alright? I am so sorry about our little tiff," he said, then planted a big hot kiss on me. I gasped, but wrapped my arms around him, and kissed back. He even rubbed against me as I pulled back. He looked at me and licked his lips. "OH. I didn't know your dad was here," he said, stepping back. "It's ok, Jon. Come in; he won't bite." "Oh, wow! Why the cops? I'm sorry; the police," he said so sweetly;" the boy was going to make me sick. "Oh, they got a call saying Ry and I are lovers. Can you believe that?" I told him, taking his hand and giving it a squeeze. "Oh, really," he said, turning me around so that my back was against his chest. I could feel his rock hard cock pressing again my ass. I did my best not to grow hard. "Are you cheating on me, babe?" he asked, biting my neck just a little. I swear I could hear Ry growl, and I saw Dan take his hand into his. "No, babe I only has eyes for you." I told him, turning my head a little so I could kiss him. He played the role too well; he put his mouth to mine, and kissed me hard. His hand came up behind my head, and his fingers wrapped in my hair, pulling it hard enough that I moaned low, but loud enough for everyone to hear. Then he rubbed against me again. That was it; I got hard! Jon pulled my head back away from him with my hair, and smiled. "You like it rough, don't you babe?" Jon said, giving my crotch a rub. "Yeah, babe, you know how I like it," I told him, giving him a sexy smile. One cop looked like he was about ready to get sick, and the other just smiled. Miss Nelson just wrote stuff in her notebook. "Can you explain when you were at the hospital why Ryan here, stayed by your side the whole time, and this young man never came to see you?" Miss Nelson asked. "That's, easy," Jon said. "I never went to see him, because his family don't like me much, and the only reason I came by today was I was not expecting his family, or you all to be here," Jon told her. I don't think she liked her questions being answered before she could ask them. "The reason I stayed by his side, is because he didn't want to be alone, and Uncle Chris works, and needs his sleep; and they do have other children at home. My Aunt has to be there for them, you know; she couldn't be in two places at the same time," Ry said with a little smile. "Besides, I was out of school, so I just stayed with him, like family does," Ry told her. She started to say something when, "And Jon here is under eighteen, so he couldn't spend the nights with him against hospital rules." Ry tossed that little tidbit in for good measure. "We'll be going now; we have enough information for now. However, it is illegal for any minor to have sex, no matter if you are the same age," one of the officers said. Miss Nelson huffed, but turned on her spike heels and left. The other cop walked her out. "Don't worry, boys, we're done," he told us, as he followed his partner out. Dad shut the door with a sigh, and I pulled out of Jon's arms and went to Ry. He grabbed me and held me tight, so tight I thought I would lose my breath. "Thanks, Jon," Ry told him. "I guess we owe you big," Ry said. "Relax. I was on my way up to get notes, when one of the guys caught me at the stairs. He told me that if I was a true friend, I would come up here and pretend to be Chad's lover, because, right now, shit is going down, and if the lady had her way, the cops would take Chad away, and the rest of you would all go to jail for a long time," Jon said. "I didn't have a plan, until I saw Chad, and, well, it just happened when I kissed him. I was praying you wouldn't beat the crap out of me," Jon told us. I went and got Jon the notes. After awhile, he got up to leave "Ryan, you treat my boy right, `cause I don't want to have to beat the hell out of you, or get someone else to do it," Jon told him, as he left the house. I sat beside Ryan for a long time; nobody said anything. After a while, Dan picked up the phone and ordered takeout for us, then he and Dad left us alone. I still just sat there for a while. "Pet, as much as I loved what Jon did for us today, I am not touching you until you get his smell off you," Ry said, as he helped me up. "Make sure you brush your teeth, and use mouth wash," he told me, as I went to the bathroom. I turned on the water, and stripped. Once I was under the spray, I slid down into the tub, letting the water wash over me. I pulled my legs up to my chin, and wrapped my arms around them. Then I put my forehead on my knees and cried. "Chad, love; it's alright, I promise," Ry said, when he found me. I never did wash; he turned off the water. I was crying so hard I was almost in hysterics. He did his best to get me to stand. The next thing I knew, I was hit with ice cold water. I screamed, and jumped up. Ry turned off the water, and pulled me out of the shower, pulling my wet body to his. "I promise love; no one will ever take you away from me; not your dad, mine, or the law," he said above my head. It took a while for me to stop crying. By then, our food was cold. Once it was heated up, Ry had to bully me into eating it, which I did very slowly. That night, Ryan and I just laid there; both of us were holding each other so tight, we left marks. We went to sleep holding each other, and we woke up holding each other. It is now October; I love this month. Halloween is my favorite holiday, except for Christmas. I am usually full of energy, but not this time. Ryan's and my love life is a little different now; I mean, he was afraid to do anything rough with me, for the simple reason he didn't want to leave marks, and I couldn't enjoy it for the simple reason I didn't want him to get into trouble. It's been raining a lot lately; my school lost it power so I got to stay home, and when I sit around a lot, I start to think, and that's not good, sometimes. I made up my mind, and I knew in my heart Ryan would not like it one bit. "Ryan, I want to move back home," I told him. He looked up, and his eyes were wide. *********************************** Autors note: I know nothing about the legal services such as the Child Protective Services (CPS) so please no email telling me I was wrong on something...
