Chapter 15

Love will help it heal

	In the next few days Todd and I talked to the boys both alone and
as a group and much to my surprise they better understood the differences
between them and Tom's boys that at the end of one of the most tiresome
sessions I held the boys in a very long group hug so much so that Adam said
"enough I am getting smushed" at that we broke up laughing, and as we
caught our breathes Adam said "we are a family they (Tom's boys) are
different, they think only of them selves as individuals and not of others
in there group, that is what makes us a family" I looked at him and as I
did I started to cry and an other group hug was in operation.

	Today was Tuesday and if we were going to invite Andy into the
house for the night and find if his little show the other night was for
real. I called the boys together and as I did they looked a little
surprised as to what the subject was "boys if you recall we invited Andy to
the house and the moment of truth is coming in 24 hours, what should we do"
they looked at me and all started to talk at the same time I held my hand
up for silence then in an unusual start asked Adam to voice his opinion
first "I don't know if it is a good idea to ask him in, and that's that"
Mike looked as if he was next and I waited as he said "I don't agree this
time, if we excluded Peter on our first opinion of him we would have missed
some good fun this past weekend" I looked at Todd and he said "I still have
the same opinion, if some one butters him I will eat him whole" I looked at
Todd and he blushed, Mike and Adam just smiled, looked at all and said that
"considering what I just heard we bring Andy over tomorrow night" I looked
around the table and all agreed, even when he was voted down Adam was a
good sport. He looked at no one in particular and said "I wish we would
invite someone younger than me so I could stop being the baby of this
family" I gently pinched his butt and he pulled his shorts to his knees as
he did Mike asked "is that an invitation or what" he pulled his shorts up
and pointed at me and said "dad pinched me and I wanted to see if it
showed" we all laughed and Todd said "what are we to have for dinner
tomorrow night I think Pizza is out" with that we all broke up that is
except Todd, I looked at Todd and said I will make a meat loaf, with baked
potatoes a vegetable and a gravy, soda pop and the remainder is up to you
boys.

	With that decision behind us the order of the day was to clean the
house an as we did I considered the boys financial condition and felt that
we needed to start a bank accounts for Adam and Mike, plus make them
understand the value of money, a month ago I had made a will giving all I
owned to the boys and making Todd the executor if the boys were under the
age of consent at the time of my passing, God this is a morbid thing to
think about but I was not getting any younger.
