Chapter 19

House Christening, Open House &. Oskar

The house christening One month almost to the day everything was ready so I
invited Tom to discuss the open house when he arrived I explained what I
wanted to do in order to and as my way of saying thanks for there help I
required that he invite all of the boys that were instrumental in it's
construction, his answer was "and Oskar" I thought for a second and said
"he helped didn't he" Tom said "you kno that when it is time to go home he
will want to stay" that will be decided when the time comes.

Tom and I walked through the extension and other than the fresh wood smell
the interior wall construction design was identical to the original
building, so when and if the smell went away there would no way to tell new
from old, as we walked, we went into the first bedroom knowing that the all
of the boys were outside (the young ones were outside giving Todd a hard
time), as we entered Tom was amazed as to the roominess and uncluttered
bedroom and as we walked thru the bathroom into the other bedroom Tom
noticed that the bathroom also opened into the hall and yet the bathroom
had two toilets that attach to the wall a triple sink and a shower that I
could wash my truck in, as I entered the next bedroom the room was a double
of the first except there were Indian rugs on the wall as a decorations,
this was Mike and Adam's room as we stepped into the hall and turned left
and we walked into the family room with out the lights on as we walked thru
the door three lights automatically came on illuminating the room with just
enough light that we were not worrying about tripping over any thing, Tom
looked up and said "cool" all I could do was smile.

An item that was not shown in the original blue prints of the extension was
a door leading out from TV/Class room at the back of the house as a
possible fire exit (something that I thought up as the construction went
forward), as Tom and I walked back toward the original house he said "if I
hadn't seen this house before the renovation I would have called anyone a
liar that said that the house was built in two sections and the extension
was larger than the original house" as the truth would out, the extension
was over 1700 Sq. Ft. and the house it self was only 1300 Sq. Ft., in the
process it had grown into a monster that we all loved, except for the
living room, bathrooms, kitchen, and new whirlpool rooms the house had
solid Oak tongue and groove floors that were sanded and coated with 3 coats
of water base low luster type Verithane that was lightly hand sanded 200
grit between 1 and 2, 400 grit between 2 and 3 a soft power buff with a
hard wax after the final coat, it was a sight to see a soft reflection off
it in the evening light.

As we walked out to find the boys, we came upon a scene that was both funny
and startling Mike, Adam and Andy had Todd butt naked except that he was
wearing his jock strap and tied to and facing the tree, when we came into
view, Mike said "dad we are giving Todd his initiation into the same Indian
tribe that we are from" as I viewed the scene I said "but Andy was not part
of your tribe" Mike answered "he went through his initiation last week" as
I stood there Todd looked at me and said "dad please take Tom and go into
the house, I will be 'OK''' I looked at Tom and he and I went back into the
house. Tom looked at me as we entered the living room and said "do you
trust the boys to not hurt Todd" I answered" NO, but I know he would not
allow his brothers to hurt him, and they love him in a way that they would
not want to see him hurt".

As I talked Tom asked if the party was to be this Saturday, I looked at him
and said and probably Sunday too, as I thought of it I asked if enough
tables could be procured as I said that Tom laughed and said "plus chairs
sleeping bags air mattresses and a 8' metal fire pit" my face looked a
little strange and he said "they love to camp out and your side yard would
be large enough for a boy scout jamboree so an overnight party would be
fun" the picture that first came to mind was a girls slumber party, as I
thought of it I explained my look to Tom he almost ended on the floor in a
fit, as we were talking the boys came in and Todd was painted in a
multicolor red, white, green, blue, and pink, and considering his smile he
was having fun, as he walked across the room he looked at me and said "I
now have a new name with my brothers 'BIG DOG' they will call me that when
we are among our selves" I looked around and at no one in particular said
"who thought up that name" as I said that every one including Tom said "Oh
please" all I could do was smile and say "Todd go clean up and Mike you
help him", as he walked across the room I noticed a liquid dribbling from
his anus and down his leg I hoped that I was the only one to notice it.

As I started to cook dinner I looked at Tom and asked if he was staying for
dinner he said no he had to work tomorrow and do his laundry tonight plus a
bunch of phone calls to set up the next weekend with that he left, I had
left the guest list to him as I trusted his honesty equal to my boys, as we
sat for dinner I explained what Tom and I had talked about and what we
could expect for next week end, much to surprise they were all for the
"camp out" but they wanted none of them in there bedrooms overnight if we
wanted to join the debacle we will go out and join them outside. I looked
at all of them and said "I will say this only once if you want to have sex
and you do it without protection you are risking your life" the silence was
almost painful, I stood up from the table walked in to my bedroom (yes my
bedroom is all mine again) opened the bedside table pulled out a bag that
contained condoms and lube, as I carried it into the kitchen I announced
that on Monday all of us would have blood tests and that I was sorry that
it was required because I don't want to die plus I don't want to loose any
of my sons to a fatal disease Every one started to comment and as it
started Todd in a rased voice "we are not to be trusted" I felt a little
embarrassed I looked at all of them and said "I trust the decisions that
the big head makes but sometimes we make decisions with the little head" at
that moment they all blushed Todd said "I don't like blood tests but as DAD
said we need to be safe, no one argued with Todd's logic and the subject
was closed. Saturday morning dawned bright and warm as a party preparation
I had started to precook pork ribs in an old SS 24 Qt. pot by 1st boiling
them in hot water then putting them in three SS trays with enough homemade
barbeque sauce to swim in tightly covered with heavy weight commercial
aluminum foil and put them to slow cook 275F for about 3 hours I had
prepared 2 types of beans boston w/small white beans with bacon and brown
sugar, and pintos w/hot chillies Mexican style, potato salad, macaroni
salad from an old family recipe, Tom was bringing in 4 quarts of
K. F. C. coleslaw an item I could not duplicate. In 2 72 Quart coolers were
5 cases of beer and 3 cases of various soda pop I had purchased a case of
disposable heavy weight plastic dinner plates, and plastic forks and
knives, 2 new reusable heavy weight plastic turkey platters for the ribs 2
of my large glass mixing bowls for the beans and 3 large serving bowls for
the salads and slaw two large packages of the heaviest weight paper table
napkins purchased most at a local restaurant supply store. As I worked to
set up the dinner Tom and Oskar arrived and by the look on Tom's face he
was amazed that I was almost ready (in truth my boys had been a big help)
at 2 in the afternoon I offered him coffee and as we watched the boys
including Oskar playing in the back yard Tom looked at me and dropped a
bomb "Oskar asked me to bring him 1st and as he has all of his clothes in
the trunk of the car he doesn't want to ever leave" for about a half a
second I looked at Tom and gave my usual blind side answer "say what" Tom
smiled and said " he is in love with you big time" as he said that I stood
rooted to the ground and started to tremble, as I caught my breath I said
"he is to young to know what love is" as I said it I knew how stupid it
sounded, but won't someone miss him if he doesn't come home as I said it
Tom looked sad and said "I will, as has lived with me for almost a year
since his parents died he has no relatives either in the Philippines or in
the US I have a letter from his parents making me his guardian in case of
there death they knew he was gay and so was I so they felt that I would
look out for him better than any state agency, plus he is in school and
happy, but he loves you and I told him that if he stays here it was totally
up to you" at that minute Oskar and my boys came in quietly, Oskar was at
the forefront and the boys were looking at me and were waiting for an
answer.

Saved by the bell as it were, at that moment the sound of a car horn and
more than one put the discussion on hold, we went outside and the sight
that came was one that if I live to be 100 I will never see again, on a
flat bed truck was an 8' round steel bowl it took me a second to recognize
a steel underground tank end, the driver that I recognized as Pedro from
the incident with Tony, and the way he handled the truck he knew exactly
what he was doing he positioned the truck in the middle of the yard and
with an over head lift slid the bowl off the end of the truck bed slick no
muss no fuss, he disengaged the lift and as he pulled out a 3/4 Ton pickup
backed up to the bowl and in less time than I will take to describe it with
everyone helping filled the bowl with enough wood to last me all winter,
except this was only for one night (even though during the day it can reach
100 Degrees+ at night it can dip to a chilly 45 and with a little wind it
can be cold) I had my boys remove enough wood for my fireplace about six
pieces in the big pictures not 1 %. That truck pulled out and an other one
with tables and chairs was unloaded, after that the boys laid out there
sleeping bags but didn't open them I found out later that small crawlies
will enter a unoccupied sleeping bag to get warm (snakes, scorpions and the
like) if you kept them rolled up and shook them out before you got in you
were a lot safer, mother nature is a real bitch.

By the time the boys had shown there guests the finished bedrooms and other
places plus a rough and tumble game of basketball (the N.B.A. don't play
that rough and Tom was the ref) dinner was ready, I sent all of the boys to
the shower in the sauna room and as they came out dressed in there
underwear only the serving line was running smooth, I think Tom told them
to be on there best behavior, but I think that they were being extra
behaved as I overheard one say to an other "I almost didn't come but this
food is fantastic and the pintos are better than what my mother makes" I
caught up to Tom and repeated what I heard he looked at me and said "duh,
this is like steak and baked potatoes to them oh and by the way where did
you learn to cook pintos like that" I blushed and said "from a good Jewish
straight friend of mine" he shook his head and walked away. Within an hour
90+% of everything was consumed I must itemize: 22# Pork ribs barbequed
2Gal. Homemade barbeque sauce 1½ Gal. Homemade boston baked beans 1½
Gal. Hot Pinto beans 1Gal. Homemade macaroni salad, 8# homemade potato
salad 1Gal. K.F.C. cold slaw 5 cases of beer 3 cases of pop As I have said
before I think it would be cheaper to cloth them than feed them, as Tom and
I sat there and the sun slowly sank in the west behind the house but that
is to say that there was 30 people including Tom and my boys sitting very
quietly and as we did Pedro with a acoustical Mexican guitar in his lap
played one of my favorite songs Malaguania and the boys clapped along with
the music as we sat and watched the stars coming out Tom whispered to me
you must light the fire it is your home and your duty as I walked out to
the fire pot the boys some of them over 25 were watching me go by and as I
did they said thank you, as I reached the rim I stopped and turned, as I
looked at them I said "some of you have said thank you to me and now I must
correct the thinking this party is my way of saying thank all of you for
your help in adding to my little house" as I stopped they all stood and
clapped, Tom came to me and said "they felt that what you have done much
more for the gay community than they could ever repay you for" with that
Tom showed me an empty beer bottle he had filled with kerosine he poured
some on a rag and the rest in the center of the ring on the wood the rag
was on a stick that he handed to me and I held it as he lit it and I
touched it to the kerosine in the middle of the fire ring as I did it came
to life not with a bang, but with a slow burning fire. As it started to
build to a nice blaze I motioned to my boys to go inside and as they did
Tom looked at me and said "why the short night" my answer was cryptic to
say the least "if the Indians in the valley below come to investigate my
boys cant be with your boys" he looked at me and said "Oh shit I never
thought of that" ten minutes later as I walked toward the house an Indian
agency car pulled into my drive, I turned to face the driver as I did I
recognized the building inspector driving, I walked toward the car and I
felt Tom behind me, my greeting was not what Tom was prepared for I looked
at him and said "are you moonlighting with another government job" he
smiled and shook my hand "No sir I am an Indian and I work for the county
and my Indian tribe at the same time" he smiled and continued "we saw your
fire and thought there was a problem where we could help, so if you don't
need our help I will bid you a good night" I smiled and shook hands with
him as I did Todd came up and said "hi White Bull did you get to the job
sight on 4th and Fillmore yesterday" the man looked at Todd and said "I
will be there at first light on Monday" Todd shook his hand and White Bull
climbed into his car and left. As the night wore on Tom and I sat on the
front porch and talked about Todd and his new job I started to feel sleepy
and I bid Tom good night, as I went into the house the fire was turning
into a quiet bowl of red embers and the amount of light was getting low as
I watched the boys outside on the sleeping bags were in the nude and moving
from bag to bag. As I came into the house I overheard Todd telling his
brothers that every thing was 'OK' that dad had taken care if the problem,
I looked around and the boys were getting ready for bed, so I grabbed fast
shower and after I did checked on the boys as I did they were tired and
sleep was not far away, as I slipped into my bed I found I was not alone
Oskar was waiting for me and he wanted to make love not fool around (I had
dropped my shorts and shirt as I climbed in) as I reached the center of the
bed I could feel the back end of a hot little boy as I did he pushed back

said "but that decision will wait till the morning".

Around Midnight I did a safety patrol around the house as the weather was
beautiful and the temperature was in the high 70's even at Midnight as I
checked around I found Todd and Andy in Todd's bed and the same was to be
said about Mike and Adam (at this point I must describe the beds in the
boys rooms the top bunk is a twin bed and the bottom is a full size, the
whole thing is built on a an oversize tubular frame, to get to the top
there is a ladder on one end, Todd designed it and one of Tom's boys built
it and they all love it) to complete the story about the bunk beds I had
Todd apply for a patent through his bosses lawyer and as of now he sees
nothing in the way of patent approval and the boy that made them was Pedro
at this time Tom is having the man make 50 sets on consignment and Todd has
cut a deal to receive $10 as a royalty for each one produced and sold they
are being coated with a powder coating in bright multi colors, truly they
are for kids rooms. As I said Todd's mind never stops and if this is as
much of a hit Todd will be financially in good shape for a long time. To
stop my digression as I was on my safety patrol I noticed someone sitting
on the porch smoking a cigarette, as I opened the front door in the faint
fire light I could see Tom sitting with someone, as I didn't want to
disturb them I started back in as I did Tom said "come sit by us" as I
moved towards them I was startled to see Jacob as his bench partner and the
both of them were nude as I sat down Tom said "Jacob tells me that Todd has
another design on the drawing board for an upgrade version of the bed using
standard off the shelf bed spring frames with Oak and Maple ends and edges"
as he said that I looked at Jacob and he was watching the action in the
side yard, I turned and what my eyes saw was straight from my most depraved
dream, there was a human daisy chain that contained at the least 25 young
men and boys in many forms and shapes, as I watched I became very excited
and as I did Tom reached to my crotch and I held off his hand and I said "I
have 5 boys to think of and with so much stimulation around me I feel that
I had better go back to bed" I stood and went back into the house locking
the door behind me, and as I returned to my bedroom I noticed Oskar was
crying as I climbed into the bed he put his arms around my neck and said "I
woke up and you were gone, I was afraid you had deserted me" I put my arms
around him and as he calmed down we slipped in the arms of Morpheus.

In the morning I was up first up and I made a breakfast to feed an army my
usual biscuits and gravy with scramble eggs and bacon orange juice, milk
and a gallon of coffee, as I finished the prep work I noticed that Tom was
at the door, I flipped the door release and he walked in to get himself a
cup of coffee, as he did Oskar walked in wearing a pair of Adam's shorts
and Andy's t-shirts they both were too large I looked at him and said "get
your brothers up and tell every one that breakfast is ready" as I said that
the look on his face was like he had just won the Irish sweepstakes and
found his penis was twice the size it is, as I was saying it I though that
I had giving him a home by default, in truth I wanted him as bad as he
wanted me, I looked out the door and the boys were queuing up at the front
door in various states of dress and undress most of them were dressed in
jockey shorts or boxers and they all looked like they could use a few hours
of sleep, after the boys help serve the breakfast and then they ate
breakfast themselves after the food was consumed Tom's boys thanked me for
the fantastic summer overnight sleep over last nights dinner and the
breakfast that they had just finished. Within a few minutes they had
reloaded the fire ring and there sleeping bags, in less than an hour the
side yard was back to a basic normal, and the only ones that was left were
Tom and Oskar. As the boys helped me to clean up Tom called me to the porch
and said to me "will Oskar be coming home with me" I looked at him and said
"Oskar is home here" he smiled and departed so I went into the house
and. as I did I noticed that the boys, all of them were finishing the clean
up after the breakfast I grabbed an other cup of coffee and sat in the
living room and waited for them to come in and as they did I asked the to
make them selves comfortable, as they settled in I said "as you know Oskar
loves me and the feelings are mutual, this will not lessen how I feel about
all· of you, and he knows that we are a family not in the standard sense
of the word, but in a much more protective way" what happened next almost
freaked me out every one but Oskar started to clap, Todd was the spokesmen
and said "Dad we have talked this over and we want him too and we love you
and him just as much as we always have" I smiled and Oskar and Adam came to
me and wrapped there arms around me, as they did Adam said "at last I am
not the youngest anymore" as he said that we all started to crack up and
Oskar looked at me and said "what does that mean" I looked at him and said
"you don't want to know" and with that the laughing started all over again.

I know I have said this before it don't get much better than this, at least
in this lifetime.
