When the alarm would ring at 5am, my roommate would start wacking. 
I was very tired and couldn't believe my eyes! (as hard as it was to 
keep them open to catch him doing it).  After about a full week of 
this, I thought he must be thinking I'm always a sound sleeper and 
unaware of his activities, so one morning I asked him to please set 
his alarm a little softer because it always wakes me up and then I 
have trouble getting back to sleep.  This didn't seem to phase him 
much as he kept it up.

Finally, I confronted him with the following logic:  I do it, He 
does it, why try and hide it?  I find it difficult to find times 
when he's not there to quickly do it, and I'm sure the same thing 
happens to him, soo..... Why not just jerk off any darn time we feel 
like it, in the living room, kitchen, bathroom, wherever?

He went for it.  We started jerking off in front of each other two 
nights after my proposal.  Then, it naturally led to me offering to 
jerk him off, and he reciprocated, then.....  The rest is roommate 
history, although now he's married and we haven't spoken since 
college.  Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
