From Last Chapter:

Back in Sean's room, Colby was working hard on Sean's dick taking as much
of it in his mouth as he could. While Colby was sucking on Sean's rock
hard cock he let his hands roam all over Sean's body, caressing every inch
of it. It didn't take too long before Sean was warning Colby of his
pending orgasm. Sean grabbed Colby's head with both hands pumping his dick
into Colby's mouth as fast as he could just as he started to shoot his boy
cream down his boyfriend's mouth. Shot after shot of hot boy cum shot into
Colby's mouth causing Colby to have to swallow to keep form choking on all
the cum. After a minute or so Sean was able to slow his breathing down and
pulled Colby back up to his mouth kissing Colby, ramming his tongue in
Colby's mouth tasking his own cum.

After a few minutes of kissing Sean rolled Colby onto his back and started
kissing his way down to Colby's rock hard five inch dick. Sean stopped at
each of Colby's nipples to suck on them for a few minutes before moving on
to Colby's dick. Once there Sean licked down one side and back up the
other before licking his way down to Colby's low hanging balls. Sean
sucked one ball in his mouth moving it around with his tongue before
sucking the second one in so he could give both balls a tongue bath. Colby
moaned as Sean's tongue moved around his balls. Colby reached down and
gently pulled Sean off his balls and back up to the head of his raging hard
on. Sean took the hint and started taking Colby's dick in his mouth.
Slowly at first, inching his way down further and further until he had
Colby's entire dick in his mouth. Colby couldn't hold off any longer and
just like Sean, reached down to hold on to each side of Sean's head as he
pumped his dick in and out of Sean's mouth as fast as he could. After just
a few pumps of Colby's hips, Colby erupted in to Sean's mouth. Sean also
had to swallow to keep from choking on Colby's hot boy juice.

After Colby caught his breath he pulled Sean back up his body so they could
make out as he came down from his orgasmic high. Sean had saved some of
Colby's cum in his mouth so he could share it with Colby as they made out.
After several minutes of making out Sean lay his head on Colby's chest
shortly before they both faded into a deep sleep in each other's arms.

********** Chapter 24 **********

With Aaron now giving Sean and Colby a ride home from swimming practice
each night our nightly routine changed a little. Now Steve usually beat
Sean home so he would help me with dinner each night while Connor was
working on his home work or just hanging out with us. Every now and then
Steve and I would find some time to have a little alone time where we could
make out or take a quick shower together. I love those times.

Once in a while either Colby and or Aaron would stay for dinner. Usually
on Friday we would have one or both of them join us. Sometimes Colby would
stay the night and others Aaron would take him home after dinner. It was
obvious to Steve and I that the three of them had become great friends.

Steve and I would always make sure that we made time to attend each
swimming meet. We enjoyed watching Sean and Colby improve throughout the
season. You could tell that their hard work and extra practice time with
Aaron has paid off. Both Sean and Colby were both doing well and have
become some of the top swimmers on their team in the events they swim.

Both Sean and Conner where doing well in school. They both were very proud
when they brought their report cards home after the first semester came to
an end. It was about this time that I noticed something different with
Sean. I couldn't put my finger on what it was. He seemed to have
something bothering him but when I asked him about it he just told me
everything was fine.

One night when Colby was over I pulled him aside and asked him if he knew
what was wrong with Sean. Colby looked me straight in the eyes saying, "I
know there is something going on at school. Sean seems fine here at home
and once we get to swim practice but during school he seems nervous about
something. I have asked him what's wrong but he just says everything is
fine and tells me not to worry. But I know something is wrong."

I said, "Well I guess he will tell us when he is ready. Just keep an eye
on him for me and be there for him when he is ready to talk."

Colby smiled and said, "You know I will, Mike."

About two weeks later Sean was walking alone to his fourth period class.
One of only two classes Sean didn't have with Colby. Sean was walking
alone using the short cut behind the gym that Aaron had shown him. Just as
Sean rounded the corner of the gym he was hit in the side of the head.
Sean didn't even see it coming. Whatever hit Sean caused him to black out.
Everything seemed to be going in slow motion. Sean could hear sounds but
all he could see was blackness. Sean felt his body falling to the ground
followed by a shooting pain in his right side. Sean felt the ribs crack as
another blow to his right side sent shooting pain through his body. He was
confused in the blackness and thought, "What is happening to me? What is
causing the pain in my right side and head? I know that smell, what is
that smell?"

Sean felt something hit him in his stomach causing all the air in his lungs
leave his body. He could feel himself losing consciousness. He felt
himself falling deeper and deeper into the blackness and as he fell he
could feel more blows to his mid-section but they no longer hurt. As he
slid into total blackness Sean thought to himself, "What is going on, what
could be causing all this pain?" As Sean's body lay on the ground his
assailant continued to kick Sean's limp body several more times before
walking off.

As Aaron exited his fourth period class he looked around for Sean. They
usually met up and walked back to the main building together using the
short cut he had shown Sean. Aaron paused in the hallway for a few moments
to see if Sean was just running behind. He knew Sean was at school today
as they had talked earlier in the day. Aaron thought it was a little weird
but couldn't wait any longer and started off towards the main building.

As Aaron walked along the side of the gym he noticed someone lying on the
ground. As he got closer he realized it was Sean and he knew something was
horribly wrong. Aaron ran to Sean and stood over him looking down at his
friend in horror for several seconds. Aaron was in shock as he fell to his
knees beside Sean's beaten body. Sean's face was swollen, with trickles of
blood running down from the corner of his mouth. His shirt soiled with
what looked like foot prints all over it. Sean's right arm bent at an odd
angel between the elbow and wrist, obvious broken. Aaron placed his hand
gently on Sean's chest and was relieved to feel it move up and down with
each breath.

Aaron wanted to grab his friend and run with him to get help but knew
better than to move Sean. Aaron reached into his pocket grabbing his cell
phone and dialed 911. "My friend has been beaten up, he is unconscious but
breathing, we are on the back side of the gym at the high school. I need
help!" Aaron could hear the 911 operator typing as he spoke before he
heard her say, "I have help coming. Do you know what happened?"

"No, I just found him lying on the ground and he looks like he has been
beaten up!" Aaron was talking fast and was having trouble controlling his
emotions. Then he could hear the faint sounds of sirens in the distance.
The 911 operator was asking Aaron more questions, but they were not
registering in Aaron's mind. Aaron heard the 911 operator tell him to stay
one the line until help arrived. Just as she finished saying that Aaron
looked up to see one of the campus police officers running towards him.

Aaron hit the end call button on his phone and started yelling for the
officer to hurry. The sirens were getting loader and loader. When the
officer arrived he looked down at Sean's body and then spoke into his radio
before he grabbed Aaron by the shoulders shaking him. It took a couple of
shakes before Aaron realized what the officer was asking him to do.
"Aaron, I need you to go meet the ambulance out front and bring them back
here. Do you understand?" The officer had to repeat it again before Aaron
understood and started to run toward the front of the school. The
ambulance was just pulling up as Aaron got to the front of the school.
Aaron was able to get their attention and motioned for them to follow him
as he ran back to where Sean was lying.

By the time he got back with the ambulance there were several campus police
and teachers standing around Sean, one of them kneeling at Sean's head,
holding it on both sides telling Sean that he would be alright, and that
help was here. Aaron tried to run up to his friend but was stopped by an
officer and pulled away to the side as the medics from the ambulance
started treating Sean.

Officer Jones asked Aaron what had happened. Aaron told him everything
that he knew as he watched the medics attend to Sean with tears running
down his face. A lot of students had heard the commotion and had started
gathering around before the teachers started to run them off telling them
to get to their next class. The medics got Sean's arm in a splint and got
an IV started before they got him on a back board and loaded into the back
of the ambulance. Aaron wanted to go with Sean, but Officer Jones told him
he couldn't go in the ambulance.

Aaron told Officer Jones, "I have to go get his best friend and tell him
what happened. I also need to call his dads and tell them."

Officer Jones said, "The school is notifying his dad as we speak, Aaron.
Who else do we need to call?"

Aaron wiped the tears from his eyes saying, "His other dad, Mike. He's a
cop with Killeen and we need to tell his best friend Colby." Aaron was
talking fast and in short bursts but Officer Jones got it all.

Officer Jones was a friend of mine as we had worked together many times
since my patrol area was near the high school. Office Jones asked Aaron,
"Do you know where Colby's class is?"

Aaron said, "Yeah he is in the math and science hall."

Officer Jones grabbed Aaron by the arm and headed towards the math and
science hall in the main building as the ambulance pulled off headed
towards the Army hospital on post. As they walked toward Colby's class
room, Officer Jones pulled out his cell phone and dialed my number.

"Hey Jones, what's going on over at the school? I heard dispatch send EMS
over there. If fact I am making my way over that way know." I said after
I answered the phone.

Officer Jones said in a very serious voice, "Yeah Mike, I got some bad news
though. It's about Sean Crispin. I know he lives with you. Mike, he got
beat up real bad. They are transporting him to the base hospital now. He
is unconscious and looks to have a broken arm. The school is notifying his
dad now. I have Aaron with me and we are headed to get his best friend
Colby out of class to tell him." Officer Jones got it all out in just a
couple of breathes as fast as he could.

"My God, do you know what happened?" I asked.

Officer Jones told me the little he knew before he said they were coming up
on Colby's classroom. I said, "Tell Aaron that I am on my way to the
hospital now. Ask him to stop at the middle school and pick up Sean's
brother Connor and bring him and Colby to the hospital. Can you call the
middle school and let them know what's going on and let them know that
Aaron is picking Connor up? Thanks for calling, bud. I will call you
later."

As Officer Jones got off the phone with me as he and Aaron arrived at
Colby's classroom. Jones had to grab Aaron by the arm to prevent him from
walking right into the classroom. Jones looked Aaron in the eyes saying,
"Ok Aaron, take a couple of deep breaths. I will go in and have Colby come
out here and we can tell him what happened out here. Also, Mike has asked
that you bring Colby to the hospital after stopping to get Sean's little
brother at the middle school. Once we tell Colby we all need to go to the
office to get Colby's parents' permission and then get you guys signed out.
You got it? You ready?"

Aaron wiped his eyes again and shook his head up and down indicating that
he understood. Officer Jones went to the classroom door and stepped
inside. Everyone in the classroom looked as Office Jones whispered
something to the teacher. Officer Jones then looked around the room
stopping when he located Colby.

Colby had been uneasy since class had started. He heard some other
students talking about someone being taken away in an ambulance. He had
this feeling that something bad had happened or was about to happen and
when he made eye contact with Officer Jones he almost started crying.
"Colby can I see you in the hallway?"

Colby got up, never taking his eyes off Officer Jones as he slowly walked
to the door. The classroom was completely silent and Colby could feel the
eyes of every student looking at him. When Colby walked out in the hallway
and saw Aaron standing there the tears started to run down his cheeks
because he knew something had to be wrong with Sean. Colby just stood
there looking at Aaron. Aaron stepped up to Colby putting a hand on each
of Colby's shoulders and looking him in the eye before he said, "Colby,
Sean is on the way to the hospital. Someone beat him up behind the gym. I
found him lying on the ground. Mike told me to get you and bring you to
the hospital."

Colby just stood there in shock, not knowing what to do or say. He finally
got the words to form in his head but still had trouble to voice them. All
he could get out is, "Is Sean ok?"

Officer Jones nudged both Sean and Colby towards the main office so he
could get them signed out. As they walked Aaron told Colby everything he
knew about what had happened. Colby couldn't believe it and seemed to be
just walking in a daze.

Before long Aaron was helping Colby into his Jeep and headed off towards
the middle school to pick up Connor. Colby sat in the passenger seat just
staring out the front windshield as Aaron went in to get Connor. Aaron
could tell Connor had been crying when he walked into the office. Officer
Jones had called ahead and explained everything to the school counselor who
in turn had pulled Connor out of class and explained the situation to him.
When Connor saw Aaron walk in the office he jumped from his chair and ran
to Aaron hugging Aaron around the waist pushing his face into Aaron's shirt
as he started to cry again. Aaron just held on to Connor for a few minutes
and let him cry before he pulled Connor back so he could look into his eyes
and say, "Come on little man, let's get you to the hospital so you can see
your brother. Everything is going to be fine. You'll see."

Aaron got Connor signed out and walked him out to his Jeep where they
found Colby still staring out the front windshield. Aaron helped Connor
into the back seat and then jumped in and headed to the Army base hospital.

After I got the call from Officer Jones, I called Steve to check on him and
to tell him I was headed to the hospital. He was on his way to the
hospital and seemed very calm. I got the feeling the school official that
called him had down played how seriously Sean was hurt. I told Steve I had
made arrangements for Aaron to pick up Connor from school and bring him to
the hospital.

I arrived at the hospital first and went in to see Sean. I almost lost it
when I walked into the ER room. Several doctors and nurses were all
working on Sean at the same time. Sean's face was now swollen and starting
to turn different shades of black and blue. They had cut off all of Sean's
clothes and I could see the marks on his chest and stomach from being
kicked.

I was told that Steve had arrived and I went out to meet him before he came
in to see Sean. We went into a room where we had a little privacy. I
pulled Steve into a hug before looking him in his eyes and telling him what
little I knew about what had happened and what I had seen in the ER room.
Steve's face lost some color as he came to realize how serious this was.

After a few minutes I walked Steve into the ER room. Things had slowed
down a little and Steve was allowed to lean down and give Sean a kiss on
the forehead as he took in all of Sean's injuries. The tears were running
down Steve's face as he stroked Sean's hair. I stood behind Steve with me
hand on his back just to let him know that I was there for him.

After a few minutes, one of doctors started to tell us what they were doing
for Sean. Steve just stared at Sean's face as the doctor talked. The
doctor said there biggest concern was the possibility of brain swelling so
they were going to put Sean into a medical induced coma to allow Sean's
brain to heal. The doctor also said they would set Sean's broken arm and
continue to treat his other injuries while he was in a coma.

I had to pull Steve away from Sean's bedside so the doctors could do what
they needed to do. We went back to the private waiting room where I just
held Steve as he cried. Steve cried for several minutes before pulling
himself together. He just kept asking how such a thing could happen to his
boy. I didn't know what to tell him. As a cop, I see a lot of crimes that
don't make any sense at all.

About twenty minutes later a nurse opened the door to our private waiting
room and Connor was standing outside along with Colby and Aaron. You could
tell that all three had been crying. As soon as Connor saw his dad he came
running through the door and into his dad's arms. Connor started to cry
again as Steve hugged him. I hugged the both of them. I heard the door
shut and looked to see where Colby and Aaron where. They were both
standing just inside the door, both with tears running down their cheeks,
with Aaron's hand resting on Colby's shoulder. I turned to them and,
without saying a word, Colby stepped into my arms and started to cry.
Aaron just stood there looking at us. I reached out and pulled Aaron into
my arms as well. We all cried for a few minutes before we were able to
control our emotions.

We all sat down in our little waiting room chatting about what we thought
happened as we waited for word from the doctor on Sean's condition. It
seemed like forever before the doctor came in. When he did all five of us
went silent and just stared at him for a moment.

Steve stood up, sticking his hand out to introduce himself to the doctor
saying, "I'm Sean's father, Steve. Is my son ok?" Connor moved over and
stood right in front of Steve. Steve put his hands on Connor's shoulders
waiting for the doctor to speak.

The doctor looked around at the rest of us as he introduced himself. "Hi,
I'm Doctor Smith; I'm the lead trauma doctor treating your son. Is it ok
to speak in front of these young men?"

Steve said, "Yes. This is Sean's younger brother Connor" glancing down at
Connor. "And this is my partner, Mike, and Sean's two best friends, Colby
and Aaron. You can speak freely in front of all of them." I'm not even
sure if Steve realized he just outted us to this military doctor. At that
moment I don't think it really mattered to Steve.

Doctor Smith said, "Ok then. Well, as you know Sean seems to have been
beaten up pretty badly. We have cleaned all his abrasions up and set his
broken arm. Sean has four broken ribs on his right side. Our biggest
concern is his head injuries. We believe he received several blows to his
head and are concerned there may be some brain swelling. We have sedated
Sean and will keep him in a medical induced coma for the next forty eight
hours as we monitor his brain pressure. If we don't see any increase in
the pressure in the next forty eight hours he will be out of the woods.
Sean will be in intensive care for the next few days as we monitor him. Do
you have any questions right now?"

Connor spoke up, "When can I see my brother?"

Doctor Smith looked at Connor with a smile saying, "Well, young man, we are
moving Sean to the intensive care unit as we speak. Once they get him all
set up in there then you can go in and see him but only two at a time and
then for only five minutes. Sean is very sick and needs to rest. I will
have a nurse come in and let you know as soon as they have Sean settled."

Doctor Smith shook each of our hands and excused himself after telling us
that he would check in with us later. Several minutes later a nurse
knocked on the door saying, "Hi, I'm Nurse Brady. I will be looking after
Sean for the next several hours. We have him settled in his room if you
would like to go in and see him. Only two at a time and the younger guys
need to be with a parent."

I looked over at Steve and said, "You take Connor in. We will wait here."

Nurse Brady smiled at Steve and Connor saying, "Ok. I just want to let you
know that when you go in Sean is going to have a lot of wires and tubes.
We have him sedated and we are using a machine to help him breath. Sean's
face and body are swollen right now from his injuries and his face is
starting to turn black and blue from the bruising. He can hear you so you
can talk to him and hold his hand but that is about it for right now. So
if you guys are ready I can take you in."

Steve looked at me for a moment and then down at Connor. "Are you sure you
want to go in?"

Connor looked up at his dad with tears running down his face, "Yeah, I want
to see my brother dad."

Steve held Connor close to him as they walked to Sean's room. Steve had to
bite his lip in order to control his emotions when he saw his son lying
there with all the wires and tubes sticking out of him. Steve hardly
recognized his own son due to the swelling and bruising.

Steve and Connor both stood there looking at Sean. Nurse Brady stepped up
and whispered to Connor, "It's ok to be a little scared. Sean is a strong
young man and he's going to be fine. You can hold his hand if you want."

Connor took a step forward and reached out for Sean's hand. Steve put his
hand over Connors and Sean's and squeezed them both. Steve leaned down
next to Sean's ear and whispered, "Sean you keep fighting. You're going to
be just fine. Connor and I are both here and we both love you so much.
Mike, Colby and Aaron are here also and will be in to see you soon. We
love you son and we will be here every minute until you are better."

Connor started to cry again, laying his head on his dad's hand. Nurse
Brady came up behind them both patting both on the back as they both cried.
After a couple of minutes Nurse Brady said, "Connor, I promise we will do
everything we can to make sure that Sean gets better. Why don't you let
your dad stay here and you come back to the waiting room with me."

Connor kissed Sean's hand before wiping away the tears from his eyes.
Nurse Brady put her hands on Connor's shoulders and led him back to the
waiting room. I was standing in the waiting room when Connor came in,
running right into my arms. I just held Connor tight as he sobbed. Nurse
Brady asked if anyone else wanted to go in. I looked over at Colby and
said, "Colby if you want, why don't you go in next."

Colby looked to Nurse Brady who led him to Sean's room. Steve was still
standing next to Sean's bed holding his hand when he saw Colby come in.
Steve motioned for Colby to come closer. Colby stepped up next to the bed
and Steve whispered to Colby all the instructions Nurse Brady had told him
and Connor earlier. Colby reached out and gently took Sean's hand into
his. He just sat there looking at Sean's hand, afraid to look at Sean's
face. Steve hugged Colby whispering, "He is going to be alright Colby, but
you are going to have to be strong for him and help him get through this.
I know you love Sean and I know that Sean loves you. He needs you now more
than ever." Colby wanted to say something but couldn't make any words. He
just sat there holding his boyfriend's hand.

After a few minutes, Steve whispered, "Colby we have to go. We need to let
Sean get his rest. Let's go so Mike and Aaron can come in and see Sean.
Colby kissed Sean's hand as Steve leaned in to whisper in Sean's ear,
"Colby is here but we have to leave for a few minutes. Mike and Aaron want
to come in and see you. Then I will be back. I love you son."

After Steve and Colby returned, Aaron and I went in to see Sean. I was
amazed how much worse he looked. His face was swollen and turning black
and blue. I let Aaron move up to hold Sean's hand. I put my hand on
Aaron's back just to let him know that I was there for him. After a few
minutes I leaned in and whispered, "Sean, Aaron's here with me. He found
you and got help to you. Sean, I promise you we will find out who did this
to you. You keep fighting buddy. We all love you, buddy. Hang in there."

When I pulled Aaron away from Sean's bedside he turned and nearly collapsed
in my arms crying. I pulled Aaron into my arms hugging him as tight as I
could. After a few minutes Aaron pulled away, wiping the tears away from
his eyes and said, "I wish I had never shown that short cut to Sean. He
would have never been there if I hadn't and this wouldn't have happened to
him."

I looked Aaron in the eyes saying, "Aaron look at me. This is not your
fault. This is not Sean's fault. Someone purposely did this to Sean for
whatever reason. We will find that person. Sean is going to need all his
friends and family to get through this. Steve and I need you to be there
for Sean. He will make it through this but only with our love, help and
support. This is not your fault and I want to make sure you understand
that."

Aaron hugged me again just saying, "Thanks Mike and I promise I will be
there for Sean."

We both looked back at Sean one more time before we walked back to the
waiting room. Once there, I realized it was getting late and none of us
had eaten. After talking with Steve we agreed that he was going to stay
with Sean while I took Connor, Colby and Aaron home. I went down to the
hospital cafeteria and got Steve something to eat while he explained our
plan to the boys.

When I got back to the waiting room Steve had the boys ready to leave.
Aaron was going to follow me to the PD so I could drop off my patrol unit
and get my truck. We would then go to Colby's house and drop him off.
Steve had called Colby's mom and explained what was going on and Colby
asked his parents if he could skip school the next day and come to the
hospital to see Sean. After some convincing from Steve they agreed but
wanted Colby to come home for the night. Before we left the hospital I
leaned that Aaron's family was gone for the week and he was staying home
alone. I told Aaron that I didn't think he should be alone tonight and
told him that he could come home with Connor and me.
