Chapter 3 Saturday

It was about 8:30 Saturday morning when I woke up. Todd and I always get a
good night sleep when we stay in hotels on leave because during the month
we only sleep on these skimpy cots that the army provides. Todd was still

this would be our last dance and that we would finish our sodas and leave
the bar.

So we did just that. It was now around 4pm and we decided to go out for
dinner so we started driving around looking for some place to eat. Todd
noticed that there was a Sizzler Steak House so that's where we headed for
dinner. We both ordered the filet mignon and we pigged out at the salad
bar. After dinner we headed back to the Hotel for the night. We arrived
back at the hotel around 8pm.

We went up to the room and we changed into some comfortable pajamas. We
turned on the big screen TV and cuddled up on the couch. Todd was lying
with his head on my chest and I started playing with his brown hair. I know
that he likes to have his hair played with I knew that it would relax
him. We just sat there most of the night watching different Television
shows. Todd fell asleep in my arms and I just leaned back on the pillow on
the couch and rested my head on it. I fell asleep not too much longer after
Todd did. I woke up and looked at the clock and it said 3 a.m. Also, Todd
was gone he was rolled up under the covers of the bed. I guess he had woke
up during the night and didn't want to disturb me so he covered me with an
afghan that was on the back of the couch. So I quietly made my way into bed
and tried to get comfortable without disturbing Todd. Finally I found my
spot where I was comfortable and fell back to sleep.
