Subject: An Ugly Ballet (poem)

AN UGLY BALLET

Three young men performing a ballet of sorts
Like well-hung sailors, pricks in all ports
Pretty boys and bodies perfectly honed
Willy does the gland jive while fully boned

An ugly ballet with beautiful players
Wriggling and writhing in dutiful layers
Flesh slicked and sheened in perspiration
Their own gender the main inspiration

The camera shifts to stage right and then left
A story with no meaning and plot bereft
What looks like a dance is really just a tangle
But at least we can see the angle of dangle
