               TIGHTER THAN SKIN-TIGHT JEANS  -- A FASHION REVIEW

As a high school student in the mid-sixties one went along with the
fashion of wearing one's pants very tight.  The popular styles of slacks
were designed to fit tightly, either low-waisted beltless Continental
type, or the Crews Model with its waist at the navel and with wide belt
loops and high cut front pockets.  Both hugged the buns with a deep cut
center seam and did not hide what one was packing in front.  In either
case the legs were stovepipe cut, very narrow from the hips  and further
tapering to the cuffless bottom, which was just above the anklebone,
exposing a pair of bulky heather wool sox, slipped into loafers.  A dark
plaid button-down shirt and shaggy-styles sweater completed the look.

Most schools frowned on jeans, and in fact, usually had dress codes
forbidding them.  However, the dress codes referred to 'blue jeans" so
the prohibition did not include the various new fashion earth-tones
colors then available, nor corduroy jeans in similar colors.  The brands
of choice were first Wranglers and second Levis.   Of course the jeans
were designed to fit snugly, and by buying a size smaller than the
standard, they definitely were skin-tight.

But one who was daring went beyond that look and selected in a favorite
color -- usually loden green, bronze, or copper tan,-- a pair of jeans
that fit as snugly as a rubber glove  Jeans labeled "slim cut" were
purchased a couple sizes smaller than traditional fit.  One's genitals
were carefully displayed with the testes balanced either side of the
center seam and the penis pointing upwards to the right or left,
depending on one's preference.  A thin pair of briefs (or better yet, no
underwear) were essential when one wore this style, as they were also for
the more dressy tight pants.

Beyond that, if one had the body and the "balls" -- and could find the
right jeans -- one could wear "tighter than skin-tight-jeans."  Now, it
was something if one wore this fat for alter school (usually in regular
blue denim fabric), but the really courageous were seen wearing this fit
in school, regardless of dress code inhibitions or not.  A heavy leather
belt secured the waist.  It didn't matter for the look whether underwear
were wore or not but they were considered superfluous.

It was easy for the wearer to determine if he was wearing that fit.  An
hour in a pair of tighter-than-skin-tight jeans and you had a numbing
feeling in your genitalia, and perhaps: thighs, calves, and buttocks.
Depending on one's actual waist compared with the measurement of the
jeans waist, the jeans might squeeze your belly.  When you removed the
jeans the seams left indentations on both the inside and outside of your
legs and along your hips.  If the jeans had studs attaching the pockets
and the belt loops, prominent 1/4 inch diameter marks were found in those
positions.

Needless to say,  these fashions kept the wearer well stimulated as to
his sexuality and sexual urges, and he was more than ready to indulge in
satisfying them.   Similarly, these fashions kept the viewer in a similar
condition.
