"I hope you know how much I care about you."  Sammy said.

"Then why are you selling me off?  Emmanuel blurted out.

Sammy just looked at Emmanuel, confused by his comment.

The phone rang before Sammy could process what Emmanuel had said.  It was
Dean calling from the hospital.

"Sammy?  Its Tom......"  said Dean between sobs.

Danny's Rehah Program or Sammy's New Business Chapter 19

"Oh my God," Emmanuel heard Sammy say into the phone.  "What happened?"
Sammy continued.

"Tom died last night while asleep.  He never woke up.  They won't know for
sure what it was until they do an autopsy.  You need to tell Kevin to get
down here right away before they move him out of h is room."  Dean said in
a very sad voice.

"Tom died, I need to go tell Kevin."  Sammy said to Emmanuel, as he hung
up.

"I'll come with you," Emmanuel said seeing how shaken Sammy was and
intuitively knowing that he would need support.

They knocked on the guest room door and walked in; finding Gerson spooning
Kevin as they began to stir.

Sammy touched Kevin's shoulder as Kevin blinked confusedly, trying to focus
his eyes. "Kevin, its your dad, he died in his sleep last night."

Kevin sprung into a sitting position and then said painfully, "NO ....no
dad don't leave me...."and began to weep.  Gerson scooted over to him at
the same time as Emmanuel sat next to him on the other side.  They both
hugged him tightly as he grieved.  Sammy touched Kevin's head softly and
said, "You need to get down to the hospital right away if you want to see
your Dad before they move him."

Kevin pulled himself together and bracketed his emotions so that he could
function and he and Gerson departed for the hospital; while Dean remained
behind at Sammy's to call the guys at the Ranch and let them know the sad
news. Jimmy answered the phone out at the Ranch and Dean broke the news to
him in a sadly-breaking voice as the others gathered round Jimmy to hear
the latest news. Dean told them that Gerson and Kevin had gone to the
hospital with Sammy and Emmanuel so Kevin could see his Dad before the body
was moved; and he asked Jimmy to check Danny's computer and let their
friends and Tom's know about the tragic news.

They buried Tom next to Danny at the Ranch three days later; all the guys
gathered around the grave which was shaded by a rather large tree.  Kevin
said a prayer thanking God for the gift of his father and also asked Danny
to take care of him until their next meeting.  The guys were acting very
sombre and most of them felt deeply the loss of Tom who had been like a
father to them.  Only Nick was somewhat out of sync, never having known
either Tom or Danny.  He could see however, that the lives of all these
young men had been deeply affected.  No one felt much like cooking that
night, but Nick who had worked for a time in a pizza parlour offered to
make some pizzas.  That evening the guys sat around the huge stone
fireplace in the main house reminiscing about Tom and Danny.  A message of
condolence was received from Andre and Michael who were at a competition
somewhere in Canada.

Kevin was in somewhat of a daze.  Gerson and Dean had stayed constantly
close to him and he often cried on either of their shoulders.  Sammy and
Emmanuel observed closely how all the guys seemed to act as if one, like a
true brotherhood.  Even Bobby was showing signs of depression.  When Nick
finally brought in the pizzas everyone was famished and they all lunged
into the pies.  Nick who had been somewhat reluctant to accept his new
circumstances was thrilled in spite of himself to see all these hot guys
enjoying what he had prepared.  Bobby went out first to check on one of the
mares that was due to foal, taking Paco with him.

When Bobby and Paco reached the barn they saw that the mare had breached
her water.  Paco ran back to the house to tell the others while Bobby
stayed with the new mom to soothe her.  Within a short while all the guys
were gathered around watching fascinated as the birth took place.  Sammy
and Emmanuel were arm in arm, while Jer was trying to help Bobby but had no
idea of what to do.  Kevin and Dean stood close together, Kevin leaning on
Dean as Gerson and Jimmy stood at the back watching intently.  Nick came in
last, and felt like an outsider until Kevin reached out to him and put his
other arm around him.  It took about an hour for the foal to come
completely free of the mare but it all seemed to pass by very quickly.  The
night was cold, but everyone was hugging one another and no one complained.
Once the colt was free Bobby instructed the guys to separate it from the
mare.

"Leave it be, that's cruel!" Nick protested.

"Look, if we don't separate it from the mother to dry it off, it will never
get used to humans.  We need to take it away and dry it off.  Right now it
is imprinting us!"  Bobby explained as he pulled the colt over into another
stall and handed towels to the guys.  They all helped dry the colt.

"I guess its like us when we were reborn here with Danny.  He was what we
saw as we came out of rehab and he is what we have all identified with,"
Gerson said.

"So that means that Nick here became another Paco?"  Dean said jokingly.
"Just what we needed around here is another damn Paco!"  Everyone began to
laugh, but they were beginning to see the truth.  Each had been reborn in
the image of whoever was their master.

That night they all decided to sleep together, so after they returned the
colt to his mom, they all went into the communal shower and almost as a
religious rite began bathing one another.  Sammy's mind was blown as he
participated.  Everyone took turns lathering everyone else.  Even Nick was
now discovering how much he did want to be part of this brotherhood. Once
they were all back at the main room up at the house, Gerson presented to
each of the newer boys their chain.  That night they all slept naked in the
family room of the house warmed by the huge fire in the big stone chimney.
There were no penetrations, but there was much kissing and caressing as
they each consoled Kevin and each other.

In the morning at breakfast Sammy announced that he and Emmanuel would be
staying at the Ranch if the others would accept them and was surprised when
Bobby said that they would have to pass the mustard test first.  All
laughed so hard that some had to hold their sides.  Gerson ordered Nick
into Danny's bedroom and introduced him into the meaning of a master's deep
penetrations and pushed all his fears and anxieties out of his head.

Epilogue

That night Sammy invited Emmanuel to show him what Reese and Sammy's other
'friends' had taught him.  When Emmanuel penetrated Sammy's anal canal,
Sammy was suddenly liberated from his inner slavery.
