Gabriel and Goldermer walked together along a beach more beautiful than

temper again and were about to leave without offering your help in rescuing

Looking up to speak, Goldermer found himself standing on the sandy beach

have been promised if they turn Joshua and Jerrod over to the spirits
they'll be given great powers".

"There are a few non-Arabs in the group who are opposing this, believing
it's evil and attempting to close the door to the spirit realm with the
majority of the group trying to stop them from interfering from what they
mistakenly think is a golden opportunity to gain power".

"Valen and Jaric have been given permission to leave Eden in an effort to
stop the ombiasy from throwing Jerrod and Joshua through the portal into
the spirit realm".

I gathered from what Valen said that the ombiasy are a bunch of misfits who
basically have been playing with magic without a clue as to what they're
getting into so they're in danger themselves without realizing it.

Thomas wondered aloud how Valen found out that Jerrod and Joshua had
traveled to Tanzania and were taken hostage by the ombiasy.

Jerry said, "apparently some angel name Regal was supposed to be watching
over them and he telepathically contacted Valen and asked that the message
be passed on to you".

Both Thomas and Benjamin said, "Reggie!!!".

Rolling his eyes Benjamin said, "well if Reggie was supposed to be looking
after them no wonder they're in trouble".

"Now Benjamin let's not be too hard on Reggie, he does his best, he just
seems to get side tracked at times".

"That's one way of putting it Thomas".  "Joshua and Jerrod are good men,
Thomas we need to help them and it appears we'd better to it quickly".

Turning to Thomas, Benjamin saw he was already on the phone with Luke
telling him to fuel up the four engine transport and prepare for a long
trip to the east side of Africa along the Indian Ocean.  It was yet to be
determined where the landing site would be.

"Luke, will you ask all the men to be ready for another adventure that
might be dangerous so have them pack everything they might need".

"Will do Thomas".

"Horses will have to wait, we need to head back to the ranch and get things
moving, time is of the essence".

Bill and David were filled in and since they had met Jerrod and Joshua,
they were trying to make a mind link with them.  They weren't having any
luck until Walt walked over and put his hands on each of their shoulders.

This was a new experience for Bill and Dave because they not only made a

been physically misused and there were several non-Arabic men surrounding

The Arab group was much larger and one man was speaking loudly swinging a
sword around and pointing in the direction of Jerrod and Joshua.  He was
screaming that they must throw the infidels to the spirits so they would be
granted supernatural powers.

Many of the Arabs seemed willing to join in this unholy deed while others
appeared dubious at best.

    "Jerrod, Joshua we know where you are and we're going to rescue you,
    try to keep the situation fluid for a couple of more days until we can
reach
    you.  "Do whatever you have to in order to stall, try to make the Arabs
    understand that the spirits are tricking them and won't give them any
real power".

Joshua replied that they understood and would do their best to stall the
Arabs from turning them over to the spirits.  "The Europeans who are here
with us are doing they best to keep us safe".

The overnight flight to Tanzania was long and tedious.  We flew in arch
over the Indian Ocean and skirted the border with Kenya before turning
southwest toward Tabora where there was a dilapidated airfield.  Luke and

We were hoping to run into or at least hear from Valen and Jaric by now but

be careful, it's possible this is another set up to trap us all in one
place.

They promised they would and vanished.

Within mere minutes there were flashes in the sky in the area over what
should be Kigoma.  Thomas yelled, "double time" as he hurried the men to
join in the battle that was obviously taking place.

Word spread to the new members that those flashes in the sky meant there
was one hell of battle going on in the spirit realm which also meant Jerry,
Sparkle, and Jonathan had their hands full.

Thirty minutes later they heard gun fire which indicated Jerrod, Joshua and
the others were in danger from some of the Arabs.

Bill, Dave and Walt dropped back letting the others move ahead and they
joined hands and teleported themselves into the village of Kigoma.  They
found Jerrod, Joshua and the Europeans huddled together with an invisible
shield protecting them.  Valen and Jaric were with them tending to
injuries.

The battle being waged in the heavens was horrific, they had never
witnessed anything like it.  There were literally millions of vermin,
demons, and fallen angels doing battle against Jerry, Jonathan and Sparkle.
The three of them were standing back to back holding their own, but Bill,
Dave and Jerry couldn't imagine how with the hordes that were coming
against them.

Joining together Bill, Walt, and Dave sent out an energy wave of such
brilliance that countless vermin and demons were wiped out, but the fallen
angels were unaffected and were surrounding Jerry and the wizards and
moving in for the kill.

Jerry reached behind him taking Jonathan and Sparkles hands, the three of
them begin to rotate, within seconds they were rotating at such a speed
that you couldn't make out who or what they were.

Dave said, "join hands again, Walt we need more power, lets see what we can
do to help Jerry and the guys out".

Walt said, "I have a feeling they don't need our help but let's do it
anyway".

Before they had a chance to send out a stronger energy wave there was what
appeared to be a rip in space as it opened into nothing but blackness. the
fallen angels were literally sucked into the void as they fought and
struggled to put distance between themselves and the rift.  Wings and limbs

void.  With a clap of thunder that was deafening the rift closed.

The gun fire on the ground continued as that battle raged with Thomas and
his men that had arrived and were fighting with everything they had to push
the ombiasy back away from those huddled together inside the shield.

The original plan was to try and save as many as the ombiasy as they could,
but with the fighting taking a more vicious turn it was a battle to save
their own lives now.

Jerry threw up a shield covering Thomas and the guys before tuning to the
ombiasy and flattening them out in the dirt.  Thomas and his men surrounded
them quickly and removed their weapons.

"Well done guys".

"Reggie!!!"

Benjamin was in Reggie's face immediately screaming, "I see you fucked up
again, I thought you were supposed to be protecting these men".

"Cool your heals Benjamin, as you can see it all turned out just fine".

"You think this turned out just fine do you Regal?"

The grin on Reggie's face was gone as quickly as it appeared.

"You're all done Regal, it's back to fertilizing the flowers in the gardens

Surprising everyone Benjamin asked Michael if he could speak to Regal.

"I have no idea why you would want to converse with this angel who tends to

realize you fought with me in the past and I also know I'm not supposed to
remember it".  "Most of it I don't remember, it's all very fuzzy, but I do
know that you were trying to keep me from doing something I would later

Regal actually looked like his heart was broken as he took Benjamin into

Heaven in the flower gardens would give you time to contemplate what you
need to do to improve your angelic duties".

Thomas joined the conversation asking if there was anything they could do
to help Reggie, "we hate to see him punished Michael, he has done a lot to
help us in the past".

Looking at Regal, Michael said, "Regal you have some wonderful friends
here, I'm amazed at their compassion".

Facing Thomas and the others Michael said, "I'll give your request on
Regal's behalf serious thought".  "Thank all of your for your help in
saving Jerrod and Joshua from a dreadful fate".  "I'm hoping you'll take
Joshua and Jerrod back to your ranch for some rest and relaxation, they
really should spend some time with all of you".

Thomas looked at Michael with a tilt of his head at hearing that strange
request.  Michael smiled and winked as he and Reggie vanished.

"Joshua and Jerrod we'd love to have you join us at the ranch, will you
consider it?"

Looking shy Jerrod said, Thomas we wanted to ask if we could join you when
you were in Eden but we weren't sure if we should impose on you, we hadn`t
any idea Michael was going to suggest it".

Valen are you and Jaric going to be okay or can we give you a lift back to
Eden?"  "Thanks Thomas but we have our own transportation'.  "We are
pleased to see you all again, and we also need to thank you for coming when
we asked for your help".

"Valen it was our pleasure to help and may we also offer you and Jaric an
invitation to join us at the ranch".

Laughing Valen said, "actually we'd love to join you Thomas, but I'm not
sure this is a good time, you've just taken on two additional guests".

Thomas put his arms around both Valen and Jaric's waist as he smiled and
said, "hey guys the more the merrier, is there anything you have to take
care of first?"

"Yes we'll have to return to Eden and make our arrangements there, we'll
let you know when we can join you, if that works for all of you".

"We'll be waiting to hear from you then, have a good trip back to Eden".

"You too Thomas".

Jerry, Walt, Mike, Arnold, and Kentucky looked at Thomas and Benjamin as
Arnold asked, "Eden?"

"It's a long story guys one for the balcony at the ranch with a few cold
beers to go with it".

"Man we can't wait to hear more of the adventures you guys have been
through, "Eden", wow!"

Back home Thomas suggested they get back to the horse ranch and decide
which horses they wanted to add to the herd they already had.

Jerry stood there shaking his head.

Smiling Thomas said, "what's up Jerry?"

"Thomas you guys never cease to amaze me, we go on a wild and exciting
adventure and when we're back home you all act like it's just another day
in the life of the average Joe".

"Well it's not just another day in the life of an average Joe, but it has
become a rather routine happening in our lives Jerry".  "I think we get
back to what we think of as normal as a way of mentally adjusting to the
extraordinary lives we do lead".

"So you ready to go pick out a horse?"

Cracking up with laughter Jerry leaned on Thomas's shoulder giving him a
kiss on the cheek, "yes boss, let's go pick out a horse".
