this story that isn't pure imagination.

"Benjamin and Me"

Chapter 3

Nine-thirty came and no sign of Benjamin, ten o'clock came and still no
sign of Benjamin, I was getting worried and Larry's pacing the floor wasn`t
helping. Eleven o'clock and then midnight came and went, I put on a
sweater and was getting ready to head out in search for Ben when he
materialized in front of us. I've never seen such agony on a man's face,
Benjamin put his arms around me and cried like I've never heard any man cry
before. Larry was beside himself not knowing if something had happened to
Billy and Glen, he came over and put his arms around Ben and I, tears
streaking his face. Finally Benjamin calmed himself enough for us to ask
what had happened.

"I followed them back to a make-sift garage apartment behind someone's
house, I shouldn't have followed them inside but there was such a strong
feeling that something was desperately wrong that I slipped in and watched
as Glen put his son to bed". "The place is a tiny one room with a hot
plate for cooking and a broken toilet and shower behind a curtain". "Glen
had kept it as clean and neat as he possibly could". "As bad as their
living situation is the worst was what followed after Billy had fallen
asleep".

Benjamin went on to tell us that at ten o'clock a huge man who must have
weighted at least three-hundred pounds came out of the house and rapped on
the apartment door. Glen open it and asked this filthy looking man if he
could skip tonight explaining that his son had been upset and he wanted to
stay with him. The guy grabbed Glen by the front of his shirt and told him
to get his ass in the basement and strip if he and his son wanted to
continue having a place to live. Glen walked back to his son and knelt
down kissing his forehead before quietly closing the door behind him as he
followed this horrible smelly human being into the main house and down to
the basement. The guy slapped Glen across the face and told him to get out
of his clothes. Glen took his clothes off and was told to take the guys
pants off, Glen obeyed and when he pulled his pants down around the guys
ankles the guys body smell was enough to make you sick.

He ordered Glen to lick his balls and then suck his cock which Glen did
with tears filling his eyes. This monster had built a stockade in the
basement and after Glen had sucked his cock he was told to go to the
stockade where he put his head and hands which were then locked in this
medieval contraption. Glen was bent over so the guy could fuck him without
Glen being able to protect himself or move. I heard Glen say, "Terry
please don't do this". Terry laughed and took a short whip with multiple
straps and started whipping Glen's ass and back. When his ass was red and
bleeding Terry fucked him without using any lube, he just slammed into him
again and again until he climaxed. When he pulled out of Glen he walked
around in front of him and made Glen suck his cock clean, then turning
around made Glen lick his filthy ass. Terry unlocked the stockade and hit
Glen again and told him same time tomorrow and no more complaining unless
he wanted
his son thrown out in the cold.

Glen grabbed his clothes and went upstairs and ran out behind his apartment
and threw up before falling to his knees and sobbing.

Larry was shaking with anger, "why didn't you stop this Benjamin, how could
you just stand there and watch?" "Larry I've never felt like I wanted to
kill anyone before tonight and I knew if I materialized there would be
screaming and enough commotion to wake Billy". "Do you have any idea what
this would have done to Glen to have Billy discover what his dad was doing
to keep a roof over his head". Larry was ranting now as he grabbed his
coat and said he was going over to get Glen and Billy out of that hell
hole. Thomas took his arm and stopped him, "calm down Larry we're just as
upset as you are, what has happened is over now". "Glen is coming over
tomorrow so I can talk to him about Billy. "Do you want to add more horror
to the guilt Billy's already carrying?" Larry sat down and put his face in
his hands and started crying, Benjamin knelt before him and pulled him into
a hug and let him cry his anger out.

"Larry we'll make sure this is the last night Glen and Billy live where
they are, we'll move them here where they'll be safe". "We'll also see
what we can do to get Glen back on his course of study where he had been
before Billy's mother dropped Billy off on his doorstep". "What I need you
to do is get beds and furniture here for two of the extra upstairs bedrooms
that are unused". That means rugs, dressers, clothing, pictures, lamps,
everything you can think of to give those rooms a feeling of lived in
comfort". "We're going to change the life style of Glen and his son, but
you're going to have to work fast to get it done before tomorrow evening".
"Benjamin knows where the stores are located that have the quality of
furnishing we want, he'll go with you, keep in mind when he's speaking to
you that other's can't hear or see him". "I gave Benjamin a sideways
glance letting him know there wasn't to be
any mischief, he looked at me with the look of pure innocence which made
me roll my eyes".

"Larry you know how important this is and I know you can get it done, take
my credit card and have the stores where you're shopping call me for the
okay to use it". "This is going to take a lot of work and you're going to
have to move fast to get this all accomplished, you let them know
everything that you can't carry with you is to be delivered tomorrow as
early as possible and if they can't do it we'll hire a truck and men do it
for them". Smiling at Larry I said, "don't let me down okay". Larry
pulled me into his arms hugging me tightly as he said, "I know you're doing
this partly just to keep me busy so I don't do something I'll regret later
you big softy and don`t think I don`t appreciate it". "It'll all be done
so don't worry about it". Benjamin stood there shaking his head at me with
that big beautiful, silly smile on his face. "You didn't fake him out for
a minute smarty pants". I turned
and stuck my tongue out at him, nothing childish about that now is there?

My job was to find a way to convince Glen that he was needed here without
letting him know that we're aware of what's he's been doing to keep a roof
over his son's head. Whether or not Glen decided to reveal what has
happened is up to him, for now it's important that he maintain his
self-respect in front of his son.

Glen showed up around one o'clock and while we were lunching I filled him
in on how Billy felt guilty for him not finishing college. Glen said,
"none of this is Billy's fault Thomas, I'd do anything to keep Billy safe".
"I know nothing is Billy's fault Glen, kids have a way of feeling
responsible for what happens to their parents. Hearing Glen say he'd do
anything to keep Billy safe brought tears to my eyes knowing just what he
had been doing to keep his son safe I found it hard to hide my feelings of
distress. Glen explained that when he was eighteen there was a girl from
his high school who said she wanted a baby and was willing to pay Glen if
he`d donate his sperm so she could self inseminate. "I was foolish and
desperate for money for college and did as she asked". After Billy was
born she just dropped him off at my doorstep saying she had a boyfriend and
he didn't want any other man`s kids around. "Thomas I love
Billy more than anything in the world and I`ll protect him with my dying
breath if need be.

This wonderful young man was tearing my heart out hearing his story. "Glen
I have nothing but respect for you and whatever you've done to take care of
your son". "You wouldn't if you knew what I've had to do Thomas".
Grasping Glen`s shoulders and looking directly into his eyes I said, "yes
Glen I would, a man who would do anything to keep his son safe is a saint
and it doesn't matter what he has done to make certain his child's needs
are met." "Nothing matters more than your child Glen nothing".

Changing the subject I told Glen I had a proposition to offer him. "Glen
do you have any knowledge of finances and keeping books?" "Just what I've
had to do for myself while I was in college, why?" "Benjamin and I are
busy with several projects, one of which is turning our home into a place
where we can raise horses and there's a ton of work coming up to create
trails through the woods and dozens of other things that'll keep us busy".
"We need someone who can keep track of the our finances and make sure bills
are paid on time, and also to keep food stocked in the house and possibly
even cook meals" I was hoping that maybe you might want the job". Glen
looked shocked at the offer, I was afraid he was going to say he didn't
think he could do it, when he said, "I think I could handle it if you're
willing to give me a chance".

I took a deep breath, thinking, whew! I'd made it half way through my plan.
Before he had a chance to think it over I said, "the jobs yours Glen, it
only pays eight hundred a week, but room and board is included, in fact
it's kind of a must, we want whoever we hire to be able to live here so
they are aware of our needs as new projects come up". Looking stunned Glen
said, "Eight hundred a week?" Smiling inside since I knew that the salary
was more than enough I said, "I know that isn't much and you do have Billy
to take care of, how about a thousand a week, do you think that's enough?"
Still looking stunned he said, "Room and board?" I was having a hard time
not laughing because I could see by Glen's face the things I was saying
weren't registering at the same pace I was speaking. "You mean Billy and I
could live in this mansion with you guys?" Fighting to keep a straight
face I said, "I'm afraid it's has to be
part of the deal Glen it's all or nothing". "You take care of our
finances, the house, cooking, and keeping the pantry stocked with food, a
thousand dollars a week with room and board, is that acceptable?"

Glen sat there silent for such a long time I was beginning to worry I had
over done it, then he started to laugh, "Billy's going to go ape when he
finds out he's going to be living here, he already thinks you guys are
better than homemade apple pie". "Then you accept the position". "Are you
kidding? I accept and I'll try never to let you down Thomas, I can hardly
believe this is happening". "It's happening Glen and it's happening fast
can you start today?" "Yeah I guess, there isn't much Billy and I have to
move, I'm kind of ashamed of what we do have to move Thomas". "Don't be
silly, you should have seen the condition Larry was in when he joined us,
next to him you look rich". "When he and Benjamin get home we'll have him
go over with a truck and help you move your stuff".

"Thomas that might not be a good idea the landlord where we live isn't a
very nice person and he might try and make trouble when he knows Billy and
I are moving". "Not to worry Glen, Benjamin and I will be going along, Ben
can keep your landlord busy while we move your things". Glen laughed,
"yeah I bet Benjamin can keep old Terry busy". "Glen will you do me a
favor?" "You don't even have to ask Thomas, what is it?" Call Billy's
school and tell them you'll pick him up after school, I don't want him
going near where you live if you think your landlord could cause trouble".
"Yes I can do that but Terry doesn't know we're moving so he shouldn't
bother Billy and Billy picks the newspapers up there for his route". "I'll
call and have the newspapers dropped off here I just want to play it safe".
"Does Billy deliver a paper to Terry?" "Not really Terry just takes one
and makes Billy pay for it".
"Looks like Terry is just going to have to start paying for his own paper
from now on".

Just then a delivery truck pulled up to the back of the house, "looks like
you might start earning your money immediately if you don't mind helping us
move some of this into the house". Larry came in all smiles shouting, `we
got everything Thomas, there's another truck on it's way so we need to
start unload.......before he finished his sentence he spotted Glen standing
in the kitchen with me. Breaking into the biggest fucking smile humanly
possible Larry said, "hi Glen, how are you feeling?" I gave Larry a
frantic look to remind him not to let on to Glen that we're aware of what
he's been going through. Larry immediately added, "I was afraid you might
have hurt yourself when you fainted yesterday". "No I'm fine Larry, you're
looking great by the way". "Thanks, you too Glen".

I looked at Larry and said, "Glen has accepted a job working for us he and
Billy will be moving in as soon as you can get a truck free to go over and
move their things here". I guess I had been wrong, that smile wasn't the
biggest fucking smile humanly possible, it has to be the one that replaced
it on Larry's face when he hear the news. The two men approached each
other and hugged kind of awkwardly at first, then stepping back and looking
into each other's eyes they connected with a passionate, warm, loving hug
that brought tears to my eyes as I turn away.

"Benjamin where are you?" "I'm right here". "Well show yourself, what's
wrong?" "Nothing I was just a bit misty eyed, give me a moment". "It's
okay honey, I understand how you're feeling".

The delivery guys were dumping things off the truck right and left so I
suggested Larry and Glen go out and take charge, "tell them to remove
furniture from boxes before moving it into the house, rugs go down first,
make them use a little common sense".

As furniture was unpacked Glen noticed that some of it was a boy's type of
furniture and asked Larry about it. Thinking fast, Larry said, "when
Benjamin and Thomas met you yesterday they were already hoping you'd accept
their job offer so they had me pick up furniture for two of the bedrooms
that weren't being used". "How'd they know I'd accept Larry, they were
taking a big chance going ahead and ordering furniture and everything".
"They didn't know you'd accept Glen, but they knew they had to hire someone
so they decided to go ahead and get the rooms fixed up with one of them set
up for Billy just in case you did accept".

"I've never met anyone like these guys Larry, I don't even know how to
describe them". "Tell me about it Glen, I refer to them as heaven sent and
let it go at that". I called from the house and asked Larry to drive Glen
over to the school and pick Billy up and bring him here". Glen looked at
Larry and said, "for some reason Thomas is concerned that my landlord might
try and harm Billy". Larry answered, "I trust their judgment in matters
like this so let's go get Billy, does he know you're moving here yet?" "No
I haven't had a chance to even see him yet, he's going to come unglued when
he realizes we're going to be living here with you guys".

"Mind if I ask you something personal Glen?" "Not at all, what is it?" "I
think you know I'm attracted to you and I'm wondering if this might cause a
problem with Billy, I want you to know if it would I'll back off, there's
nothing I'd ever do to upset your son". "Larry I'm attracted to you too as
I think you've already figured out, and Billy is aware of it, he's no dummy
Larry he picks up on things really fast". "He's already mentioned our
mutual attraction and hopes it works out for us". "He's known I'm gay
since he was old enough to understand the difference and he's fine with
it".

Larry drove Glen to the school and Glen went in to the office where Billy
was waiting for him, "why'd you pick me up dad you know I don't mind
walking home". Trying to hide his smile Glen said, "I just wanted to make
sure you went to the right home is all". Laughing Billy said, "Dad did
that bump on your head affect your senses?" "Just hop in the truck with
Larry buddy, we've got a surprise for you". As they drove in the drive
Fred was already racing along side the truck barking at Billy. "Why we'd
come here dad, I need to go get my papers and start my route".

Getting out of the truck Fred and Billy wrestled in the grass for a minute
before going inside. "What's all the commotion about, looks like someone
else is moving in". "Yup there is, we are Billy". "Dad you really have
lost your sense, we can't afford to live here". "We can now buddy, I've
accepted a job working for Thomas and Benjamin and part of the job means we
have to live here". Billy's eyes were almost as large as Larry's smile had
been, "I don't understand dad, what job?" "We can talk about it later, I
think you'd better start your route before someone complains about their
paper being late". "I wouldn't worry about that the papers are all
delivered thanks to Benjamin". "Benjamin delivered my papers?" "Yeah we
figured we could use your help here getting your room set up by bedtime, we
did have had a couple of calls from the New Republic saying customers were
complaining about a bike
without a rider was throwing newspapers on their porches". "I'll have to
have another talk with Benjamin about his sense of humor".

Laughing Billy said, "I might have a tough time explaining how I did that
to customers". Benjamin walked in saying, "just tell them to stop putting
whisky in their afternoon tea". Glen told Billy to come up stairs and see
his room, the next sound we heard besides Fred's happy bark was, WOW!
Billy came racing downstairs and threw himself into Thomas's arms, "I love
you guys so much, you're the absolute best". We love you too Billy and we
hope you and your dad will be happy here". "How could we not be happy
here, thanks so much to you both", he then ran and hugged Benjamin making
Ben all misty eyed again.

Deliveries made, rooms set up, new clothing hung in closets with the hope
that Larry and Benjamin had picked sizes correctly, if not Glen and Billy
could exchange things. Dinner was finished it was time to make the trip to
Glen's apartment to gather their things. Glen was nervous fearing what
Terry might tell us about him, but we prepared to for any eventuality and
Benjamin planned on keeping Terry out of our hair.

Driving in Larry, Glen, Billy and I started moving their belongings into
the truck, and as expected fat ass came screaming out the door yelling,
"what the fuck do you think you're doing", just then Benjamin stuck his
foot out and tripped him. Three hundred pounds of blubber hit the dirt
sending up a big cloud of dust. Larry finally got a chance to stick it to
the fat man as he said, "do you mind keeping the dust down blubber butt,
we're trying to move here". Billy bend over laughing and I notice Glen had
to turn his face away to keep himself from laughing. Sucking breath back
into his lungs Terry said, you ain't going anywhere you owe me money you
shit head queer boy. Feeling anger over taking me I leaned down so no one
could hear but Terry and said, "I know what you've been making Glen do for
you, you fucking asshole and payback going to be a real bitch". With a
yank Terry went flying back into that pig sty of a house he lived
in. Knowing Benjamin was standing somewhere close by I asked, "how'd you
manage to throw that ton of cow shit like that, he must weight three
hundred pounds".

Ben materialized saying, "I never touched him Thomas, I don't have a clue
what happened but I'm going inside to find out". Once inside Benjamin
found Reggie holding three hundred pounds of fat up against the ceiling
staring into his face, God knows what you've done and it's time you stopped
being a total butthead if you know what's good for you. "Take this message
to heart mister, we're watching you". With that Reggie dropped Terry on
his fat ass on the floor. Turning to Benjamin, he smiled and said, "nice
to see you again Benjamin". Laughing Benjamin answered, "you too Reggie".
"Do you think Terry got the message?" "He better have, he needs to change
his attitude and change it quick if he knows what's good for him".

Going outside Benjamin and Reggie found the rest of the guys finishing up
loading the truck with Glen and Billy's belongings. Surprised, Larry said,
"hi Reggie, it's nice to see you again". "You too Larry, my aren't you
looking like a masculine piece of art work, what'd you guys feed him?"
Thomas said, "just good food and hard work Reggie, and I'm not going to
even ask what you're doing here I have a feeling it's way out of my
league". "Oh Thomas you're in a special league of your own, goodness
becomes you my friend". With that said Reggie was gone.

We all piled into the truck, most of us in the back, Benjamin even jumped
in the back putting his arm around me. He leaned in for a kiss and just
stared at me with that big happy smile of his. "What?" "Nothing, just
looking at my man". Four very happy men and a boy headed home where we
found Fred looking out the front window watching for none other than his
new buddy Billy. That dog of mine has really attached himself to the kid.

Not forgetting that Larry's 19th birthday was coming up fast we made
arrangements to meet at a horse ranch outside of Pittsburg. All five of us
piled into my Bronco and made it to the Sanders place by eleven Friday
morning. There were seven different horses for sale, three of which were
Paints, one white mare, a black stallion, and two Appaloosas. Ben and I
had filled Glen in what we planned for a surprise for Larry so the three of
us stood back as we watched Larry and Billy leaning over the fence pointing
at different horses.

About thirty minutes had gone by and we walked over and asked Larry what he
thought of the horses. He pointed out the black stallion, "isn't he a
beauty, just look at him if I had a choice that's one I'd pick". Ben
asked, "what would you call him?" "Ebony". "Interesting, that surely
fits". Glen asked if he knew how to ride. "I've never ridden a horse in
my live Glen, you?" Yes when I was a kid living on my parents farm the
neighbors had a horse that their son and I used to ride". Billy spoke up
saying he thought the Appaloosas were beautiful, he pointed out one with
mostly white hind quarters with small spots clustering around the
mid-section, I had to admit it was a real beauty. I asked Billy what he'd
name it. "Gemini" it looks like parts of two different horse put together.
"I love how your mind works Billy". We picked out one of the Paints, and
the white Mare to go along with the two that Larry and
Billy had chosen without telling them. I had purchased a horse trailer in
advance that could carry four plus room for supplies and had them loaded up
with enough food and hay for the stables.

The stables still needed improvements but the white fencing was finished
that enclosed a six acre plot of land in the meadow for the horses to run
free during the day when work was being done on the stables. Ben and Glen
had taken Larry and Billy over to watch some peacocks so they were unaware
of everything having been taken care of, the horse trailer had been hitched
onto the Bronco and we were ready to had back to Berlin. I blew the horn a
couple of times and the guys came running and jumped into the back. "Which
horses did you get Thomas?" "We bought the white mare and one of the
Paints and a couple of the others". "You two realize that it's your jobs
to take care of them don't you?" "Larry said, I know that's part of my
duties Thomas". "You're going to need some help with four horses Larry, we
were kind of hoping Billy would be willing to give up his paper route to
help you out if we paid him a couple of hundred
 bucks a week".

Billy stood up and put his arms around my neck from the back, "you'd pay me
to help Larry take care of the horses?" Glen pulled Billy off my neck and
made him sit down, "of course we'd pay you, taking care of horses is a lot
of work and there's a lot you'll have to learn about them". "Yahoo! I
don't have to deliver those damn papers anymore". "Billy watch your
language". "Sorry dad". The rest of us laughed it was so unlike Billy to
swear.

Arriving home we backed the trailer up and had Larry open the gate. Glen
said, "Billy go help Larry you might as well get used to it now". The rest
of us jumped out of the Bronco and Glen and Ben stood back as Billy open
the trailer gate and I went in and released the horses and backed them out,
both Larry and Billy's mouth dropped open when they saw the two horses
they'd chosen if they could have their own. Billy yelled, "Larry there's
Ebony and Gemini". Larry came over and looked into Thomas's eyes, "you're
to much Thomas". Hugging Larry Thomas said, "Happy birthday Larry, take
could care of Ebony he`s all yours".

To be Continued.
