Subject: Mason and Jack Chapter 2

The following story is fiction based on some fact and my wishes for things
that "could/might have been" if the world worked like my hopeful mind. It
will eventually include sexual relations between young men. Some characters
and events are based on fact but the names, places and circumstances have
been changed for obvious reasons. If you're not old enough to be reading
this for WHATEVER reason, please leave now. If you are plenty old enough,
please continue on and let me know what you think of my first ever
submission to the Nifty Archives.

Mason and Jack
Chapter 2

It had been six months since that encounter with Jack where he had told me
to leave him alone and never speak to him again. I'd seen him almost every
day since then and it hurts me every time. One day after school I walk out
to my car and I could see that someone was sitting on the ground leaning up
against the driver's side door. I walk up thinking it was someone from
school needing a ride home. No, it was Jack. He had his knees pulled to his
chest and it sounded like he was crying.

"Jack?"

He looked up at me then, a little startled. The poor adorable boy's eyes
were swollen and red and there were still tears streaking his face.

"Hey Mason," was all he said and he got up from the ground and took me into
his arms and squeezed me so tightly I almost lost my breath.

"Jack, what's wrong? I thought you didn't want to ever talk to me again."

"I don't know how to explain it Mase. Can we go somewhere and talk?" he
asked as he pulled away and wiped fresh tears from his face.

"Sure, get in." I said as I unlocked the doors and threw my bag in the back
seat.

I drove to one of my favorite thinking spots, parked the car and got out. I
walked to the edge of the view point which over looked the man made
lake. This lake had been formed many years ago with the building of a dam
at one end. There are three rivers that feed into it and it's in a
canyon. It's a tourist attraction and is flooded with people all summer
long.

I sat on the rock wall surrounding the edge of the view point and
waited. Jack hadn't gotten out of the car yet. I heard the car door open
and close. I didn't turn around to look at what he was doing. I was
scared. I didn't know what was going to happen. I could feel him looking at
my back and heard the crunch of gravel as he walked towards me. The next
then I felt was him climbing over the short rock wall and sitting down next
to me on my right, in complete contact with me. As I sat there waiting for
him to begin speaking, I felt safe again. His touch seemed to do that to me
now, even though I hadn't ever really felt it like this before.

Several minutes passed and then I heard another sniffle come from him. I
finally looked over at him and he had his head down and I could see the
almost silent tears falling from his eyes into his open hands on his lap. I
put my arm around his lower back and placed my hand on his waist and pulled
him a little closer.

"Jack, what's wrong?"

"I.I.don't know what's wrong, Mason," he said with the words getting caught
in his throat due to the threat of sobbing. He took a deep breath then
lifted his head and looked at me. "Kiss me Mason."

"What?"

"Please kiss me, Mason. I need to know that what I'm feeling is
alright. Ever since that day you told me about how you felt I've been
thinking about how I really felt about you, and I think if you kissed me,
it would help me figure it out." He says with a sniffle and his arm coming
up to wipe away tears from his adorably smooth cheeks.

"Are you sure Jack? I've never done anything like this before. I might not
be any good at it."

"You'll be better than me. I tried kissing Megan the other day and she
slapped me," he says with a smile and a giggle.

"Well then," I say with a little bit of mock hurt in my voice. "If you've
been kissing girls all this time, I don't think I want to kiss you." And I
looked away.

"Please, baby."

"What did you just call me?" I asked as I whipped my head around and looked
into his eyes.

He instantly turned bright red and looked away. "I don't know why I said
that. I'm sorry."

He tried to get up and leave but I still had my hand around his waist. I
held him there. With my other hand I put it up to his face and turned him
back towards me and gently placed my lips over his. I'm pretty sure we both
felt the electricity that ran from one of us to the other and pulled back
instantaneously. My fingers instantly going to his lips and gently feeling
their softness.

"Wow." I whispered, and pulled my hand back from his mouth revealing a
smile that would make even the happiest person on the planet envious.

His hand came up to cup my cheek and he gently coaxed me forward again and
our lips met again, gently at first but then it started to get really
passionate. We needed each other and it was plain as day in this one
kiss. As I gently opened my mouth I could taste his breathe on my tongue
and I was hooked. I could breath his air for the rest of my life and never
be without breathe again. That's when I felt his tongue trace the inside of
my upper lip and then it came into contact with mine as I gently moved it
towards him. Our tongues danced for what felt like hours, but was only a
couple of minutes in all reality. We both sensed the need for air at the
same time and gently pulled apart.

"Wow," was his response this time.

"Better than kissing Megan?" I asked as I took several deep breaths to
refill my empty lungs.

"Way better," he said as his hand moved into my lap and found my free hand
there. He interlocked our fingers and held our hands there.

"I don't know what I'm doing, Jack."

"Neither do I, babe."

I blushed. "I like how you say that to me."

"I like saying it to you. Sounds and feels natural."

We sat there for a while longer, watching the boats and people below. He
laid his head down on my shoulder at one point and after a few more minutes
I felt his entire body relax and heard a change in his breathing. He had
fallen asleep. I tightened my grip around his waist and he squeezed the
hand he was holding. As I put my mouth into his dark auburn hair to kiss
his head I could smell the scent of the school issued shampoo. He had
showered after gym class today. How sweet of him. I smiled to myself and
gently kissed his head and then rested my cheek where I had kissed him and
looked back out to the water below.

About an hour passed and Jack started to stir. "Why didn't you wake me?"

"You're emotionally exhausted, Jack. I couldn't help but let you sleep and
hold you."

"You're right. I had cried a lot and have been doing a lot of thinking, but
I think the thinking part is over now." He stated as he lifted our still
interlocked fingers and kissed the back of my hand and squeezed them
tightly.

We both started to move at the same time, getting up from the sitting
position on the rock wall we had been on for over two hours.

"Oh wow, I hurt all over." I said as I stood and stretched my hands to the
sky. The next thing I knew, Jack had wrapped his arms around my waist with
his face buried in my neck. I returned the hug and felt him gently kiss my
neck. We pulled back and looked each other in the eye. "I love you, Jack."

"I love you too, Mason. I didn't know it until I woke up from my little
nap. But I do. With all my heart." He says as he moves in for another
kiss. This time it's filled with the unconditional love we both felt for
the other. As we pull apart I move my hands from his waist and interlock
the fingers of both of my hands into his. We smile to each other and I
release one hand and start to climb over the wall with him right behind
me. We walk towards the front of the car and as we get closer we release
our hands and get into our respective seats. We belt up and I start the car
and pull out of the parking lot and back onto the road.

I was so excited about the events that took place that afternoon, I wanted
to celebrate. So I took Jack back to my house, and had him call his mom to
ask if he could spend the night. It was a Friday after all and he didn't
have anything to do today or the next morning. She said yes of course. We
neglected to tell her that my mom wasn't home for the night or that Sandy
was staying over with another friend.

As he hung up the phone and turned around to look at me sitting in a chair
behind him a smile crept across his face, "So, now what?"

"I'm not sure yet. I could fix dinner and we can watch a movie."

"Sounds perfect." He said as he came up to me, took my face in his hands
and kissed me deeply. "I'll never get tired of that."

"Me either." I then pulled him into my lap and hugged him tight around the
waist.

After a few minutes I made him get up so I could fix dinner. Mom had put a
roast in the crock pot before she had left that morning so I got it out to
rest and got some rice and biscuits going in the oven. I told Jack to pick
a movie and put it in but not to start it yet. As the buzzer went on the
oven I got the food finished, dished up two plates and took them to the
living room and set them on the coffee table. I was turned around to go
back to the kitchen to get some drinks and silverware but as I started to
walk, Jack grabbed my hand.

"Can I help?" he asked.

"Of course, grab some silverware and napkins. What do you want to drink?"

"Coke, please."

"Jack, you know we're a Pepsi family." I retorted.

"I know, I just like Coke better."

"We hate Coke, so if you're going to be my boyfriend, you're going to have
to learn to like Pepsi." I said with a smile.

He stopped dead in his tracks and I got pulled back a little because he was
still holding my hand and his grip had gotten ten times stronger, "What?"
he asked with a very lopsided smirk on his face.

"I said you're going to have to learn to like Pepsi."

"NO! Before that part."

I was confused. "Jack, I don't know what you're talking about."

"You said, `if you're going to be my boyfriend'."

"I did?"

"Yes. Do you want me to be your boyfriend, Mason?"

"I figured it was apparent with the kissing, the hand holding, and the
cuddling. The fact that we said we loved each other." I said, as I blushed
a little.

"But you haven't asked me yet." He said as he pulled me back towards him
and wrapped his arms around my waist with me facing him.

"Will you be my boyfriend, Jack?"

He turned his head to the side a little and seemed to think about it. I
started to get worried and started to pull away. He tightened his grip and
looked back at me with a huge smile on his face. "Of course I will be your
boyfriend, Mason."

That little trick earned him a kiss to the nose and I turned back towards
the kitchen to finish getting everything we needed to eat.

We started the movie, ate and then cleared up. After the dishwasher was
loaded we went back to the living room and started another movie. I lay
down on the couch and Jack kind of stood in the middle of the room looking
between the couch and the recliner. "Come here, silly boy." I said as I
rolled onto my side and slid to the very back of the couch. He laid down
with his back to me and I kissed the back of his neck as I wrapped my arms
around his chest to watch the movie.

I woke the next morning a little disoriented and very, very warm. I
realized I was still on the couch before the fact that I still had Jack in
my arms occurred to me. As I listened to his breathing and smiled to myself
I felt the all too familiar pressure on my bladder. I kissed the back of
Jack's head and said, "Jack, baby, I need to get up and use the bathroom."

"Mmmphrumph.sleep.mmmm.warm." Was all I heard. I laughed and started to
push him.

"Get up Jack. I really have to use the bathroom." He only stirred a
little. I pushed harder and he ended up rolling off the couch and onto the
floor.

"Wha??"

I got up and bolted to the bathroom giggling loudly.

"Hey!" he said as what had happened came to him.

"I'm sorry babe. I told you I had to go to the bathroom and you wouldn't
get up." I said as I flushed the toilet and washed my hands.

"That still wasn't funny." He said while rubbing the sleep from his eyes
and stretching toward the ceiling, causing his shirt to ride up a little
and show a little skin. "What?"

He'd caught me starring. I blushed, "Sorry. I just saw a little of your
belly and couldn't help myself."

He blushed too. "Oh, ok then." Then he took his shirt completely off and
bolted towards the bathroom. "Grab me some of Sandy's clothes please." Was
all he said as he closed the bathroom door and I heard the water start. I
was still standing just inside the living room with my mouth hanging
open. "MASON! Clothes please!"

"Oh, yeah, right. Just a second baby." I went to my brother's room grabbed
a change of clothes and took them to the bathroom door. "Do you want me to
leave them here outside the door?"

"No, bring them in and set them on the counter please. I need you to hand
me a towel when I'm done anyway."

I complied but we didn't talk anymore while he showered. I handed him the
towel then excused myself.

I waited on the couch for him to finish so I could have my turn. I wasn't
ready for anything more than just the kissing and cuddling. I didn't know
how two guys even had sex together. I was only 16 going on 17 in a few
months.

After we both had showers we sat together on the couch and watched some
wonderful Saturday morning TV. The phone rang, I answered. It was Jack's
Dad. I gave him the phone and went to start some breakfast.

A few minutes later Jack came into the kitchen. "Can you take me to my
Dad's house today? Mom called him last night and asked him to take me for
the rest of the weekend. Something about not having anything for me to do
at the farm."

"Sure thing. What would you like for breakfast? We've got stuff for
pancakes, waffles, cereal or oatmeal."

"Cereal's fine. You cooked last night, you don't need to again today."

"Are you sure? I don't mind cooking for you." I said as he came up to me
and gave me a peck on the lips.

"I'm sure. Cereal's totally ok. I'll get it myself as a matter of fact."
And he went to the cereal cupboard and got his choice, a bowl and the
milk. After making his, I went and did mine. We sat at the breakfast bar in
the kitchen and ate in silence.

"I'm going to tell Dad today when you drop me off."

"Tell him what?" I asked, confusion written all over my face.
