Subject: my life with pete 6

Pete and I did not want to cook since we just got back from Florida. We
called in an order for us. The boys helped Steve unpack and get whatever
was dirty into the laundry. Tom and mike liked having Steve around, Steve
follow them everywhere they went. Tom and mike wanted to take a swim since
they left for college they have not been swimming and they both loved
it. Steve decided to hang with his dads. Pete asked Steve how does it feel
to have your brother home with mike. Steve just beamed and told Pete he's
the best and I like mike a lot. I like the way they are to each other. Pete
told Steve that hopefully one day he too would find a special person to be
with. Steve liked that idea.

The food arrived so we all sat out on the patio enjoy our larger
family. Pete and I started out as a couple, who knew we would be a family
of five. We enjoyed being all together and I hated the idea that tom and
mike would be back at school all too soon. As the evening wound down I told
the boys that I wanted to have them be quiet. I wanted them to hear what I
had to say to daddy Pete. They all sat looking to me waiting to hear what I
was about to say. Pete did not know what I was up to. I had Pete stand
facing me in front of the boys. Pete, you have been a loving partner,
lover, friend, and dad to our boys, you even have my name, there is not a
thing in this world I would not do for you. So Pete, I want to ask you to
marry me. Pete smiled at me and said it would be his pleasure. The boys
started yelling and hugging us. After it got down to a low roar I told Pete
that I wanted to take him to Vermont and have a ceremony. With the boys
with us. And I also wanted our close friends to also be our guests at the
ceremony. He loved the idea. He told me he was going to call matt and Eric
and tell them. I did not tell him that matt knew already, but not
Eric. Matt and I discussed me asking Pete to marry me, and he thought it
was a wonderful thing, so wonderful he asked if I didn't mind letting him
and Eric have a double ceremony. Matt told me that he and Eric spoke of it
a few times and they agreed that one day they would do it. After some time
Pete came out all excited that our friends were going to get married and
they were going to do it with us. We started looking into all of the things
that needed to be done, well matt's mom did. She would have it all set in
no time. She made all of the plans for us. She would also be there with us.
Matt's mom made sure with tom that he and mike when he was able to leave
school in order to attend.

It was all set. We were on our way. Tom and Steve were our best men. Pete
and I were best men for matt and Eric. We spent a few days and returned
home. Matt's mom took care of Steve and Taylor so we were able to take a
honeymoon, we went to Disney and matt and Eric went to the islands.

Life was good to us; we beat a lot of odds. I thank whoever needs to be
thanked, for Pete being part of my life and our boys, and good friends.
