Chapter One

Jonathan and Nick walked through the charred remains of what had been the
Grand Ballroom of the hotel. The Boston fire department had finally gotten
the fire out a few hours earlier. Now, in between the fire and arson
investigators, the Security firm's own investigators were doing their own
testing; looking for answers.

"Well" said Jonathan, trying to make light of the situation, "Guess we are
remodeling early"

"Not funny" said Nick, a scowl on his face. "I just had this redone last
year"

"Don't worry babe" said Jonathan coming over to Nick and rubbing his
shoulders. "The insurance will cover it and what it doesn't we can afford
and then some."

"Yeah, I know" said Nick, kicking a piece of charred wood out of the
way. "I just am so pissed off about this. I can't believe someone would
actually do this. I mean people could have been killed."

"I know" said Jonathan. There wasn't much else to say about that.

While Nick and Jonathan had been touring the burned out areas of the hotel,
Danny had taken a small crew to inspect the private quarters on top of the
hotel. Coming back he found Jonathan. As he walked across the charred
ballroom, he noted the ten agents he had left to guard Nick and Jonathan.
It was obvious that none of them were in any kind of a good mood. Each had
firearms out and displayed as a warning to keep away from the people that
they were assigned to protect.

"OK" said Danny. "I've got some good news and some bad news."

"What" said Jonathan, turning to face him.

"The Penthouse, other suites, and staff quarters are all fine and no
damage" said Danny "The bad news is that you can smell the smoke from the
fire up there really badly. It's going to take a couple of weeks to get the
stink out; which means the guest floors are all smoked out too I would
imagine."

"Great" said Jonathan. "Just great"

"Are we staying in town tonight?" asked Danny.

"Yeah I wanna hang a couple of days until we find out some more about this
shit" said Jonathan.

"OK" said Danny, "I presume you'll stay on board Renaissance"

"Yeah" said Jonathan. "I'm sure that will make you happy"

"I'd be happier if you were back in Key West" said Danny, "But I don't get
paid to be happy, so Renaissance will do nicely"

"Smartass" said Jonathan.

"Yeah, and a well paid one too" said Danny. "I gotta make some calls"

"Let's go babe" said Jonathan turning to Nick. "There isn't a lot we can do
here. Let's get some dinner in town and head back to the jet."

"So, like what are we gonna do?" asked Nick as they walked out of the area
with the surrounding guards.

"Lobster first" said Jonathan with a smile, "Rule One: When in town, always
go to Legal. Then I'm sure you and I can think of something to do on board
to make the time pass"

Nick smiled for the first time since getting to Boston. Exiting the area
they ran into the General Manager and paused to chat briefly.

"I know it looks bad Paul" said Jonathan, "It will be put back the way it
was. That's a promise"

"That's great to hear Jonathan" said the GM. "I understand you'll be around
for a few days"

"At least until we have a better understanding of what happened here" said
Jonathan.

The three talked for a few moments more before Nick and Jonathan headed
out. Despite Jonathan's preferences for walking over to the Prudential
center, Danny won out and taking the Hummer, they drove over. Thanks to the
general traffic it took longer to drive then walk. Jonathan gave Danny a
"I told you so" look, which was ignored. Entering the mall area Nick and
Jonathan were surrounded by six guards. This proved to be a major hassle
in getting a table. Finally Danny decided that Nick and Jonathan could sit
at a four top table and he and one other would sit with them. The other
four guards milled about the outside of the restaurant.

"You know Danny" said Jonathan in between bites of lobster. "Your friends
out there are liable to scare the crap out of anyone wanting to come into
the restaurant"

"They are harmless" said Danny. "The only people I want them to scare off
are the people who might think about having you for dinner."

Dinner was finished without incident. After a brief stop at the A&F store
for Nick, they drove back to the General Aviation area of Logan
International. Coming to a stop near Renaissance, Danny let Nick and
Jonathan out. Jonathan frowned at the ten obviously armed men around the
jet.

"Aren't you being just a little overcautious?" he asked Danny.

"No" said Danny.

Nick and Jonathan walked up the jet stairs and entered the jet. Stewards
were there to take their jackets. Going upstairs, Anthony and Karen met
them at the entrance to the upper lounge. She handed each one of them a
glass of wine.

"How bad is the hotel?" Anthony asked.

"Bad enough" said Nick, drinking most of the glass in one shot.

"Repairable" said Jonathan, sipping his wine and giving Nick a
semi-disapproving scowl. "The ballroom area and about five floors are well
and truly trashed. Everything else is smoked."

"Sounds like it will be closed for a while." said Karen.

"Yeah, I figure about three months closed" said Jonathan. "Probably a few
more months beyond that for repairs, but at least we can get some of the
floors reopened."

"The stewards are all on duty" said Anthony. "Unless you need us for
something, we're going into town"

"Have a great time guys." said Jonathan. "Don't rush back. We'll be here
for a couple of days"

"Hmm" said Karen. "In that case, don't wait up. I think we'll get a hotel
room."

"I must be rubbing off on you" said Jonathan with a smile.

Karen just arched her eyebrows and winked.

Looking over at the dining room area he saw Nick standing by the table;
pouring a second glass of wine. He walked over and ran his hands over
Nick's stomach and under his shirt.

"How are you doing kiddo?" asked Jonathan kissing the back of his neck.

"Mmm" said Nick leaning back into Jonathan. "Better and better you keep
that up"

"Have we ever fucked on this table?" he asked Nick as his hands trailed
lower, unbuttoning and unzipping Nick's jeans. His hand snaked inside of
the boxers to finger Nick's swelling cockhead.

"No" said Nick, "We haven't"

"Let's" said Jonathan, pushing him down on the table.

Chapter Two

Jonathan was working in the office on board Renaissance late into the
evening. After a couple of hours of very passionate and intense sex, Nick
was crashed out in the forward cabin. Jonathan was doing some research into
various things when he heard Sebastian start to hiss and growl. Jonathan
didn't even think about it when they had left Key West earlier in the day,
but Anthony and Karen had scooped up the monster cat and brought him aboard
with them. When asked about it, Karen replied that he always seemed to
keep Jonathan calmed down. The cat had been curled up on the corner of his
desk, after pushing some files on the floor with a flick of his tail just
to be a cat, but he was now standing up, all the fur on his massive body
fluffed out, making him look at least twice the size that he was. Since
they were not in a take off, which the cat absolutely hated, that meant
only one other thing.

"Come on in Kristian" said Joanthan, looking at the door.

"I see your telepathic powers are getting better" said Kristian with a
smile as he entered the office.

"Actually I didn't notice you arrive, but the furball did" said Jonathan,
pointing at Sebastian.

As Kristian turned to look at the cat, Sebastian growled once, and shot out
of the door to the office.

"He really doesn't like me" said Kristian taking a seat on the couch.

"Yeah I noticed" said Jonathan, coming around the desk. "At least Nick as
gotten used to you"

"That's a good thing all in all" said Kristian.

"You want something to drink?" asked Jonathan.

"Sure, whatever you have" said Kristian.

Jonathan opened the small bar in his office and pulled a bottle of Louis
Roederer Cristal champagne out and two chilled glasses.

"So" he said, opening the bottle and pouring two glasses, "What brings you
to my humble home?"

"I'm not sure you can call a 300 million dollar jet humble, but you asked
me to check about Nick and the possibilities of immortality for him" said
Kristian, sipping the glass "You aren't gonna like it too much"

"Tell me" said Jonathan, sitting down on the couch.

"Well it doesn't seem to be the most pleasant thing to have done to a
person" started Kristian. "I found out that there is a site in the
mountains of Greece that was used to perform some of the
'transformations'".

"What does it involve" asked Jonathan. He wanted as much information
before he even began to think about the possibility of bringing Nick over.

"As I said it is not pleasant for anyone, the mortal or the immortals
involved" said Kristian. He paused to refill both of their glasses. "The
basics are that the mortal is placed on a stone alter naked and bled. As
the blood starts to leave his body, it is replaced by immortal blood. Now,
there are a few catches to it. One is that the mortal must be awake during
the process, so he can't lose too much blood too fast. This means a long
drawn out process"

"How long are we talking about" asked Jonathan.

"There isn't a lot of information on it" said Kristian, "The general
consensus of the immortals that I talked to is 36 hours"

"That's a long time" said Jonathan. "I would think that it shouldn't be too
difficult today with all the medications that are on the market"

"Think Jonathan" said Kristian. "Immortal blood dissipates anything foreign
in it. Drugs, alcohol, you name it, dissolves at a significantly higher
rate then normal blood. I'm sure we could figure out some sort of dosages,
but they would probably be in toxic range; plus with the constant infusion
of new blood, it wouldn't be feasible."

"That's true I didn't think about that" said Jonathan, frowning "Go on,
what else"

"You don't know the half of it" said Kristian. "The process is incredibly
painful according to research. The amount of blood needed will require
tapping over 100 immortals. That's not a problem. We can arrange that. The
normal blood must be completely removed or washed from the body without
killing him. At the same time, most likely his body will start to reject
the blood, as it isn't the same blood type. This will cause him severe pain
from tissue degeneration and organ failure"

"Does it kill him so he can come back?" asked Jonathan, shuddering at the
thought of what Nick would endure if he was to suggest this.

"No" said Kristian. "The death must be a sudden death, like all of ours.
His body must be kept alive throughout the entire 36 hours. I'm not even
sure it is possible, depending on how hard his body rejects the blood."

"What happens then" asked Jonathan.

"After the violent sudden death he will either live or die" said
Kristian. "I can't say which. Those that have survived to that point have
been about 50/50 to cross over"

Kristian turned to Jonathan as he stood. "I know you have your hands full
at the moment with the hotel. This isn't something to be entered into
lightly. For either of you. I know how you feel about him and he about
you. This only has a 50 percent chance of working as it is, and it will be
a most painful horrible experience for him either way. Plus you have the
point of causing his violent death if he even makes it the full 36
hours. You need to contemplate that as well."

"Yeah" said a somber Jonathan. "I appreciate the work you did looking into
it"

"Of course" said Kristian.

As Kristian disappeared, two ears followed by a furry face came back around
the corner.

"OK you coward" said Jonathan, "You can come back in now"

Sebastian walked into the office with a catlike scowl on his face and tail
held high, jumped up on the desk, and just to point out his displeasure at
the comment and Kristian having been there, promptly sent the remaining
paperwork to the floor.

"Pissy ass cat today aren't we" said Jonathan coming over to stroke the
cat's fur.

Jonathan played with Sebastian for a few more minutes before walking
towards the front cabin. He walked through the lounge and silently entered
the bedroom. Nick had kicked off the covers in his sleep and was lying
naked on his back on the bed. Jonathan walked over to him and looked down
at him. Many thoughts went through Jonathan's mind. He quietly pulled a
chair up next to the bed and sat just looking at Nick. For a long while,
Jonathan just sat there, remembering, thinking. Finally he got up and
undressed. He slipped into the other side of the bed. Pulling Nick closer
to him, he began to kiss him softly on his neck. Nick moaned in his sleep
moving closer to Jonathan. He awoke to find Jonathan kissing and licking
his nipples. His back arched as the pleasure soared through his body.
Moving back up his body, Jonathan kissed Nick, his tongue entering Nick's
mouth. Without breaking the kiss, Jonathan pulled Nick over on top of him.

Finally breaking the kiss, Nick looked at Jonathan. "What was that for?" he
asked playing with one of Jonathan's nipples.

"Because I love you" said Jonathan, his hands trailing down Nick's back to
his ass. Using one finger he swirled some of the thicker hairs surrounding
his asshole with it. "I want you to make love to me."

"I can handle that I think" said Nick.

This time he took the lead kissing Jonathan. His tongue broke the kiss,
trailing it down over Jonathan's jaw and neck. Jonathan moaned his
approval. Nick's hands trailed down the heavily corded muscles of his body
to tease the leaking cock head. His mouth followed the trail of his hand,
taking time to lick the ridges of muscles in Jonathan's abs. Without
warning, Nick swallowed all of Jonathan's cock. Swallowing his throat moved
up and down the shaft as his hands played with both his nuts and
asshole. After several minutes of deep throating Jonathan he could feel the
cock swell. Shot after shot of hot thick cum entered Nick's mouth. Holding
the load in his mouth he pulled back, and as Jonathan watched, he allowed
the cum to drip out of his mouth onto his hard 8.5 inch cock. Smearing the
thick slippery liquid over his penis he leaned forward and pushed into
Jonathan's ass. The whole cock slid into him. Both men moaned at the
pleasure. Settling into a gentle rhythm Nick began a slow rocking in and
out of Jonathan's ass. Bending lower he took one of Jonathan's nipples
into his mouth sucking and biting on it.

"Oh God, Nick" said Jonathan, his own hips thrusting to meet Nick "Don't
fucking stop"

"I'm getting close man" said Nick through gasping breaths "You so tight and
hot"

"Do it man" moaned Jonathan "I want to feel your thick fucking load in me"

" Here it comes" said Nick,

Convulsing in the throws of orgasm. His hips locked and his cock buried
itself deep into Jonathan. Volley after volley of cum shot deep into
Jonathan. The last thrust triggered Jonathan's own second orgasm. Nick
collapsed onto Jonathan trapping the shooting load between them.

For minutes neither moved. Finally Nick rolled off of Jonathan; his soft
cock releasing from the confines of Jonathan's tight ass.

"That was even better then earlier" said Nick

"I know babe" said Jonathan. He rose from the bed. "I need a shower; wanna
help?"

"Sure" said Nick. Holding hands they walked into the bathroom.

Chapter Three

The two slept through the night. Waking up the next morning, Jonathan found
Nick already riding his morning hard on. Rolling over and coming on top,
Jonathan started to piston in and out of Nick. Nick thrashed his head back
and forth as his orgasm claimed him.

"YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" he cried out.

As he ass clenched and released, it triggered Jonathan's own
orgasm. Volleys of cum shot deep within Nick. Jonathan collapsed onto the
top of Nick.

"Hell of a way to start the day" said Jonathan between deep breaths

"Yeah, not too bad" said Nick, equally out of breath.

Getting up the two showered and changed. They found breakfast waiting for
them in the living quarters. As Nick worked his way through a bacon
sandwich he noticed that Jonathan seemed unusually quiet.

"Something on your mind?" asked Nick

"Yeah, there is actually, but I'm not quite sure how to bring it up?" he
said.

"What" asked Nick. "You kicking me out?"

That brought a laugh to Jonathan's face. "No, quite the opposite"

"So, tell me" said Nick. He came around the table and looked at
Jonathan. "You can tell me"

"Remember in Zermatt?" started Jonathan. "When we made a commitment to each
other and said always and forever?"

"Of course I do" said Nick. He reached down and kissed Jonathan. "I meant
that every bit then as I do now. Of course you have the forever part down
pat. I still gotta work on that one"

"Oddly enough that is what I want to talk to you about" said Jonathan. "I
asked Kristian if there was any way to make you immortal"

Nick sat back down hard at that one. He had a shell shocked look on his
face. "You mean, like you?"

"That is the general idea yes" said Jonathan. "There are a few catches to
it however"

"Like what?" he asked.

Jonathan proceeded to tell Nick everything that Kristian had told him, the
time, the blood, the pain. Nick was a few shades lighter under this
Florida tan then before.

"Will it work?" Nick asked.

"At best there is a 50-50 chance" said Jonathan. He rose and started to
walk around the room. "The problem is that if it doesn't work, it will kill
you. Hell it may before it even gets to that point."

Nick silently got up from his chair and walked over to Jonathan. Wrapping
his arms around Jonathan's body, he pressed himself against him. Nick could
feel the warmth of Jonathan's body. He placed his head on Jonathan's
shoulder.

"What do you think?" he asked softly.

"I don't know babe" said Jonathan. "Part of me is incredibly selfish and
wants you with me. Common sense says that I don't know if it can be
done. It could kill you before the process could even begin or not work
then I would lose you. Doesn't sound like you're coming back from the dead
this time if it doesn't work"

"Yeah, but I'll die anyway sooner or later and you will be alone" said
Nick.

"True, however I don't see that happening for forty or fifty years" said
Jonathan.

"Ya mean you will still suck my cock when I have grey pubes?" asked Nick
with a trace of humor in his voice

"Probably if you can get it up" said Jonathan. "Seriously though. From what
Kristian said, it will be a horrific process for you."

"It would be worth it to spend time immortal with you" said Nick.

Jonathan turned to Nick. "I love you more then anyone I ever have in my
life" he began. "I can't ask you to do this. I don't have the right or
privilege to ask you to do this. It has to be totally your choice"

Nick turned away and looked out a porthole. "fifty-fifty" he said quietly.

"At best" said Jonathan.

"Give me some time" said Nick. "Can you handle the hotel stuff by yourself
today?"

"Of course" said Jonathan. "We don't have to decide this today"

"Yeah, I know" said Nick turning. "I want to decide soon though. If I think
too much about it I'll never do it. I never did like pain"

"I'm grateful for anytime I have with you Nick." Said Jonathan. "You don't
have to do this"

"I know babe" said Nick. "I know. Listen. Let me think about this. Can I
borrow the jet?"

"Of course" said Jonathan. "Where you going to go"

"Denver" said Nick. "I need to think and there is a place there I used to
go on campus when I needed to think."

Jonathan walked over to him and quietly held him. "Take the time you need"

For moments the two just held onto each other. Finally breaking the hug,
Jonathan said "I'll let Danny know you need some company and get the flight
crew together. Mark is around her someplace too I believe."

"I don't need Mark" said Nick, "Or security"

"Danny will never let you take off without someone" said Jonathan.

"Yeah I know" said Nick. "Thought I would try"

Jonathan hugged him one more time and left to go make the arrangements. An
hour later, Jonathan watched as Renaissance soared into the skies.
