Subject: Logging Camp pt 14

John and I loaded the dishwasher and then took a shower and got to bed. It
didn't seem long and the dammed alarm was going off.

We both hit the toilet for a good pee and then shower and dress in our
normal gear and head for the Cookhouse for breakfast we enter there is a
lot of friendly banter going on; hi John where is the DR should be hear
shortly was my answer. I spot Greg sitting at the back on his own so we
join him. Good morning Greg how are things well I hate to admit it I think
I have a bit of a hang over, well just hang on a moment I will get some
cure for you. I go to Kia and ask you got the Aspirin bottle there sure
thing I'll return it shortly, I laugh and say our lawyer is hung over --
that made Kia smile.

Here Greg take a couple of these that should help -- oh thanks. Then he
says you know yesterday was quiet an experience as it was the first time no
was bitching etc it makes everything so much easier; I just wonder what
sort of age those brothers are. Well my guess in the late 60s. We don't
know but they appear to be twins in the way they look and especially the
facial features.

Each of them looks after one camp and at weekend they go over on Friday
evening and spend the weekend together; basically they seem to share
everything.

Next to arrive is Lyle & Keith good morning how are things really good
thanks and you know it is a big relief to know our old operation will
continue. We both realize that the name "Crew Logging" will retire with us
departing, which is the only thing that makes us sad; but it is good to
know our logging family will still all be together

John says it is a pity Brent is not here, but I will tell you it our plan
to call the respective camps by a new name and simply "Lyle's Camp" and
"Keith's Camp" we hope you don't object. They were both very quiet and we
could see tears coming to there eyes. They stand up and hug each other John
& Joe please join us and I we both get very tight hugs and they say we
never ever thought something like this would happen, thank you so
much. Well I guess we should be on our way. Joe says Lyle I will escort up
to the turn off, does your ATV need any fuel, and no thanks it is good for
about 50 miles.

While you're getting your gear together I will get my riding gear on and
meet you at the guest house. Well Keith got his stuff into his truck and
they both hug each other, and he called out Joe come here please and
received the same thing with a little discrete kiss.

Lyle we will talk this evening sure thing brother, Lyle said he was ready
DR1 to dispatch any traffic on the main line nothing at the moment. OK once
I get to the start I will check again as I have Lyle John's on his ATV and
there is no safe passing room and we shall be going up to the emergency
road -- thanks Joe

DR1 to dispatch I'm about to enter the mainline is it clear -- out Dispatch
to DR1 it is clear and I will hold any downward trucks until you are clear
-- out.

About 10 minutes later DR1 to dispatch we are all clear thanks -- out
Dispatch to DR1 message understood -- out

We enter the emergency road and I stopped, do you have time to come back to
camp, I said I have a meeting at 10:00am so long as I leave by 9:15 am it
will be fine, This time I follow Lyle right up to his office come on in and
I will get that list you asked for and show you the community hall. I check
over the DVD player and see they have a really large screen. I'm thinking I
have a lot of work to do getting a suitable video put together.

We return to the office and his lady time keeper has got the list together
and she hands it to Joe. Oh by the way Audrey Joe will be hear next week
from Tuesday and most likely stay three nights and he wants to be in the
section where the young guys live; we are borrowing Joe him from "Woodsman
Logging" and is going to meet with all the young guys and there dads with
the idea of improving there school marks. I have asked him to see if he can
do anything as he has had success with all their camps. Would you please
let Cook know about the extra room etc.

Suddenly my radio goes on Channel 5 -- DR1 where are you --out DR1 to Brent
I'm with Lyle and departing back to river camp in a few minutes -- out.

Brent to DR1 - see you in the office when you get back drive safely - out

That's interesting our radio signal reaches this far that is good, well
Lyle I must get going -- he says thanks mate you're a real good shit.

I head back on the emergency road, once I reach the main line I call in DR1
to dispatch -- hi Joe any traffic on the main line. I'm on my own so just
let any one coming towards me not to worry I will call in every mile --
sure thing Joe -- dispatch out.

DR1 to dispatch now clear and passing though camp 2 heading for camp 1.

Dispatch to DR1 there should be no traffic on the road -- out DR1 heading
though camp 1 for River camp --out

Dispatch to DR1 safe trip -- thanks switching to channel 1 -- out

DR1 to River Camp Dispatch go a head Joe I'm entering the link road from
Hillside any traffic not today it should be all clear right through to
camp, what time do you make it please 9:45 am thank -- out

Well I hit the office at 10:0am and went to my office and started taking my
riding gear off John come in don't worry about stripping off. I go over to
John's office Brent's first words were I want to do some more riding before
I return to-morrow but first I want to here your ideas for an expanded or
replacement guest house.

So after telling Brent our thoughts, he said he like the idea of converting
the guest house into a staff house and the idea of having guest room there
for a couple.

Now the idea of building a new place where your home is makes sense as it
faces the right way for the evenings. However I don't like the idea of your
home losing both the view and evening sunshine from this location. Moving
the house is fine but give it to Bob. I think you should be in the upstairs
have two complete apartments one for you and Joe and the other one for
myself when in camp, they should be closed off from the rest by a suitable
hallway door. The guest bedrooms could be long and narrow so when you enter
your bathroom one side and a tea & coffee bar on the other side with a mini
frig below then open out to the sleeping area and arm chair for TV later
sliding patio door on to a common balcony running the entire length. In the
case of yours I would have a screen fence to block vision. Now your two
units could be out over to make a common garage below with a stair case
directly to your section.

Brent say so what do you think guys, sound very good but do not forget a
laundry for personal items and it should be on the ground floor with choice
of the cloth line or a dryer are very good point, I take this all to my
architect in town and see what he can come up with.

So let's all get lunch and then we go riding please -- sure thing. We have
a good lunch Kia had made a really great soup today; I asked him what was
in the soup he simply said left over and stock well it sure went down well.

I`m thinking I want dad out on this trip so I call Sam l DR1 to DR2 -- hi
Joe are you riding today, no why. Can we borrow your body armor and helmet
etc -- no problems Joe it is all hanging up in the shed help yourself to
any thing you need. Thanks Sam -- Out.

John you got a minute please, what is up, go to Sam's place and in the shed
in the back yard get geared up and come with us please. John's face was
priceless

Sure will even if it is tight so where do you plan on going Br 80, I don't
know if it --is clear for the part we are going to use is but there is a
nice mud hole which you can go through if you stop and think.

Brent are you ready now I will do any commutations with dispatch, for your
information do you see this button right here, well you press to talk make
sure you are on channel two please.

Everyone ready then start your engines and follow me, DR1 to dispatch -- go
ahead Joe -- I'm taking two others with me on the bike to Br 80 for
training -- out

Dispatch to DR1 -- you got that new recruit with you ha ha -- yes and I
will be switching to Channel2 -- out

I unlock the gate so everyone can come through and then relock it, I then
lead the way the same as I have done with other trainees. I got them
stopped before the bend and went ahead, once I was in place I called for
the first rider that turned out to be Brent he came around the bend and not
fast which was good. He stops as he reaches the mud hole, looks things over
and then proceeds slowly keeping to the bank side; he makes it though with
one wet boot, I wait for him to meet where I'm standing. Next please, John
comes a little to fast and almost drowns his engine however he goes right
through the middle creating quite a wave.

So Brent any problems and why did you choose that route, he smiles and said
I followed your wet trail it was still showing.

John you were far to fast for safety always slow down and check out first
please. Ok lets carry on be aware there are rocks on the road so keep your
speed right down. Eventually we reach Valley Main.

I call in and advise traffic control DR1 to traffic control -- go ahead Joe
we are clear of Br 80 and on Valley Main I will switch to Channel #1 going
up to the log loading area and the will be on the link road to Hillside --
out

We stop at the log loading area and they all give Brent a bad time, but
then they say you look good mate and at least everyone can see you -- happy
riding. We depart for the link road but before that I got them both on
Channel #1.

DR1 to Traffic control we are entering the link road and will be switching
to channel 6 DR1 to Hillside Traffic -- hi Joe -- Any traffic on the link
road, nothing at all -- good I'm taking to other riders with me through
Camp #2 -- it should be clear all the way thanks -- out.

As we arrive in Camp #1 - DR1 to Hillside traffic now passing through Camp
number 1 -- out -- message received.

DR1 to Hillside traffic now at Camp #2 and stopping at the office -- out --
message received.

Jack was in the office and he heard more than one bike a came out to see
how it was he said hang on guys stay on your bikes please -- Jack quickly
gets his cameras and takes a few shots. Then he says come on in guys and
once in the office he says well I be dammed when did you learn ride
Brent. Last Sunday I'm the trainee and Joe is the Boss! Jack is having a
real good laugh at Brent's expense.

So Joe how is your trainee doing and how did this all come about, well John
and I sort of got Brent cornered by saying you should not ask someone to do
a job without being able to do it himself.

Then John said about a week ago Joe had been to town on the bike and when
he got back he was looking his normal self right dusty and not to clean
when Brent walked into his office and said I want a photo of you as you are
so Joe obliged, well the other day Brent looked even more dirty and I took
photos.

I know one thing Joe's rouge gallery of Dispatch Rider is going to grow in
size now -- now everyone is laughing. So how come you came to my camp, well
two things one to give Brent more practice and two to discuss with you an
idea to eliminate the name Hillside, now we can name each camp with there
own name and for your ears only as Brent closes Jacks office door he says
we are buying up "Crew Logging" and have decided to call there two camp as
follows "Lyle's Camp" & "Keith's Camp".

Both Keith & Lyle are aware of the naming and in fact brought tears to
there eye's they really are a great pair.

Now one thought we had was run a lottery for renaming and the most
appropriate name chosen be given two nights at our usual Motel in town, the
idea is to run this for all members and families living camp. How many
spare bunkhouse room do you have as I would like to have a supers meeting
using the community hall so Jack your thoughts please.

I like the idea of the lottery as it involves everyone I certain will go
for that

Joe ask is that all Brent as I think we need to move on and this time we
are going by the various main lines back to river camp.

DR1 to hillside traffic -- hi Joe we are leaving hillside but travelling
the long way around via the logging highway to river camp -- thanks Joe --
out.

Well about 45 minutes later we pulled in to river camp fuel up the bikes
and put them away and then headed for the office, suddenly we hear a round
of applause I turn around and see a bunch of the crew watching us I wave at
them and put my thumb up.

We get into the office and check to see if there are any messages -- none
that's good. Ok let's grab a towel and a clean pair of pants and use the
bunkhouse shower and everything can go into one of those laundry
machines. Plus I think we all need our backs scrubbed and I also need a
good shave all over.

Joe and I are first in the shower block and Joe gets his razor and clipper
out and gets me fully cleaned up, we then reverse and I start at the bottom
and give Joe a tight shave around the Cock & Balls and his backside. I then
start on his head, yes it sure needed doing as it had quiet a growth there,
so the clippers first and then the cut throat and I finally finished. OK
mate lets shower while there getting my back scrubbed a couple of the truck
drivers come in, they look really sweaty and grubby.

Hi Joe pretty nice hair cut you got time there mate, I said yes and it was
long over due that was John's work. Hey John are you willing to do me
please, sure thing Tommy how far do you want to go -- the whole way if you
are willing, well it's family we help each other -- good on you mate. OK
come over to the bench and which end do you wish me to start. bottom end
well I soon get the arse hole cleaned up, OK turn over please, I get my
clipper out and the vibrations soon cause a growing erection making it easy
to clean up. That was done now the head, I give Tommy the tightest shave I
can do, once finished I said go and checkout in the mirror; you left the
eye brows, get rid of them please no problem -- well they were soon taken
right off, what a difference that makes to ones appearance.

Tell me something who is the guy that Joe has been teaching to ride, I said
you won't believe me but it is the Company CEO Brent -- well I be dammed,
at least he does not appear to be a stuffed shirt. I said no and he started
at the bottom as a choker man. However when he is in the office in town he
does wear nice looking dress pants and always an open neck shirt and is
clean shaven. However several weeks ago he said he felt far more relaxed to
get back in jeans and some good boots.

Well I must leave you as Brent comes in and strips off and puts his gear
into the washing machine and gets it going. Then heads for the shower,
Tommy calls out want you back scrubbed gee that would be nice thanks my
pleasure mate.

Well Brent gets real good scrubbing and he also does Tommy's back by this
time Brent hears the washing machine completing its cycle and puts
everything into the dryer. John and Joe are dressed in light weight pants
and tee shirts. They are sitting outside having Rum & Ginger talking about
the afternoon's events and what sort of bike should he buy for himself.

The basic thoughts are high ground clearance, engine around 250cc the
ability to have suitable box fitted for carrying items and to be lockable,
fuel tank to be largest available must be street fitted. Make no decision
it really depends and what is available. For gear two sets of Hi-Vis
overalls, one set of Hi-Vis raingear, helmet, gloves, goggles or visor
riding boots the body armor and include elbow pads. Well that should do for
a start, so I have this all down on paper and will check the internet and
look at our local suppliers also need who the other bikes were purchased
from.

Joe it's time for supper I'm surprised Brent hasn't shown up, John says I
will give him a call I use his cell phone number, hey Brent we are just
heading for supper are you joining us, I'm already there ok see you
shortly. We see Brent with a bunch of the crew, we get our grub Tea bone
steak with fried mushrooms and onions and some mashed potatoes. The crew
calls out lots of room here for you guys please join us -- on our way.

We hear you were with the Boss out there Joe, you have done a great job Joe
with all the young folk here and from what we here the same applies at the
other camps I get many slaps on the back from the crew.

So what were you doing with that crusty old logger that runs the adjacent
camp?

Brent ears pickup and is listening to see how Joe answers that one.

Well guys you may think he is a crusty old logger. -- let me tell you he
may be getting on in years but he is a perfect gentlemen and both he and
his brother want to hire my services to work on there young guys relating
to the poor school marks and in fact I will be away for roughly three day
starting at Lyle's camp after which I will be going to Lyle's brother camp
and try and do the same thing.

Well that is not the impression we all got about three years ago. I said I
think there may have been good reason for that attitude them but can assure
the truth is the totally the reverse.

We have a great supper and decide to have some desert to finish off well
good night guys have a great evening we are going home to watch some TV.

We have only been home about 15 minutes when Brent shows up, and say
congratulations Joe on how you answered that question thrown at you, very
diplomatic but also truthful. The reason I was late getting to the showers
was I got a conference call from Lyle and Keith. They are going to have
there annual BBG the weekend after next and at that time will announce the
fact that they are retiring and have invited all of us to be there, it will
be Saturday week. Just bring your swag and personal gear; I gather every
one will crash in the community hall however I believe we will be sleeping
on Lyle's back porch which is covered.

We are to be introduced to all there crew so expect questions, I will get
something together on paper. The week before I'm meeting with both Keith
and Lyle the following day when between us interview the proposed supers
for each camp and at the same time discuss their replacement to see if they
approve.

These announcements will come at the same time as the retirement is
announced.

Brent then says when are we going to get time to buy a suitable bike, I
said it's a real bugger when you want to achieve something personal.

Joe went to Lyle's camp as arranged and meet with all the young guys and
there dads and explain how he the found the answer as his marks were
lousy. Now do any of you guys have a dirt bike no because our dads say
unless we don't get our marks up no bike and it's a real bugger.

I got over the problem after working the school holidays when I had to get
up at 5:30 am then go for breakfast buy the time the school holidays
finished I still got up the same time and instead of work in the shop it
was work on the books and generally I was able to complete by around 1:00pm
so the afternoon was mine.

Now I must admit I have an advantage over the way you get your papers to
the distant learning I used the internet so my papers went electronically
and I had them back the following day, for you guys it takes time to get
your answers.

However I suggest you send your papers in daily and not weekly as I
understand this what you do at present. Now going back to the change in
getting up, by having breakfast with your Dad makes it more a family event
so Dad's your thoughts?

One of the Dads says I have a job at times getting him out of bed, I said
nothing like stripping off his bed clothes and a cold wet towel slapped on
him into the showers and breakfast, tell him you get your marks well above
80% and you will consider buying him a suitable dirt bike?

Now marks do not improve over night but look at things each month, all I
can tell you is it has worked though all Woodsman Logging camps and in fact
we are have those that have completed a graduation function at one of the
camps and it is suggested the grads will all go out on a campout in the
bush and no doubt there will be some sore heads the next morning but that
is OK.

So guys give this some very serious thought and remember you get up early
and go to bed when your Dad goes to bed because your mates will be doing
the same thing please give a try.

Any questions, Joe did you really do this yourself? Yes I certainly did, I
moved to camp as Mum and Dad went there own separate ways and came to camp
when I was 13 yrs old. Previously to that I was at the regular school in
town living with my mother, things went bad one weekend when she was away
and I got beat up badly, luckily for me it was the same weekend my Dad was
coming into town and when meet up he wanted to know what the other person
looked like. When I told him what happened he took over and dealt the
situation. My Mother was horrified at what had happened and it was agreed
that I would move to camp. It was a totally different life and to-day I
would never want to live in town again I frankly love the bush life with
it's peacefully surrounding and then at night to see the stars shining so
brightly. Now I have a short video to show you, would someone turn the
lights out please. After it has gone through lights please; now that is a
series of personal video's done by those that are graduating next month I
hope you found it interesting.

Any questions and I try to answer, who was your first person you suggested
this too that is easy it was Sam could we meet him and here his version,
that should be no problem and incidentally Sam was the one that help me get
introduced to camp life and for that I'm very gratefully. Lets see if I can
get him to come over I get my radio out and call DR1 to super after a few
moments Bob replies Hi Joe how can I help, Bob what schedule is Sam on, he
is off the next two days why. Please make contact with him and get him to
come to Crew Logging by going right through hillside#2 and then exit onto
the main line turn right and enter Crew Logging on Br 2 please let John
know what is going on. Let me know tonight re Sam thanks Bob -- out

There was lots of discussion going on between the guys and there Dad's,
during this time my radio went off AS to DR1 -- hi Bob -- Sam says great
what time, lets make it 10:00 am and check with him re his radio channels
he has as he needs Channel #6 to go thought Hillside if not hopefully you
have one that you can loan out -- thanks Bob -- Out

The following day Sam arrived riding of course his bike attracted a lots of
attention and also the gear he is wearing, Sam really played the part well
so guys it appears you have meet Sam he was the guy that help me when I
arrived in camp and is a dammed good mate as well.

Sam we would like you please explain how you were doing with school work,
well Sam does a good job and he said we got others to try it out and the
others good the same results. The other thing was a number of us had both
Mum and Dad in camp and in my case Mum did housekeeping of one of the
bunkhouses and the end result also improved family relations by becoming
more of a family by eating all together. Any questions no one came forward
with anything but I could see they were taking between themselves.

Joe said I have another video that involves both of us; I had been asked by
my old school principle to give a speech on how my life had changed with
moving to camp. I was not too keen about this but my dad sort of said go
for it well a video was made and both Sam & I broke tradition for
graduation and you will see this in the video.

That video was well received and then I said there a couple of guys in our
own company that graduate also this year and that is going to be held in
the community hall at Hillside, there will be no dressing up and it also
means the parents can attend with ease.

Sam I guess you want to get out of your riding gear come on to my room and
get changed. Once in the room and the door was shut we hugged and kissed
each other and I complimented him on how he presented the facts. To night
we must get well bonded as it has been a long time, too long says Sam.

Sam has got his regular jeans on and a ventilated Hi-Vis shirt grabs his
hard hat and we make our way back to there community hall, the young guys
are still there talking between each other. Sam goes to one group and I go
to the other group; I ask what's the discussion, well one of them says I
don't see how getting up that early is going to help, I said I would not
have believed it either as the first few months from regular school to
living in camp my marks actually dropped and it was only after working in
the shop during the school holidays I never reverted back to getting up
later and suddenly within three months my marks were coming up and by six
months I was ahead to what I was getting in regular school.

Sam who had helped me get used to camp life also tried it out and found he
was also doing better then at supper with his folks he told his parents
that Peter his younger brother would also be getting up earlier whether he
like it or not. His brother pulled a long face I don't how that is going to
do anything however within 3 months he was ahead of Sam; and Sam's marks
that were almost at 80%.

Then one day the company CEO asked to talk with me and he told me that
River Camp school marks were the best of all the camps, it turns out he is
on the board of the distant learning and he had found out that it started
with my marks going up and wanted to know what I had done. When I explained
he laughed and said something so simple it is amazing. Now let's try and
prove this out how about going to one of the other camps and we will get
the young guys all together with there Dads so we can test this out.

Well I got taken over by my Dad he returned home and I stayed in the
bunkhouse with the young guys for a couple of nights, then I was in the
showers shaving and I get a smack on my backside, I said thanks mate that
was nice. The guy that did it thought I was someone else; I looked at the
guy and said I think you might be Jeremy yes I'm well I'm Joe so how goes
it oh so so, well doesn't sound to good what up my dammed school work I
have lots of problems just don't seem to be able to concentrate as I need
to and my marks are lousy.

Are you the guy that's come from river camp to try and help us out, yes I
am and we will meet all of you later and I hope your Dads are all there
because I need there support also. Anyway this idea went through all the
camps at that time there was only four camps, they are know as Mountain,
Eastern, Gully and River Camp. The end result has caused the distant
learning wanting to know what we did. So guys it is up to you and for all
it helps to make it a family breakfast and if you are living at home no
doubt your Mum is working so she only has one breakfast to deal with, and
if its only your Dad it is still a family breakfast. Please remember we are
all family what ever company your folk work for.

That evening we all meet and so it went on in the same way as it has been
here.

Either Sam or I will answer any questions you may have either privately or
as a group. For the present we are going for a walk before supper so I
expect we will see you all there.

I said Sam have you been to the cook to let him know and find out which
room, no I have not best do it right now and we can grab a mug of
tea. While getting the tea Cook asks are you Sam he says yes, I have been
expecting you here is your room key it is next to Joe's thanks so much you
are very welcome so what is your name he say Kuone ( then he laughs it
means good boy) Thanks Kuone.

Sam moves his gear into his own room and then we take a short walk finally
get back and make similar comment that this camp appears to be well looked
after, just before entering the bunkhouse block I see Lyle sitting outside
his office. I said come with me this man is part owner here there camp that
I have not seen yet is run by the other half and his name is Keith they are
brothers and suspect they may be twins.

As I get closer I say Hi Lyle I would like to introduce you to Sam come on
boy's come into the office for a few minutes and let's hear how you have
been making out. I said I think we are getting through to them and when Sam
arrived they were really interested in the bike he was riding and the gear
also so that broke the ice, anyway we will see what happens supper time as
we will join up with young guys, we have told them we are both available to
talk to as a group or privately.

Lyle says Sam will take a shot of Scotch with us as a token of my
appreciation why thank you I would like it with a dash of water please I
know Joe here will take it straight well after a second drink I said I
think we should go and have supper, good idea says Sam. Well thank you Lyle
I will see you before we return to-morrow and next week I will go to your
brother place however I would like a map for that area as I do not know my
way there. Oh that is east, go past Mountain camp and then the third branch
C1 turn down there and it will take you directly into camp.

Great thanks so much, as we enter the cookhouse the young guys call out
come and join us please. We get our supper's steak and chips, Sam has the
same thing, I take Sam's plate while he gets two large mugs of tea and we
join the young guys. The first question that gets thrown at us is how long
will it take before our marks show any improvement we both said 3 months oh
that long well I guess I'm going to have to buckle down and get my but into
gear, dad has said once me marks are over 80% he will consider buying me a
dirt bike and that is something really want as it means I can go fishing on
my own.

The Dads are listening to all this and each one has his thumb up and a big
grin on there faces

We had a good evening, and as we were about to leave we grabbed a couple of
cans of ginger ale, one of the Dads came over and said thanks so much for
your efforts and then said in about a months time Lyle is have his annual
BBQ I'm going to ask him if he will invite you both, it is a time when both
camps get together and we all crash in the community hall so bring your
swags if Lyle will agree. Well thanks very much, and so we head for our
rooms now my bed is well crumbled so I strip off and just carry a towel and
go to Sam's room with some over proof rum he has already got the ginger
ale, I pour ourselves a good shot and we sit there taking when there is a
knock at the door and it is young Jeremy, oh sorry to bother like that
don't be shy come on in. So how can we help, Jeremy says this may seem out
of place but we young guys have always been encourage to bond and since Sam
is a bike rider I would like to fucked by a biker, I laugh and say well we
are both bikers can you handle that. Well I'm sure going to try and thank
you for not throwing me out. I said it is not only this company but or own
company is exactly the same.

I can remember my Dad saying within the first day you may see guys walking
around totally in the nude also with the lack of women they have sex with
each other just ignore it I don't want to know, now as time goes on you may
get the need all I ask is always use condoms and if you run short just ask
and in fact I will show you where I keep them so help yourself and always
keep a half dozen in your pocket.

It sure sounds like the company you work for is similar to Crew Logging,
tell me something else I know you wear a high visibility shirt how come?
That is something that is instilled into you when your over 5 years old,
you must be visible at all times and it's the same way once you are about 8
years old you start wearing a hard hat at all times during the working
day. The company is very safety minded we even have dog tags that give
medical history, your name encoded it also provides access to your room
instead of a regular key. It can be read by the ambulance and the hospital
plus the company it also shows if you are a qualified first aider it is
worn 24 hours a day here has a look at mine. Sam shows his as well, gee you
both have a first aid ticket we said yes we do and today 95% of the crew
have tickets.

Before you can even work in the shop you must already have your ticket --
well that is different but I sort of like that idea. Anyway Jeremy we are
wasting time you wanted fucking by two bikers how would you like it done,
my legs over your shoulders ok Sam you start well Sam slide in very easily
and gets Jeremy off with a big load as the ring piece clamps down.

Sam slips out and we ask would you like some refreshment to wet your mouth
please and we hand him a part can of Ginger Ale -- are that's good and with
that Joe slides in and really pounds Jeremy hard and heavy the look on
Jeremy face is that of great pleasure and delight. Finally Jeremy shoots
another big load and Joe fills his condom. Jeremy is just lying there
getting his wind back, we check his ginger ale there is still plenty there
so I put a shot of rum into the can.

Well Jeremy how does it feel to have been fucked by two bikers one after
the other -- exhausting but very pleasurable. So finish up your drink and
hit the sack don't forget breakfast is 6:00 am from now on and that much
earlier to bed and you will do good my friend. Jeremy cleans off his chest
using his undershorts pull his pants on and departs thanking thanks for all
that advice I'll see at breakfast 6:00am.

I strengthen Sam's glass and do the same, I return the bottle to my room
and head for the toilet get rid of my condom and have a good pee and return
to Sam's room and slide into bed, Sam was doing the same thing and he joins
me in his bed, we are sitting there finishing off our drink and Sam asks do
you have any spare condoms with you, sure do I will have to go and get a
couple as we both need one, I nip to my room and grab my toilet bag and
return well we both get fucked, Sam does a great job and has lots of
practice with his younger brother we finish our drinks must remember to
return them to the cook house in the mooring. Well I'm fucking Sam but
don't remember completing as I fell asleep. I have an alarm wrist watch
that I turned on last night and that dammed thing went off; that's when I
found I was still connect so I start pounding Sam and fill my condom before
disconnecting, finally I head for the showers, Sam is fully awake now and
follows me there, a quick dump and loose the condom then the shower back to
my old room where I make it look as if it's been slept in get dressed in my
riding gear I had thrown both mine and Sam's overalls into the washer so
they were nice and clean. I check with Sam asking are you ready for
breakfast yes on my way, Sam says I have a little packing before I'm ready
to leave that is fine as I want to have a private work with Lyle. On entry
the young guys callout and say look we are all hear bright and early I
laugh saying good for you now that means every day guys. We get a good
breakfast, Sam get his things packed and I talk briefly with Lyle saying
Sam know nothing about what is going on so Mums the word. If I get a call
again for Sam to come to your brother place make sure that he says nothing
about the changeover -- thanks for tipping me off I'll sure let Keith know
when we meet up to-night.

Well you two have a great weekend; there is something I would like to ask
are you twins because your features are so similar in every way. Yes we are
but it is not commonly known, Mum passed away when were 5 yrs old and so
Dad brought us up and was good to us he had both of us working in the bush
by the time we were 13 yrs old.

Dad ran a gippo logging outfit then when we were I guess 19 yrs old we
could fight any man in the bar and we never ever lost a fight however Dad
got into a fight one night we were not there but home just going to bed
when the police came to our place to advise us Dad was dead as a result of
a bar fight. Neither of us every fought again, I remember sitting at the
kitchen table with my brother saying what the hell do we do now. His
comment was we must give dad a burial and also get any wood out that has
been dropped then we shut her down and get any usable equipment back here
and sort out the legal side. The crew was disappointed that we going to
shut it down but understood the reason.

Well once everything was sorted out, every came to the two of us equally,
much to our surprise Dad had left almost $200,000 plus the house. Well this
surprised both of us because Dad only spent money when he really had too.

So again we sat in the kitchen and said to each other what are we going to
do? And I said the only thing we know is logging, but Keith's says yes true
however I think we need to look for an establish camp where the owner is
retiring and we take it over.

We were lucky as we already had a number of contacts and a good logging
mate of Dads came to us one day and said I think I know of what you are
looking for come with me and I'll take you out there right now and see what
you think, well that is still today our camp and the one that Keith looks
after.

An amazing story Lyle; I see Sam over there is ready to leave so we are
both going back to River Camp, Lyle says oh just a moment and give me an
envelope and ask that it be handed to Brent -- I said certainly will do
that for you -- I go to shake hands but instead Lyle give me a right tight
hug saying save riding Joe see you again soon.

I go back to Sam and ask you ready, sure am OK we are going back through
Hillside have your radio on channel 6. I call DR1 to hillside dispatch,
good morning Joe how can I help DR1 & DR2 are going to entering the link
road and then follow one of the trucks down into camp, we are on our way to
River Camp -- out.

Hillside Dispatch -- to DR1 - message received and understood give us a
call when you get to the log loading area -- will do -- out

I startup and lead the way and we soon arrive at the log loading area DR1 &
DR2 to Hillside dispatch we are at the log loading area - out

Hillside Dispatch to DR1 & DR2 road is open no truck coming up for roughly
½ hour so clear to go -- thanks dispatch we are on our way, 15 minutes
later we are in camp #2.

DR1 & DR2 to Hillside dispatch we are now clear and coming in to the camp
yard message received, please stop at the office Jack has a package for you
-- will do -- out.

We pull up in front of the office, and we both walk in Jack calls out come
on in guys do want a mug of tea, no I'm OK what about you Sam no thanks
Jack not this time. So how are you doing Sam, pretty good thanks I enjoy my
work and everything else, my young brother will be starting in the shop
this coming summer and he is looking forward to that from what he tells me,
well that is great and by the way Joe; Brent tells me the school marks are
on the rise here, I'm sure pleased to hear that good news thanks Jack we
will be off. There are no trucks using the roads to River camp but best to
check with both dispatches. See you sometime Jack say hi to John please
will do. After checking with hillside and river camp dispatches we have a
clear run right back into camp.

I call in to River Camp -- DR1 & DR2 one mile out from camp -- out

As we enter camp Brent is outside the office and beckons me, Sam you go and
get filled up I'll there in a few minutes, I stop my bike and get the
package out, and Brent says I want to here how you made out at Lyle's
camp. I'll be there in a few minutes must fuel up first -- fair enough give
me 5 minutes and I'll be back.

Sam is waiting at the pump, and I thank him for coming out when requested
so when are you next off, same thing next week. I'll see you later thanks
mate you did an awesome job and you sure got the guys all talking when
arrived.

I ride back to the office and simply leave my helmet in my office and head
for John office, shut the door please Joe. So firstly how did you make out
with the young guys in Lyles section I think very well. At first they
didn't really believe me and they asked if there they could hear how
someone else made out to my suggestion so that is how Sam came over on
Wednesday morning, with him pulling up on his bike it drew a lot of
attention from all these young guys. Sam asks tell me where the toilet is
please and after that I'll tell what you want to know, by this time I'm out
there and said go and use my room here is the key and get your gear off. He
had come correctly dressed as you would see him here during the work day
and even had his hard hat. The guys are asking me a number of good
questions about the bike and they ask also is the bike own by your company
I said yes but I also have my own bike which is little bigger in
capacity. Sam returns and say lets go inside, now guys you asked for
someone to verify what I had said about changing your hours of school work.

Sam please tell these guys how you got your school mark up, Sam does a
fantastic job and almost has them eating out of his hand. There was a
continuous discussion and I said again if you want to talk to either of us
privately or as groups please don't hold back, now we are both going to
take a walk. I saw Lyle sitting outside his office so I introduce Sam; he
said come on into the office and with that he got out his shot glasses
luckily nothing was said that would trigger Sam thinking. However this
morning just before leaving I thank Lyle for his hospitality and told him
Sam know nothing only those present at the meeting do, now if the same
thing occurs while I'm at your brothers camp please let him know when you
talk to him. I got full support from all the Dads and the pressure is on
the young guys.

So Sam needs to put in for two days extra pay will you deal with that
please Joe certainly.

Now lets get down to the nity gritty the new guest house, my architect
advise me there is not room for both a board room and a lounge it is one or
the other, so this is what I have come up with the lounge will be in the
new building so firstly we move your old home and get it operational ASAP
on the new site, that means nothing has to be moved out.

Get going on the new guest house, also extend this building put two offices
on the far end, and take this office and enlarge it and make it the board
room. The way the building faces it will create a "U" shape building. Now
what is behind the receptionist area John, it has files and other office
storage it is rather full. Ok we will put the storage before the new
offices and open that up as your lady needs more space plus it will give
her a window to the sunshine and cross ventilation. The old guest house we
leave as it is for the present.

Those two new offices it would be nice to put patio doors in there and also
the board room, what about you Joe we can easily change that window out and
make it a patio door well that would be nice. It that all agreed so once
the new guest house is completed you can move in to your apartment. The
only thing that will not be there is laundry and dryer however downstairs
in the guest house we will put a heavy weight machine and dryer.

So John how many spare bunkhouse room do we have plus four guest house
rooms they can be used for the construction superintendant and possible his
Forman.

Guys do you see any problems no nothing at present but need to look at this
building outside and pace it out for size, fair enough says Brent who then
asks do we have any drawing of the building -- I'm not sure with out
looking at the old records, hope there is something as it will help the
architect know what he is dealing with. John goes to the storage area and
much to his surprise he locates the drawings and get them all out there
four different ones and take them back to his office and they both pour
over them and appear to be up to date great says Brent and they get rolled
up and slipped in to a tube, he says I will get them all digitized.

What are you guys doing this weekend, nothing special well come into town
this evening and we will go to the pub for supper then tomorrow look at
bikes you will stay at my place and Joe bring your riding gear so if we are
successful you can ride the bike back to River Camp we three need a change
of scenery and I will return by the following weekend and then all three of
us can go riding and take a picnic lunch what do you say guys.

John says to Joe I guess there is really nothing to get ready for your Crew
Logging next week as it will be the same as the other camp.

The main thing I need to do is get laundry done but that could wait till
Monday the other than to pack some town clothes etc but I think while in
town I'm going to get another set of overalls for riding Brent says that is
something we can do on Saturday as I need a couple of sets as well.

John says hey guys I hope Kia has not cleared the soup away because we need
some lunch lets there right now. As we enter the Cookhouse Kia says he has
some even better soup and salmon sandwiches for all of us. You had your
lunch yet no I was just about to get it well then join us please thank you
will do.

Within 5 minutes lunch is served while we are drinking tea, the three of us
are going to town shortly we ask Kia is there anything you need a nice
bottle of scotch no problems we will be back for supper on Sunday have a
good time -Bye
