Subject: The Alpha's Mate Chapter 6

			     The Alpha's Mate

Jamie's POV

Looking at Adam as he fell down my whole body froze, the only thing that
was going through my mind was if he's going to be alright. I ran with what
little strength I have left to his side and turned him over to his
back. "Adam, come get up please" I said desperately to try and wake him up.

By now most of the vamps were falling back and the pack was still on alert
incase more came fly out of the woods. Jay and Ian ran to my side, "He
won't wake up" I said to both of them trying to control my emotions.

"JAMIE!" came a yell from the back door of the mansion, I turned to see
Koda and the rest of my friends and family come out into the back yard of
the estate. I didn't know if I should run to them or stay by Adam who just
risked his life to save me and the kids.

The answer to my question grabbed my arm tight and wouldn't let go, I
looked down to see Adam staring at me. I knew this was my only chance to
get away from him, I pulled my arm from him and bolted for the safety of
those I loved.

But I was cut off by Adam who grabbed my arm and pulled me back to him,
"Your not going anyways Jamie, not now or EVER!" Adam growled. "Let him go
you asshole" Yelled Koda ready to meet Adam head on. Adam threw me to Jay
and Said "Get him out of here".

Jay holding me tight said "I'm sorry" and dragged me to the house, the rest
of my friends and family tried to get to me but were stopped by the packs
of wolves. "Jay please let me go, please they'll kill them if you don't let
me go. PLEASE!" I begged but Jay wouldn't let me go.

Adam's POV

As I watched Jay take Jamie out of harm's way I turned to see the fool who
would dare challenge me for my mate. "You think you can take him from me
Human" I asked as the boy came towards me.

"I'm more then ready to take him from you beast, Give Jamie back to me."
The human said. "You'll have to beat me to get him back." I growled at
him. We both took our fighting stands and he made the first move, punching
left as I ducked right.

He's well trained, but my skills were far better. Punched and kicks were
sent back and forth between us, one blocking the other and we
fought. Neither one of us willing to give in to the other.

He managed to land a punch to my wounded chest bringing me down to one
knee, He was about to take another punch when a bright light ignited in the
middle of out battlefield.

Serenity stood where the light had faded, "Enough! No more fighting!" With
that she held her staff and hit the bottom to the ground three times and
said "Shadows of the night come forth and bind the enemies before my
sight." With that the humen's froze as if unable to move there body's.

"Let's go the spell will hold them until were all gone." She said to the
pack and everyone left myself included with the aid of Ian. "Far well
human, let's hope we don't meet again. Or I'd have to kill you." I said
back to the human I was fighting with.

We made our way to the car's and back home to my estate, where hopefully my
mate won't be to angry with me.

Koda's POV

When we got to the house, we hear fighting and after a few minutes we all
heard "ADAM!". Everyone froze, "That's Jamie" His older brother Chris
said. "Let's move" John told everyone, I ran faster then anyone of them
ramming the door open and heading straight for the back door. If there
wasn't one I was going to make one.

As we made our way outside I saw Jamie ran to a man laying down on the
ground, I yelled as loudly as I could "JAMIE!" He and everyone there turned
there heads towards me. I was soon joined by our friends and family, I ran
down the stairs heading his was and he bolted for me when the guy got up
and grabbed his arm tight.

(Fucker has his hands on MY Jamie!) it though as I ran to them, he threw
Jamie to another man who dragged Jamie out of harms way I guess. Good thing
too cause I was going to give this guy a whole world of hurting.

We stood and took our fighting stands and he said "You think you can taking
him from me Human?" He asked, I said "I'm more then ready to take him from
you beast, Give Jamie back to me. He growled and said "You have to beat me
to get him back."

I swung hard left and he ducked right, punches and kicks were passed
between us. (Dame he's better then I though). I was lucky enough to hit him
hard on the chest, bringing him down to one knee. I was about to knock him
into the next century when a bright light lit in the middle of the whole
fight.

A women emerged and said "Enough! No more fighting!" with that she hit her
staff on ground three times and began to say something. I felt my body
freeze unable to even move my eyes. An older man came and took the guys arm
and swung it over his shoulder carrying him away.

The women said for them to go since the spell she cast won't break until
all of them were gone. The guy who took Jamie turned to me and said "Far
well human, let's hope we don't meet again. Or I'd have to kill you." With
that they left.

We all stood frozen for a about 15 minutes when finally we were all able to
move, I felt the rage build up in me more and more until I was able to move
my body. Once free I screamed at the top of my lungs and slammed my fists
to the ground braking the concrete surrounding the pool.

(Fuck not again, they took him again) I though to myself when I felt a hand
on my shoulder. I turned to see Paul, Jamie's dad looking at me. "Don't
worry Koda, well get him back. Even if it kill's us, we will get him
back.". I just nodded my head unable to speak. (Jamie hang on, well come
get you I promise.) I thought to myself and walked to join the others
leaving the large estate.


Jamie's POV

They were all right there in front of me and I hesitated to run to them,
why...Why did I hesitate to run to them. (This is all Adam's fault, he's
done something to me so I couldn't leave his side for a second.).

I didn't blame Jay for doing what he was told to do, Adam was the lead
wolf, the alpha of the pack so Jay didn't have a choice but to
obey. Sitting here looking out at the gardens was nice, me with my own
thoughts.

A knock came at the door and I told whoever it was to come in, "Jamie, you
okay?" came Rocky's voice from the door. I smiled and said "Come on in
kids, and yes I'm alright. Just a little sad that's all."

"Why sad?" asked little Michelle, "Well sweetie, those people that came
after the vampires left were my friends and family. Because I made a
promise to Adam I can't ever see them again." I said trying to make them
understand.

"That is sad, why would Lord Adam do that?" She asked another question,
"Well because I guess I'm his mate, it doesn't matter to him how I feel I
guess. The only thing that matter's to him is if he gets what he wants." I
said back to her.

The doors busted open and Adam walked coldly to where we were, the kids all
ran to my back and I blocked them from his anger. "Get out!" he growled and
I knew this was going to be serious. "Kids go on up to your room and I'll
be up in a minute to tuck you guys in." I said to them as calmly as I
could.

They all left the room, and I turned to Adam. "What do you want monster?" I
said with a cold tone of voice. "Be carful mate, I would hate to punish you
for trying to challenge me." He said back with a cold smile.

"What do you want from me Adam? You've taken my life, my family and my
friends from me what more do you want?" I asked frustrated with his anger
and with myself for feeling so weak in his presence and his cold stare.

"You!, that's all I ever wanted. A mate who is loyal to me and would give
his life for me as I would him!" he yelled. "Well sorry to burst your
bubble but you'll have to find a mate who would do that for you." I said
back to him.

"The only thing you care about is your self and nothing more, You're a cold
and selfish person who takes what he wants with out remorse or
consideration of how someone else feels." I yelled back to him.

The next thing I knew I was pinned to the wall, his hard body pinning me to
it. His handsome and rugged face was so close to mine I could feel his warm
breath blowing past my lips.

His blazing green eyes looking at me, daring me to say more but all I could
do was shake. From excitement, fear or lust, I wasn't sure maybe all of
them. Maybe a part of me wanted to be dominated by this man, this beast.

"Your wrong, your happiness, your life and love mean more to me then
anything. Ask anything of me and I will give it to you." He whispered to my
ear, sending shivers down my body.

"Let me go, find yourself a new mate. One who is worthy of your love, I beg
you Adam please." I asked, my body shaking pressed next to his. "That is
something I cannot give you mate, you may ask for anything else but that."
He whispered back.

Tears fell from my eye's, unable to hold them any longer I cried. His
strong but gentle hand came and lifted my chin so I could meet his
gaze. His lips firm and soft all at the same time caressed my own trembling
lips.

Soon the soft caress became a gentle kiss, his hand dropping down to my
neck, slowly making its way down my arm and on to my butt. His other hand
came and gently took hold of the back of my neck, pulling me into him more.

With out knowing it my own body betrayed me, my arms that feel to my side
soon wrapped around his neck pulling him more into me. A soft moan left my
lips as our kiss became on of both lust and need.

His growl which I felt came from his chest at to his lips broke me out of
the lust and I pushed him away from me. Breathing as if it was my first
breath I fell against the wall, pushing myself up I ran out of the room and
headed for the kids room down the other end of the hall.

(What have I done) Was my only thought as I fell against the door, baring
my face into my hands.


Adam's POV

My whole body shook with need, the wolf inside me wanted to run after Jamie
and bring him down. The wolf was so close to the surface, ready to brake
the chains of restraint I have built over the years.

He wanted his mate, he wanted his mate to submit to his needs, his lust and
his need to bond. I walked out of Jamie's room and headed for my study, I
knew Jamie needed time to get himself back together.

Walking in I feel on the large leather chair by the fire place, taking in
the flames. Just thinking about Jamie shaking underneath me, thinking about
his soft lush filled lips had me picturing him on his knees taking my cock
down his mouth and throat. I groaned and headed for my room.

Getting into the bathroom I turned on the cold shower and stepped in,
letting my body cool down. (Dame in a few day's the moon will be full) I
thought to myself as I got out of the shower and dried myself off.

Moving on to the balcony I looked up at the night sky, the clouds his the
moon and stars. Thunder sounded in the distance and a flash of light filled
the night sky. I need to find a way to get Jamie away before the full moon,
when all my wolf instincts would brake all logic in my mind.

Jamie wouldn't be ready for that, he wouldn't be ready to handle my wolfs
mating fever. Feeling the strong gust of wind hit my naked body I knew the
rain would fall on us soon, taking one last look outside I walked back in
heading for my bed. And I hope I could sleep my need for Jamie away.


Jamie's POV

Getting back up to my feet I walked to the kids and made sure they were
tucked in, A flash of light out the window got my attention and soon the
loud boom of thunder was heard seconds later.

Rocky bolted up on the bed and turned to look at Michelle, then looked at
me. "What's wrong Rocky?" I asked, "Nothing, Just Michelle's scared of
thunder storms" He said back to me.

Another lightning flashed and another louder boom of thunder shook the
house, Michelle got up and screamed, I ran to her side and took her into my
arms. "Its alright baby, I'm here. I won't let anything happen to you guys
I promise." I said trying to sooth her.

I started to sing her a soft lullaby my mom used to sing to me when I was
still a small kid, My mind flashed back to the night when I was crying
because a strong gust of wind blew the tree branch into my room braking my
window.

My parents and siblings all ran in to the room like I was screaming bloody
murder, My brother and sister cleaned up the glass while mom and dad calmed
me down. After they were done my dad took my brother and sister out of the
room which left only me and my mother there.

She started to sing to me a lullaby her grandmother sang to her when they
would visit her in Scotland. I listened to her feeling myself fall back to
sleep, after that she would always sing it to me whenever I was scared or
sad.

I smiled at the fading memory and looked down to see Michelle asleep in my
arms, I looked at Rocky and he smiled at me before going back to bed. I
laughed a little thinking he reminded me of my older brother Chris.

He was always looking after me and my sister, He would always protect us
from anything or anyone...yup from bully's to spiders my brother was always
there for us. Never letting me or my sister down.

I smiled looking at Rocky, his parents would be so proud that there eldest
son was taking care of his younger siblings. Tucking Michelle back in I
walked the room making sure they were all snug and warm before making my
way down stairs in search of a snake.

Making my way into the kitchen I went from covert to covert until I found a
jar of chocolate chip cookies...(Yum) I thought to myself, I grabbed the
jar and made my way to the fridge to get myself a glass of milk.

Munching down on my goodies Jay walked in and looked at me, he looked at me
sad and hung his head low. I laughed a little and said "Jay I'm not mad at
you, pull up a chair and we'll talk okay."

He took a seat across from me, his head still hung low when I said "Jay, I
know you didn't have a choice but to do was Adam said. I'm not mad at you
and your still my friends if that's alright with you."

His body started to shake and I moved to him and pulled him into a hug, he
sobbed on my shoulder and said "I'm sorry Jamie, I'm so sorry. I wanted to
let you go, I wanted you to be back with your family but I was so afraid of
what Lord Adam would do to me. I'm such a coward, I don't deserve to be
called your friend."

I just held him and told him everything was going to be alright. When all
of a sudden I was ripped from his body and flung to the wall and crashing
to the floor. I looked up to see Adam holding Jay up by the throat, his one
muscled arm holding the man off the floor.

"ADAM!, stop he didn't so anything wrong!" I yelled running to him, trying
to brake his hold on Jay. He looked at me, his face filled with anger, pain
and betrayal. Letting go of Jay he held me tight and said "Go to your room
Jamie...NOW!" He yelled and I shook my head.

"I'm not going anywhere unless your with me, now come with me to my room" I
said back to him, "Jamie, don't argue with me go to your room" he growled
at me. I shook my head and took his arm pulling him along out of the
kitchen and headed for my room.

(Men can be such idiots ) I thought to myself as I dragged Adam up the
stairs and into my room.

Hi everyone, I would like to say I'm SO sorry for the long wait on this
chapter. But with school, work and lots of drama I never found the time to
write. I'm going to do my best to post more chapter up in the future so
please bare with me. I would also like your help on a matter, I'm planning
to put two new characters in the story. A Jock and a geek (No offence to
the brains out there). I need you guys to come up with a name for them, so
please email me and let me hear your results.
