Two weeks after Mino had given birth, I decided I needed to find out what
was going on. Mino was back almost to normal and had even gone hunting. So
I had to find out what the people thought. Mino agreed. Danny would never
leave the complex again. Mino had him bonding with his young Son. That
would be his duty from now on. Dadillis was just a none person, almost
invisible as he did everything he was told without even thinking.

The only thing on Mino that remained was the pendulous teats that the baby
fed on almost constantly. What really surprised me was how fast that kid
grew. At close to two pounds at birth, it weighed near fifty after just a
couple of weeks. It's horns had also started to grow.

I left again to time my arrival in the town as the morning ferry arrived.

I was greeted like a long lost Son. No one cared where I had been or what I
had been doing. If they only knew.

I found out Dadillis was believed to have been killed by one of his tricks
that he was blackmailing or just simply took off. He was not missed. No
mention was ever made of Danny.

Leon was back at his job at the hotel. We enjoyed many night together as I
gather information and supplies. I knew with just a thought I could make
him come with me, but I think I wanted him to come willingly. I just wasn't
sure how to do it.
