Subject: Chosen ones-episode two-The GentleMen

In the spirit of Halloween, I decided to postpone the original episode
Two entitled "Skin" for episode three. In this episode, The boys are
trying to enjoy the Halloween Holiday but a trio of changelings known as
the Gentleman has something in store for Cody, Rusty, and Bryce.

*****************************************************************

"I can't wait for Halloween," Rusty said as he walked towards Bryce and
I. "It's gonna be wicked.

"Is he always this excited over Halloween?" I asked Bryce.

"No, this actually him when he is calm," He said with a smile. "You need
to see him on the actual date."

"What took you so long to get here?" I asked him. "School starts in a few
minutes."

"I had to fight this changeling off," he said. I looked at him.

"What? You saw a changeling?" Bryce asked. "Did you need our help? Why
didn't you tell us till now. God, Rusty you don't run this show."

"Bryce, calm down," Rusty said with a confused look.
"Yeah. He can't help the fact that he needs to be the dominant one on the
team," I said with a smile. He flashed me a glare.

"I didn't need little Mr. Empath over here and your help," He said with a
shrug. "All I had to was set him on fire and that was that."

"Are you sure that was that?" I asked him.

"What do you mean?" He asked me.

"Caleb said that sometimes when we kill these creatures they don't always
die," I said.

"He's dust," Rusty said confidently. "Just Relax."

*****************************************************************

"Relax?" The changeling asked. "How do you expect me to relax when I was
nearly cremated."

"I can't believe you let a Chosen one beat you?" His best friend, Sampson
asked.

" I was caught off guard," Rex said. "After all, I was after that girl
and her fear."

"Someone was hungry, I see?" Zion asked amused as Sampson finished
working on Rex.

"It's a good thing he thought he killed you because he might have
actually thought he did," Sampson said.

Rex had a thought come to him. "Who's up for some chosen fun?" He asked
his friends.

"What are you thinking, T-Rex?" Zion asked him. Rex smiled.

"How about we scare the Chosen ones to death," He said with a sly smile.
"Literally."

*****************************************************************

"Let's host a party," Rusty said as Bryce and he were running around the
track for PE

"Whatever," Bryce said shortly. Rusty looked over at his friend.

"Don't tell me that you are still pissed that I didn't call to help,"
Rusty said exasperated.

"Cody's right," Bryce said. "You do like to be a glory hog. You can't
even share the spotlight enough to let us do our job."

"Okay, answer me this," Rusty said angrily. 'I am supposed to take the
time out to call you when a girls being attacked, stall the changeling,
and wait till you two get there? That makes a lot of sense, Bryce." Bryce
stopped running.

"Okay, you may have a point," Bryce said looking down.

"And since when do you listen to Cody?" Rusty asked him.

"Shut up," Bryce said as they began to start running again. "We can't
host a party."

"Why not?" Rusty asked exasperated.

"Because it's Hell week," Bryce said. "There is gonna be party central.
Why bother hosting a party? Just crash the Hell week bash on Monday."

"Shit, I forgot about that," Rusty said. "And we got school off on Monday
too."

"And people will be to drunk to even come to school Tuesday," Bryce said.

"Hell week?" Rusty asked. "We should call this Heaven Week."

"Not your best work," Bryce said with a laugh as Rusty shoved him.

*****************************************************************

I opened up my locker to have a Mummy's hand pop out of me.

"Shit," I yelled out as I dropped my books. The people around me
laughed. "Yeah, laugh it up bitches." I sent one girl an image of warts
all over her face. She ran down the hallway screaming. "That felt good."

"You like my prank, huh?" A boy asked me. I turned around to see a guy
standing there.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked him. He stuck his hand out.

"Josh Hawley," He said flashing me a smile.
"Cody Barnes," I said shaking his hand. "Why the hell would you do
something like that?"

"I thought you were this dude I hated," He said with a blush creeping up
on his neck. "Sorry about that."

"I forgive you," I said with a smile. "So where you headed now?"

"Lunch," He said as we started walking. "Hey, Let me buy you lunch to
make it up to you." Before I could answer my cell vibrated.

"Hello," I said with an apologetic glance.

"It's Caleb," He said. "Bryce and Rusty said you all had lunch right
now."

"Yeah, what's up?" I asked him.

"There are a trio of changelings on Madison St. and I was hoping you boys
could come handle them," He said. "They're already scanning the area for
the trio. Well can't Bryce and Rusty handle them? I am hungry."

"You never know how strong these changelings can be," He said with a
sigh. "I wouldn't ask you if they didn't need you."

"Fine, I will be there," I said closing the phone. I turned to Josh.
"What's up?" HE asked me.

"I want Mcdonald's," I said with a smile. "After all, you did offer to
buy lunch."

******************************************************

"So what makes you think the Chosen ones will come?" Sampson asked Rex.

"Because we killed those twin boys in that alley," He replied.

"Oh yeah," Zion said. "That was fun, dude."

"So what's the plan once we find them?" Sampson asked.

"Divide and Conquer," Rex said.

"I like that idea," Zion said with a smile.

"Hey," I yelled out as Rusty, Bryce, and I saw the three of them standing
there.

"You sure that's them?" Bryce asked. "I'd hate to kill humans."

"I can sense the evil radiating of them like sweat off a fat man," I said
as we walked towards them.

"Are you sure you're sure?" Rusty asked me just to annoy me. I rolled my
eyes.

"Look, at what we have here," Sampson said. "Chosen ones."
"Hey, I killed you earlier," Rusty said pointing at one of the
changelings.

"You didn't," Rex said. "But good try though."

"I can try again and succeed this time," Rusty said through gritted
teeth.

"Divide..." Zion said.

"And Conquer," Sampson said.

"Come and get us," Rex said with a challenging glare at Rusty.

"Damn it," Rusty said taking off after Rex as he ran.

"Rusty," Bryce called out. He looked at me. "Explain to me what is going
on here."

"This is what we in the real world call a trap," I said as we both chose
a changeling to go after.

******************************************************

Rusty scanned the area. He thought he was following after Rex but he had
somehow lost him.

"Where the fuck are you?" Rusty yelled out. " I wanna kill you for real
this time."

"Right behind you," Rex said apparently. Rex grabbed him. He placed his
index finger on Rusty's temple. A print appeared on his forehead. Rusty
gasped as Rex let him go.

"What the hell did you do to me?" Rusty asked.

"Have a happy Halloween," Rex said with a smile as he disappeared. Rusty
continued to gasp as he felt his temple.

******************************************************

Bryce threw an ice ball at Sampson who dodged.

"You're slow to be a chosen one," Sampson said as Bryce threw another
ball. Sampson dodged again. "Let me show you what real power is." He
disappeared and appeared behind Bryce. He did the same as Rex and placed
a finger on Bryce's temple. Bryce gasped as he felt some tingly
sensation. Sampson let him go. "I will be seeing you soon."

"Damn," Bryce said as Sampson disappeared.

*****************************************************

'Can you come out and fight me so I can go get some lunch?" I yelled out.
I was walking down towards an alley. I heard a struggle going on. I ran
to the source of noise. Caleb was trying to fend off Zion. "Oh my god!"
Caleb hit the wall hard as Zion slammed him.

"Look at the empath," Zion said turning to face me. I looked at him
narrowly.

"You're an empath too," I said sensing it.

"Good boy," He said to me. "Let me show you how bad I am." I felt him
enter my mind. I couldn't fight him off.

"Cody, fight him," Caleb said as he struggled to get up. I gasped, as his
connection became even stronger. He was too much for me to handle.

"Stop," I pleaded as I felt him driving me insane. "You're killing me."

"I'm not killing you," Zion said walking closer. "I am gonna scare the
hell out of you."

"Hey," Rusty called out as he threw a fireball at Zion. He dodged it and
broke the connection.

"It is done," Zion said as Bryce and Rusty rushed over to us. He
disappeared.

"What the hell were they?" Bryce asked as I leaned on his shoulder.

"The Gentlemen," Caleb said. "You boys are about to experience hell."

******************************************************

"That was way to much fun," Sampson said as He, Rex, and Zion all sat
around drinking beer.

"I noticed that these chosen ones are weaker than their ancestors," Zion
said. "It doesn't even seem that fun."

"That's a lie," Rex said with a scoff. "Think of it this way. When we
kill the chosen ones we will rule Hell. Not Lucifer."

"So what is the next thing to do?" Sampson asked Rex.

"Why you asking me?" He asked confused.

"This was your idea, T-Rex," Sampson said. "Tell me we have a plan."

"Urban legends," Zion said suddenly.

"What?" Rex asked curiously.

"We can use Urban Legends against them," Zion explained. While I was
fighting that empath, I realized that he has a fear of Urban Legends. So
why not use Urban Legends for our own purposes. Let's male them Urban
Truths."

"I like your thinking my man, Rex said as they all lifted their mugs.

******************************************************

Rusty was walking to his car. He hated to admit it but he was nervous. If
the Gentleman had the power to make your worst fear come to life, he is
sure for a treat. He heard a scraping of metal.

"Hello?" He called out. He looked around the parking lot of the school.
There was no one around. He heard the scraping again. "Is someone there?"
He continued looking around but saw nothing. He got in the car. He tried
cranking it but it wouldn't even attempt to. "What the hell?" He got back
out and opened the hood of the car. The engine had been slashed up and
wires were missing. He noticed movement behind him and turned around. He
gasped. The one thing he feared stood in front of him. The hookman stood
there waiting to slash Rusty to pieces.

*****************************************************************

Bryce jogged through his neighborhood as he always had done for the past
few months. He needed to take his mind off of The Gentleman. He hesitated
as he came up to the woods that he always ran through.

"I can't be scared, can I?" He asked himself. He was tired and didn't
wanna take the long way. "I'm a chosen one. I can't be afraid." He jogged
into the woods.

Halfway through the woods, Bryce felt like he was being followed. He
stopped and looked around.

"Come on, Bryce," He said slapping himself across the face. "Quit
freaking yourself out."

He started to continue jogging but he heard a snap of wood. He conjured
an iceball. It didn't hurt to be on guard.

"Oh my god," He said taking a step back. He noticed was in the woods with
him. It was a wendigo. "No." He took of running as the creature tore off
after him.

***********************************************************

"Matt, stay out of my bathroom," I yelled out the bathroom door. He had
stolen my Axe body spray.

"Mi casa es Su casa," He called out to me. I rolled my eyes. I grabbed my
Neutrogena face wash and begin to apply it to my face. I leaned down to
rise it off my face. I looked into the mirror and gasped. A woman with a
horribly disfigured face and blood dripping from her body stood staring
at me.

"Come join me," She said reaching through the mirror and grabbing me,
pulling me through.

"No," I cried out."

***********************************************************

Rusty was frozen with fear. As a child, his dad told the story of the
hookman. But the stories always varied. Apparently, the hookman was a man
who slayed Teen boys. Rusty had always feared the man but never thought
he would be standing this close to him. The hookman walked towards him.

'Shit," He said taking a step back. The Hook came up to slash at Rusty.
It slashed at his arm. "Ah!" He winced in pain at his injury. He ran off
towards the school in hopes of hiding and noticing the Hookman disappear.
"Where...."

The hookman could disappear? Rusty didn't know that. He ran back towards
a car in hopes of hot wiring it and escaping his attacker but he
reappeared in front of the car.

Rusty threw a fireball and it distracted the Hookman. Rusty pushed him to
the side and jumped into the car. He started to hot-wire it but the
hookman busted the window.

"Fuck," He said. It started and Rusty threw another fireball right in his
face. The Hookman stumbled backwards allowing him to take off.

***********************************************************

Bryce tripped over a log. He had hurt his foot and couldn't get back up.
He crawled over behind a bush. The Wendigo was blind but it made up for
it with its sense of hearing and smell tremendously. Bryce was shivering
because he was cold. He was shivering too because he was afraid. He saw a
Wendigo attack his dog. Ever since then he was afraid. The Wendigo had
its back to Bryce now. It was now or never. Bryce jumped up and froze the
wendigo completely.

"What now bitch?" Bryce asked. He punched the wendigo in it's face and
watched the pieces fall to the ground. "God, I never get tired of doing
that." He laughed to himself. He heard another snapping sound. He turned
and gasped. Two more wendigos stood waiting for him.

***********************************************************

"The Hookman, The wendigos, and Bloody Mary?" Sampson asked. "These boys
must be shittin their pants."

'So what's the status?" Rex asked. "Are they dead yet?"

"The one who attacked you escaped The Hookman for now but I am sure he
will be hooked pretty soon. The empath is in Bloody Mary's world, and as
far as iceman he is about to become wolf food," Zion said with a smile.

"Nice man," Rex said as they all did their handshake. "Let's sit back and
enjoy the show bitches."

***********************************************************

I opened my eyes. I could see my bathroom.

"Shit, I am inside the goddamn mirror," I said with a sigh. I looked
around. There was blood everywhere but no sign of Bloody Mary. "Where the
fuck are you, you bitch?" Matt walked into my bathroom.

"Cody, where did you go, man?" He asked looking around. I pounded on the
mirror.

"I'm here," I cried out. "I'm here. Please help me."

"He can't hear you, sweetie," a voice said behind me. I turned to see
bloody Mary.

"You bitch," I yelled out. "Why the fuck did you bring me here?"

"To welcome you to my world and my pain," She said as our eyes locked. I
felt blood coming out of my eyes. "They don't call me bloody Mary for
nothing."

***********************************************************

"So you fear the Hookman?" Caleb asked Rusty. "Interesting."

"No, not interesting," Rusty said shooting Caleb a look. "How the hell do
we stop the hookman?"

"He's an Urban Legend, Caleb said. "You don't remember what the way to
defeat him was?"

"If I did do you think I would be here now asking for help, Caleb?" Rusty
asked irritably.

"Rusty," Caleb said getting up.

"Look, I'm sorry for snapping...I know you..." Rusty stopped when Caleb
went flying threw the wall. "Oh Fuck!" The hookman slashed at Rusty who
dodged it.

Rusty punched him across the face. He slashed at Rusty again with the
hook but Rusty grabbed his hand. "The hook." He placed his hand on the
hook and heated it up. The hook melted, as did the hookman.

"Not so tough now, huh?" Rusty asked, as the hookman was no more.

"Very good, Rusty," Caleb said. "Let's just hope Bryce and Cody are
okay."

***********************************************************

Bryce hid behind a Dumpster. He had made it to an abandon lot. The
Wendigos were on his trail. He noticed a spotlight.

"Wendigos hate light," He said to himself. He ran towards the spotlight
attracting the attention of the pair. He turned the light on and shined
it in their eyes. They roared in pain.

"Pussies." He formed two ice shards and rammed them through their chests.
He watched as they froze up. He punched them in the chest and they broke
into pieces.

"Please no more," He said looking around.

***********************************************************

"You're so handsome," She said to me. "It's a shame you don't wanna stay
longer because I would so enjoy talking to you." She was killing me. The
blood dripped from my nose. I remembered that Bloody Mary could never see
her reflection. She found it to horrible and refused to look.

"Hey," I said hoarsely. "Check this out." I sent her an empathic vision
of herself.

"No," She said breaking her hold on me. "No this can't be. I am pretty."

"Bitch please," I said wiping my eyes. "You look worse than death. Now
die and let me go home." She blew up in flames at the sight of her own
reflection. The impact sent me flying through the mirror back into my
bathroom.

"Thank god," I said getting up off the floor. I looked into the mirror to
see my reflection.

***********************************************************

"Damn it," Rex said. "They escaped."

"Well, it was fun while it lasted," Zion said with a sigh. "They are
probably on their way to kill us now."

"We better lay low for awhile to get them off our trail," Sampson said to
his friends who all looked at one another.

***********************************************************

"I don't like Halloween so much now," Rusty said as we sat at the hell
week party.

"Aw, Hookman ruined it for you," Bryce teased. Rusty jabbed him
playfully.

"We need to find those Gentleman and kill them," Rusty said.

"Let's let them sweat," I said with a smile. "Their asses will be ours
when the time is right."
"I second that," Bryce said as we all laughed.

I know my halloween episode was a bit late but oh well. LoL. In Episode
3, Rusty and Cody are at odds over leadership. Meanwhile, Cody falls prey
to a charismatic man who kisses him and begins to drain his powers.
