Subject: Chronicle of Awakening: Chapter 3

Disclaimer:  All characters, events and places are based
right here in New Zealand, in an exact Fictional View. All
name places or Organisations stated are Fictional, use and
or alteration without my given permission will result in me
cursing you with the darkest arts of witchcraft.  Now I'm
pulling your leg.
All characters stated are 16 and over, if you are under the
age of 18 you need to supervised by an adult of the age 18
or older.
Note:  If you find Homosexual Interaction offensive or
swearing offensive, please find another source to read. The
use of Alcohol will be mentioned in a non abusive setting
always.

"Ok team, Tower has informed a couple of Fire and Earth
Rebels, one if which is Psychic and a pretty powerful one at
that!"  Daniel Screamed over the Helicopter to his SAF Team
(Special Armed Forces).
Daniel we have ground control, there are a couple of people
stuck in the line of fire, a band of Magi Students are down
there doing there best to shield the public of the
onslaught, looks like they are after a Server from a
computer store on Customs Street.
Vallar go back to work, you don't know what your up against,
plus you still haven't completed your training!
Actually you keep forgetting that I'm TELEPATHIC!!! *nudge*
"Ow!! What the hell was that for?" The crew turned around at
him with raised eye brows.
"Vallar and I are talking." The crew all nodded there heads
and waited for there next orders.
"Now for some reason we have ground back-up as well, which
we will need, we are up against a powerful rebel, keep your
eyes peeled and don't try any stunts..!" As Daniel made this
last statement everyone turned and looked at Lance,
reinforcing what Daniel had just said.
"OK OK!!" Lance cried with his hands up defensively. "No
stunts just follow orders." Lance started to mumble under
his breathe and started to sulk, while he was one of the
best they had skill and technique wise, he was also the
craziest.

*Vallar what's your status.*

*We've just meet up with the rookies holding them at bay,
two injured, nothing major, I've got medics coming in
shortly.  Stay cautious babe, they look organised, they are
wearing some sort of uniform, doesn't look good at all.*

The helicopter was hovering a block away from Rebels. They
all dropped ropes and abseiled to the ground.  As Daniel hit
the ground he could here the loud explosions going off, he
knew this would be different as they'd never been up against
a Rebel who could actually control an Element.
"Ok team move out!" He yelled.

*Daniel ones taken off up one of the buildings, these guys
are dangerous, the ring leader is a female in a Dark Red
Corset*

**Ha! You think I didn't hear that? Prepare for your
worst!** A female voice shouted through Daniels and Vallars
minds.
There was a scream as the other Rebel was brought to the
ground, away from the Female rebel.  Then another as the
Aerial Units brought the other one to the ground.
Vallar had moved out from cover and was in direct line with
the Female Rebel, she was stunning.  Icy blue eyes, dark
raven hair and olive skin, she was slim but rather muscled
for a woman.

She stood 50 meters away from me.  Our gazes Locked.
A wicked grin crossed my face, just then Dave shot from
around the corner yelling "VALLAR!  GET AWAY!"
That was when I felt it, a large chunk of concrete and
earth hurtling straight at me from behind.  At once my
instincts kicked in as I turned my right fist into an
explosive ball of Lava. I turned with speed and agility to
counteract the chunk of earth, punching it with precision.
On impact there was a loud explosion as shards of earth and
concrete spread all around me and knocking me back. I
landed on my back with a thud, winding myself, but
unscathed.

*Clap clap clap*

I could hear the Female walking around me, clapping as she
circled me as I clutched my sides in pain.

"Well well, looks like I have competition." The Female
said.

"That might be true, but I'm far above it." Daniel had
appeared standing beside me, looking at the women, never
breaking her gaze.  Daniel had his sword out, ready for
anything.

"I don't have time for this, however I'll leave you with
this.  The Triad has emerged, prepare for the worst." With
that she turned and jumped onto another chunk of
earth, only smaller as it flew away.  Following behind it
were the two servers they must've been after.
I slowly stood up, now that my breathe was back.

"What the hell is the Triad?" I asked Daniel

"I don't know, I guess we will be seeing more of them
though." He then turned to me as his combat face
disappeared. "Are you alright? That was some show you put
on there?" He said with a small smile, placing his arms
around my waist.

"Yeah I know. It sort of took me by surprise too." I leaned
in to kiss my partners lips.

"You know that little show turned me on, want to fix
something almost as big?" A big grin covered his face as
the helicopter started its descent to the ground 20 meters
from us.
Lance bounded out after us.
"Ok you two cut that gay shit out, we got rebels to
interrogate!"
With that he grabbed us both and pushed us towards the
helicopter.  A clean up crew had just turned up, as usual
Yulia was there to make sure any bystanders were ok.

"Tyanne your back! How did it go?" Legeta said happily
running up to her Mentor.

"It went well, we met resistance though, some which may be
a problem later on. Where's Loya?" She looked around the
Dungeon for her.

"She's up at Comms talking to Kyron about the two Members
we lost today." Legeta looked concerned at her sister.

Tyanne had started to pace the waiting area of the Dungeon.
The Triad HQ was built into a hill on the outskirts of Mana
City where the incident had just occurred. She knew there
was an organisation set up, but she didn't know there would
be resistance.
Vallar! That was his name, how did he come by such skill
and agility.
"Sister, you looked worried? Will everything still go to
plan?"
Legeta said to Tyanne.

"Hopefully, but by this new turn of events, we may need to
start the Shadow Awakenings."

Legeta Gasped. "You mean its time? The hidden one has shown
himself?"

"No, but I sense this Vallar may know something." Tyanne
Paused, a smile crept over her face. "Gather the Elite team
of Assassins, let them know in two weeks there Shadow
Awakenings begin, I want them in top condition."

"Yes sister!" Legeta Bowed her head and disappeared to
perform her orders.

Tyanne began to think to herself.
Those eyes!! The same Red Brown eyes!

Lance walked back and forth in front of the two captives.
He had brought them down to one of the basement telepath
training rooms.  The whole room was made out of one way
glass, to the captives they saw mirrors.  The ceiling was
mirror, the walls and the floors.  They were cuffed on two
steel chairs.  Two Guards stood by the entrance.

There was a knock at the door.

"Come in." Lance said.

Yulia came in the room, her grey blue eyes alight with
power. Power that had everyone in the room shiver. "Where's
Vallar?" Lance asked

"He is here, just not in this room." Yulia replied
serenely.

"Gees lady you sure know how to spook people out" Lance
said respectfully

"I'll take that as a compliment. Now, shall we begin?"

A wave of fear swept over the two captives faces.

Yulia paced herself in the one on her right.  She looked
him in the eye and placed her hand on his forehead as her
eyes closed. A humming noise began. This went on for about
5 minutes, Yulia opened her eyes, a content look on her
face. She took her hand off his forehead and walked over to
the other captive.  He was shaking badly, almost
as if he had hypothermia.

"Shit Yulia! What the hell did you do that guy!" Lance
looked at the guy she had finished with, he had a slack
look on his face, almost as if he had just had heroin or
something pumped in him, his eyes were glazed and contained
a dreamlike state on them.

"I did nothing.  Vallar did." She said with a smile on her
face.

Lance shuffled his face uncomfortably.

Yulia then turned back to the other captive and placed her
hand on his forehead. She closed her eyes.
As soon as she had done this she was shocked back, her eyes
wide open and a shocked look on her face. The guards helped
Yulia back up as Lance screamed in fright.
"This is some sick shit man, what the fucks going on!" The
captive looked calm an undisturbed, but his eyes had gone
black.

Just then the door sprung open.  Vallar stormed in with his
eyes ablaze. He grabbed the captive and throttled him
yelling.
"WHO TAUGHT YOU THAT! WHO TUAHGT YOU THAT, HOW DID YOU COME
ACROSS A SHADOW AWAKENING!"

The scene had everyone else in the room shocked.  Daniel
then walked in grabbing his lover around the waist pulling
him back. Vallar was thrashing at Daniel trying to get back
at him.  Daniel then whispered something in Vallars ears,
at once he was calm.
"Babe, we need to start training further." Vallar said as
he stormed out the room.

Veketh was bored.  He had just finished making a new batch
of primo panini's when Vallar stormed in.
"He V, what's up?" Veketh asked Vallar
"Could I have a Grande Tazo Chai?" Vallar said sourly "Sure
that's $4.80, go sit down I'll bring it to you."

A couple of minutes later Veketh appeared with a Tazo Chai
and Mochachino in his hand.
He sat down with his mate looking at him with concern. "You
look like you just cheated on Daniel."

Vallar gave a small chuckle and said "No, we just came
across a new dangerous possibility."

"Really? A new Kama Sutra position?" With that they both
laughed out loud.

"No, not yet anyway." Vallar paused, composing himself for

the next question.

"Veketh?"

"Yes?"

"Have you had your awakening yet?" Vallar asked.

"No, not yet, I don't see the point, it's a choice right?
I know my Element, well, I'm sure I'm Water...or Earth,
either of the two. Why?"

"The Hidden one still hasn't been found." Vallar said
religiously

"Well from what I've studied at Uni there's supposed to be
a decoy, not only that, no one knows who the hidden one is
till he or she has been awakened."
He took a sip of his Mochachino then carried on. "That's
why the Masters have been pushing for all those who are
even slightly aligned with an Element to come
forward and apply for an awakening.  It's stupid really.
They make it sound like applying for a car License!"
He took another sip of his Mochachino then went further.
"The Hidden one will have a most extraordinary awakening,
it states that a new Archaic Power will come into
alignment, one that will shock many, a Power that has been
around for centuries yet never properly used." Veketh
finished, looking satisfied with his knowledge.

"A new power.." Vallar said Distantly
