Sorry about the delay guys its taken a little bit to get this part started,
chapters should be coming out more frequently now that everyone is in place
enjoy.

Chapter 3

Luke looked around the big hall and saw the pack gathered for the first
time, he could feel their acceptance of him as one of their own.  He felt
Tony's hand take his, this simple gesture wasn't even looked at twice in
the pack, Jerry had told him that there were many homosexual mates in the
packs due to the far fewer number of females born.  Jerry had also told him
that the Crystal Moon pack very rarely changed anyone, Jerry had said that
if a pack member was sure that the human thy found would be there mate they
could ask Alpha Linda if they could perform the change.  In the short time
that Linda had been Alpha she had not been asked, David would be the first
to be changed by the pack.  Luke squeezed Tony's hand reassuring the
smaller teen telling him everything would be fine.

Linda entered the hall with Gary a step behind her, Jerry and Ben flanked
the pair, the crowd parted for the Alpha family.  Linda stopped in front of
Tony she smiled softly at him and brushed his face with the back of her
hand tilting his bowed head up to look her in the eye.  "Do not worry so
little one, your place with us is assured, our only hope is for David to
join us", Tony nodded once bowing his head again.  All present knew that
the fear that Tony felt was very real, to be changed was not a guarantee,
there was a high chance that David would die.

The Alpha family stoped at the front of the hall, Linda stood on the small
stage and looked out at her pack smiling warmly.  "My friends and family in
recent days we have gained two potential lines that will be confirmed with
the coming full moon", she gestured toward Tony and Luke.  "This is not why
we are here today though, there has been a request made by the sorcerer
David to the Alpha mate Gary".  There was murmuring among the pack, Linda
waited for quiet, "Given the circumstances surrounding Sorcerer David I
have granted the request.  Firstly I must make the pack aware that in doing
this Alpha mate Gary may gain yet another mate, something that is unheard
of.  Now we all know and understand the bond that exists between my mate
and my brother, however my mate and the sorcerer also have an existing
bond.  It is a form of purely male sorcerer magic that joins two individual
together, it is known as a warrior bond.  We currently don't know what will
happen to this bond when David is changed, if the pack has a disagreement
with Alpha Mate Gary continuing with the request now is the time to voice
them there will be no other opportunity to do so".

The hall was silent, as a pack the Crystal Moon pack were trained to
nurture and strive for growth, the pack could see the advantage to having
another sorcerer among them.  "Then let us proceed, David approach and
receive the moon goddesses gift".  David approached the stage from the left
as Gary approached from the right, "David do you voluntarily stand before
the pack wishing to join us understanding that all past loyalties come
second to the pack".  David nodded once, "So let it be", as she spoke the
doors to the hall opened and the pack moved out to a large field.  When the
pack had entered the hall it had been early evening now it was fully dark.

The pack was silent as they formed a lose circle around a large fire pit,
David could hear the rhythmic beating of a drum.  He saw Linda light the
huge fire with a flick of her wrist, he watched as Gary, Ben and Jerry all
got undressed.  The three were good looking men, the large strong builds of
Gary and Jerry and the slimmer more athletic of Ben would have been very
arousing if the three hadn't started to shift.  David had been told that
the only way to give him the moon goddesses gift was while they were in the
hybrid form somewhere between man and beast.  The three men grew fur and
short blunt snouts with sharp teeth, they were truly scary.  The three
howled and approached David, they were both frightening and magnificent.
The three sniffed the air and turned as one on David, Gary had told him
that the hybrid form was the most animalistic and would react strongly to
his presence in among the pack.  The three started to fight each other for
what their animal minds saw as the prize.  Ben was easily beaten by the
other pair, without his magic he was no match for the larger werewolves.
The fight between Gary and Jerry was bad, both were bleeding by the end of
it, Jerry was beaten but only just Gary stood ready to collapse.  However
his beast mind still wanted his prize.

Gary pulled David to him licking at the soft flesh on his shoulder he
howled and then sunk his teeth in clamping his jaw shut.  David screamed,
he had not felt so much pain in a long time it shocked him that Tony had
managed to ignore his own bite.  However Tony had, had his power flowing
through him which David did not, David reached for his power and gasped in
relief as his natural abilities took over.  It wasn't until he heard quiet
sobbing that he realized that Gary had let him go, not only that Gary had
shifted back to his human form.  There was cheering from the pack, Gary
looked into David's blue eyes, "I'm so sorry we couldn't tell you".  David
nodded once before he sat heavily on the ground, no one had told him that
they would fight for the prize of changing him.

Gary turned suddenly and went to Ben, recalling he had hit his Beta mate;
he looked down at the bruised and bloody forms of both Jerry and Ben.
Linda walked up behind him, "You knew it would be bad", he nodded as she
took her mate into her arms.  Gary was a big man; this did not stop him
from sobbing into his mate hair, "It will be alright Gary, they knew as
well as you".  David watched the pair and felt Linda cast a healing spell,
within moment the two badly injured men were healing rapidly as was Gary.
David was amazed he had seen some of the strongest healers, struggle to do
half of what Linda just did with little preparation or thought.

Jerry was the first to wake, he looked around disorientated until he saw
the savage bite on David, "I guess Gary won", Ben giggled from his position
next to him, which made Jerry pull his mate into a hug.  "Did you really
think it would go any other way", Jerry laughed, Ben was right, and with
Linda there, there had been little chance of any of them killing each
other.  That thought alone made his laughter fade, "How close", he couldn't
finish his question, Gary wouldn't look at either of them.  "Had it been
any worse we would have two funerals to attend", was all Linda said.

Most of the pack had shifted and ran off leaving the Alpha family and the
new members of the pack alone.  David had managed to pull himself together
and was now stood with Luke and Tony; Tony had managed to stop the
bleeding.  Linda approached the three, all of which bowed their heads
acknowledging her position as Alpha, "David look at me".  David raised his
head and looked Linda in the eye; he felt a warmth and acceptance, he felt
safe secure and like he belonged.  David couldn't help it the tears flowed
down his face; he had not felt so welcome and safe in over fifty years.
David felt strong arms wrap around him, he lent back into Gary, he tested
his bond with him and smiled to himself.  Linda saw the contented smile on
David's face, "another one Gary, really what's a women supposed to do".
David looked shocked and then scared as he tried to pull out of Gary's
arms, Gary just held him tighter.  "Don't worry at it; we always suspected
that it would change, as you know it wasn't all that different from our
natural mate bond.  And before you think of breaking it don't, it may still
have the same effect as the warrior bond".

David took in all that Linda said and frowned he had not really thought
about the warrior bond that much, but apparently Linda had.  "Your right it
has changed due to my changing, but we don't know how much it has changed
yet, I'm sorry Alpha this must make your own relationship difficult".
Linda laughed, "Not really, Gary always comes to me first, and you my
friend are at the bottom of his list, unless you want to fight Ben for the
position of Bata mate".  David didn't miss the threat, if he wanted to
challenge either Linda or Ben for their positions with Gary he was welcome
to.  "Don't magic man; they won't hesitate to kill you", David went tense
in Gary's arms as his mate spoke, "And don't worry I've got a lot of love
to give".  David relaxed back into Gary realising the truth of what he had
said.

Linda smiled at the pair, she inhaled and caught the distinct aroma of the
pairs arousal, "If you hurry you will have time, just don't keep us all
waiting to eat".  Gary grinned at her, surprisingly David felt his face go
red, "And maybe later we could all get to know each other better".  Linda
lent forward and brushed her lips against David's smiling at him
seductively, both men groaned as the smelt Linda's own arousal.  Linda
laughed and walked over to Tony and Luke.

Tony watched as David turned in Gary's arms starting to kiss the other man,
"We should leave them be, neither will be happy until they finish".  Linda
indicated for the boys to head back toward the hall, both were surprised to
see that the hall was now set up for a large feast.  "Now I would like to
explain a few things to you both mainly about the ritual you just witnessed
as I understand it you were both turned unwillingly".  The pair nodded as
Linda indicated they should sit down, "I will admit the ritual is brutal,
however it is tradition and some traditions are still followed".  Linda
went on to explain that for most pack wolves the hybrid form was
distasteful, however that they would both be shown how to take that form.
Tony was surprised he had not known that pack wolves didn't like the hybrid
form, or that the only to change someone was to bite them while in the
hybrid form.

David felt his new connection to Gary and the pack; it was a warmth and
security he had never really felt in his life.  "Was Alpha Linda serious",
he whispered taking in the new scent he was getting from Gary, Gary nodded
once biting gently at David's neck.  David pushed into Gary grinding his
hard cock against the other mans; it wasn't long before Gary had David
pressed against a tree biting at him hungrily letting his need known.
David rapped his legs around Gary letting the other man hold him knowing
that Gary was strong enough to hold him.  Somehow the pair ended up lying
down in the dirt not really caring, Gary was rimming David and stretching
his tight sphincter with his fingers.  David had, had sex with Gary before
with the warrior bond, it was nothing compared to the mate bond.  David
could feel the pleasure Gary was getting from making David ready, all too
soon Gary decided that David was ready, he pushed the red heads legs up
over his shoulders lifting David to make it easier for him to penetrate.
David gasped as Gary entered him, Gary lent forward and kissed him, David
was feeling overwhelmed, his new senses were sending his pleasure into
overdrive.

Gary bit David again as he thrust further into him; he ran his hands over
the other man finishing at David's hard shaft.  Gary was pleased to find it
dripping with pre, the only disappointment was he couldn't bend and lick
the other mans cock clean; Gary stroked it and gently thrust into David.
Gary knew that David was no fan of ruff sex and appreciated the gentleness
after the fighting he had, had to do.  It wasn't long before both men knew
it was time with a final thrust Gary howled something David had never seen
him do before, but knew it was due to pleasure.

Linda smiled as she listened to her mate howl; she wasn't concerned with
Gary picking up another lesser mate, the man was right he had a lot of love
to give.  She turned her attention back to the teens, which both looked a
bit pale at the howl no doubt the ones who had turned them had howled as
well.  "I believe that means that Gary has finished if you take my
meaning", both boys blushed knowing what the men had been up to.

3 weeks later

All three went through their first shift easily with the help of the pack,
they were told to shift often and not to fight it while in the pack lands.
They were also told that the moon did play a role in shifting however if
they shifted often it would not be a problem as they would feel the signs
and if they were smart would just shift for a few hours and then go back to
normal.  The biggest change was for Luke; Linda had taken him aside and had
told him that his family thought he had died in the attack.  At first he
had not taken it well as was expected, however the longer he was with the
pack the more he saw why they had done it, the secret of the pack was to be
kept at all costs.

Luke sat by a creek not really thinking of anything but knowing he was
brooding, he felt Tony approach.  He didn't really understand why he was
able to feel where Tony was or how the other teen was feeling.  Both had
thought that their relationship would develop after their first shift but
somehow it had become strained.  Tony sat beside Luke, "I'm sorry you never
asked for all this", Luke shook himself and looked at the other teen.  He
sighed and pulled Tony to him, kissing the smaller teen without a word it
was what both of them wanted.  "It's ok, I'm just getting used to losing my
family and getting a new one".  Tony smiled he knew what Luke was saying
the pack were very protective of the pair, it was almost as if the pack
were trying to make up for what the strays had done.

"How are they", David turned at the sound of Gary's voice, he had stayed
far enough away for the teens not to sense him.  "They are adjusting, it is
hardest on Luke, Tony gained much by becoming pack", Gary pulled the
smaller man into his arms.  David went willingly, he had found that it was
rare that he got Gary to himself and when he did he treasured every moment.
"Your sad, why", Gary asked; David shook his head marvelling at how easy
Gary could read him, "It's nothing".  Gary held David tighter knowing it's
what the other man needed.

Tony watched Jerry and Luke spar; he enjoyed watching the pair practice, in
the short time that they had been part of the pack Tony had seen Luke's
body develop.  Luke had always been a big boy but now he appeared to have
grown taller and packed even more muscle on his frame.  David sat beside
Tony and nudged him, "He's nice to watch but if I'm not mistaken don't you
have a lesson with an Alpha that doesn't like to be kept waiting".  Tony
stood still watching Luke, David was right; Linda had started to help him
with his magic, in particular healing.  "Yes, I was just", David laughed
and shoved the teen toward the house, "She knows what you were doing, now
go before she has to come find you herself rather than getting Gary to get
me to find you".  Tony laughed as he started to run to the house, he knew
the Alpha would not truly be angry with him, Linda just liked to put on a
show.

As he reached the house Tony felt a chill, the chill was felt among the
pack, Tony shrugged it off as nothing as did most of the pack.  Leo woke
with a start; he had been very weak after his capture and had only recently
started to gain his full strength.  Bridget looked over at him startled by
his sudden movement, "Master Leo is all well", Leo cast his senses out
searching for what had disturbed him ignoring Bridget.  Bridget sat and
waited with her twin brothers waiting for the head of their coven to tell
them what was wrong.

The alpha family sat in one of the large sitting rooms, enjoying each
other's company, Jerry and Ben had informed Linda they would be returning
to Brisbane soon and were now sat playing cards with Linda and David.  The
teens were quietly making out on a lounge the adults chose to ignore them;
it was common practice in the pack.  Gary stood apart gazing out the window
he felt unsettled, he had felt unsettled since the afternoon and was unsure
as to why.  Ben walked over to him, "What's wrong", he asked as he brushed
Gary's arm, Gary turned to his beta mate and sighed, "I'm honestly not
sure, it just feels as if something is wrong".  Ben hugged him, Gary
squeezed him back tightly, "Linda has been hearing the same thing from all
the crystal mages ever since this afternoon, none of you seem to sure of
what the problem is though".

Leo gasped, the thing had sucked him in, he still had no idea what it was,
only that it was unstable and a threat to the pack that sheltered him and
his coven.  "Where is the Alpha", Bridget scent her own senses out,
"Don't", Leo commanded as she frowned and was about to investigate the
unstable disturbance.  "They would be in the big living room where they
always are at this time of night", one of the twins spoke.  "Bridget check
on the little ones", Bridget nodded and vanished as Leo did the same, he
only hoped he wasn't too late.

"Do we need to get a bucket of cold water for you pair?", the room filled
with laughter at Bens comment to the boys.  Ben had also conjured a bucket
of water as he spoke, the pair separated and glared at the innocently
smiling man.  Tony frowned seeing a pulsing like light appear between them.
Jerry saw it and leapt into action pushing Ben away from it; the light grew
and seemed to suck the warmth out of the room.  "Jerry get away", Ben
yelled, Gary tried to contain whatever the threat was, and Linda readied
her own spells.  "Don't it's just absorbing the magic", Linda nodded Gary
frowned and thought of containing it in crystal.  Each time he tried the
power to make the crystal was sucked away.

Leo appeared in the room realising he was too late, he saw the light
pulsing and covering the teens and Jerry.  He used the same trick he had
used to free his mind, instead of fighting it he cut it off from the power
it was drawing from around the room.  Those left in the room looked at each
other in stunned silence, "Nooooo", Ben cried he was the first to break the
silence, "Where is he", Ben turned on Leo.  Leo backed away from the
clearly distressed wolf and shook his head, not knowing what to say, he had
hoped the three would return after the light was gone.

"That magic is forbidden, gateways are unpredictable and it's imposable to
know where they lead to, someone has fucked up big time".  It was David
that spoke, he looked pissed, he had read about gateways or tears or rifts
or whatever other name they had been called.  Ben turned on him, "Open it",
David paled, "Open it now".  Ben advanced on David, Ben looked at Gary for
help, it was however Linda who stopped Ben.  "That's enough Ben, they are
fine for the moment as you well know", Ben's shoulders slumped it was true
he could still sense Jerry, he just felt so far away.  Gary pulled the
smaller man into his arms; Ben buried his head in Gary's chest and cried he
had never felt so far away from Jerry.  "David do you know anything else",
Linda asked gently, David shock his head, "Then I believe it is time we
payed the sorcerer council a visit, this is the second time their people
have interfered with my pack, and it's time they learnt not to".  Linda
gazed around the room everyone their silently nodded excepting the Alphas
course of action.

David had spoken to a contact and had informed Linda that the council of
sorcery would be in full attendance due to some kind of change in council
leadership.  Linda had smiled, it wasn't a pleasant smile, it was the smile
of a hunter setting out to catch it's pray.  Gary watched his mate get
ready she wore a pair of tight black jeans and a very pretty top, her hair
had been left to flow freely down her back, on her feet she wore six inch
heel boots also black.  Gary wore black jeans and a long sleeved shirt,
Linda had insisted, she had also made it clear he was to wear his crystals
on top of his clothes.

"Is Ben ok", Gary nodded, he had left Ben to get ready the younger man had
cried himself to sleep and had woken looking ready to fight.  "He and David
will meet us down stairs, as will the other eight", Linda nodded and put
her brush down.  Gary looked at his mate sensing why she was the Alpha, she
may not have been physically strong she did however have other strengths
and intelligence and would fight for her pack.  "We will get them back",
Linda spoke softly almost to herself; "Those bitches will pay".

Linda looked around the hall, the council chambers were hidden in a large
building, she had only been inside the chambers the once and frankly had
not wanted to return. They ad timed their arrival just as the first piece
of business was to be discussed; there was shocked silence as the twelve
werewolves appeared.  The head of the council had just called the council
to order, "What is the meaning of this beasts are not to be present".  The
twelve werewolves turned to the head councillor, "Perhaps you should first
ask yourselves how we are here, before you worry about us being present
here", Linda spoke quietly but with all the strength and power of an Alpha.
"Take a seat old woman we will make this as brief and painless as
possible", the council gasped and started murmuring amongst its self.
"Silence", Linda didn't shout there was no need her voice carried
throughout the chamber, "For the most part we don't interfere with you, and
yet some among you have taken it upon yourselves to interfere with my
pack".

The doors to the council chamber opened with a bang, Linda turned and
smiled a deadly smile filled with hate.  "Let me guess, my dear aunt is to
be the new member of your high council, needless to say my first question
is answered".  Gary turned and looked at the striking women that had
entered there was definitely a resemblance between her and Linda.  Gary saw
Ben stiffen clearly he had not known about the aunt, taking a look at the
women Gary could tell why Linda had not mentioned her.  "Well, well if it
isn't the Alpha of the naughty pack that decided to meddle with things they
don't understand.  Of course if you and yours were true sorcerers you would
have known not to play with gateways, what happened niece did you lose your
mate"?

Gary growled as did most others it was however Ben who reacted, Ben reached
out with raw power and seized the women holding her tightly in place.  "No,
it was my mate and two young pack members that you're little experiment
trapped, we require all the information that this pathetic little group has
on gateways and we want it now".  The collective sorceresses attacked, it
wasn't unexpected, and that was why half the wolves were crystal mages.
The mages constructed a reflective shield, the more spells the sorceresses
threw at them the more bounced back at them effectively they were fighting
themselves.

"I would stop before this gets truly ugly, you only have injured at the
moment let's not make it dead, Ben let our dear aunt go we will get the
information we require".  Linda looked around the hall and saw the council
nodding, "And next time you want to mess around with my pack we will kill
each and every one of you, you have all been warned".  Linda glared at her
aunt knowing that women had been the one that had opened the gateway.
