Linda looked at her twin boys sleeping; both had mops of dark brown hair like their father. Amy watched her Alpha watching her nephew's sons. "You are worried", Amy made her statement like a question. Linda nodded it had only been two days since Gary and the others left, close to three weeks since Jerry and the boys had been gone. "Is it the dream again", Linda nodded again she had told no one except Amy about the strange dream she had spoken to Tony in. Bridget stoped at the entrance to the nursery. She had come to speak with Linda; as usual there were six guards the twins were never alone. "You can come in Bridget", Linda turned and smiled at the vampire. Bridget smiled; she and Linda had been friends for years. The two women embraced each other. "Leo is concerned", Bridget stated without hesitation. Unknown to both Leo had followed Bridget keeping to the shadows. He had trusted Bridget to seek out the Alpha. Amy growled softly alerting Linda that something was wrong. Stalking to the corner Amy reached out her had focusing on her shadow crystal. She pulled Leo from the shadows, two of the others had also moved toward the corner. Leo was startled he had not known that any other than Gary had been trained to use a shadow crystal. "Not being on the best of terms with most vampires Gary felt it was best that others learnt your tricks". Linda spoke without even turning to face the now agitated Leo. "He was always a smart boy, and I should know better than to try and be unseen in this pack". Linda turned and smiled at the vampire, another of her mates many male lovers. Leo managed to keep a calm face, truth be told he was a little intimidated by Linda even at his age. In all the years he had walked the world he had never met a sorceress with as much raw power. And as an Alpha she was unmatched. Combined into this one small woman it was scary. Linda laughed; Leo was not as good at hiding things as he thought. "Why are you concerned? Leo". Leo watched the Alpha he had not been sure how to bring up his concerns with the Alpha. However Linda had given him the opportunity. Leo sighed there was no point avoiding this any longer. "I'm old, one of the oldest to be honest", Linda nodded remaining silent indicating that Leo should continue. "It was my master who past this information on to me, she said that it was important that someone always knew. She went onto explain a few things that I know the wolf packs have forgotten. I'm unsure what the sorcerers have recorded. However she explained we aren't from this world". Leo went on to explain that werewolves, vampires and sorcerers were from another world much like this one. He explained that the first group to be exiled were the humans with power the sorcerers. The next were the vampires as they had been strong allies with the sorcerers and many of them were sorcerers. Last had been the werewolves. From what Leo had been told they were the hardest to exile to this world. The reason being that magic always bread true in them. From the last report or word from the other world there were still a number of male packs. The females had already been exiled or killed. In an effort to ensure that werewolves continued on the other world one of their sorcerers changed a group of smaller males. Thus the omegas were created; omegas were males that could bread with other males. "The final communication my mistress received was that the remaining packs had come to some kind of truce with the other werecreatures". Leo took a deep breath as he finished speaking. Linda stood and walked over to her children she gently kissed them both not waking them. "Guard them with your lives", the six guards nodded once at their Alphas command. Linda swept out of the room and strode down the hall Amy following close behind. Bridget looked at Leo who shrugged, the pair followed. Linda entered the work room with the portal; Linda gave the two men watching the portal commands. "Summon the Batas and three hunting parties". Amy looked at Linda worriedly, "Alpha I must insist that you do not do this, not in your current condition". Leo and Bridget both looked at Linda in surprise. "It is still early and this must be done", Amy nodded as the pack doctor she had the right to question Linda at least once about medical issues. "Will you be telling the Batas", Linda looked away and shock her head. "There is no need to worry them". ............. Tony was walking with the greater Alpha. He could sense the man's power and was curious about it. In the two weeks he and the others had been at the keep he had, had no opportunity to speak to the Greater Alpha alone. "They know don't they", the Greater Alpha nodded. Tony frowned but let it go. David had always told him that his questioning of others would get him in trouble. "Could you explain the omegas to me, how were they created?" The old Alpha looked at the young pup and smiled at his curiosity. "I'm afraid that is as much a mystery to me as it is you. The legend says that only the smallest of men were chosen for the roll of omega as they were not suited to that of a warrior. If you were born here you too would be an omega". Tony nodded. It was not the first time that he had been thought of as one of the omegas. "Do you think it was the moon goddess, and do you think it's passable she changed me when I was at the sister moon temple"? The Greater Alpha looked at Tony sharply. He studied the young pup with what power he had. Tony groaned as he saw the surprised look on the old Alphas face. He had suspected that something had changed in him. "I thought so, I could feel it", Tony looked away. The Greater Alpha patted the young omegas shoulders. "I suppose I should at least tell Luke". Tony looked at the old Alpha. "Thank you for confirming what I already suspected". The greater Alpha nodded and watched as the omega left. .......................................... Tony sat on the bunk he shared with Luke and sighed. He had forgotten that Kevin had invited them out on a hunting party. Luke and Jerry had gone. Tony regretted that he had decided not to. Tony looked up as he heard a happy humming from the doorway. It was Trent, a very happy almost glowing Trent. He watched as Trent swayed his way over to him. "Why so glum"? Trent asked as he sat down next to Tony. Tony looked at the omega. They were disturbingly similar in height and build. Tony decided that Trent was probably one of the best people to confide in. "I spoke to the Greater Alpha today. He confirmed what I had suspected for the few days". Trent raised one elegant eyebrow. "He confirmed that when I was in the moon goddess's temple I was changed into an omega". Trent looked shocked for a moment. He lent into Tony and smiled it was true. Trent could no smell the distinctive sent of omega on Tony. "Well at least you already have an Alpha and are claimed by him". Tony frowned not sure what Trent meant. "Luke is your mate yes, no one will come between that. And just think now you can do something more for Luke". Tony continued to frown not sure what Trent meant still. "You can bare him pups silly". Tony sat stunned his mind had not worked its way that far into the concept of him being an omega. "What, no, how can that be". Trent Laughed and went on to explain. That now that Tony was an omega he would go into heat twice a year. And that if he had unprotected sex with his Alpha he would most likely become pregnant. Trent also explained that it would be difficult for any other Alpha to do the same. So Tony didn't have to worry about another Alpha trying to breed him. Tony looked at Trent confused for a moment. "Wasn't that what Kevin was doing", Trent nodded. "He wasn't having a lot of luck with it though, and now it doesn't matter". Tony grinned as he realised what his friend was saying. He hadn't noticed it before. However now he could definitely smell and sense that Trent was a claimed omega or mated to Kevin. "Well it was no doubt time he pulled his head out of his ass and claim you". Trent laughed and then went on to explain other things Tony would need to know. .................................... Jerry stopped mid stride and howled in pleasure. Ben had come, that meant the pack knew a way of getting them back. Kevin turned and looked at Jerry as did Luke. The three changed back so they could talk. "They found away to get here", Jerry said grinning at Luke. Luke wanted to howl in his own excitement, there was a way back to the pack. Kevin looked confused for a moment. "You mean your Alpha is here now". Jerry shook his head still grinning. Brock walked up to his confused Alpha. "My guess is his mate is here", Jerry nodded confirming what Brock said. Kevin smiled at the pair. "Do you want to go to them first or collect Tony"? It was clear that Jerry wanted to go to Ben immediately. Jerry sighed he knew what they had to do. "We go back for Tony, and hopefully leave with the other members of our pack". Kevin nodded his agreement as he signalled his pack to return to the keep. ........................................ Tony was still sat on his and Luke's bunk when Jerry, Luke, Kevin and Brock burst in. Trent had left to do whatever it was that Trent did. Kevin and Brock frowned as they entered the barracks and looked at Tony. "He didn't smell like that when he first arrived", Kevin said as they approached Tony. "No he now smells like and omega not just looks like one". Brock agreed with his Alpha. Jerry and Luke looked at Tony a little confused. Tony stood and smiled, "It seems that my little trip into the moon goddess's temple has changed me more than we first thought. Apparently I'm the first omega of our pack". Luke looked at his mate in stunned silence for a moment. He then grinned and pulled Tony into a tight hug. "I take it that this means you don't mind". Luke laughed and held Tony tightly. Jerry watched the pair and grinned. "No Tony to me this is perfect I always wanted kids and thought we would have to have to adopt or something. Now you're telling me you can have kids". Tony smiled up at his mate. "Well now that, that's settled are you guys ready to go". Tony looked at Kevin sharply not sure what was going on. "Jerry sensed his mate close by. I'm guessing your pack has found you a way home". Tony smiled hardly believing what he was hearing. A way home was even better than Luke excepting the change in him. ................................ Gary, Ben and David had been following Ben's instincts. Unsurprisingly it lead to a large town and keep. David's attention was automatically drawn to the keep. "There is a spell of some kind on the keep". Gary frowned and nodded his agreement as did Ben. Gary studied the keep for a time and then grinned to himself. "Its keyed to you pairs kind of magic not mine". Ben and David agreed with Gary's assessment of the spell. "You should go in alone and find out what's going on", David said. Gary nodded. He kissed both his mates and then stepped into the shadows. "That always gives me the creeps when I see one of them do that", Ben shuddered. David had to agree, it wasn't natural to see anyone become one with the shadows. "True but he is far safer in the shadows then walking around for all to see". Ben nodded his agreement. A clothed Gary was bad enough. When he was walking around naked he really did draw to much attention to himself. "Jerry is in the keep I can feel it". David looked at the clearly eager Ben and smiled. ......................................... Gary entered the keep easily enough. He had been picking up on a strange scent coming from some of the smaller males. He had also noted the complete absence of any female werewolves. As he had entered the keep he had felt a number of spells try to detect and negate his power. However as he had said to the others the spells weren't designed for crystal magic. Using his bond with Ben he was able to locate Jerry. Jerry was stood with another Alpha and Beta. Luke was hugging Tony. Tony smelt different like those other little males. Jerry stopped talking and turned to where Gary stood. "You know Gary I can use the same trick to sense you". Kevin looked to where Jerry had spoken. There was the sound of a deep laugh coming from nowhere. "I wasn't trying to hide from you Jerry". Kevin was amazed as one of the largest most beautiful men stepped straight out of the shadows. Kevin could sense the man's power. He was an Alpha in his own right. "Alpha mate", Luke let go of Tony as Tony went to hug the man. Gary pulled Tony to him and took a deep breath. "You have changed somehow", Tony looked down and nodded. "Look at me Tony, I didn't say it was a bad change just a change, tell me". Tony straightened his shoulders and looked at the second most powerful member of his pack. "I'm what is called an omega here. It means I can have pups". Gary was clearly surprised. He grinned down at his mates apprentice, which reassured Tony. "All the more reason for us to get you home where you will be safe". Tony had pulled away from Gary when the barracks door was blown open by a tigress. "We have tolerated the presence of the three unknown. However we cannot tolerate this one. He possesses the skills of the living dead". Gary glared at the women, it was clear she was some sort of mage, probably one of the ones responsible for monitoring the spells on the keep. "How very astute of you to notice my skills. However you can surly not be dumb enough to think I am a Vampire. This room being bathed in sunlight and all". The tigress looked unsure for a moment. "It would be well within your power to protect yourself from the sun light". Gary had to give her credit she knew what she was talking about. "The rest of your party is being collected now". Gary took a deep breath realizing that he had no way out of doing as he was told. "You will be executed at dawn. The others will remain in the pack keep until we are sure they are not as you". The men that had come in with the tigress clamped some kind of irons on his wrists. Gary knew without being told that they would prevent him from shifting and using magic. ............................................. Linda felt it the instant Gary got into trouble. She had known it would only be a matter of time. She turned to the three hunting parties. Each consisted of a Bata and eleven warriors. Each party had a crystal mage as well as a number of other mages. "Now we don't really know where we are going or what we may face when we get there. However six of our pack are in trouble. And as such it is our responsibility to rescue them. I f rescue is not an option we make our unknown enemy pay. Am I understood"? A course of yes Alpha filled the room. "Very well let us shift and proceed". Linda sniffed the area and instantly caught the scent of her mate and brother. With a howl that was echoed around the clearing the pack ran. ................................................... Gary felt it the instant his mate stepped through to this world. His guards looked concerned when they saw him smiling. "What have you got to smile about mutt", Gary just grinned and turned his attention to his restraints. They prevented most magic and his ability to shift. However he could still use a small amount of his power. Concentrating he was able to move small parts of them into the realm of shadows where he cast them away. It was a slow process however a rewarding one. The cuffs power was destroyed without any damage appearing on them. Gary smiled to himself as he cast his mind out looking for where the spells that protected the keep were located. He was not surprised to find them anchored to the keep by a large crystal. Crystals could be used by everyone as a power source, or an anchor. Both David and Linda had told him that although relatively easy to do it was a waste of a crystal. Now all he had to do was wait when the time was right he would shatter the crystal. ........................................................... Ben sat up. He had been resting his head on Jerry's shoulder. He and David had been dumped in the same chamber as Jerry, Luke, Tony, Kevin, Brock and Trent. He laughed softly, Jerry frowned at him. "My sister is pissed", David nodded his agreement. "Will your men follow you against the other werecreatures"? Ben asked Kevin, who had been soothing Trent. Trent had not taken it well being dragged out of his chamber and dumped here. "My men are sick of being treated like shit for being what we are. So yes they will follow". David nodded, "Good you don't want to piss of our Alpha". Kevin frowned and looked over at Brock who shrugged his shoulders. "If my sister gets too worked up she is going to level this place and kill everyone that stands in her way. That charming individual they want to execute is her mate". Kevin understood what the others were saying. "Is she as strong as you say she is", Ben nodded. "Then my men will probably follow her without any instruction from me. I'd say they would just follow an Alpha's command". Tony looked over at Kevin, "Will the Greater Alpha try to stop her". Kevin thought for a moment and then shook his head. "No I doubt he has the power or strength to face off with your Alpha". The group fell into silence each thinking their own thought. .............................................. Linda looked at the town and Keep. It was just before dawn. Amy appeared beside her Alpha. "Is it the spell that bothers you"? Linda glanced over at the packs doctor and shook her head. Amy didn't say anything just waited for her Alpha to explain. "Gary will take care of that. It's more the timing. I want to get them all out alive". Amy nodded her understanding. "We will be ready at your signal Alpha", Linda nodded and stood up from her crouching position. "Kill any shifter that is not a wolf, leave the humans unless the present as an enemy". Linda shifted and howled giving the signal to charge. ................................................ Gary heard the howls of his pack and grinned. He shattered the crystal and the spells attached to it. He then stood up and looked at his confused guards. "I would run if I were you". Garry vanished into the shadows and reappeared on the other side of the cell bars. "Not so bright are you". He had snapped the necks of his guards before they could raise the alarm. Garry focused on his male mates and headed in their direction. It would not be long before they would all be needed. ...................................................... David sat up as soon as he felt his power return to normal. "Well that feels better", Ben said grinning, Tony nodded his agreement. Kevin looked at the three grinning males. Jerry took pity on him. "My guess is that Gary removed the spells that were draining their power". Kevin nodded his understanding. "I hear howling out in the town, the whole pack is confined to the keep". Trent said clearly confused. "That's not our pack, that's there pack". Trent went to Kevin seeking reassurance. "We should probably get out of here before we get stuck in the keep". Brock said. "I like this chap he has a brain", David laughed as Gary appeared at the door, "Hay magic man". David hugged Gary happy to see that he was unharmed. "Well I know for a fact that my Alpha mate has just about reached the keep. So shell we get going". The others stood up in agreement ready to leave. "Ben can you just take us there", Jerry asked, Ben shook his head, he couldn't move that many people. "We can do it if we work together", David said. The group joined hands and the three sorcerers teleported them from the chamber they were in to the main gate of the keep. On the other side of the main gate stood a short slender but beautiful blonde women. Kevin was stunned at the pure power that was just washing off of her in waves. "Well don't just stand there you lot open the gates". The six men bared their necks and murmured yes Alpha almost sheepishly. ................................................... Linda had been happy that the town had presented no problem. She was not surprised to find the six missing men at the main gates. Now it was time for the hard part getting everyone out safely and alive. "Do you know who is in charge here", Linda directed her question to Gary. Gary shrugged and looked at Kevin. "The tigers are in charge, there is a rather large pack that coexists with us". Linda nodded, Kevin was amazed as the slender women was suddenly fully clothed in some kind of knee length skirt a short jacket and a blouse. And on her feet were a pair of pointed heels that gave the short women an extra five inches in height. "Well come on I don't have all day to prevent bloodshed". "Where are the hunting parties"? Garry asked, Linda smiled at him in a grim way. She looked around the keep before answering. "I left them in the town to ensure the humans were protected". Gary nodded his understanding. A shifter battle was no place for a normal human. "Why did you come, the twins and", Gary looked at Linda's abdomen pointedly. Linda stopped and turned to her mate. "They will need you just as much, and I'm the only way this is going to end without bloodshed". Gary nodded and fell in behind her next to Ben who tried to give him a reassuring smile. Linda knew she was approaching the domain of another powerful Alpha. She was only slightly reassured by the fact that she was stronger. The door to what must have been some kind of throne room or petitions chamber opened. Inside was clearly the Tiger pack, sat in a chair on a raised platform was a large women, with bright orange hair. Linda was only mildly surprised not to see black stripes. Linda strode down the centre of the chamber and stoped before the tiger on her little stage. The extra height was such an obvious intimidation tactic. Linda waited politely for the other alpha to acknowledge that she was the superior. "Look up to your betters mutt", the tiger was feeling bold. Linda drew in a carful breath before levitating herself up onto the little stage. She stood over the tiger and hissed. "Watch your mouth pussy cat or I will relocate it to the other side of your ugly face". There were gasps from the tigers. The tiger Alpha stood, he was much taller and bigger than Linda. "I should think you should watch yours you slutty bitch, how many of them have you let fuck you". Linda was not surprised at the slurs and name calling. All off which had been common place in the past among the packs. Linda laughed, "Only one if you must know. But at least I can carry a pup to term you barren bitch". The tiger suddenly smiled at Linda and laughed. "You are the first to point out my infertility so openly, I like you". Linda smiled and lessened her draw on her power. "I assume you are here for your pack mates". Linda nodded again, "I think we should talk privately don't you". Again Linda nodded. "Very well, we will go to my chambers, you may take". Linda growled softly indicating her disapproval of being told what she could and could not do. "As many of your men as you feel necessary". Linda smiled she turned to Gary. "I will keep all of them with me. Sadly they tend to get in trouble when I am not around to keep an eye on them. Also I feel Kevin, Trent and a man known as the Greater Alpha should join us. Don't you". The Tiger nodded her agreement. It was clear to everyone that Linda would get her way. Kevin just looked at her stunned and amazed at her easy use of power and the amount she had. .................................. The chambers they were taken to were large and tastefully decorated. Linda looked at the men that had come with her. "Leave us to speck gentlemen". It was a pleasant way for Linda to instruct them to be on guard. "Would you like some Tea" the tiger asked, Linda smiled warmly and nodded as she sat in an overstuffed arm chair. "I'd take something stronger if you've got it. This whole mess has been a headache since the boys were transported here in the first place". Linda looked at the tiger watching for any recognition of what she was talking about. "Transported, that explains so many things. Although I had been told that such power had been lost a long time ago". Linda nodded her agreement. "Until recently we had not known of it and frankly I don't care for it". The Tiger looked surprised at Linda's statement. Linda took pity on her. "Sweetie we already have our own lands that we are more than happy with, please don't take this as some kind of invasion. Honestly we don't want to be here anymore than you want us here". At that moment a young tiger bought the tea and served it to the Alphas. Linda smiled at him, which made the poor thing blush. "Incidentally I'm Alpha Linda of the Crystal Moon pack. I wish we had met under better circumstances. However you were about to execute my mate". The tiger looked shocked at Linda's openness. "Don't get me wrong if things here don't go my way I will flatten this Keep and kill you and every member of your pack". Linda smiled sweetly. The Tiger didn't have time to recover before the Greater Alpha was bought in front of them. Linda took one look at him and smiled warmly. "You have done well to keep this pack going against the odds". The Greater Alpha instantly liked the women. "Ok down to business I only really want two things", the tiger who had still not tole Linda her name waited quietly. "I want my men back and any of the other men that would like to join us".
