Chapter 8

It was late by the time Gary pulled up in front of the large three storey
home of the Crystal Moon Pack.  He was not surprised to see that Ben, Linda
and the Alpha all waited for him and Jerry, Jerry had woken when the car
stopped.  Gary laughed as Jerry jumped out of the car and ran to Ben, in
truth he felt like doing the same thing.  However he and Linda showed a
little more restraint then the two males, this was not to say their reunion

looked at his children and smiled he wished he had found a mate as they

"Why didn't you tell me"?  Jerry felt confused and a little hurt that Ben
hadn't told him that he was the son of the pack Alpha.  "It just never
seemed to be the right time to bring it up", Jerry glared, "You don't think
that when I told you I was my packs Alpha elect you may have wanted to tell
me about this".  Ben looked down at his feet; Jerry glared some more before
Jacobi spoke.  "You will have to forgive my son Jerry; he was under
instructions not to tell anyone of his heritage while he was away from the
pack".  Jerry didn't look convinced, "It's true, I was under the same
instructions, if you will recall I told you that Ben was my mate's brother,
I never told you that my mate was our packs Alpha Elect".  Jerry frowned it
was true Gary had never told them his position in the pack either, and yet
they had known his, which made sense now.  Jerry shook his head and hugged
Ben, "It's alright Benny, I was just surprised", Jacobi looked at the boys
and smiled, his son was happy for what seemed like the first time in years.
"Well now that introductions are finished how about we eat", Linda cleared
her throat, her father frowned at her, her response was to roll her eyes.
"As I'm sure you have guessed I'm Linda the packs Alpha Elect", Jerry
smiled and nodded, "Welcome to the family".  Linda hugged Jerry, Jerry took
the opportunity to thank her for what she did, Linda only smiled sadly she
still felt responsible for what happened.

Jerry looked around the dining room; he was surprised that it wasn't more
of a hall like his own packs dining area.  Gary saw him looking around and
explained; "Only five families use this dining room, and the main house",
Jerry frowned, he knew that the Crystal Moon Pack was relatively small but
it needed to be bigger than five families.  Ben answered his unasked
questions, "We have a guest house, and we have the underground living
spaces for the rest of the pack".  Jerry was surprised most packs lived
close to a town and intermingled with the town, now he knew how the Crystal
Moon pack could live so remotely.  "That's impressive none of us had any
clue where you all lived or your actual numbers", Jacobi smiled, and it may
not have been common knowledge however all the Alphas knew.

The meal was a pleasant affair, Jerry found that the Crystal Moon Pack were
friendly and polite not like some of the other packs he had visited, well
the example he had were.  "It would appear that it is time for bed, unless
any would care for a run", Jacobi looked at the younger wolves all of which

Ben looked questioningly at Jerry who smiled and nodded; Ben ran to Jerry

do, you and Gary have more than enough love for two or three".
