Subject: hero in love part 2

well here is part 2 of hero in love. I just realized I forgot the
normal disclaimers and whatever. so you know the drill. if your not
supopsed to be here, don't be.

chapter 2.

	Kyle sat at his computer, surprised at the vid he'd just seen.
apparently one of the troopers in the helicopter had a digital camera
that he kept with him for footage of exciting moments. he'd sold the
clip to the news, and now it was pasted all over the internet. The most
interesting thing about it was that for some reason, Kyle's hair had
gone blonde while he was powered up. that was good for protecting his
identity. and he looked really good in blonde hair.

	then a familiar noise alerted Kyle to the fact that his best
online friend shadow dragon was on.

	Kyle opened a message window and sent dragon a message.

Kyelrogue: Hey!!
shadowdragon:  sup little dude?
Kyelrogue: not much. you?

Shadowdragon: eh, nothing really.  just thinking about people, the
universe, and how boring the united states is

Kyelrogue: did you see that thing with teh space shuttle??
Shadowdragon: Yeah, totally wierd. wonder what it was.

	Kyle shook his head in dis believe. but then again Dragon had
just got on. Kyel copied the link he used for the vid.

Kyelrogue: here. check out this vid an army trooper shot that was
on the copter.

	Kyel pasted the link, and sent it. he wondered what Dragon would
think.  Dragon had been a great friend, giving him advice, and telling
him about gay things. Kyle had been questioning the feelings he'd had
for the guys in his classes and had looked on line. he'd even read
some great story stuff at nifty, and had emailed some authors. most
just wanted to cyber and talk about his sexual exploits, of which he
had none. but a few, like dragon, really wanted to help.

Shadowdragon: A BOY? A BOY DID THAT?

Kyelrogue: Yeah. thats whats going around.

shadowdragon: it could be like digitally done...

Kyelrogue: looks pretty real to me, and cute too.

Shadowdragon: hell yeah. I like the blonde hair too.

	Kyle couldn't help but feel a little better about himself.
Dragon was gay, but he was also a boylover. and while Kyle wasn't sure
exactly who he liked, it did make him feel good to know that Dragon
liked him.

Kyelrogue: I know. but he has dark hair.

Shadowdragon: no he doesn't. its blonde. right there. I mean dark
hair couldn't cause that color in that blue.

Kyelrogue: its dark hair. trust me.
Kyle had wanted to tell someone about his power ever since he'd gotten
it, and Kyle hoped Dragon would be receptive.

Shadowdragon: ok. fine. its dark hair.

Kyelrogue: look. remember how I said Id been going through some stuff
lately?

Shadowdragon: you mean besides the gay stuff?

KyelRogue: yes. I didn't konw how to tell you, but..

Shadodragon: what?

Kyelrogue: well see, I was hiking in hills behind my house when I found
this cave.

Shadowdragon: what did you find?

Kyelrogue: I don't know. I walked in, and then I found myself lying in
the grass, and no cave. something happened.

Shadowdragon: that's creepy.

	Kyle sighed. Dragon didn't believe him. well he probably
wouldn't believe it either.

Kyelrogue: it's ok if you don't believe me *sigh*

Shadowdragon: well, it is hard to believe.

Kyelrogue: I know :(

Shadowdragon: I mean assuming that you did catch teh shuttle, you do
know it enters the atmosphere at Mach 27 right?

Kyelrogue: WHATTTT?????? MACH 27????
huh? there was no way they were going that fast. no way. and no way
he'd managed to catch up to it that fast either.

Shadowdragon: well, it slows down as it enters the atmosphere. so it's
not AS fast. but I don't get how he could stand the heat? you think
that vid is just someone messing with digital photography?

KyelRogue: it's the blue aura thing. thats how it always works. green
lanterns aura. you know. and its not digital photography. I mean how
could they just happen to have something that fits what just happened?

Shadowdragon: I guess so. but still.

Kyelrogue: Im hungry. again. bbs. going to make a sandwich.

Kyle got up feeling really hungry. now that he thought about it, he'd
been eating a lot more lately. Kyled walked to the kitchen, and began
searching the fridge.

	"honey. are you eating again?" asked his mother from down the
hallway.

	"Yes. But I can't help it. Im hungry!!" Kyle whined. it was
true. maybe it was due to this energy thing. he thought after putting
together a sandwich with the left over meat from dinner.

	"just don't make a mess dear." his mother replied. Kyle took
his sandwich back to the computer.

Kyelrogue: I'm back.

Shadowdragon: dun dun dun!

Kyelrogue: :P

Shadowdragon: well I was thinking about this aura thing. maybe
something happened to alter the genome to allow the cells to emit some
sort of emt field.

what? what the crap was that?

Kyelrogue: use Kyle words!!

Shadowdragon: fine. I think something happend to the cells. and they
emit an electromagnetic field. and somehow the brain could direct it.

Kyelrogue: ok. sure. that makes sense.

Shadowdragon: Guess what? I was watching the news, and the government
is still going wild over that video thing. I bet they are like word
searching as hard as possible.

	what? could they really be trying to run searches on all the
buzz that must be going on about this? maybe he needed to think more
about things.

KyelRogue: yeah. hey look, its close to my bedtime, I g2g. cya!!

Shadowdragon: cya

Kyel logged off, and went to his room to think. and there he fell
asleep with thoughts of the government dancing in his head.
