Knight Break
Chapter 2


I awoke to complete darkness, but oddly I was laying in a bed. I sat up and
tried to look around, but all I saw was darkness. I was getting worried
now, what if I had gone blind or something?! I started to feel panic rise
up in me.

"Do not panic." A voice said near me, "I am here to simply give a warning."

Upon hearing the voice I started to worry, who was this person and why are
they giving me a warning? I tried looking at where the voice came from,
hoping to see someone, but all I saw was darkness still.

"Who are you? What do you want?" I said to the space I was looking at.

"Are you sure he can not see me?" The same voice asked someone else, "He is
looking right at me."

"No, my Aura is blocking out his sight." Another voice answered, from a
different area of the room I was in, "He does not yet possess the ability
to disrupt my Aura."

"Ok, well then," The first voice spoke again, "We came to give you a
warning. This warning is; Beware the Blue Maiden of Silver Moon and her
disciples. You are the Black Knight of the Golden Sun."

I got worried as I realized I had two men in my room, though I could tell
that one seemed close to my age, but the other was older.

"What does that mean?" I said, but there was only silence, then suddenly
light flooded back to my senses. I was in my room, the window was open and
no one around, this was getting freaky. I wondered what those people meant
by all that, I dismissed it though.

I went down to find that neither of my parents were home yet, and my little
brother was not home either, most likely at a friends. I flopped on the
couch, still wondering about the weirdness that just happened. I started to
flip through the channels absent mindedly, until I heard a news report.

"The attack happened here," The news reported spoke to the camera as she
showed the scene, "The police are saying that someone is going around
murdering young males. They all are roughly 5'11" with black hair and amber
eyes."

I stared at the TV for a bit, they sounded like me. I fit the discription
of the victims, and that had me worried. Who were the people earlier? Who
was targeting people who looked like me? I was worried and wondered if the
people were actually after me. I also wondered just how many people out
there had eyes like I did. My eyes are called Amber, but really they were
more of a gold color, rather than an amber color.

I just grabbed something to eat quickly and went back to my bedroom and
tried to sleep. The next day I woke up and skipped my jerk session and went
right to school. I was going about all my classes, granted a little
distracted, until I was in my social studies class. I was sititng in my
usual seat, near the back, when the teacher, Mr. Latimer, was interrupted.

"Mr. Latimer?" A teen asked at the door. I looked up and saw this pretty
girl standing there, she looked at the teacher, slightly embarrased at
having interrupted the class.

"Yes, I am he... And you are?" Mr Latimer asked the new girl.

"Oh! I am Alice. I just transferred here. I am sorry, I got lost on the way
here." She said, as she rubbed the back of her head.

"Oh! You're the new kid I heard about. Ok, well... Why not take the seat
near the back, next to Jason." Mr. Latimer said as he pointed at the empty
desk near me.

I sighed, of course he was going to stick the new kid next to me. I rolled
my eyes, as the new kid sat next to me. She glanced at me then back at the
board. I rubbed my temples and groaned inwardly, I liked having this area
to myself.

"Hi, you must be Jason." She said very perkily as she moved her torso to
face me, causing her tits to bounce.

"Yeah, hey." I said boredly, not remotely interested in the meat sacks on
her chest.

"I hope we can be friends." She said as she smiled at me.

"Whatever." I said as I finally looked at her and noticed something on her
shirt, what looked like a button, that looked like a moon. I shrugged again
and went back to doing my school work.

When lunch time came around I went to eat my lunch by my favorite spot. It
was away from everyone else and under a tree so I had shade. I pulled out
my lunch and was eatting when I heard someone approaching. It was that new
girl, Alice, she bounced on over to me while smiling.

"Do you always eat alone?" She said to me.

"Yeah, I rather not be bothered with others." I said as I took a bite of my
sandwhich.

"Good, this will be easier." She said happily.

"What will?" I say as I look up at her confused.

"Killing you!" Alice said with a sneer, she holds up her hands and a white
energy seemed to form at her palm. Instinctively I dodged out of the way
when she fired off the energy, blasting the spot I was at just a few
seconds ago.

"What the fuck?!" I say this as I dash away from the psycho girl as she
fired off shot after shot of weird energy at me.

I was suddenly grabbed from behind as a black energy was fired, hitting the
ground and knocking the girl back. I fell to the ground and when I got my
barrings I looked up and was shocked at was I saw. It was Seth, holding his
hand out, I knew the energy had come from him. He looked down at me and
rolled his eyes.

"Get up, Black Knight." He said as he fired another blast at Alice, "You
need to learn to fight..."

Alice ran away after finding that she was not skilled enough to fight
Seth. I stodd there shocked, this boy saved me with some weird ability. He
picked me up from the ground and frowned at me.

"This is the Black Knight?" He said as he examined me, "Weak."
