Knight Break
Chapter 3


I looked at Seth like he had grown an extra head, which to me he had. I
glared back at him, but I was thankful for being saved. I dusted myself off
and looked at him, just before I could say anything he pulled me away from
the area, dragging me away just as people came running to the scene.

"We have to get you out of here. Now!" Seth said as he dragged me away, "We
have to get you training or else you are going to die."

I yanked my arm away from him as he dragged me behind the bleachers, ugh
this area. He turned to me glaring as he looked me up and down, then he
sighed.

"What are you talking about? What was that about? Why did she attack me?!"
I say these in rapid-fire succession as I grew anxious about what was going
on.

"Ok, well first, I am talking about you learning how to use Aura." He said
to me, "Second, she wanted to kill you, I saved you. Lastly, she attacked
you because you are the Black Knight of the Golden Sun."

"What the fuck is a Black Knight of whatever?!" I yelled at him, "Tell me
now!"

"Black Knight of the Golden Sun. A legendary man with the power of Aura,
his Aura is three different colors, Red, Gold and Black." Seth explained to
me, "They are the leaders of us, the Solar Knights. Another person, a
woman, is also present, the Blue Maiden of the Silver Moon. Her Aura being
Blue, Silver, and White."

I sat there wondering what was going on with my life now. Not long ago I
was just a normal guy, until yesterday. I sighed and rubbed my temples.

"What am I going to do?!" I huffed as I frowned.

"We have to get you drawn from school and taken to be trained in how to use
your Aura." He said.

"How do you guys even know I am this Black Knight?!" I said angrily.

"Because us Solar Knights can tell who is our Leader. Unfortunately we did
not know you WERE our leader until the other day, when your Aura finally
released." He explained to me, "I lived here, monitoring the potential
Black Knights here, but when they came of age, none of them showed any
signs of being our leader. You were my last lead until, either you showed
signs or died."

"You were waiting for me to either showed signs or was killed?!" I yelled,
"Why wait, can't the maidens know?!"

"They can not tell until you are able to use your Aura." He said, "Until
you can use your Aura, you are hidden, but there is one thing that shows
you MAY be the Black Knight."

"What?!" I say this, then the news this morning hit me, "My hair, height
and eyes..."

"Exactly. The Black knight has always had black hair, Golden eyes, and has
always been five foot and eleven inches tall." Seth tapped his feet and
frowned, "We have to go, they know you are the Black Knight now
though. Since I saved your ass, and Alice made it out, they will know you
are the real Black Knight now."

I slammed my fist into the nearby bleachers, just before my fist hit,
something black, red, and gold engulfed my hand. When my fist connected,
the energy disapated and the pole was dented inwards. I looked at my hand,
which was now covered in black and red armor with gold trim. I gasp and it
disapated into mist.

"Woah." I say as I did this.

"Hmm, learning. Managed to summon a Gauntlet." Seth said as he tapped his
shoulder.

"I-I will go with you so I can learn how to use this power..." I said
hanging my head.

"Lets go, you need to get your stuff, we have to leave, asap." Seth headed
for the school parking lot.

When we were in the parking lot, Seth jumped in his car as I hopped on my
bike. We rode to my house where I ran in to my room.

"Hey honey, what are you doing home so soon?" My mother asked as she saw me
run past her to my room.

I packed up my stuff and grabbed anything I would need. I came downstairs
to see my mother and Seth on the couch. She looked at me wondering what was
going on.

"Mom, I have to leave for a while. I do not know for how long though." I
say this to her as she sat there absorbing the information.

"Why? Whats wrong?" She asks, "Are you ok?"

"I just have to go, I am in danger here." I explain, "Someone wants me
dead, I have to leave to protect myself and you guys."

"I understand, and just be safe, ok?" She says as she nods.

"Thank you, mom." I say as I look at Seth.

"I will put those in my car, just follow me with your bike." He says to me
as he grabs some of my bags.

We threw my bags into his car as we drove off again. My mother had given me
a card for gas, I would definitely need it. I zoomed down the highway with
Seth ahead of me. He turned down a dirt road. We were soon pulling up to a
mountain. Once there I pulled up next to his car as he got out.

"We are here." He said to me, I looked at him quizically, "The way is
hidden."

He then held up his hand, relaeased some Aura. It swarmed forward and
collided with the side of the mountain. Suddenly the side of the mountain
disappeared and a tunnel appeared before us.

"Lets go." Seth said as he got in his car.

I followed after him into the tunnel. We descended into the darkness of the
mountain to where these Knights were hidden. I groaned a bit as I bounced
in my seat a bit, thankfully I knew how to stay on. We soon entered into
light and I was amazed, we were in some kind of city, and oddly enough, we
were in the sun! How is that possible?! We went down! We drove through the
city until we made it to the center. We got out and headed to the building
in the center.

"What are we doing?" I ask Seth.

"We are metting the man who is in charge, he is fulfilling your duties
until you are around." Seth said as he opened the doors to the building,
"He is still in charge until you are done training as well."

We walked up the carpet, leading to a desk, which sat a receptionist, of
all things. We walked up to her as she looked up at us and frowned.

"Yes?" She said with an irritated voice, "What is it, Seth."

"I must speak with my father. I have the Black Knight with me." He said to
her, with an equally irritated voice.

"Well hey there, handsome." She said to me as she leaned forward, pressing
her tits together, "Please tell me a handsome guy like you is not like
Seth, here."

"What do you mean?" I ask her, not even slightly interested in her.

"I mean, he does not show any interest in me, I heard he is-"

"Shut up, Sarah!" Seth said through gritted teeth, "Mind your own fucking
business."

"Whatever, he is gonna learn sooner or later." She said before hitting an
intercom, "Mr. Mastin? Yeah, your son is here, he says he has the Black
Knight. Go on in, Seth."

We walked into an office where at the desk is a man who looked to be in his
late forties, and just an older version of Seth. He signaled for us to come
in and Seth walked forward, which prompted me to do the same. He sat in a
chair before his father said anything, and I followed suit, but a bit more
politely.

"Seth. You claim to bring the Black Knight, is this whom you are speaking
of." He says to Seth, as if I am not there.

"Um, first off, I am right here, do NOT speak about me as if I was
not. Second, he says I am, that my Aura only recently awoke." I said, a bit
ticked off, "And third please tell me what the fuck is going on here?! We
went down, how are we in the sun now?!"

"I am sorry. I just have a hard time believing my son actually found the
Black Knight." He said to me, "As for the thing about going down the
finding yourself in the sun, it is an Aura power, you were transported here
via lay lines and Aura, they brought you to our hidden city."

I got up, still angry at how I was treated, I hated being ignored and
talked about as if I was not there. As I fumed, suddenly I was engulfed by
the black, red and gold of my Aura, and when I stepped forward again my
foot clinked. I stopped in my tracks and realized I was in armor,
completely covered in it.

"See, Dad. He IS the Black Knight of the Golden Sun." Seth said look at his
father smugly, "Now calm down, Jason. Relax, and will the Armor to go
away."

I did as he said and I saw the Armor disapate into a mist and vanish. I sat
back down, astonished at what I did.

"Hmm, you will have to be trained... Seth, you are to train him." Seth's
Dad, said to us.

"What? But Daaad!!!" Seth whined, "Why me? Why do I have to train him?!"

"Because I said so! By the way, Jason, was it? I am Richard." Richard said
to me.

"More like, Dick." Seth mumbled under his breath, to which I chuckled a bit
and his dad shot him a glare.

"Get out of here now, Seth and train him!" Richard demanded his son to
leave.

We left and I tried not to laugh as we headed off. He got in his car and
headed off, with me following behind until we got to a house, at which
point he got out and waited for me to pull up.

"This is my place, since I am training you, you are going to stay with
me. Come on, lets find you a room." Seth said as we got to the door.

Once inside he led me to an empty room, all it had was a bed and a
dresser. He pointed to the bed and dresser and then a closet.

"Thats your bed, dresser, and closet. Bathroom is down the hall and to the
left." He said as he waved a hand towards the bathroom, "Breakfast is at
seven am sharp, lunch is one, dinner seven pm. Do not miss a meal, until
you are suffeciently trained you will need all the energy you can get."

With that he walked off towards his room on the other end of the hallway. I
dragged each bag into my new room and started to unpack. I was done when I
noticed it was almost seven and I headed downstairs to the dining
room. When I was there I saw Seth had alread made two plates and set them
out. I sat at the one he set for me and did a silent prayer, I noticed he
did the same before we chowed down into the food he made, I gagged a bit,
did he not know how to cook?!

"What IS this?!" I demanded after not being able to swallow more than two
bites.

"I am sorry, I am not good in the kitchen!" Seth yelled at me as he glared
at his plate, not being able to eat it either.

"Ugh." I say as I got up and headed into the kitchen.

"What are you doing?!" He demands as he gets up from his seat.

"Sit down, princess. I got this..." I looked through his kitchen

I found some food that I could easily make, that would be better than the
good looking but horrible tasting meal he had made. I set about to making
the meal and was soon done, it was a simple meal, rice, some left over
chicken, and some cream of mushroom soup to go over it all. I served it up
and I dug into it, loving the flavors in it. Seth took an experimental bite
before his expression changed.

"Woah! This is delicious!" He said surprised at my ability to actualy make
something good.

"Thank you, now eat up, tomorrow we train... I better wake up early to make
breakfast..." I said before finishing off my plate. I showered and then
headed to bed.
