Chapter 20: When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object

	Going to the dance was one of the best experiences of my life. It
was almost magical how last year I was a social pariah to being at a dance
openly gay and having the time of my life. After shouting that Ian was
straight to everyone Ian left and Jay and I were left to enjoy the rest of
our evening. All too soon it was over and I found myself once again in
Jay's car headed home. We dropped Colin and Danny off and we rode in a
comfortable silence to my house. Jay stopped at the end of our driveway.
	"Dustin I wanted to talk to you" Jay said suddenly getting
nervous. I was a little nervous myself because Jay always seemed so
confident.
	"Jay what's wrong?" I asked
	"No nothing's wrong..." he said assuring me "it's just
that... would you be my boyfriend?" he asked
	I was floored and elated but my heart ached for a moment as I
thought of Ian. Jay as ever the mind reader came to my rescue.
	"Anam Cara" Jay said suddenly
	"Anam Cara?" I asked
	"Anam Cara is an old Celtic belief that I am rather fond of. It
means soul friends, the idea is that there are people in our lives, some
people stay, some go, and some pass too soon. The idea is that sometimes
when you meet someone and you feel that `spark' or that `connection' and
that person manages to put a deep impact on your life even after a short
while it means that they are part of your Anam Cara." He said
	"I think I understand" I said
	"Ian is also part of your Anam Cara and maybe someday he'll be more
than just a friend. I have a friend just like Ian whom I wish I could be
with Dustin, fate sometimes lets us know a determined outcome but never the
path on how we get there."
	"Then what is this?" I gestured in-between us
	"I think you were meant to be part of my Anam Cara and although I
might not always be with you I want this chance to be while I can. I love
you with my soul Dustin and the only thing I want is your happiness." Jay
said and my heart completely melted into a puddle of goo
	"That is probably the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me" I
said before I even registered I said it
	"You have no idea how special you are. Truly one of a kind and if
you had told me that I would EVER be coming out publicly with my sexuality
or that I'd be more than just a figure in the library I would have laughed
at you. But you make me want to be so much more." Jay said
	I unbuckled my seatbelt and got out of the car so I could take my
shoulder pads off. I threw them on the ground rushing to the other side of
the car where Jay had stepped out. I threw my arms around him and brought
out faces together.
	The kiss was slow and was filled with the most love I had ever
felt. His tongue slowly work its way inside my mouth and I felt my body
melting into his as his hands slowly worked its way around my back and my
body seemed to come alive.
	"I love you" he whispered into my ear and brought a trail of kisses
on my neck and then I felt his lips connect with my neck and it was
suddenly as if he had hit an `on button' and my body spasm-ed and I moaned
in pleasure as my cock instantly became achingly hard.
	"Sensitive I see" he said against my neck and then suddenly my body
was hit with another huge wave of pleasure as he began sucking on my neck.
	I began to move my hips against him and pushed back against me. He
brought his hands up under my shirt and I squeezed his back into
me. Suddenly I felt myself coming and I couldn't stop.
	"Jackson" I gasped as I came inside Colin's jock.
	He pulled away from my neck and gazed into my eye with a loving
stare and brought his lips against mine.
	"I love you" I said as I wrapped my arms around him in a hug and he
held me tightly...
 	"Well I think it's time" he said and I pulled away from him
	"Yea" I said
	"That and we're still in the middle of the road" he said and I
realized he was right. We were standing on the side of the road completely
exposed to any passing cars. It wasn't like I lived on a highway, but I
didn't exactly live out in the middle of nowhere either.
	"We just did it in the open?" I asked
	"Yep" Jay smiled at me and leaned in to give me a chaste kiss
"let's get you home stud"
	I walked back to my side of the care and picked up the pads and
jersey and set them on my lap as I got into the front seat and Jay drove us
to the front of my house.
	Jay decided to walk me to the front door which I thought was
amazingly sweet
	"I'll see you on Monday" Jay said
	"Actually today is Saturday right?" I asked
	"Well Sunday morning" Jay corrected
	"You want to come over `today' for some study group?" I mocked
	"Well... I already do that five days a week" Jay smiled
	"Well if you don't want to" I said frowning
	"How about we watch a movie and snuggle on the couch and then maybe
open a book or two?" he asked I leaned in and kissed him.
	Just then the front door opened and my dad stepped out
	Jay and I broke apart and I saw my dad smirking at me
	"Evening Boys" my dad said looking at Jay "Dustin who's your new
friend?" my dad asked
	"His name is Jackson Petrie" I said "he was my date to the dance"
	"I see" my dad said "did you boys have a good time?" my dad asked
	"Yes sir" Jay said
	"Good" my dad said giving Jay a glance over and then to me "are you
going to be staying the night?" my dad asked Jay
	"Well sir I wasn't exactly planning on it" Jay said
	"Well I don't think you should be on the road after drinking a case
of beer" my dad said
	"Dad we haven't been drinking!" I snapped
	My dad pushed the door open wider and revealed a case of Sam Adams
on Ice in our camping cooler that he must have dug out from the garage, he
had been planning this.
	"Sir I completely agree, can I call my dad and tell him I am going
to be staying here?" Jay asked
	My dad pulled the cordless phone out of his pocket and handed it to
Jay.
	"Why do I feel like I've been setup" I said looking at my dad
	"Think of this as a post winning the swim meet private party" he
said giving me a smile
	"And what makes you think I'm not just going to take him into my
bedroom and do naughty things?" I said causing Jay to blush
	"Well judging from the wet stain on your stark white pants I'd say
you'd already done that before you came here"
	My dad smiled and stepped aside so we could enter the house
	"Welcome to the family" I said looking over a Jay who despite the
terrific blush over his face managed a smile as my dad patted him on the
back and closed the door behind us.

	Thus ends another part of the Raven Saga.(Can you believe we're
almost halfway there!) Raven now feels fully accepted and seems to have
found a new budding relationship with Jackson.  But the plot thickens as
new tensions develop with Ian and the mystery surrounding Jackson.
