A year ago they captured a member of the Red Dragons Company called Mike Evans and put a fake charge of drug dealer on him and he was condemned to 20 years of prison. A couple of years later the three companies conspired to get him out of the prison and sent him far away from Seagull City, they succeeded and the police declared a war against the 3 companies saying they were criminals. The 3 bosses only said that they were indeed guilty for the charge of releasing an innocent man from prison. So now the relationships with the police department on Seagull City was tough, they would try to capture any person who looked like a runner, but the runners of the city were just too good to be captured. Rory was jumping trough buildings when he suddenly stopped, he felt someone behind him so without any hesitation he took out his special electric gun out of the holster and pointed it at the presence. - Whoa boy, calm down. - Black Phoenix? Standing in front of the gun was Black Phoenix with a cocky smile on his face and his arms up, Rory knew that the gun wasn't dangerous for a superhero like him but he still pointed it at him. - You're not going to get that thing down? - Actually no, we need to talk. Said Rory icily and Black Phoenix knew what the conversation was about. - You'd been a pain for my friend. - Which friend? - Don't give me that shit; you know who I'm talking about. - You're friends with the red brat right? - Exactly, now tell; me what the hell is your problem with him being a hero, he just wants to help. - I'm doing it for his safety! Is dangerous to be a superhero and I prove that this city is too small for 2 of them, and also he should be grateful that I let him have a social life because mine is sucking balls right now! *BANG* At that moment Rory threw a shot at the superhero, the electric (no-mortal) bullet passed besides Black Phoenix's face, Rory missed on purpose he just wanted him to shut up. - First you mention his safety, which leads me to think that you are a good guy for protecting him, but then you say that this city is too small for 2 heroes and that he doesn't let you have a social life and that leads me to think that you are actually a selfish bastard. - What?! Listen you- *BANG* Another shot shut the hell up of Black Phoenix. - No YOU listen to me! You can't make his decisions, of course I don't want him to get hurt he is my friend and I love him but this is his decision, to use his powers for good. So take the vanity out of your ass and let him do his job! And also if you care so much about social life you shouldn't be a hero... But maybe you're right on that, without this free time you gave him he probably would miss his Friday night date. Rory put the gun on the holster and walked away to jump to another building but he was stopped by the superhero. - Wait what? Date? With who? Who is going to date him? - What? This is not of your concern go to hell super jackass! Rory took out of his pocket a little bomb and threw it into the floor, a big cloud of smoke came out of it and Black Phoenix jumped back coughing, when the smoke disappeared Rory was nowhere to be seen. Scott sighed, his beloved Skye really got a date... he was going out with someone and that wasn't him... he started to wonder if this was really a nice idea. Then he heard a voice of someone really far away. - If you really want to talk to him he is at the Car cemetery, be sure to apologize! It was Rory's voice, it was really far away and he was nowhere to be seen but that was his voice. Scott smiled thinking that he would be a hell of a sidekick. Red Sorcery was lying on the ground, it was winter but he had pretty good training session that got his body hot and he was now sweating on the ground not to say that he was feeling really thirsty. He lifted his shirt and started using it like a fan to let the cool air get in. - So that's the meaning of fan service. Red Sorcery got up at the sound of that voice and looked up just to see Black Phoenix landing besides him with his usual grin. Red Sorcery put a mad face and snapped his fingers. At that moment a big jail cage appeared from the ground trapping Black Phoenix. - Nice to see you, now that I have your attention and you're obviously NOT going anywhere, tell me what is your problem with me? - Ok, so you're the kind of guy who likes bondage? I can live with that. Said Black Phoenix smiling with lust but Red Sorcery was too mad at him to pay attention to that sort of thing. - Answer the question Black Phoenix. Black Phoenix sighed deeply. - Ok, I'm worried about you... You don't know how it is to be a hero is, it's really dangerous and I don't want you to get hurt kid. - Stop with the kid/brat/child stuff, from your looks I can judge that you're only 1 or 2 years older than me anyways! - W-well... - And don't worry about me; this is my freaking choice so stop treating me like I might break if someone touches me. - You should be grateful! Yelled Black Phoenix at him and Red Sorcery stepped forwards looking at him with an angry face without saying a word, Black Phoenix had the same angry face but unlike Skye, Black Phoenix kept on talking. - I'm giving you the opportunity to have a life! I'd been working my ass to keep this place clean and give you the opportunity to hang out with your friends or stay with your family, date or something! - Ok stop right there. Skye snapped his fingers and the cage disappeared then he took Black Phoenix's face in his hands and talked in a grim voice. - First, I don't have many friends to hang out, second, I chose this path and you have no right to butt in, and also you are not making a good job `cleaning' this city if there's so much crime still going on. - I... I'm- Scott forgot for a moment that Skye didn't had friends to hang out except from Rory, he didn't thought for a moment that Skye wanted to protect the people by his own choice he just wanted to protect him. - I just want to help, because I love this people so stop being like this and let me do my job. - ... Fine do whatever you want. Said Black Phoenix without looking at Red Sorcery, Skye only smiled at him and then blushed a little. - ...well... - ... - I must admit that having this free time did helped me a little with homework and... I have a date too so... Black Phoenix always took control on his actions, he always had calculations about his moves and he always stayed calm under the toughest situations but this time he couldn't keep his composure. When Red Sorcery said `date' he just lost it and took him by the arms shaking him. - With who? Who is going to date you? - What the hell? - Answer me? What's the name of the person? - Ok calm the hell down you weirdo, I don't have to tell you anything; that goes against the whole secret identity thing; now let go of me! Red Sorcery freed himself and like Rory would say: he slapped the crap out of Black Phoenix face. - Just when I think that you might not be such a jerk you act like a damn weirdo! Shawn! At that moment Shawn appeared and they both flied away leaving Black Phoenix behind. Black Phoenix stared at a blank space on the sky for a moment and let out a loud growl, he then sighed with sadness. - Damn it Skye... you sure know how to mess with my head. It was a normal park, with normal people hanging out at the end of the day. There were kids playing on the swings and old people giving food to the birds there were peace and quiet until a black hole appeared in the earth. It was an odd sigh for everyone around, there was indeed a black hole on the ground and it was swallowing a tree slowly until the tree was nowhere to be seen. That black hole, no... since the color of that hole was pink it's probably better to call it a pink hole. That pink hole swallowed the tree and all the people whispered in panic and fear, and then another pink hole appeared then another and one more. The people screamed in fear and ran away when the holes started to swallow everything in the park, there were 4, then 7 then one hundred of them swallowing everything until the park were empty only with grass on the ground. Then a girl with brown hair and pink eyes walked on the grass smiling like a nice excited child, her smile was kind but her intentions were not. - They told me to destroy everything I hate right? Well I hate everything in the world. Said the girl smiling and walking looking for more things to make disappear in oblivion, she looked at the sky and sighed while smiling with sincere kindness and walked away from the park. ................................ `'I'm in love , I may be small, really small but I already know how loves feels like, and I'm in love, I know it because my heart is telling me that I cant live without that person'' Zachary Bennett walked trough the school yard in search of his beloved person, he greeted a lot of kids while doing his search after all he was awfully popular, even without an arm he was the brightest kid on earth, he was actually pretty good at soccer and a real gentleman with girls and respectful to the adults, sure he struggled with school assignments but he worked harder than everyone else and that made him the most admired boy in his school. He sighed dreamily at the sight of his target; he was as usual reading a book under a tree in the farthest place of the yard, Zachary smiled to himself and ran to where he was. - Hey Taylor, what are you reading? He said approaching the boy who didn't even bothered in register his face; instead he flipped a page and continued on reading before answering in a cold voice. - None of your business. Zachary let out a little laugh and sat besides Taylor and stared at him for a while. Taylor Davis, his teachers would refer as him like a quiet child but to his classmates he was a dark eerie kid who always sat on a corner reading big complicated books. His hair was black and messy and his eyes were sky blue, his skin was pale white and he had beautiful rosy cheeks, Zachary always noticed on class, he was the only child who wasn't interested in him in any way. The first time they met was on the first day of this school year, it was a rainy day and on lunch period Zachary stayed back looking for some money on his bag pack, some of his classmates offered him help but he rejected it, he didn't liked to get help because of his condition. When he got the money for his lunch he noticed that everyone had already left the classroom, everyone but one kid, Taylor was eating an apple on the back of the classroom and was reading a book with the title `And then there were none' and he was really enjoying it. Zach stared at him with curiosity for a little while and saw his facial expressions change from surprise to a little laugh then from serious to once again another surprised face. He let out a little laugh watching him and Taylor took a glance at him, it was just a split of a second and Taylor got back to his book but in that split of a second Zach felt his heart beat twice as fast and his face getting hot. When he saw those eyes he felt something really warm inside and he wanted to know what it was. So for the very next day he tried to talk to Taylor first thing in the morning. - Hi there. He said in his usual cheery tone, Taylor looked at him and then got back to the book he was reading, Zach for the first time felt ignored, nobody in the world could ignore Zach not even if they wanted to, everyone felt that Zachary was filled with light and happiness and they couldn't ignore him but Taylor ignored him like a pro and for the first time Zachary Bennett felt annoyed. - Hey! Hello there. This time Taylor didn't even looked up, he flipped a page and kept reading without saying a word, Zach felt insulted it was annoying to be ignored he was taken out of balance but he also felt really curious. So he poked the book a couple of times until Taylor looked at him with annoyance. - What? - Now you're talking to me, nice to meet you I'm Zachary Bennett. - I don't care. Taylor began to read once again but this time Zachary didn't felt insulted or annoyed, he felt... refreshed. Somehow when you are such a special kid like Zachary and everyone is paying attention to what you say or do, you get tired and feel the pressure to meet everyone else's expectations but Taylor wasn't paying attention to him, he wasn't expecting anything from Zachary and he certainly didn't felt like Zachary was special or different from some other child so he felt refreshed. What he liked the most is that he didn't felt the normal auto pity that everyone else (outside his family) had on him because of his lost limb. For the rest of the year he tried to talk to Taylor every day but he was lucky if Taylor pay the minimal attention to him just to let out a rude comment or an annoyed glance, but he wanted to talk to him because he felt interested, because Taylor was interesting, he was mysterious and he made his heart beat fast even when he didn't knew why was that. But then he figured it out, he figured out what the fast beat was when he sat besides Taylor on the big tree on the most far part of the school yard. Taylor was reading `A countess bellow stairs' and he was really enjoying the read, Zachary was eating his lunch and he saw something odd on Taylor. Taylor laughed, he let out a faint laugh when he read the book and his cheeks turned a faint shade of pink in that faint laugh, Zachary felt his heart melt and he knew what it meant. He always heard people talk about love but he couldn't understand it, but when he saw that laugh he knew that he was in love. Today he wanted to go out with him, he made up his mind and he knew that he was small but his love was as great as everyone's love. - C'mon Taylor, don't be like that. - ... - You're so rude sometimes Taylor. - Shut up I'm reading. - Is reading everything you ever do? - ... Taylor looked up at him, he probably was surprised by that question and that was because nobody asked that question before. Everyone assumed that he only liked books. - ... I also like movies. Zachary opened his eyes as big like plates, he smiled widely and got close to where Taylor was, their faces were inches apart and Taylor had to pay attention to Zachary even if he didn't wanted to. - Let's go, to the movies, lets go together you and me. - ... w-why? - It'll be fun! Taylor surprised even himself when he nodded his head; Zach smiled and got up quickly before he could regret his decision. - Meet me at the school gate and we'll go together. He ran away and Taylor sighed wondering what in the world did just happen? Another pink hole opened in the midair and a girl fell from there landing softly on a rooftop, she sighed smiling at the sight of the city, Seagull city was beautiful and filled of crime she smiled at the thought of destroying everything, she wanted to swallow every single little thing in this city and destroy it all. So she threw herself from the rooftop and another pink hole opened and swallowed her just before she hit the ground. Skye landed on the park where just yesterday everything disappeared. He made a displeased face when he saw that in that there was nothing on the place, just green grass could be seen. - Can you sense something? He asked to the little Shawn and he motioned a no with the head. - I can't sense anything here; whoever did this didn't let a single trace. - Making everything disappear, what kind of power is that? Red Sorcery walked around the place looking for clues that might lead him to the person responsible of this weird event when he felt a presence coming from behind, he sighed deeply with a tried look on his face because he knew who it was. - Why hello there red kid. - Hi Black Phoenix... Shawn got between the two of them and hissed at Black Phoenix. He let out a laugh and smacked him aside playfully. - Leave him alone Black Phoenix! - Wow, we are quite mad today right? - Why do you care? I'm here to solve this crime. Red Sorcery turned around and started walking but he stopped when Black Phoenix hugged him from behind and whispered. - Hey, want to work with me? Solve this together like a team? Black Phoenix hugged him from behind and sniffed Skye's neck taking the sweet smell he loved so much, Skye gasped when he felt the warm breath of Black Phoenix on his neck and his face turned red. Black phoenix wanted to lick Skye's neck so badly but when he was about to kiss that desired skin he received an elbow punch in the stomach. - Look you sicko, I might admired you before but now you're just annoying and dislikable to me so I'm not going to work with you! - I can sense it! They both turned around to see Shawn who just spoke in a worried loud voice. - Downtown, near the movie theater, there's some kind of disturbance. Red Sorcery we need to hurry. Red Sorcery nodded his head and started floating ready to leave the scene with Shawn and Black Phoenix did the same. - Say whatever you want but I'm a superhero too, so I'm coming. - Do whatever you want, since I'm different from you I won't get in the way of someone who is trying to help. Black Phoenix clicked his tongue and they both flied away at great speed, Skye wasn't too pleased with the idea of working with Black Phoenix now that he sees him like a jerk but deep inside him there was a little spark of excitement, he was after all his favorite superhero, that kind of feeling just doesn't go away so easily. `'The bastard is taking my hand... I don't get him, he is the warmest person that I've ever met and he is here with a creepy child like me watching a movie... and he is holding my hand, I don't get him'' The movie was coming to an end, Zach was watching the movie with a happy face as the hero was returning home and his good hand was holding Taylor's hand, Taylor didn't knew why he was doing that, it was illogical to him, if the guy only had one good hand he should use it to grab some popcorn or take a sip of his soda, but instead he was holding his hand tightly and Taylor couldn't help to think that he had the softest and warmest hold in the whole world. The movie came to an end, the room lighted up and everyone started to stand up and stretch, Zachary let go of Taylor's hand and they both stared into each others eyes for a second, after that they moved their faces to other direction with red cheeks. - So I think, we should been going right? Said Zach scratching his cheek with embarrassment, Taylor just nodded his head and they both got up, they walked outside the theater with an awkward silence surrounding them. It was pretty quiet until Taylor spoke. - Aren't you like... hungry? - ... I actually am; how do you know? - Because you were grabbing my hand all the time so you didn't ate any of the candy we bought. Zach's face grew red at that statement and Taylor just kept talking in his dead cold voice. - Which by the way was kind of a waste since we bought so much candy... well I like candy so I'll probably eat this at home. - Y-you really like candy that much? - Yeah, why? Zachary smiled, he just found out something new about his beloved one and that made him happy, he made a mental note to buy him some chocolate later. - So anyway... Taylor lowered his head in an intention to hide his face under his dark messy hair and talked in a shy voice that Zach never heard before. - W-would you like to go and eat something with me? Zachary opened his eyes as big as plates and with the excited happy face that was his personal signature he took Taylor's hand once again and talked in a cheery voice. - Sure! Let's go Taylor! Before Taylor could say a word he was dragged away by Zachary outside the building and on the streets, they suddenly stopped at an odd sight. They could see an entire light post being slowly swallowed by a pink hole on the ground and disappeared from its original place. Taylor took a step back when they saw a girl with brown hair and pink eyes walking at their direction, Zachary didn't knew what was happening but he could sense danger from that girl's eyes so he protectively putted himself between her and Taylor. The girl smirked, she probably though that it was a funny sight to see a kid without an arm protect another one, Taylor knew this so he pulled Zachary besides him and extended his arms protecting him with an angry face, the girl's smirk grew even bigger. - Taylor! What are you doing?! - Run idiot, this girl is dangerous. - You think I don't know that? That's why I wanted to protect y- - Don't argue with me right now and run! Zachary felt useless, he hated that feeling, without his arm there were times when he felt useless and he just hated that, he just wanted to feel needed and normal, he wanted his arm back so he wouldn't feel useless, he wanted his arm back to protect Taylor but right now he couldn't, he felt useless. The girl snapped his fingers and a pink hole appeared under a light post, then he snapped his fingers again and another hole appeared around 100 meters in the air and then another in the ground, she snapped his fingers once more and another hole appeared in front of her. The light post traveled from its original place to 100 meters in the air and then to the ground where once more traveled to the last pink hole in front of the girl. The light post took a great speed from those travels and that super fast light post was going to hit Taylor in the face but he refused to move, he didn't knew why but he wanted to protect Zachary so he didn't moved not one inch, he closed his eyes when he saw the light post coming out of the last pink hole. *THUM* There was a loud noise... then there was complete silence... the light post hit something but Taylor was fine... Zachary was also fine. Taylor opened his eyes slowly and he saw a red coat in front of his face. Red sorcery was there and he stopped the light post with his super strength. The light post fell loudly in the ground and Red Sorcery looked behind him. - Are you two ok? They both nodded their heads with mouths open, Skye recognized Rory's brother right away and immediately he got worried. - Now go and find shelter, this place is about to get messy. - T-thank you. Said Zachary and took Taylor's hand and ran away. Red Sorcery turned around and he saw the girl being hold back by Black Phoenix. She clicked her tongue and snapped her fingers, at that moment a pink hole appeared under them, Black Phoenix jumped back and the only one who fell was the girl. Another hole appeared on the air and the girl fell from there and landed softly on another light post. She smiled kindly and bowed at the superheroes lifting the sides of her skirt like a proper young lady. - Nice to meet you superheroes, they told me you would probably try to stop me. Let me introduce myself, I'm Pink Abyss, lets get along. Red Sorcery and Black Phoenix both glanced at each other with weird expressions on their faces and then Red Sorcery just shrugged his shoulders. Then he bowed like a proper gentleman. - I'm Red Sorcery nice to meet you. And I don't think we can get along if you are destroying the city and threatening others people lives. - Same here, I don't think we can get along that way, and I'm Black Phoenix by the way, sorry but I don't bow to villains. - It's a shame then. I hoped I could make some friends. Said Pink Abyss with honest sad eyes, Red Sorcery lifted an eyebrow at that; it was odd to see a villain getting sad about not having friends. *SNAP* With a snap of her fingers Pink Abyss used her ability to make appear 7 different pink holes around the superheroes, and then she was swallowed by another pink hole. - So she can create portals right? - Seems like it Said Red Sorcery getting on back to back on guard with Black Phoenix, then Pink Abyss appeared on a pink hole that was above their heads and kicked them both with superhuman speed just to disappear again into another hole. The superheroes fell to the ground grunting and feeling pathetic. - Shit she can kick! Are you ok? Asked Black Phoenix while rubbing his head, Red Sorcery nodded his head and tried to stand up but at that very moment another kick came from the front. *THUMP* A right kick on the guts, Red Sorcery fell onto his knees with little tears on his eyes, he felt the content on his stomach going up his throat and he started to throw it all up on the ground. - Red! Black Phoenix saw that and turned around and tried to take Red Sorcery on arms but from another portal came another kick that hit Black Phoenix on the ribs. The pain was so bad that he also fell on his knees; he definitely had a broken rib or two, he needed to act quickly or else another kick was going to come. Just when he was thinking that another kick came from besides Red Sorcery and kicked him on the cheek, he flied away and Black Phoenix had to ignore his broken ribs to catch him and land on the ground rolling painfully. Black Phoenix then made a sign with his hand, at that sign they were surrounded by a barrier made of darkness, inside that barrier there was a little purple light that shone on the heroes, Black Phoenix hugged his beloved Skye softly and landed him gently on the ground. He coughed in pain and let his eyes open. - Hey Red, are you ok? - She is strong. - Yes she is. - S-Shawn. Shawn appeared from the necklace with sad eyes and transformed itself on the book. - I need a healing spell. The pages flew and stopped suddenly, Red Sorcery read the spell and then he sighed. - Hold onto me Black Phoenix. Black Phoenix did as said and took Red Sorcery on his arms, and then the little sorcerer started chanting. - Hear us Oh great lord of mercy, may your light and love fall upon us, grace us with your love... heal our wounds. A faint red light shone from the book, Black Phoenix got a warm feeling all over his body and the wounds started to disappear. - That would be enough, thanks Shawn. - Are you ok Red Sorcery? Asked Shawn and Red Sorcery just smiled at him and nodded, and then he looked at Black Phoenix. - So, how do we defeat her? - Let me think for a moment. - We don't have a moment Black Phoenix! She is outside causing a disaster! - Well I'd like to hear your great idea Red kid! - Quit it with the kid stuff! They both glared at each others, Black Phoenix was really mad at himself right now, first he couldn't do anything to stop Pink Abyss from hurting Skye and then he was healed by the person he was trying to protect so he was really mad at himself but he was taking it out at Skye. That immature action made him even madder. Skye on the other side was mad at himself for not being able to think right now, he needed a plan and he needed fast, he tried to think of any comics that had any portal user on his mind and then it hit him. He snapped his fingers and smiled. - Victima Propiciatoria! - What? Asked Black Phoenix making a weird face and Red Sorcery smiled once again. - Listen to me... Outside the barrier was a really annoyed Pink Abyss sitting on the ground like a little girl. - This is boring! Come out and play already! She snapped her fingers and a pink hole appeared 100 meters above the black barrier, she snapped her fingers again and a truck fell from the skies but at that moment the barrier broke by itself and both heroes flied away on different directions. Pink Abyss smirked when she saw that her new toys were going to keep playing with her. *BANG* Two shots that sounded like they were shot from a canon were heard on the now empty streets, Pink Abyss saw how two red snakes were coming to get her and she snapped her fingers twice and disappeared on another pink hole. She came out on top of a building and felt a shadow above her. That was odd, she was on the top of a building and there wasn't any clouds on the sky so what was doing a shadow above her? When she saw up she could see a truck made of shadows, she could also see Black Phoenix flying on the sky with a grin on his face. - Hello there lady. He said smiling and pointed his hand at her, at that command the shadow truck was shot at her, she clicked her tongue before disappearing trough another pink hole. This time she appeared on an alley but she was too late, she didn't even have the time to take a breath when Red Sorcery shot his Shannon and Kanon guns once again. She snapped her fingers and ran trough another portal, she was on the streets now but this time she was trapped. During her scape the red snakes that came out of the guns tied her by her feet and now she was on the middle of the empty streets hanging on the air like a piņata. She tried to release herself but she was also worried that she was wearing a dress and she didn't want to show any unnecessary stuff. At that moment the snakes let her down but tied her arms and fingers to make sure that she didn't create any portals to scape again. Black Phoenix came from the skies and landed in front of her. - The problem with your portals is that they're not fast enough. - But we are! Said Red Sorcery arriving trough a red magic circle, the girl looked like an annoyed child who didn't got her way and let out a sigh. The trick was this: since they were two they needed to put themselves on places where they could see everything. Black Phoenix went to the skies and made signals from there indicating to Red Sorcery where she was going to appear next and he would be there waiting. Black Phoenix who was flying could see all of the nearby alleys and streets so he made signals and Red Sorcery used a spell of super speed to get to the indicated place. - This is not fair! There's two of you and only one of me! And they said I could destroy all the things I don't like! And I don't like anything in this world so I wanted to destroy everything! - Hold up a sec. Who are `They'? Asked Red Sorcery and the girl smiled again. - The ones who made my life a living hell of course, the ones who kidnapped me on the middle of the night and gave me this weird drugs and shots, the ones that connected me with weird cables all over my body and made me have these superpowers. - Who... who would do such a thing? Asked Black Phoenix and the girl just sighed once again. - If I say their names... they will kill me...
