I tend to write stories very quickly in one big gulp, perhaps half
an hour, to an hour at the most. I don't have much free time. This one was
written for a 'boy-personality' I met on the net--I say 'boy personality',
because anybody one happens to meet online may, or may not be whom they say
they are--so be careful people! Anyway, I started this and quickly realized
that I'll definitely need a plot--something I don't usually bother with.
So, I'd like you to write and tell me if I should continue with this story,
or if it's just boring stuff. If I get a positive response, then I'll take
the time to sit down and do it right :-)) Thanks all.
In the meantime, check Nifty for more stories about my beautiful real boy,
"DENNIS".

RESCUE OF THE RAINBOW SINGERS
It was a very warm night and Ricky sat alone in his darkened
bedroom dressed only in his cotton undies. His little fist tried to
rub some of the sleep out of his eyes as he hunched over the
keyboard of his computer.
**YOU'VE GOT MAIL** the machine boomed out loudly. Startled by
the sudden noise in the quiet room, Ricky jumped to turn the volume
down. 'Geeze', he thought, 'that was waaay too loud...hope Mom didn't
hear it.' He tilted his head in the dark and held his breath while
listening for the little sounds which would tell him if his mom was on
her way to his room:
Nothing.
Relieved, he ran his fingers through his dark hair and sighed
a bit. 'Damn, that was a close one...I don't wanna be grounded again.'
Ricky was supposed to have been in bed hours ago on this school night.
But he just *had* to see if there were any nice new pics in the newsgroup,
or if his special friends had left any messages for him. He decided to
check the mail first before connecting to his favorite internet
newsgroup.
Ricky's blue eyes reflected the colors from the bright
Sony monitor in front of him as the America On Line mailbox finally
opened up to display the mail waiting for him. There was only
one...from someone named, "BoyBlue".
"Hmmmm...", thought Ricky, "...who is "BoyBlue"?, I don't know
any BoyBlue ... must be junk-mail."
Ricky was curious and clicked it open anyway. But something
was not right...the thing wasn't opening like regular mail. The
screen went blank for a second scaring Ricky,"Oh gosh, I broke my
'puter", he thought. But just when the boy was about to panic, a tiny
bright pinpoint of intense light appeared at the center of the
darkened screen and quickly expanded into a pulsing rainbow of colors:
blue, yellow, red, orange, violet, and many other colors Ricky
couldn't identify. It filled the screen, but didn't stop there.
The circle of color continued to expand right into his room,
spreading and spreading until Ricky was totally surrounded with a
room-full of gently pulsing rainbows.
Ricky was so astonished and scared, that he didn't even
realize that he'd jumped out of his chair. His back was now pressed up
against the wall opposite to where his computer sat on his desk. But
his computer and desk were not there anymore. In its place
was...was... well, Ricky wasn't sure what it was. It appeared to be
some kind of opening, a glowing hole where his computer
used to be. And it was growing bigger and bigger each second. Ricky
slowly became aware of something else--a humming
noise, like the sound of many voices singing very low, so low he could
just barely make it out. All he could think right then was: "I hope
they don't wake mom up, she'll be real upset."
Ricky glanced around his room: bed, chairs--everything now looked
odd and unfamiliar. When he waved his hand, each movement he made
disturbed the bright colors which hung in the air like a fine glittery mist.
"Wow!...this is waaay kewl...nobody is ever gonna believe it...," he
said to himself.
Holding his slim arms out in front of himself Ricky glanced
down at his bare body--and gasped. He was glowing! His stomach and
smooth legs glistened with a coating of delicate silvery colours like the
stuff on a butterfly's wing. He turned to the long mirror in his room and
lost his breath again. He stood staring in wonder at the strange image of
himself: he was slender, smooth, beautiful--and totally naked.
Ricky was confused, "What happened to my underwear?" But
he remained there gazing at his reflection, "Wow! Is that really me?"
Somehow, he had been transformed into this silvery glowing creature in
the mirror. "What the heck is happening to me?" Ricky asked aloud,
"I look like a ...a...I look...."
"You look just fine..." sang out a voice behind him. Ricky
spun around startled that someone else was in the room with him.
"Huh?"
Ricky's desk had reappeared and reclining on it, looking relaxed and
swinging his legs was--'BoyBlue'. Ricky knew it was BoyBlue because
the kid's skin was as blue as the early evening sky, and Ricky could see
he was a "he" because BoyBlue was also quite naked.
"Hi Ricky," said BoyBlue. Although the kid wasn't smiling his
voice seemed friendly and full of laughter. This caused Ricky to relax
a bit.
"Hi ...uh...BoyBlue...did you do...all of this?" Ricky gestured
vaguely around his room.
"Yes, our two worlds are in big trouble Ricky, and I need you to
come with me, 'cause only you can help..."
BoyBlue's voice sounded funny--almost girlish, but pleasant to
Ricky's ear. It was like music and seemed to slide up and down a scale
full of hidden shades of feelings, meanings, and emotion. And the young
boy knew immediately that BoyBlue was speaking the truth. Ricky believed
that something important was happening and he was part of it. But he
couldn't begin to imagine what.
RESCUE OF THE RAINBOW SINGERS 2
Ricky stared at BoyBlue who quickly slid off the desk and was
suddenly standing beside him. BoyBlue was taller and somewhat older
than twelve-year-old Ricky. He looked about thirteen or fourteen, but
he was just as slim and smooth. Curious Ricky couldn't help
taking another quick peek 'down there', but BoyBlue didn't have any
hair there either. So they were even in that department. Some of the
glittery butterfly-effect which now totally covered Ricky's body was also
on that strange blue skin, but not nearly as much. In contrast to his
skin BoyBlue's hair was pale gold--almost white. It was long, falling
all the way down past his waist almost to his knees. Ricky could hardly
keep his eyes off that weird hair, 'cause it kept slowly moving about
BoyBlue's body. It occasionally spread and caressed the blue skin then
swept up and down as if it had a life of its own. Ricky giggled to himself
that his new friend was like a strange blue Hanson brother from the
popular music group.
"We must go now," sang BoyBlue. Ricky could feel the dark
shades of urgency in his voice.
"Ok...I'll go with you...but I have to leave a note for mom so
she wouldn't worry about me.." said Ricky.
"That's not necessary, if we are successful we will return at
this very same time, so no one will ever know you were gone...and if
we are not successful, then...there will be no world to return to..."
The black tones and heartbreaking emotions in BoyBlue's voice,
as he sang/said that, nearly made Ricky want to cry.
"Alright then," said Ricky, "I'll just get some clothes"
"No Ricky, only your transformed body can enter my world...um...why
do you need clothes anyway? You have **nothing** to be ashamed of."
This time BoyBlue's musical voice was filled with fun and teasing
laughter. Ricky blushed.
"Come here Ricky."
Ricky approached the blue boy who pulled him in close and
wrapped his arms around his body in a tight intimate embrace. Ricky
wondered what was happening but didn't want to ask, he was afraid that
the taller boy might let go of him. Being in BoyBlue's arms with their bare
bodies pressed together felt comfortable and good. Then Ricky felt
BoyBlue's strange hair sweep around him as if it too was trying to
embrace him. Ricky could feel his body tingle where the ends of
BoyBlue's rippling hair gently flicked and stroked his bare silvery skin.
Suddenly they were moving--two young boys spinning upwards
and away, entwined together amidst a blaze of fiery light and absolute
darkness. Ricky was very frightened, and his body stiffened against
the other boy, he closed his eyes and clutched BoyBlue tighter.
BoyBlue ran his fingers through Ricky's dark hair and pressed his
mouth close to his ear, he whispered a soothing song with no words.
But Ricky understood what it meant: "It's alright, don't be afraid...don't
be afraid....my friend."
Ricky's room was suddenly very dark and very empty. Nothing moved
or made a sound. Some silly insect lost its life when it bashed itself to
bits in a fatal plunge against the glass of the closed bedroom window.
Ricky's mom would have been very alarmed if she happened to check his
room at that moment. The computer on the desk was still on and the
monitor still glowed like a bright door to another world. But
Ricky was gone--he had just begun the greatest adventure of his
young life.
RESCUE OF THE RAINBOW SINGERS 3
-Ricky: The Shining Prince-
BoyBlue and Ricky found themselves free-falling together
through soft striped blue-grey clouds that were sprinkled with tiny
twinkling stars. It felt as if he and BoyBlue were actually tumbling
*upward* inside a huge endless tunnel. The sensation was so strange
that it caused the contents of his stomach to rise into his mouth.
'Oooh', thought Ricky, '...I'm gonna throw up all over BoyBlue if we
don't stop soon.'
As if he could sense that Ricky was uneasy and upset, BoyBlue
began another song; again there were no words, just sounds, but
it made Ricky remember lots of nice things, like opening presents at
Christmas with his mom, or the time when he caught a really big
fish--or another time when he walked along the beach with warm sand
squishing between his toes. He closed his eyes and could almost,
almost, feel the sea-breeze blowing gently through his hair; Oh, BoyBlue's
voice made him feel so happy and contented.
Abruptly, the tunnel-like passage disappeared. And the two
found themselves falling through bright open sky the color of pale
violet. They had completed the change from Ricky's Earth to BoyBlue's
world. BoyBlue seemed a bit startled that he was suddenly back in his
own dimension and his song stopped in mid-breath. Ricky was so very
surprised, that for a second he forgot to hold on to his friend and
began to tumble to the ground.
"Oh...HELP!!" yelled Ricky. BoyBlue tried to grab his hand,
but missed. Then as Rickey floated quickly downwards, the blue kid's
long marvelous hair fanned out like strange wings and he dived swiftly
toward Ricky and caught him up in his arms.
"Oh wow! I was floating...not falling..." Exclaimed Ricky.
"In this world you can 'fly'...or float...you will soon learn
how to control your body "
"That's so kewl...when will I....." But Ricky's question was
cut short by the rising sound of many voices. The lovely music filled
the air around the two boys. It was a melody of unearthly beauty.
There were voices that sang high, and voices that sang low, and there
were some that sang somewhere in between, but they all blended
together in a way that was filled with magic and which made Ricky's
heart beat faster. The voices sang a welcome song. The song 'felt'
like sadness and heartbreak overcome by great joy, for the missing one
was back home where he belonged.
The ones to whom the voices belonged floated up together,
dancing on air as they whirled around the two boys. Ricky stared in
awe at the alien children, at least they looked like children to him.
They were all sizes, some dressed in robes as insubstantial as cobwebs.
Mostly, they wore nothing at all. They were various shades of blue
going from the palest blush of color one could call 'blue', to something
so dark it was almost black, but they all had hair that was alive in a way
that Ricky could never have imagined. The crowd surged towards the two
boys and reached out to touch them with their hands as well as with
fluttering tendrils of hair. The lively hair came in many colors: red, black,
orange, green and even purple, but Ricky noticed that BoyBlue's hair
was the longest and most alive of them all.
The friendly little touches and caresses from all those hands
did not miss a single spot on the bodies of the two boys. Fingers
stroked arms, cheeks, legs; one small fingertip traced its way down
the back of Ricky's neck, and along his spine, all the way down to
his little bum. This made Ricky squirm, breathless and giggly. He
wondered if it would be bad manners to cover his little stick with his
hands, but he did not choose to do so. All those gentle, intimate, touches,
especially those to the 'private' parts of his body, were causing an
obvious physical response. BoyBlue still had one arm around his waist
so Ricky glanced down and saw that his blue friend was in the same
erect condition as himself, and yet he was not ashamed. In fact, he
was smiling.
The welcome song from the mouths of almost twenty boys peaked
with an almost sensual vibration, then it slowly died down. The
celebration of their physical bodies and boyish energies ended, then
the crowd fell into a circle around them. They appeared to lie back
gracefully cushioned upon nothing but air.
A pale-blue boy who looked about thirteen, with hair like
thick green dreadlocks, cart-wheeled into the violet air and hovered before
the pair of boys to sing out his welcome in a surprisingly deep voice
--deep, that is, for an average human boy.
Welcome back among us Lord Ravenor
Of the Northern Mists
And welcome to the Shining Prince
From the distant blue land
His light will show us the way
His light shall banish the evil
which creeps among us.
Lord Ravenor and the Shining Prince
Shall slay the evil which walks among us
...that silences the songs
...that takes our souls
and makes our hearts cold.
Welcome Lord Ravenor of the Northern Mists
And welcome to the Shining Prince
his light will show us the way.
Then the green-haired boy leaped for joy high into the air. As he
descended, he gracefully twirled his body until he was perfectly vertical.
Now he was upside-down with his toes pointed straight towards heaven,
but his face was hanging right in front of "BoyBlue", that is--Lord Ravenor.
The crowd obviously thought this was very funny and laughter spread,
tinkling like clear tones struck on crystal bells.
"Lord Ravenor?? Is that really your name BoyBlue?" Ricky was
confused.
"Yep...did you actually think my name was 'BoyBlue'?" Lord
Revenor smiled and continued, "... from this day forth you will be
known as 'Ricky, The Shining Prince'."
Ravenor still just smiled, but his voice was full of laughter as
he turned to introduce Ricky to the upside-down boy afloat in front
of his face, "...and this creature here is Kell, my best friend."
Ricky felt a twinge of jealousy when Lord Ravenor grasped the
upside-down face of Kell with both hands and planted a kiss on the
pale-blue smiling lips.
