current characters is purely conincidental.  This work contains graphic

Note: The Tenebrous Chronicles is a novel in progress written by Rogal.
This chapter will NOT be included in the final draft of the novel for
obivous reasons.  The following situation is a raw element of the novel and
takes some liberties with the characters.  As being my first submission of
my work, it is definately not my complete best. Forgive me, as this is what
my 3lb organ they call a brain came up with.  If you like, email me.  If

Darkstar paced around his room with a nervous twich to his tail.  So much
had happened so quickly.  He stopped his pacing and looked out the window
across the land.  It seemed only yesterday him and Ecopolis were successful
human gentlemen in their respective fields.  Today, they are rulers of an
entire dimension under attack from the physical manifestation of evil.

"What am I going to say?  I love you just won't cut it.  How about I start
easy and work up to it?  Maybe the usual 'We've been friends for a long
time'.  No, that sounds too cheesy.  Damnit!  I don't want to lose him
again. I don't think I could take it," he thought, continuing his nervous
pacing.

His thoughts and pacing were interrupted by a knock at his door.

"Come in," he signed, a nervous tone to his voice.

The door opened andin walked Ecopolis. His tall slender frame was loosely
draped by a silver cloak.  His scales glowed with a billiant green hue that
seemed to change color with every step he took.  He stopped in front of the
small window and looked back at the door, which closed slowly without any
hand touching it.

"My friend, it is good to see you again.  In case you were wondering, I
have recovered from the recent attack," Ecopolis beamed with a slight hint
of sadness to his voice.  "I came here to tell you something"

Darkstar froze in place.  He thought that Ecopolis had discovered his
secret.  After all, when he was Jason Bintz, top veternarian to Manhattan's
elite, nobody knew he was actually gay.  Worse yet, that he had a sever
crush on his best friend, Eduard Greene, who is standing in front of him
right no as Ecopolis.  How could he explain this?  Worse yet, what would be
the reaction?  Insecurity and fear flooded his thoughts and when he could
take no more, he dropped on the bed sobbing.

"Oh gods Eduard.  I can't take this anymore!  I love you!," Darkstar
sobbed.

Ecopolis walked over to him and placed a hand under his chin.  Lifting it
up, the two friends peered into each other's deep eyes.

"Jason, I've known for a few years now.  I'm gay as well, but was afraid to
tell you.  After all, being top in our professions, nobody would understand
our being gay.  Some of our colleagues might even try to destroy us in the
public eye. We can't have that now can we," Ecopolis smiled for a brief
instant.  He leaned down and planted his lips onto Darkstar's beginning a
long passionate kiss.

The two began a long embrace and broke on the bed, naked and human.

Darkstar looked down. "I didn't know we could do that," he chuckled.
"We'll have to remember that. So Eduard, what do we do now?"

"Jason, we make love," Eduard replied.

Eduard brushed his hands down Jason's side as he began another long
passionate kiss.  His hands stopped just along Jason's throbbing shaft.
With Eduard's touch, Jason shuddred with sheer pleasure.

"Oh gods Eduard.  I love you," Jason moaned as his shaft was engulfed by
Eduards warm wet mouth.

Eduard licked up and down the shaft, while maintaining a tight grip on his
own.  He stopped his oral assult on Jason's cock, only to move up his chest
and stop on his nipples.  He loosened his grip on his cock and pinched the
pink nipples of his lover, causing a deep moan to echo through the room.

"Sirs, you are needed in the main hall," a soldier entered. Once he saw the
pair, he covered his eyes. "Oh gods! I am eternally sorry my lieges."

Eduard jumped off his lover and threw on his cloak.  "What is the meaning
of this soldier?" Darkstar sat in the bed and covered himself with the
sheets.

"I am sorry sir, but both of you are needed in the royal hall. Apparently
there is a domestic dispute between the lords of your land and if the issue
is not resolved, the lords may begin a civil war," the solder replied
nervously.  He briefly turned away as Ecopolis began to redress.

Ecopolis finished and looked back at the soldier.  The soldiers face had
turned a slight crimson.  He looked down and also noticed that the soldier
was sporting what appeared to be quite a hard-on.  Ecopolis chuckled.
"Tell the lords that your kings are indisposed at the moment and they will
be
 down once they are finished."  He saluted to the soldier who turned around
and ran to deliver the message.  Ecopolis closed and locked the door.
Staring back at his lover sitting in the bed, he smiled.

"Now where were we before we were so rudely interrupted," Ecopolis asked.
