Subject: The Snow Prince (Part 3)

			      The Snow Prince

"Are you alright?" The man asked me. "Huh?" I asked, " Are you going to be
alright?" I looked up at this guy with the most amazing ice blue eye's I
have ever seen. He was 6'2 with 200lbs of amazing muscles. (this guy was
built like a rock), He had long blond wave hair and a nice tanned colored
complexion . "I-I-I- I think so" I stuttered to him. He reached down with
his hand and helped me up. " Are you new around here?" I asked him.


He just smiled an amazing smile and said " No not really I'm just passing
through." "I'm Andrew by the way". (wow He even has a great name). "I'm
Kai" I said back a little shy. "So where are you from Andrew?" I asked, "
Up north, Just making my way down south for a little trip." He said to
me. "Beautiful isn't it." He said suddenly, "What is?" I asked a little
confused as to what he was talking about. "The snow, when everything is
covered in its white blanket." he said to me. "Yes it is, Me and my mom
always loved the snow." I said back to him", "Its my favorite time of the
year."


He just looked at me with those ice blue eyes of his for what seemed like
hours but really was only a few seconds and said "Your really cute, you
know that." which made me blush like mad. (Was he for real, Why would this
hot guy think I'm cute). I just couldn't keep looking at him so I looked
away, "I have to go home now. So see you around" I said and started to make
my way off the ice before he could say anything else.


Boy what a day, I made it home and just before 5 in the afternoon. Looks
like dad isn't home yet. I made my way inside and went up to my room to
change. Mom was a women of many talents and my two favorites where cooking
and clothes. She showed me how to make my own clothes and how to make
something old into something new. Which made me the envy of every girl in
school.


So I pulled out my favorite sweat shirt, mom helped me make it when I was
13. It was white with a black cross that ran from top to bottom and from my
left sleeve to the right. I put on a pair of blue jeans and made my way
down stairs to make dinner for dad and me. ( Mom showed me how to cook
to). I made dad's favorite: Pot Roast with backed potato and string
beans. it's a good thing mom showed me how to cook. Because dad couldn't
cook, one time he tried to cook for mom and me and `Chicken' didn't look
like a chicken anymore. I was burned to a crisp so we went out to eat that
night, Mom tried to cheer up dad and I couldn't stop laughing.


By the time I was done I heard the phone ring, "Hello?" I asked . " Hey
Kai, its dad I'm going to be a little late getting home tonight." Dad said
to me. " Oh ok dad, How late are you going to be?" I asked, "Well I be home
around 7, But if you want you can eat with out me." Dad said to me. " Dad
you know when most people say there going to be late it usually around 9 or
10 at night." I said with a smile on my face. " Hahaha...Well I'm a
different kind of dad." He said back, "I know you Super Dad" I said with a
smile, "I'll wait till you get home and then we can eat together." I said
to him, "Alright champ, see you then" "Bye dad".

I hung up the phone and headed to the living room to see what was on
T.V. After surfing for something to watch nothing good came on so I made my
way up to my room. I was almost up the stairs when I heard a knock on the
door. I opened it and who else could it be but Matt.


"Hey Babe what are you up to?" Matt said with a grin on his face. "Matt I
told you a thousand times don't call me babe, What are you doing here
anyways?". "Awww...Come on Kai you know you like it when I call you babe,
Just admit it you and I promise you'll make it worth your while." He said
back with a sly grin on his face. I just rolled my eyes and told him to
come in.


"So what brings you over here?" I asked him as we made our way in side. " I
smell Pot Roast...Mmm and Baked Potato's." He said to me. Oh god, here we
go. ( Matt always loved my mom's cooking and since I learned from her its
like she made it herself.) "Yes Matt you want to stay for dinner?" I asked
him. "Ya if that's ok with you." He said back.


I called his mom and told her that matt was staying over for dinner. She
just laughed and said " Kai are you making pot roast? That boy loves that
pot roast of yours." His mom said to me. " Ya I am Mrs. Alexander, and
don't worry I'll tell him to take some of the cheese cake I made over to
you two. I know you like my strawberry cheese cakes." "You're a sweet heart
Kai, I know Eddie will love them. Take care dear."


"Matt Your mom said its ok for you to stay as long as you take some cheese
cake home with you." I said to him. "Cheese cake!!!" He shouted from the
living room and came through the door with a crazed look in his eye. (Matt
had a real simple weakness and that was my cheese cakes. His favorite being
blueberry and strawberry.) He made a dash for fridge but I beat him to
it. "Oh no you don't that's for dessert Matt." I said to him crossing my
arms over my chest. "Oh come on Kai just one little slice...Please!" He
begged. "NO!" I said to him.


After dad came home we ate dinner and Matt finally got his `One Slice' (Try
four) Cheese cake for dessert. " Hey Mr. Rolland can me and Kai go out for
a bit, just a stroll down the street to my place." Matt asked my dad. "Sure
Matt go ahead but don't be to late you guys got school tomorrow." Dad said
to Matt. "Yes sir no problem Boss man." Matt told my dad.

I grabbed my Jacket and we were out the door.


"So what on your mind, Why would you want me to walk you home?" I asked him
as we made our way down the street to his house. " I just want to know what
your doing tomorrow, The winter fair is coming up and its going to be at
the pond this year?" He said back to me. " Oh ya I almost forgot about
that, I'm thinking of going how about you?" I said back to him. " The guys
want to go together as a group what do you say and you can bring your
skates too. Jen and Kelly said there going to bring there's." "Ok sounds
like a plan to me." I said and we made our way to his place, " Here it for
your Mom and Dad, There's two extra slices in there for you too." I handed
him the cheese cake.


"So you going to be ok walking back on your own?" He asked, "Matt that
really a dumb question since you asked me to walk you home." I laughed. "Ya
I guess it is." He said with a smile. "Ok then see you tomorrow at school"
I said to him, "What no good by kiss or anything, I'm Hurt." He said
looking at me with the sad puppy pout. I just sighed and kissed his cheek
which made him grin like a fool. I just rolled my eyes and began to make my
way home.


Walking back home the snow started to fall again, which made me smile. Out
of nowhere I bumped in to someone turning the corner. "Whoa sorry about
that, I was in a hurry." came the voice that was oh so familiar to me. "Ya
sorry about that" I said quickly as I could and walked away as fast as I
could. But not that fast I guess "Well well Princess what are you doing
walking around all alone late at night?" Kyle said to me. I was facing away
from him so he grabbed my shoulder and spun me around to face him. "
Kai...I asked you a question. I expect to get an answer" He said low voice
that sent shivers down my spin.

"I just dropped matt at his house and was heading home Kyle." I said
keeping my head hung low. He grabbed my chin and brought it up so he could
look me in the eyes. His brown eyes looking deep in to my forest green
eyes. I tried to brake away from his gaze but he wouldn't let me. "Lets
go." Was all he said and grabbed my arm and pulled me to his place that was
across the street. ( Oh god. what's he going to do to me).


He held my wrist as he got he's keys and opened the door. Oh god no one was
home, I am so dead. He sat me down on the couch and told me to stay there
and wait for him. All I could do was nod my head. He went in to the kitchen
for about 20 minutes and came back out with two cups of hot coco. "Here"
was all he had to say, "Thanks, Umm Kyle why did you bring me here?" I
asked him." Oh ya I forgot." He got up and went up to his room and came
back down with some papers. "Here you'll need this to finish my paper,
Remember it has to be done by tomorrow...Got that." He said to me. "Ya, I
got it...Umm Can I go now.?" I asked, "What your to good to spend sometime
with me or something?" He said looking at me. "No its not that, If I'm
going to finish your paper I have to start now." I said to him.


He grabbed my chin and looked in to my eyes again. I closed them but he
told me to open them. "Please can I go Kyle." I whispered to him, He's face
was slowly coming closer and closer to mine. "Not yet, not yet Kai." He
whispered back. Just as our lips were about to kiss the phone rang and he
let me go. He went to answer it and I got up grabbed his paper and ran out
the door heading home.I went home and ran up to my room, "Kai, You ok
champ" Dad asked me as I made it to my room. "I'm fine dad. Goodnight." I
shouted back down to him. "Night son."


I got to my desk and started to type his report on my PC. By the time I was
done it was already 2 in the morning so I to bed, But I couldn't sleep my
mind just going back to the moment when Kyle almost kissed me. (That stupid
Jock, What the Hell was that about anyway). At around 3 I drifted of to
sleep.

Dreaming of the man I meet today at the pond, He's ice blue eyes looking
deep in to mine, deep in to my very soul. Slowly with both hands he held my
face as he bent to kiss my waiting lips.

Sorry about that wait everyone. Wow, what's up with Kyle? Could he be a
love interest or what. Will Kai meet Andrew again ? And what will Matt do
when Kai tells him about Kyle?All this and more in the Next Chapter.
