All I could do was look at him,(Oh god, what am I going to do now.). "Oh Matt, I don't know what to say I do love you but its just not the way you love me." I said to him. "Matt you've always been there for me when ever I needed you and I wish I could say that I love you but that would be a lie. You disserve so much better then me Matt, Someone to make you happy and love you with all his heart." I said gently to him. He looked at me with his gray eyes and I saw the hurt and pain that I had caused him. He still held me in his arms and wasn't letting me go. "Matt, Matt please let me go. Matt please let me go." "Why? Why won't you love me, Have I done something wrong?" He asked a little bitterly at me. I was about to answer him but he cut me off, "There's someone else isn't there. Who is it? Tell me Kai who is it?" He shouted at me. "Matt there isn't anyone, Matt I just don't love you like that. You've been a big brother to me for so long, Please Matt let not throw that away, I don't want to lose another person that means so much to me." I said to him trying to calm him down. Slowly he let me go from his arms, He head hung low and his body started to shake slowly he dropped to his knees. "I-I-I'm so sorry Kai, I don't know what came over me. I just wanted to tell you how I felt. Please forgive me." he sobbed to me. I just smiled and kneeled down to him and held him in my arms. "Oh Matt of course I forgive you. Besides who am I going to have make fun of every time he falls on is butt skating." I said smiling back to him. "Hahaha...Ya well I could still kick your butt on the slops." He said back laughing, We sat down and talked for about an hour. We talked about when he started to love me more then just a friend, and how he kept it all inside. "So what's up with you and Kyle?" He asked (Oh great this is the question I was hoping he wouldn't ask me.). "I really don't know. All the years I've known him this was something I didn't expect from him." I said to him honestly. "Well if he ever try's that doing anything like he did today. I'll kick his ass so bad his mom won't even recognize him." Matt said to me. "Well I got to get dinner started and we still have to meet the gang at the pond for the fair." I said getting up and walked to the kitchen. "You going to stay for dinner or what?" I asked him from the kitchen, "No thanks, My mom might go think I married you and don't want to go home." he said to me from the living room. "But I don't think that would be a bad idea." He said from the kitchen door way with that smirk of his. "Oh ha ha ha very funny smartass. And just for that I no more cheese cake for you." I said folding my arms over my chest. "You wouldn't dare do that to me...Would you?" He asked kind of unsure. I just smiled and went back to making dinner for dad and me. I couldn't hold it in and I busted laughing at his shocked expreation. "that wasn't nice Kai...And here I though you were my best friend." I said in mock anger. "I'm sorry I couldn't help it." I said laughing, "alright bookworm I'll be back in an hour so you better be ready by then." He said and came up behind me and pulled me in to a big hug. "see ya later bookworm" He said and was out the back door before I could say Bye. After I got done making dinner I went up to my room and took a shower, Looking myself in the mirror(Hmm.. My hair is getting long again going al the way to the middle of my back. My brown reddish hair looked good. Flowing down and over my shoulder My slim yet toned body looked good and my bubble butt looked good.) I sighed out loud, "get a grip Mr. vanity." I said to myself. I went and took out my black turtleneck sweater and pulled on a pair of black jeans, and then I got my white cross jacket. I got my silver cross choker and put it on. I gave myself one last look in the mirror and went down stairs, and waited for matt. I though back to one snowy night that when my mother told me a story. "Mommy where dose the snow come from?" 5 year-old me asked, "well that a very big secret and I don't think you ready to know yet." She told me with a smile. "Oh please mommy I won't tell anyone not even Matt please tell me." I looked at he with the sad puppy eyes. She just smiled and said "Alright I'll tell you, The snow comes from the North way way up there and up there at the north there's a crystal Ice palace where a snow prince lives." "Wow...Really mommy that's amazing" I said looking up to her. "Yes and up there in the crystal palace he uses his powers to make the snow that falls from the sky." She continued. " Have you ever seen him mommy?" I asked her. " Yes when I was very young about your age I meet him and he was so handsome and kind to me." she said looked down to me. "But that's another story, No go get ready for bed." I came out of my thoughts when I felt someone's hand on my shoulder, "Huh.. What?" "Are you ok? I've been honking for almost 5 minutes." Matt said to me. "Oh sorry about that. I was thinking." I said to him. "Come on are you ready to go?" He said. "Ya I just need to grab my skates and I'll be right out." I said to him. I just smiled and grabbed my skates from the closet and headed out to Matt's car. And off we went to the pond for the fair, On the way one of my favorite songs came on `Bleeding Love' So I started to sing along with it. The smell of chestnuts roasting was in the air along with cinnamon and spices. I loved this time of the year, We meet the guy at big tree in the center of the fair. "What took you guys so long to get here?" Jen asked . "Sorry it was my fault. But anyways who's up for some fun." I asked a bit to cheerful for everyone taste. "Since when do you know anything about fun bookworm?" Matt said trying to keep from laughing. (OK now its on), I bent down and made a snow ball and hit him on his back. Which made everyone laugh there heads off, But not for long Matt hit Johnny with a snow ball and next thing I knew it was all out war. We were all laughing and having fun for about 15 minutes then Matt gave up and said he was hungry. So we all went through the fair looking for something to eat, after grabbing a bite to eat we went around looking at what people were selling. I spotted Lilly's booth so we made our way there, "Hi guys what up?" I asked dad and Lilly. "Hi Kai, nothing new going on just selling my stuff. What about you guy's?" She asked with a warm smile. "We just ate because this black hole was hungry", I said pointing to Matt. "Hey I'm a growing guy I need to eat." He said to me and Lilly, which only made us laugh even harder. "So dad anything big going on tonight?" I asked him which almost made him drop the box he was carrying. "Umm... No Kai nothing big going on." He said beginning to blush, "Kai come here honey, I was going to give this to you for Christmas but I couldn't wait." Lilly said to me. As I came forward to her she held out her hand and opened it, It was a Charm bracelet. It had glass charms on it, A cross, Snow flake, and A&K one it, "A&K What dose that stand for Lilly?" I asked here. She smiled and said " It stands for Angela and Kai. I hope you like it." She said to me. I smiled and gave her a big hug "Thank you and yes I love it." I said as I started to tear up. Dad just smiled and Lilly wiped my tears and helped me with the bracelet. "Alright you crazy kids go on and have some fun." Dad said to us. "See you later Old man" I said sticking my tongue and we all made a run for it. "Ok who's ready to skate?" I smiled at them, Jen and Kelly were all giddy about it. But Matt and Johnny didn't look to happy, Johnny wasn't that bad at it he was a little better then Matt. "Oh come on guy well be with you the whole time. Well even hold your hands." I said teasing them. (hehehe... Now who's laughing chuckles.) We made our way to the pond and sat down and put on our skates. "How about I sit this one out" Matt said trying to get out of this (Oh no you don't...I have been waiting for this all year.) "wow Matt I didn't know you were chicken." I teased. "I'm not chicken I just don't feel like skating and I forgot my skates." He said back. "well you in luck Matt I got an extra pair with me here" Johnny said to him with a smile on his face. After getting my skates on I was on the ice before any one of them. Drifting with my arms open and slowing down and began to spin with my arms out and came close and held them to my chest spinning faster and faster bent down and came up and stretched my leg out bringing my arms out and bent my leg back in bringing my arms to my chest and then continued to skate. Everyone was looking at me which made me stopped and kind of blushed. Matt and the guys had a smile on there faces. We continued to skate and Matt fell 6 times, A record from is 13 last year. Jen and Kelly went to get something warm to drink, Matt and Johnny went to look for something to eat. I just kept on skating not really paying any attention to where I was going when I bumped in to someone. "oh I sorry, I wasn't looking were I was going." I said, When I looked up to see who it was I bumped in to. My jaw dropped at who it was, "No not a problem, I was hoping I would run in to you again. The name's Andrew remember." He said to me with a smile on his face. (Oh god say something you idiot) I though to myself. "Ya I remember, sorry about yesterday I was in a hurry." I said back to him. He just smiled and said "Oh and I though you didn't want my company" He said back. I just smiles back at him, "Do you mind if I skate with you." he asked. "No not at all, I would like the company." I said back to him with a smile. After 15 minutes of skating, he said " Want to get something to warm you up?". "That would be great, How about some Pumpkin spice?" I asked :"Pumpkin spice, Never had that before" He said to me. " Oh you love it trust me." I said with a smile and we made our way to one of the booths. After getting our drinks we made our way to the woods for a walk. We talked about different thing, What we like to do for fun, things we like to eat stuff like that. As we made our way to the fair grounds, he stopped and looked at me. His ice blue eyes looking deep in my very soul, Slowly he lowered his face to mine and his soft lips meet mine in a single breath taking kiss.
