The Wolf King's Mage

**Prolog**


One stormy night in a far away farmland in Orgon, the second son of a
simple warrior Toka and a gorgeous farmer Amelia is going to be born in an
old unfurnished house. Their humble abode is filled with painful moan and
groan as Amelia pushing out the soon-to-be-born second baby of theirs with
the help of their land elder, her ever loving husband, and a very helpful
2-year-old boy.


A one brilliant flash of lightning followed by a thunderous roar of thunder
and a baby boy is officially out, glowing oh so brightly like a star in the
night sky. Not knowing the warrior's house is surrounded by 72 blue skin
giants and when the baby was out, they are all happy. Those Giants look up
the sky, looking at their king, and the king was very pleased that the baby
boy that he planned to be his vessel is going to join the world he
created. The King nodded and raise his hands high, smiling so wide.


At that gesture, The Ruh appear and to all their surprise, it was visible
to the naked eye for all people to see. The 3rd King of the lands, the last
sub-magi of its generation, the Prime Alpha, the Master Mage, and the demon
overlord gasp when they felt a very powerful presence as they all saw the
Ruh floating in mid-air, feeling jubilant.


The first class singularity has finally arrived, and the demon overlord is
not very happy at all.

Chapter 1


I'm looking at myself in front of the mirror looking like an idiot in my
armor suit. I don't like my armor even one bit. I use a spear so why do I
need an armor? And another thing that I hate, it is because that the armor
is too heavy and too big for my size. Stupid council. I decided to take off
my armor when the door to my room open. It's my lovely and sometimes
annoying big brother. He stared at me for a moment and give me his best
irritating smirk. Great King Solomon! I hate his smile.


"Are you ready big brother?" Leon asked still smirking.


I turn to Leon and looked at him intensely as I'm trying to find or think
of something that can insult him, but nothing comes to mind. He looks
perfect in his armor suit. Shiny silver armor accentuated with red means
that he is the second best in his class. Why second best? Apparently,
someone beat his ass in the rankings for the best warrior student in the
academy and that someone is his best friend, Aries.


My big brother's whole name is Leon Willright. 18 years old, 3rd-year
warrior student and top 2 at the Warriors department in the Academy, one of
the big brothers in his batch of fighters together with Aries. Standing
6'4" and weigh 230 pounds and look very handsome with short blond hair and
very deep blue eyes. He is a swordsman and one of the best in the
academy. He even beat his senior warriors in the academy. Also so confident
and popular. My brother is the kind that I really like, but there is no
incest thing happening between the both of us.


I'm Mako Willright. Leon's little brother and by all means, I'm a little
guy, that's why Leon loves to call me little brother and he like it also
when I call him big brother. 16 years old, 5'6" and weigh 120 pounds with
long until-the-calf-muscle ash blond single braided hair and very light
blue eyes like the sky with a light little green mix. I'm a spear user, and
I'm number 1 among 2nd year. Some of my fellow warriors said that I'm a
cute looking guy while others say that I look creepy because of my
eyes. I'm very opposite to my big brother. Shy but my combat skills are
near as good as to Leon's fighting skills. We're wolf shifters, and I'm
gay.


There is one problem, though. At the age of 16, all new wolf shifter will
have their shift for the first time, except for me. During my 16th birthday
and exactly full moon my brother, his best friend Aries, my boyfriend Titus
(Aries little brother) and their family, which is the Alpha and the Luna of
our pack is going to witness my shift.


     It's been an hour that we waited, but nothing. Our Alpha said that
maybe I'm just a late bloomer, but it never happened in the pack before. I
feel so down and so disappointed that time and I can feel their pity from
my brother and the alpha's family. My boyfriend, Titus, looks a little bit
disappointed as well.


I looked back at the mirror and took off my armor and change to leather
armor like clothes and put my thin and light metal armor on my shoulder and
my leather boots. He gives me a puzzled look and asks,


"Why did you take off armor little brother? You need to wear it."


"My armor is pretty damn heavy, big brother. Can they make a lighter one
for me? I mean, look at me. And I use a spear so I don't need to wear a
full body armor, unlike you big brother."


"Well, you need armor for protection and you know it's a rule that all 2nd
year and higher needs to wear their armor. Come on little brother. We're
going to be late. I don't want the alpha to sermonize us just because we're
late." I looked at myself one last time and grab my spear, and we headed
outside going to school. The place where we're living is just a 15 to 20
minutes walking distance from the Academy. When the time we arrive at the
campus, my brother and I separated and go to our respected classes. I
looked around the Academy, and I saw different kinds of students.


The Academy. The institution where I'm studying and training my warrior
skills is like a giant castle that is facing the south seas and protects
both neighboring lands. This massive 300-acre school is home for mages and
warriors in training. The academy has two distinct departments. The
Warriors department and Mages department. In the Warriors department, the
student can be anyone. Human, Shifters, Vampires and other beings that are
capable or willing to fight. The Mages Department is strictly for beings
who can cast or manifest magic.


As what I've said a while ago, the Academy sits between two neighboring
lands name Rugon and Orgon. The land of Rugon is populated mostly by humans
and mages facing the east side of the world, and the land of Orgon is the
place for shapeshifters and other extraordinary being facing the west
aspect of the world. Those nations are led by two powerful beings. In Rugon
is the Headmaster of Mages department name Matufestus Sa Gesta, the most
powerful mage of all and the one who leads Orgon is our Headmaster of the
Warriors department and the wolf shifter's prime alpha named Michael
Athan. Both of them are being feared and loved by many people.


The Academy is built for two purposes. One is to train students like us so
that we can protect our beloved lands and Two, the school actually serves
as a barrier to both lands. The core that protects the lands that are
hidden inside the school gives an invisible barrier that protects 70% of
each land, and the rest is waste land or being conquered by the
demons. Both the student and mentors don't have any idea where the core is
except for the headmasters.


I'm inside the classroom to have our one-day history class, It's like an
introductory class for second years students only. I was sitting in my
chair with my head and chin resting on my right hand while looking at the
sky when I heard the door opens. I look back in front of the room, and we
all gasp in surprised as we saw a headmaster walked in and stand in front
of us.


"Good morning second-year Warrior students. I'm Headmaster Matufestus and
as you can see, I'm wearing a robe and a big wizard hat apparently means
that I am a mage. First of all, I would like to say congratulation that you
guys made it to your second year and thank you for volunteering yourself to
become the defenders of our lands." the Headmaster bows his head slightly,
and he continues.


"Today, I'm going to explain to all of you about one extraordinary being
that we call a Magi and its 3 subordinates known as the sub-magis. A Magi
is a very powerful being that possesses unworldly abilities, and its power
is omnipotence. A Magi is originally a mage and the magi have unlimited
energy or so we called 'mana' that can perform first-grade magics to
extreme magics like building an empire or another world or destroy an
entire world in just one snap of a finger." The headmaster said very
seriously. I heard about this being called Magi from my big brother, but I
don't know a Magi can do such a thing. I listen intently as the headmaster
tells us more about this "Magi".


"The reason why a Magi have unlimited mana, it is because a Magi is guided
by a spirit called 'Ruh.'" The headmaster mutters some word and snaps his
fingers. All of a sudden, a lot of bright yellow tiny balls of light are
floating in mid air. The Ruh looks so beautiful like the stars in the night
sky. We are so drawn by the exceptional beauty of Ruh when suddenly the
headmaster clear his throat loudly. Everyone in the room including me
flinched, and we pay our attention back to the headmaster as he continues.


"This tiny lights around us are called a Ruh. The spirit of the past
life. When your friend or your loved one dies, they became Ruh, and they
will continue the mission to be the guide for the Magi."


As the headmaster tell us more about the Ruh, The Magi, and its 3
sub-magis, I notice that a lot of Ruh is coming my way, and some of them
are running in circles, and some of them are jumping like they were
happy. I was giggling loudly inside the class not noticing that headmaster
Matufestus stops lecturing inside the class. Someone in the class calls my
name softly, and I look around trying to find the one who called me when I
notice that all eyes are on me including the headmaster and worst when I
saw Alpha Michael is inside the room looking at me as well. Fuck! I am so
dead. I duck my head down as a sign of submission. I've never felt so
embarrass in my whole life before.


"What's your name boy and what's kind of warrior?" Matufestus ask flatly,
and the alpha looked at me with no expression. I stand up slowly, still
looking down.


"M-my name is Mako Willright h-headmaster. A-a spear user." The fuck! My
whole body is shaking from nervousness as I can sense as an enormous amount
of aura around headmaster Matufestus. Wait! That's strange. I've never
sensed an aura before.


"A spear user? Interesting. I've never encountered a warrior uses a spear
except for the past King of both lands. Do you realize what I just
realized, Alpha Michael?" Matufestus said walking towards me while looking
like he is going to devour my whole being. He really is scary.


"I agree with you Matufestus." Alpha Michael said without any emotions. He
really is scary as well, given that he is OUR alpha. Matufestus look at me
without blinking for 2 minutes, then he asks,


"Inhale deeply and exhale slowly of me, please. Make it 10." as ordered by
the headmaster. I started to inhale and exhale. Around my 6th inhale, I
notice that the Ruh glows brighter and when I exhale the Ruh will turn back
to its original brightness. This is... strange.

Metufestus grunt in approval and go back at the center of the room and tell
us our class is done for today, and they all go except for me. All students
head out of the room leaving me with the headmasters. When only the three
of us left in the room, alpha Michael looks at me and said,


"I'm expecting you at the pack mansion after school Mako." Alpha Micheal
alpha is scary.


"Yes, Alpha."

I'm sitting and leaning on the tree, waiting for my boyfriend, Titus. It
has been 10 minutes and I'm hungry, so I decided to open my lunch
box. Yeah, I know! I really don't like the food in the cafeteria, so I
decided to cook for myself as I know I'm good at cooking. I sniffed my own
masterpiece of a meal when I heard someone is coming toward me. I look up
and saw Titus together with his combat partner and close friend's name
Andy, a cat shifter. Specifically, a lynx.


Titus and I have been together for a year now since my first admission in
the academy. He's name is Titus Athan. He's the same age as me and the
second son of Alpha Micheal. Titus is very sexy on his warrior
suit. Standing 6'2", 200 pounds and one of the hottest guys in the
academy. Well, being popular is one of the perks when you're the son of the
alpha. He's a sword user and right now, he is currently number 2 in our
batch of greatest warriors. Well, I beat his ass during our last year's
final combat exam.


I don't like attention so much. I'm a bit anti-social because of my fear of
crowds and shyness as well. Even though I'm the number 1 in our batch of
warriors, I've never been popular and I've never dreamt of being one. I
just know what to do when the fight starts. And take note that I'm not a
violent person. Not until I need to fight or in self-defense.


"Hello, babe! I'm not going to be with you for this lunch today because
Andy and I need to plan our strategy for today's demon hunt test. Is that
okay with you?" Titus asks.


Titus is a kind of guy who is really possessive that he even don't want to
attend his classes just to be with me, but the time he met Andy during our
first week of our second year Titus began to change. He always goes to
study or plan their strategies for the combat with Andy.


My brother use to like Titus as my boyfriend until he saw Andy together
with him. For that moment, my brother is starting to ignore him or insult
Titus recently. One time, Leon told me to break up with Titus, but I
refuse. I ask my brother why, but his answer is always silence. That
argument became our largest sibling fight, but our love never wavers. Maybe
you think if I'm worried about it? Actually, I don't worry one bit, because
I trust Titus.


In our combat subjects, were grouped in pairs like Titus and Andy except
for me. I'm the oddball in the entire Warriors department. I'm too strong
to be paired with someone my age, and I'm always exempted in our combat
subjects. The only compatible person that I can pair with is my brother
Leon and his best friend Aries, Titus big brother and the next-in-line
alpha of our pack.


"Okay. I'll have my combat class later. You can go, babe." I give him my
sweetest smile. He is going to give me a hug and a kiss when the whole
atmosphere suddenly changes so violently all of the sudden. The aura around
feels so wicked, and I feel like the time stop. I look at Titus and Andy
when I saw something different for the first time.


The border of their bodies has this dark, shadowy like light and it feels
villainous and filthy. It looks scary, and I don't wanna be touched by
this. The whole thing is starting to move, and instinct kicked in
quickly. I slap both of his hands with mine in V position and stretch my
right leg as my back rest on the tree for support. When my good feet touch
his stomach, preventing him from hugging me, both my hand release a pretty
powerful shock wave around the park.


I really don't know what just happened. Everyone outside the park is
looking in our direction, pretty confuse while Andy and Titus had a face of
shock, fear, and confusion as well. I stood immediately and excuse myself
from Titus and Andy and ran towards my room.


I am really confused at what just happened a while ago. I can sense and see
auras, and I really don't know that I can move that fast. And what's with
the shock wave? Seriously, it never happened to me ever since I started
entering the school. I wash my face with cold water, still thinking those
events like a rewind movie. Everything feels so different. The auras, the
shock wave, the Ruh. What is with me today?


I pack some things and pick up my shiny spear, ready to attend the
class. Today is our one-on-one combat, which means I'm going to fight
against my fellow warriors. I check my things up and my armor as well when
I notice that something is missing. My bracelet that brother Leon gave to
me when the first time I attended the academy. It was my lucky charm, and I
really can't fight without it. It's the only thing that gives me confidence
during combats. That is when I remember that I left it in Titus room during
our "cuddling" session. I don't wanna see Titus after what happened a while
ago at the park, but I really need the bracelet. I need to go to the pack
mansion first.


I'm in the hallway walking toward Titus bedroom. As I'm walking closer to
Titus, I hear some grunts and moans inside the room. That stops me from
walking. The moans are getting louder, and I heard someone say,


     "Oh, your cock is so big! Fuck me harder! Give me that big cock of
yours Titus. Make me yours". I can't believe what I'm hearing. I wanna run
away, but my body is not listening to me. I was in front of Titus door now

Titus was gripping Andy's waist and was thrusting his hips and rams his
cock very hard in Andy's ass. I've been standing in front of Titus room

hear everything. I just hug my legs, keeping myself at the corner of the
room. I didn't notice that Leon came inside the room. Leon put his hand on
my right shoulder trying to get my attention. I look at him as he says
something, but I can't hear a word.


Leon looks very concerned right now, but that concerned look change into a
brotherly grin and it was followed a tender loving hug. Leon's embrace
change my black and white vision and then all those feeling finally sank
into me and then I automatically break down. Like any other big brother,
Leon tightens his hug, and he whispers to me soothingly that everything is
going to be okay.


I cried for almost 20 minutes as Leon didn't even let go of me. When I
calmed down, Leon let go his hug and look at me with brotherly love as I
saw face had a trail of dried tears. That is the time I mentally decided
that I'll protect Leon no matter what. Leon kisses my forehead and looks at
me again,


"It this about Titus, isn't it Mako?" he asks. Leon really has good
instinct.


"Yes," I mumble.


"Care to tell me, Lil bro?" Leon asks gently.


I explain to Leon what I saw and that Titus is cheating with me to that guy
named Andy. I can't even continue to tell the whole thing that I noticed
because it really hurts when I'm going to recall everything. Leon's face is
so red with rage. He was going to blow when the war bell in the school
rang. It means demons are going to attack the school. After the bell, an
announcement follows that all 3rd and 4th-year warriors and mages are going
to guard the 3rd shield that protects the school as the first shield had
been breached by the demons.


Leon instructed me to never leave the room without further
instructions. Leon packs his gear for the fight. Before he leaves, I hugged
Leon very tight and told him to be careful, and I love him. He kissed my
forehead and said that he loves me too and wait for the announcement.


Demons are known to be very vicious, and now, the world is on the verge of
war against this ungrateful beings. Demons are a long time enemy of our
lands because of the first Magi. In our lesson about the Magi, headmaster
Matufestus told us that the war between our lands and Thron Zul (the land
of demons) dated way back the ruling of the first Magi, King Solomon.


It said that King Solomon's court jester betrays him to seek power. The
court jester killed the 3 sub-magi and slaughter the court jester's
supporters and absorb their mana and revive them and thus the demons are
born. The court jester became the Overlord of all demons, and that makes
the great war begins. It was a hundred year war between them and us. After
a long war, King Solomon decided to sacrifice himself to destroy the world
he once created just to kill the Overlord and the demons.


King Solomon promise his people to give them a new home. After King Solomon
performed his deadly extreme magic which is one of the 7 sacred songs that
Solomon created to destroy his world. After that powerful magic, he revives
his old world to a new one using one of the 7 sacred songs as well.


Satisfied with his work, he told his people about a prophecy that the
demons will rise again in the next many years and try to destroy his
beautiful world again, but a new Magi will rise as his reincarnation. The
new magi will be accompanied by his king's candidate that will be 4th and
next ruler of the lands. And so, King Solomon disappears from existence
after he told the prophecy to everyone.


After the 3rd ruler of both lands passed, the first demon attack occurred
in the academy where the dead body of the 3rd ruler is held. Both our
headmasters barely defended the school when the 3rd ruler's wife, which is
a sub-magi, use its power to defend the whole academy and she becomes the
core that protects our lands.

I can feel that It was chaos outside as the earth shook from a powerful
blast that the mages made as they attack the army of demons. I look at the
window, the sky is getting dark. There's a series of lightning flashes of
deafening thunder clap sign that there's a storm. Watching the lightning
flashes and hearing thunder claps makes me feel good.


One of the lightning strikes so closely followed by an ear-splitting sound
of thunder startled me, and I suddenly cover my face and ears with a pillow
that I'm holding. Lightning and thunder still continue as I am slowly
taking the pillow off my face, but still closing my eyes shut. When I open
them slowly, I saw a shadow in front of my bed. When I look up, I gasp in
astonishment and fear. This giant man in front of me is so handsome.


He smiles sweetly, and his expression makes my rigid, tense body
soften. The man in my room looks like he can be trusted, but I need to be
cautious although he doesn't look that dangerous. The man in front of me is
emitting such powerful aura and mana. I guess this man is stronger than the
headmasters.


     This guy is maybe 6'11" in height and weigh 280 pounds of pure
muscle. This mysterious guy has the weirdest yet the most beautiful set of
eyes I've ever seen. His eyeballs are black and an amber iris that glows
when his face is hiding in the shadow. He has a long black hair that is
resting on both shoulders, long majestic horn and a red oval gem embedded
at the center of an 8 point star insignia in the center of his forehead. He
has a strong square jaw, enormous and muscular biceps and legs that are
covered in plain white cloth that is worth drooling for, but something's
odd about this guy's physical feature. On yeah, his skin color is BLUE and
scaly, looking like an armor.


I'm so surprised when this giant of a guy kneel, put his sword on the floor
and bow his head down in front of me.


"It's a pleasure to meet the young Magi and also the reincarnation of King
Solomon. I'm Baal. Djinn of Wrath and Heroes and also one the first
sub-magi of the world. I am here to get you out of the academy and bring
you the paradise as ordered."
