THE WOLF

By

From Chapter Three:
Finally, the meal finished, Wolf looked at the boy. **We need to
talk, my love,** he said.
	**About puppies?** Davy interjected.
Wolf nodded. **About puppies,** he repeated.
**You think you and I might be able to make puppies together,**
Davy added. **What makes you so sure?**

Chapter Four

**There is a place--it is far, I must admit--where one can bathe in waters
that will infuse the bather with such an ability as I have
described. Infertile females have made the journey and within weeks of
getting home, became pregnant with their mate’s child.**
**But that’s females,** Davy objected. **I’m a male. Males aren’t
supposed to have babies.**
**True,** Wolf agreed. **But think on it. Perhaps you’ll be the
first male to give birth.**
**My giving birth to your puppies would be wonderful,** Davy told
him, **but is it possible?** Obviously the boy had doubts.
**There’s really only one way to find out,** the wolf replied,
**and that’s to try it. Don’t you agree?**
Davy nodded. **I do. Where is this place?** the boy wanted to know.
Wolf told him. The journey--even at Wolf’s exceptional speed--would
take a very long time. They could expect to be away from their home for
months on end--possibly as long as a year.
And the journey wouldn’t be without its perils. There would be
passing through places where humans--and wolves--were viewed as food by the
beasts of the many forests and swamps and jungles they would, of necessity,
pass through. **Isn’t there an alternative route?** Davy asked after
hearing the various perils that lay between the tree and their destination.
**There is,** Wolf admitted, **but it has to be avoided. The beasts
I’ve described occupy a small space in their environment while the
alternative would kill us in a short space of time. At least the way I’ve
described gives us better odds of survival. The other way has none.**
**We’ll go the way you’ve described,** Davy agreed, **but I’ll look
to you to protect me--I’m practically defenceless, as you can see.**
**Don’t worry, my love,** Wolf replied, **I’ll not lose you so soon
after finding you.**
Davy and Wolf rose and, leaving the fire banked and glowing,
returned to their cave. **Where are we going to wash?** Davy asked his
hirsute companion.
**I’ll show you,** Wolf told him, **but later today we must make
plans for our journey to the Pool of Life.** He led the boy from the tree
and moved at a right angle to their former approach.
This took them to a cleft in the rocks through which the boy could
hear the sound of water falling. **A waterfall?** he asked Wolf.
**Actually that’s a very good name for it--water that falls. Hmm, I
like that.** In some ways the wolf was more naïve than his younger
companion.
In actual fact the name waterfall proved to be a misnomer; to Davy
it looked as if all the water of the world had gathered at this one place
and was pouring into an abyss with a roar that deafened the closer they got
to it.
**It’s as well that we can “speak” with our minds,** Davy
told Wolf.
	**How so?**
**If we had to rely on speech then I’d never hear you over the
noise this fall is making,**
**I understand,** the wolf replied. **We go down there,** he said,
indicating a path that descended along the edge of the abyss.
It only took the pair a few minutes and they were at a small
run-off that provided clear and refreshing water for bathing in without any
danger of being swept into the abyss.
Feeling that, nothing ventured, nothing gained, Davy shrugged off
his bearskin outfit and shoes and dived in with a yell that echoed around
the canyon. Wolf watched for a couple of seconds then followed his mate’s
example.
It took Davy a while to get used to the ice-cold water but, once he
had adjusted, the pair frolicked and gambolled in the run-off for at least
an hour. Finally the pair hauled themselves onto the bank. Wolf shook
himself to shed the water from his now-clean fur.
Davy rubbed himself dry with his bearskin outfit then got back into
them. **Come on, let’s get back to the cave,** he suggested. **The fire
should help warm and dry me.**
Although it was mostly uphill the pair managed to get back to the
cave below the tree within a few minutes. Then, five minutes after that,
Davy was dry and ready for whatever Wolf had in mind.
Davy, sensing what Wolf wanted, quickly shed his skin and boots
then lay face down on the leaves and moss of their love bed. Wolf lowered
his head and his tongue licked from Davy’s balls, up the perineum to the
wolf’s “hole of delight,” as he termed it. Once there the tongue
plunged into the boy’s hole and he worked on widening it even more than
previously. Instinct had told the wolf that Davy had been hurting when the
knot had entered but he had refused to say anything, proving how loving the
boy was toward his new paramour--as his paramour was toward him.
Davy moaned as the wolf prepared him for another invasion and his
cock hardened until it was like stone. The youth was in another dimension,
such was the talent of his paramour, his Wolf.
Finally, when Wolf sensed the boy was wide enough, the large
creature placed himself over the almost comatose youth, lowered his
haunches and sank all fifteen inches into the warm hole in a single thrust.
Impaled and invaded, Davy felt as if he had died and gone to
heaven. The cock, much larger than previously, filled him and he knew that
he was going to enjoy making puppies with Wolf--assuming of course that
they could actually make puppies after their visit to the Pool of Life.
But then something even larger wanted entry and Davy’s eyes widened
in shock. ‘What…’ he began out loud before remembering he was
supposed to frame his speech in his mind. **What…** he repeated,
**what’s that?**
**Just relax, my love,** Wolf assured the boy as his considerably
larger knot demanded entry. **Push out as I push the knot in…now,** he
“said” as he gave one almighty thrust…
Davy, shocked by the massive intrusion, let out a scream that
echoed around the cave and into the tree above, startling a number of birds
that had nestled there into taking flight.
**Take it out, take it out, take it out!** Davy begged, tears
pouring from his eyes as the red-hot intruder threatened to split him in
two. **Please!** he begged the wolf.
But Wolf wasn’t listening; he had known the boy would be tight and,
no amount of gentleness would have made an atom of difference. This had to
happen, Davy’s body had to learn to accept this larger version of his cock
if they were to have any chance of a meaningful relationship.
Davy, knowing that Wolf had no intention of taking the cock out
before he had cum, surrendered to the inevitable. He relaxed his ass as
best he could and, before he realised it, the pain had disappeared to be
replaced by the most pleasurable sensation he had ever come across. But
why, he wondered, had the wolf’s cock gotten so much bigger than before?
**I have no idea,** Wolf told him, having heard the question. **I
only know that, on occasion, it does get bigger. I couldn’t warn you,** he
added, **you might have left me.**
**How little you know me,** Davy telegraphed. **When I give my word
about something I keep it. Still, I can understand why you didn’t say
anything; you didn’t know me well enough. That, I can assure you, will
change--given time.**
By now Davy’s body had become used to this much-larger cock--not
accustomed to it, that would be virtually impossible while he was this
size--and wondered if the wolf had any more surprises in store. He heard
Wolf chuckle in his mind and knew the question had amused the massive
creature.
As the knot lodged itself firmly in Davy’s ass Wolf became as still
as a tree, his cock pulsing its life-giving fluid into the boy’s rectal
passage.
The heat from this spread throughout Davy’s body, warming him while
his partner/lover/mate pumped the payload into his darkness.
It was with relief, tempered with disappointment, that the boy felt
the knot begin to shrink and the cock to slip from his ass. Finally,
exhausted beyond measure, Wolf sank onto his side, his fore and hind-legs
framing the now-sleeping boy. He knew they should discuss what Davy needed
to take with him when they began their trek but, since the journey would
take many months to achieve, tomorrow would do as well as today.

Tomorrow dawned, as every day had done since time immemorial, with the rays
of the sun leaking into the cave beneath the tree and making its presence
felt to the sleeping occupants.
Davy, to his own surprise, woke first. Usually Wolf was up and
about before he even knew it was daytime. But the wolf had been exhausted
by his rut with the boy and had slipped into an almost comatose state. He
was still sleeping when Davy wriggled from his hairy embrace and went to
take care of some urgent business.
Minutes later the boy was back and he discovered the wolf was
awake. Smiling down at his mate Davy began speaking in their curious
language. **I think it might be best if I gave you a name,** he said. **I
can’t go on calling you Wolf for the rest of our life.**
**Why not?** Wolf asked him. **It’s quite acceptable, you know.**
**I’ll tell you why not,** Davy returned. **My name is Davy, as you
know, and calling you Wolf would be like calling me “Human” instead
of Davy.** He shook his head. **No. You need a name and I’m just the one to
provide it--because no-one else will. I’ll think of something appropriate,
rest assured.**
Wolf knew that, when Davy said he’d do something, he’d do it; so
the big animal acceded to the boy’s demands.
There was silence in the cave while the boy sorted through various
names. Finally, his mind made up, he looked up and fixed the wolf with a
stare. **I think the name, “Marrok” will be appropriate.**
	**Why?** Wolf wanted to know.
**Because it bears no relationship to any other name I’ve heard
of,** the boy told him. **Marrok gives you dignity over more ordinary
names. How does it sound to you?** Davy asked him.
**Dignified,** was the wolf’s reply. **Yes, definitely
dignified. Marrok; I like it.**
**Then I dub thee, “Marrok,”** the boy said.
Marrok rose and lowered his head in acknowledgement. **Thank you,**
he said, **I shall cherish it as you are the one who gave it to me.**
**You’re welcome,** Davy replied. **Let’s get washed then I’ll cook
us a meal. After that we must discuss what needs to be taken when we leave
for this Pool of Life you talked about.**
And that was what they did.

When the pair set out the next morning all that Davy had on was his
bearskin outfit and the claw boots. They had decided that since neither
could carry much, they would forage for food and the various supplies along
the way.
Having got that subject out of the way, the pair spent the rest of
the day and evening, “making love,” as Davy now termed it. Then, when
darkness approached, they fell into a contented sleep with the wolf’s cock
still buried deep inside Davy’s ass.
Because of his great strength and size Marrok deemed it easy to
carry his mate on his back; in this fashion the pair would make good time
each day.
**Keep your eye out for something that’ll make a good needle,**
Davy told his mate. **I’ll need something to sew the rabbit pelts together
after we return,** he added. **It needs to be thin and pointed, about as
long as my little finger and have a hole at the end to take thread.** Where
he was going to get some thread, Davy had no idea.
**I’ll keep my eyes open,** Marrok replied as he picked their way
through the thick trees along a narrow defile.
Finally the pair were through the cleft and the wolf paused and
they gazed at the vista spread before them. A grassy plain stretched away
from them seeming to disappear into a mist-shrouded region. Beyond that,
Davy had been told, was one of the most inhospitable regions in the world;
a vast region of desert, salt flats and quicksand with the rare oasis with
which to slake their thirsts.
**Don’t worry, my love,** Marrok assured him, **the desert is still
a few days journey away.** And he began their descent down to the grassy
plain below.
For the next three days the pair traversed the grassy plain,
stopping only to refresh themselves with sleep, food or drink. And sex, of
course. By now Davy was used to the variable sizes of Marrok’s cock--having
been subjected to the largest on three separate occasions while making the
trek. The boy knew that he would be very lucky to find anyone else with a
cock bigger than Marrok’s and was well satisfied with the way things had
turned out. The very fact that they were heading for a distant objective
with the sole purpose of getting him pregnant--if such a thing were
possible--was point enough.
Finally the grassy plain ended, although there was no clear cut
line separating it from the desert, the terrain became less fertile and
more sandy; like Davy had seen in miniature at the lake beach where his
relationship with Marrok began.
And then the desert was there. The wolf stopped and the pair gazed
out over one of the more inhospitable terrains in the entire world.
Davy wondered if they would ever reach the other side and Marrok
was of similar mind.
**It might be best if we rested up during the day and only moved at
night,** was Davy’s suggestion. **It’s usually the heat that kills,** he
added, **so moving at night would make more sense.**
Marrok agreed with his lightweight burden. He studied the terrain,
looking for a likely resting place away from the heat of the sun; there was
still a few hours to go before it set.
Davy pointed to their left. **Over there,** he said, indicating a
copse of trees.
Marrok moved toward it and, in a few minutes the pair were laying
beneath the meagre shade afforded by the trees. Already the desert heat was
having an effect on the pair and neither felt like indulging in anything
other than sleep.
	So they slept.

##To be continued##

What will happen to the pair when they get into the desert proper? Suffice
to say that a great adventure awaits them. It won’t be long before they
meet their first obstacle; more details on that in the next chapter.

I want to thank everyone who sent me e-mails with suggestions for a name
for Wolf. As you can see from this chapter I’ve picked one. I’m not going
to mention who suggested it until I hear from them how they want to be
remembered; as a note at the end of a chapter or as a character in the
sequel.
